It was not possible to access my cabin due to conditions of the road to the cabin- no salt, sand, markers to indicate the road or, edge of the road. This was in sharp contrast to other venues which had plowed or prepared roads for guests. When I slid down the hill back to the reception/ check in area, explained that I could not get to my cabin, the response was "maybe I can call maintenance and maybe they can plow". Ridiculous.

Private log cabins with fireplace and hot tub (too cold to use), but the fireplace was cozy and used consistently. The cabins are clean and very spacious - with a kitchenette! It snowed the entire time we were there and the Lodges made sure snow removal trucks passed by constantly. Impressed!! Wisp Resort is less than 10 minutes away for skiing and snow tubing. Kids loved that! We brought our little dog! Bring food, paper towels, snacks, drink, and water (not a lot of options in town). The entire family had a great and memorable New Year’s trip. Will return!

If you are looking for fresh mountain air, pet friendly, 5 star accomodations, friendly people, beautiful scenic views any season! winter. summer. spring or fall 🍂🍁 Lodges at Sunset Village have quaint log cabins with propane fireplaces. and incredibly relaxing hot tubs, clean rooms and client services i.e. Special thanks to the front desk hostess - I sent a text message at 6:30 pm on a Friday asking for a few more pillows and the front desk delivered it on their way home 20 minutes later in 20* temps with 20 mph wind gusts! thank you! The small details go along way! You will not regret your visit!!!!

The couch was just ok. A ceiling fan to circulate the heat from the fireplace would be a great addition. The hot tub was clean and an added bonus. Perfect view of the lake. - Kentaro (9/5): 晩秋の湖畔を楽しむ - 私たちが宿泊したのはフロントレイクのロッジであったが、文字通りレイクの目の前であり、夕暮れや朝起きてすぐなど色々な時間の湖畔の情景を楽しむことができた。ロッジは広々としていて雰囲気があり、ソファが心地よく、暖炉のそばで本を読みながら晩秋の夜長を楽しむ時間は格別であった。キッチン道具も一通りそろっていて、ロッジ内にコンロはなかったものの、隣のロッジに敷設されているグリルでステーキと野菜を美味しく焼くことができた。近くのスーパーまで車で5分以内に行くことができる。子供が誤ってバスルームのドア鍵を閉めてしまったというハプニングがあったが、すぐにスタッフが対応してくれた。 思いつくものは特にありません。私たちが訪問した11月は天気が安定していないようで、2日目に予定していた近隣でのトレイルは悪天候で断念してしまいました。

- DayTrip36587764762 (8/5): Perfect Couples Retreat - Perfect spot for a romantic couples weekend. A nice king size bed in the room. The location is close to hiking spots and restaurants. The room had a full size refrigerator and microwave. One suggestion would be to pack a roll of paper towels. We would definitely stay there again.

The view of the lake was spectacular (note that it was Cabin # 1, the closest to the lake). Lodge personnel were helpful and pleasant. Check-out procedures were easy.

One suggestion: Provide more bar soap for bathroom and provide paper towels (or alternative) for kitchen area. Great location--close to restaurants and recreation areas. We'll be back!

The communication was incredible honestly so helpful with text reminders and check ins. The cabin met all my expectations - perfectly clean, solid furniture, plenty of space, very comfortable, well decorated. The view of the lake is beautiful. There is a little playground right next to the cabins for young children. The location was situated perfectly for the wedding we were attending at Blue Moon Rising. We would 100% stay here again when we come back to visit the area.

We wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the city more but the airport nearby only flies to our destination periodically. We stayed in the bunk room and had an event with other families. We all enjoyed how close the cabins were located in relation to each other and the fact that there was a spot for kids and sitting out by the fire. If you're contemplating whether a stay here is worth it, it is.

- Shelly (1/5): Bad - N/A The rooms were not as expected. Read the fine print closely. The rooms are TINY. It was very cold and drafty in our cabin. The amenities list a hot tub - not all cabins have a hot tub. They upgraded us to a cabin with a hot tub after I asked, but it wasn't actually an upgrade - Our toilet was broken in our room of the hot tub cabin and pouring water all over the floor. When I asked for some type of compensation, they said they could give us 20% off the next stay. However, I wouldn't stay again. The cabins are so close together that the view of the lake is blocked unless you are at the lake front cabin. Quiet time is at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night and they continuously text.

Parking is right in front of your cabin door so loading in and out was super easy.

The kitchenette was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, had a great night's sleep after long days on the slopes. Plenty of hot water, the shower was great, fluffy towels a bonus. Wide selection of cable channels and the wifi was fast and responsive. The location is close to the slopes and restaurants. We hope to return soon!

We stayed in cabin 25 and 29 which are standalone cabins, for Martin Luther Luther King weekend We put our 12/13 year olds in one cabin, and adults and dog in other one. Worked perfectly The cabins are immaculately clean and quiet, spacious. This location is within a few miles of wisp resort . Cabin 29 has a view of the slopes. My only small criticism is that the heater units are a bit loud when turning on and off, particularly at night Otherwise, this is an outstanding value and a wonderful experience. We’re definitely coming back again for a ski weekend
