When we arrived there, the staff is very supportive. The security is very strict and we feel safe parking our car inside the Hotel. The room is very clean and has a comfy office table where I can work a little bit before enjoying the vacation. In the morning, we had a tasty breakfast and continue our vacation inside the hotel since it has many family friendly facility such as swimming pool, mini fam, playground, and kid's club. I would like to recommend to stay here if you visit to Ancol or Jakarta.. it's worth the price.

The Restaurant Staff (Iqbal) came over to my table to make sure the food is great and I told him the rice was a bit overcooked. In every gate entrance you have you have to buy an entrance ticket which is non sense for someone who’s already have a hotel reservation ! Not a bad hotel, clean, spacious, respectful staff they want to help but they don’t know English very well, I asked for a car from the concierge office to the airport at a specific time, And I was shocked that it was not there and the receptionist informed me that there was a misunderstanding and they have to make a new request for a the car ! And so should wait for it ! I didn’t like Ancol In every gate entrance you have you have to buy an entrance ticket which is non sense for someone who’s already have a hotel reservation !
- Ronald (2/5): Don't stay here unless they PAY YOU. - Seemed like a good room from the pictures... seems like a good hotel... but honestly, I was more happy to leave. I wouldn't stay here unless it was REALLLYYY CHEAP. Biggest complaint are the gates to the area - Grab cannot get in for free. They charge 30k per person. This is EXTREMELY aggravating. This only makes your hotel POINTLESS. No easy access. Takes grab/taxi TOO long to get to your hotel. I wasted more time waiting for grab to navigate around the gates than I did enjoying the area. Hotel staff are NOT helpful with this problem - totally clueless. Also, scanning our bags/luggage EVERY TIME we enter your hotel - that's.... NOT welcoming. This makes me quite angry and I haven't even checked into your hotel yet. We asked the staff about any nearby food - they said there was none. In fact, AFTER we ordered Grab - we found a VERY NICE, area with lots of food options ON THE HOTEL GROUNDS! Why didn't their own staff know about this???? This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Not even close. Maybe it was.... 30 years ago.... false advertising.

- Mohammad (8/5): - Hotel is dated but clean and staff are friendly and approachable. Unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes especially at the lobby area and guest receptions area. These are in the hotel and not outside. Best to eliminate this at its their first impressions when we come in and where guests sit around at the lounge cafe enjoying pastries and coffee. Can't stay long with all the mosquitoes.

I showed her from my reservation that I requested non-smoking room but she was unable to give me a non-smoking room. She gave me a “flexible” room where smoking is optional (basically a smoking room then??!!) and the room smelled cigarette. Pool was very nice, breakfast was good, there are a lot of attractions nearby.

- Mohamed (7/5): The personnel that entered my room compound easily is definitely a deal breaker on why I should refrain from booking the - It was kids friendly. Good playing area, swimming pool and kids zone. Too many mosquitoes at the rabbit feeding area, poolside and even in the room balcony. Lift is slow moving. Lightings in the room definitely need improvement. Quite dull in the evening. Walls are too thin that I can hear people talking from another room. Questionable on the privacy and security of the rooms as I was surprised to find someone watering the plants outside my room at the balcony. He must’ve climbed over from another room. Definitely not what I expected to see after returning from breakfast. If that is being done easily, imagine if someone were to sneak into the room at night and commit crimes as I have 2 children with me! Balcony door was unable to lock from inside as well.

You have to pay for EACH entrance to this area 30.000,- IDR per person…even for taxi! No map of this area available in the hotel.

- Amanda (6/5): Ok - Nice staff and amazing breakfasts. Isolated and there was a charge to get on site. Getting to the place was very difficult through a special entry and taxis were charged. There was a pass code system but it wasn’t explained well and a new pass was required for every entry which was difficult if you didn’t know you exact movements. Also around the facility seems a bit run down post covid, I guess. Not what I was expecting compared to the website on the area.

Book a 90-minutes couple massage in advance but when we arrived there, the therapist said only a 60 minutes massage can be provided coz it clash with another booking
- Gek (8/5): Very good - Excellent location and the hotel was exceptionally clean with great facilities and a nice lounge/cafe in the lobby. Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly too. They allowed us to check in at 12PM, 3 hours ahead of check-in time. Definitely worth the money! Room furnishings were rather basic and hairdryer was only available via request. You’ll also have to pay 25k everytime you go into the Ancol area where the hotel is located.

- Laura (6/5): Pleasant - This hotel has a very nice and modern lobby. The swimming pool and kids club are big and awesome. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable. Location is great, just next to Dufan. We stayed during holiday season, so there were a lot of guests, but the parking lot are spacious, it's still easy to find space to park our car. The overall service could be improved. We had couple of unpleasant experience during our stay: 1. When we check in, it's a bit hard to find someone who could help us bringing our lugages from car to hotel lobby (we travel with kids and senior citizen and brought several bags, so any help is highly appreciated) 2. After finally we got a cart to bring our lugage, we checked-in as usual. We gave our lugage tag and room number to the bell boy, and he promised to bring them to our room. We waited for more than one hours in our room, but the lugage never came. My husband then came down to lobby to check. It was by surprise that all of our lugages were getting out of the cart (it was already on the cart before) and being abandoned in the lobby. After complaining, then finally we get it delivered. 3. We requested extra bed and paid for it during check-in. We waited for almost 3 hours and called several times to receptionist, but the extra bed was not coming. Only after getting downstairs to lobby to complaint, then the extra bed finally came. 4. The lobby and public facilities are great, but the room is relatively old. There was a lot of stain on the wall and on the carpet. The hallway to the room was a bit smelly also. The bath room is spacious but mouldy on some spots including the bathroom sink. 5. The curtain has no vitrage, which is quite unusual for 4 star hotel. Room lighting (both natural light or electrical) is low, which make it quite gloomy. 6. When we went for breakfast, we were asked to pay for extra person (7 y.o. kid). It is normal and we don't mind at all. There were 4 of us, while the breakfast was for 3 person (with extra bed). We were asked to pay full price (IDR 220k) for the kid.I decided to pay after breakfast. When I queued after breakfast for paying, a family in front of me has 10 y.o. kid and asked to pay IDR 108k. I'm wondering why earlier I was asked to pay higher for smaller kid?
- Andryhendrasukma (6/5): Save your money, find another hotel.. - The lobby is very nice and clean. And i choose this hotel because i was visiting Dufan so it's very convinient. The kids also enjoy the pool. One thing dissapointed me that we were stayingat Ancol area. Thought that the hotels inside there is giving the guest the Ancol pass. Like how it use to be back then. But instead they said they wont give the pass because i book the room from Booking.com So if you are planning to get in and out from Ancol, i suggest book the room directly to their website. I didn't get why the TV was so small for that size of room. The next room have bigger tv. Ac was hot in the middle of the night. I had connecting room and the other room also very hot. Ac always stopping and you have to turn it back on all the time. Bathroom was also fallen apart. Water pressure was ridicilously slow. The sink knob fell out. The lighting was to dark for bathroom. I will not go back to this hotel.

- Tamiiii (6/5): Disappointing. Not worth - Nothing in particular. The lobby looked nice though. There was no view from the room. Asked for a change since we checked in and asked for change quite early so there should be more room. The room looked old and not clean. The breakfast were quite limited and tasted just okay. Really hoping for more. We expected overpriced food but the quality was very disappointing and not hotel level at all.

- Amandakthnx (9/5): Perfect hotel for a short family getaway in Ancol - Spacious room, decent breakfast spread, plenty of activities for children (swimming pool with a waterslide, outdoor and indoor playgrounds, lobby playground, plus a Hugo City playground at IDR 150,000/child + companions). Staff are all very friendly and always make sure our stay is enjoyable. Hotel is old but well taken care of. I was told over the phone that despite the room description mentioning free entry to Ancol is included, this is apparently no longer the case except if you book directly with the hotel. However, reservation was kind enough to give us a pass to Ancol as described. Please change room description if this is no longer the case. Room can get a bit musty.
