- Phill (10/5): Best accom in Ballina, great town, great people - 4th time we have stayed and absolutely love it. We will be back Bigger YV haha
- Lynette (10/5): Only place to stay in Ballina. - The TravelLodge has a complete separate kitchen for guests. It is great. Only 5min walk to centre of town with shops, cafes restaurants, grocery stores. Nothing
- Sam (9/5): - Clean, modern and well appointed room. Comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. Great for a short or overnight stay as it was well located. Room didn't have enough power points near TV. Not a big issue given the overall experience was great.
- Tracey (8/5): -
- Carol (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - Exceptional cleanliness. Central location about 2 blocks from River. Very friendly and helpful welcome. Use of communal kitchen which was immaculately clean. Also a pool.

An aged facility that has been brought back to life with tasteful furnishings, new bathroom and all that you need. A new pool was a delight to enjoy after a long drive.
Just great and I'd visit again. A noisy fan
- Margaret (10/5): Lovely motel. Great room. Recommend! - Quiet location but walk to shops and restaurants. V clean. V comfortable bed. V tastefully decorated. Lovely quiet aircon! Would def stay again. Nothing

- Kathleen (8/5): This property was very comfortable. Had a very enjoyable stay. - Our unit was clean, comfortable and quiet. Towels, bed linen and pillows top quality. Location was close to shopping precinct. Ample parking. Management and staff very helpful and friendly. Very small area for shower, vanity and toilet. Pool gate was always locked when wanting to use pool. Wifi signal weak in unit. Worked better outside.
- Alex (8/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): Loved it! - Very accommodating, clean, and highly recommended. Walking distance to town. Will be going back! Nothing
- Brad (8/5): Clean, tidy and well maintained. -
- Damian (5/5): Adequate but disappointing. - Location was good. Kept invalidating my card for the booking so the room was cancelled and gone when I’d arrived. I had to get a lesser room. The receptionist informed me that cards are often invalidated and bookings cancelled. In the end I was given a smaller room with no amenities - these were all communal. Not what I’f originally booked.
- DONNA (8/5): Excellent as always - Quiet , clean and great spot Every thing was good
- Dennis (6/5): -
- Simon (9/5): -
- MICHELLE (10/5): Easy breezy and comfortable! - Very clean, laundry on site, friendly workers, comfortable accommodations, nice pool. I would have liked a choice of rooms at the time of check-in.
- Kanita (8/5): we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and gorgeously appointed the room was. - the room was gorgeous, very clean, it appeared newly rennovated, it was quite a boutique feeling appointed room. we had a double bed and single bed in our room and all the pillows were just too big. it would be nice to have variation in density, maybe keep to soft and medium density would be best as we all woke with sore necks.
the single chair in the room could do with a good wash. otherwise a gorgeous piece for the room.
- Breingan (8/5): - Friendly staff, very clean, complimentary ev charger The rooms are older
- Juha (7/5): -
- Ann MAREE (4/5): BALLINA RIP OFF - Rip off $560 for ONE night basic room fridge tiny freezer not working a TINY tv mould in the grouting of bathroom rip off Travel Lodges name no where near that quality. The pool was ok Everything but the pool
- Jenny (8/5): -
- Tammy (8/5): Nice, clean and easy to get to with parking and a short stroll to the main street. - Only there as a stop over., so clean and comfortable. Opening the door right onto the pool and having people sitting right outside our door after the pool was shut. We also didn’t get the room we booked or the room that is shown in the photos.
- Darren (5/5): It was clean, quiet with good facilities but room stove was not usable and range hood not working. - Very clean, quiet location, close to town, good facilities such as a clean pool and a communal kitchen. Room had a courtyard out the back. Went there with my mother so needed two beds. Thought the room had two beds but one was a sofa bed. The sofa bed offered no back support. Asked staff if they had a cot or fold up bed they didn’t have one. Wanted to charge an extra $300 for another room with two beds. So had to buy a cheap inflatable mattress. Room had a small kitchen. The stove took ages to heat up and was not usable so we got a cheap electric frypan. Also the Range hood did not work. If it was just a married couple staying there it would be ok except that the stove and range hood need repair or replacement. Wasted a day getting the stuff we needed. Also wifi was really bad and slow. Not very impressed.

- Phil (9/5): We'd recommend a stay here to anyone stopping in Ballina. - Vanessa, who greeted us, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, as was the excellent shared kitchen and additional lounge area. The quiet location was only about 150 metres from the CBD. Nothing to add here! It was better than expected.
- Simone (5/5): Venue was clean, good value for money, but room to small and not enough room in batbroom - Close to where we were going for a wedding, walking distance The bathroom was very tiny, coukd not even dry myself in the bathroom, had to walk out near the bed, and the bed sunk in the middle so it was very uncomfortable to sleep
- Jonty (10/5): -

- Wedlock (8/5): -
- Grace (8/5): - Location, close to town for commodities. The bathroom was very narrow, making it difficult to dry off when coming out of the shower.
- Lister (8/5): - Convenient to town , The brick saw tiling the pool bit no big deal . Would of been nice to know major rennos going on.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Phillip (8/5): -
- Eunice (9/5): -
- Lisa (5/5): - Lovely Motel, the room we had was lovely and light but very small and the bathroom was tiny. Alright for 1 night.
- DStorey (9/5): - The room was modern and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Staff were delightfully helpful. Recommended place to stay in Ballina.
- Daniel (10/5): - Check in lady was very pleasant and friendly.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Perfectly appointed, great facilities including communal kitchen & lounge for gatherings - THE ROOM IS MORE LIKE A SMALL SUITE WITH EVERYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED AVAILABLE. Have stayed before and will stay again, great service, facilities and not too far from the city centre or shopping/dining options.
- Melissa (10/5): - Allowed me to check in a little early no complaints great place to stay

- Taifer (9/5): Comfortable -
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (2/5): - The motel has had its day.
- Boota (7/5): Good -
- Lee (8/5): - Very quiet location close to town, needs more electric wall sockets, only found 1 double, needs another near the kettle and toaster, bed was comfy but did end up meeting in the middle!
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Vicky (10/5): Great value.definitely stay again - Very clean and comfortable. Love having a guest kitchen to cook breakfast Bathroom is tiny but still ok
- David (8/5): - Very convenient to the main street but quiet.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Location, very quiet Stayed 4 times room number 1 not up to the same standard as other rooms
- Frank (4/5): - While the property itself is okay, the rating is regarding the poor customer service of the property. Unfortunately the property owner chose to stop communicating and refused a refund ä when there was an order to prepare for evacuation for Ballina CBD in place during tropical cyclone Alfred issued by NSW State Emergency Services. 0 out of 0
- Bartolo (6/5): Stay was ok but a bit overpriced. - Location Couldn’t turn noisy ceiling fan off, made sleep difficult.
- Peter (8/5): Centrally Located - Comfortable - I had the friendliest checkin experience. Motel is fine, in a quiet street, the rooms have been somewhat renovated.
The air-conditioning could have been positioned better, but in general ok for the price.
- Sandra (8/5): - We were there during the Cyclone so it was very wet but the staff were very helpful.
- Bob (9/5): Having a pool great after a long drive - quiet place to stay. Room clean, the bed was comfortable. Lounge needs replacing. Staff very helpful Lounge needs replacing.
- Damian (10/5): Great place to stay - Easy access to town, pool and communal fully stocked kitchen Pool was locked early in the afternoon
- Heather (8/5): On the whole It was lovely great position - Great location, nice pool. The toilet leaked on the floor but I guess it’s only a perished seal.
Didn’t like being next to the steel door where the garbage was opened and shut.
- Ann (10/5): Perfect quiet place, very clean, and round the corner was the main street and many restaurants. - Very quiet and room was such fun with 'book shelf' wall paper and one felt they were asleep in a library. Sadly the manager said they would be 'refreshing' the decor soon though I said how much fun the room was with old wooden bedside tables and a decent painting in the room. I guess they will make it vanilla like all other motel rooms and it will lose its charm. My room was very small but one didn't notice this because it was so delightful! Also so easy to walk around the corner to the main street with loads of cafes. the fact they are going to change the decor!
- Steve (8/5): good. will come again - parking very close to room room is fairly small
- Pauline (9/5): Superb -
- Damian (10/5): Stayed two nights and was an easy walk to everything - Access to large communal kitchen,
Clean, quiet, beautiful pool Nothing
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Allison (8/5): Very good -
- Colleen (10/5): Quiet location - Staff member was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Close to everything, walking distance to main street but very quiet area. The room was very clean and comfortable. My husband enjoyed a dip in the pool too! Nothing
- Smith (10/5): Very happy, 2nd stay with more to come - Love the location, walking distance to places we wanted to go Leaving
- Paula (10/5): - Amazing!

Room was very clean.
It was great having a dip in the clean swimming pool.
