We also had a small backyard, which was very handy for our furry babies, and they enjoyed it very much. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend this place to others.

The rest of the unit was not serviced during our 3 night stay. There are extremely noisy trains running very close by during the night and early morning.

- Ruth Rankin (7/5): Disappointing due to the noise level - Room was well equipped With a name like Bay Watch and a photo of the room with the water outside we thought it was close to the beach. Not only was it not close but access to the beach from the motel's location was difficult/impossible. This motel is situated on Evans Street which is actually State Highway 1, named Evans Street as it passes through the town, and then becomes State Highway 1 again. The noise level day and night was exceptionally loud so we had very little sleep both nights we stayed there. Trucks and semis travelling through at all times

- Frank (9/5): Sehr gute Unterkunft mit Meerblick. - Die Unterkunft war genauso wie auf den Fotos von booking.com dargestellt. Erwähnenswert ist die rückwärtige Terrasse mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Das Bett war super und nicht zu weich. Die Stellplätze sind sehr eng und bei Vollbelegung muss extrem rangiert werden.

- rocky road to dublin (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. - Our unit upstairs was large, clean and very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable with good quality bedding. The motor lodge is in a really good situation, we were able to walk into town for dinner in under ten minutes. We very much enjoyed our stay here, we had everything we needed for a great weekend. The owners and staff are really lovely and very helpful, we will definately be staying here again on our next visit to NZ. We found nothing to complain about.

- Lisi (10/5): 下次来TIMARU一定会再来住这家🥰 - 房间宽敞明亮，两室一厅的房子，非常适合我们一家四口，窗外风景也非常好ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧。可惜我们一路上走走停停的玩，到达旅馆的时间比较晚了，不然可以体验更多舒适时光。 有些房客停车不守规矩，那晚我们出门晚餐和看企鹅，回来很晚，结果车位就被占了……前台也没有人了……很无奈。后来从窗户看到那位占停我们车位的房客到车上拿东西，我们才自己下去跟他沟通，请他把车移开。

- Christine (7/5): For the time we had in Timaru it was a comfortable night sleep and it was what we needed before we set off on our next t - The view to the ocean from the room was pretty. The room was clean. The staff were helpful and obliging. They provided a shared outdoor laundry for customer use which is great for travellers The decor was a little dated. The shower was over a high sided corner spa bath, and that makes it difficult from a safety perspective for older people. There was a handrail attached to the wall at the top left hand corner of the bath to aid instability.

We loved the location given it was walking distance to the Caroline Bay Playground and beach. The beds were extremely comfortable. La voie ferrée est en contrebas de la location mais peu de train cependant.

Had to pay a surcharge on arrival for the dogs, which wasn't disclosed on Booking.Com when the Booking was made. Owners pit bull attacked one of dogs as we were leaving. Lots of signs in the villa on what not to do. There is railway line next to the complex. No direct access to the beach, via public access to Caroline Bay Villa is showing ware and tear.

- Christopher (8/5): A VERY GOOD STAY - The room had an excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities. It was also large and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of the main beach area, some restaurants and bars, and Timaru's main street. The beach is a 1200m walk from the elevated Piazza. Parking is a little tight but accessible. The Motel is on the busy route 1 so a little noisy during the day, much less so at night. Value was very good. Nothing
