The kids had so much fun. Only thing I could say is maybe print out a how to for the stove. I kept burning my food cause I didn't understand how to use the hot plate stove.

- Emilia (9/5): Next time we’ll - We enjoyed the space and the patio area. The fire pit was our favorite part. The parking situation was so convenient, and the separate tvs in the living area and the master bedroom were very nice. The beds were really hard; My kids had a difficult time falling asleep and my husband and I woke up with neck and back pain. More pillows would have been nice but overall the stay was comfortable. We stayed for two days, on the second day the accent solar lighting on the patio stopped working. We don’t know why, and the people in the office couldn’t tell us why either.

I had to drive around in the dark asking for help and then the person at the gas station who check me in couldn’t tell me how to get to my room. Did not seem oriented to customer experience.

The most wonderful gentleman named Richard Hill was so gracious and professional when he called me personally, reaching out to go above and beyond to make sure we had the most beautiful visit. The cabin was amazing- we wanted to bring the whole thing home with us. So clean and cozy with private deck and fire pit and bbq. We didn’t want to leave the cabin! Got a great meal at the restaurant to bring back to the cozy cabin, and of course a selection of sinful munchies from the fruit stand. The beds are clean, cozy and comfortable with premium bedding. The decor simple, rustic, clean and charming. The ladies in the office are so kind, personable and hospitable. We felt like we were coming home! We look forward to our next visit. And we highly recommend the whole property, which is undergoing major renovation to be even more impressive than it already is! The Inn, Cabins, and Campground would be an awesome place for groups, such as family reunions, etc. Thanks again to our favorite place, Casa de Fruta for providing us with a wonderful memory 💝

- Chelsea (1/5): Aggressive, micro managed, immature and the worst hospitality manager I have witnessed. - Beautiful property, but doesn't make horrible hospitality. It really changed the whole entire experience. We were followed as soon as we got checked in while having friends help us unload, being told we were not following rules. We were not given two minutes until they followed us to where we were staying. I appreciate the one kind lady who tried to communicate to me as a person, thank you. I felt that the manager unfortunately ruined everything we could have liked for our engagement celebration. HOSPITALITY! It would made all of the difference for us. From the moment my fiance tried to check in, we were told that we were "breaking rules" and they were letting a lot slide. My fiance had to wait over an hour to check in because I wasn't there even though it was his card on file that paid. And he also had my I.D. and I even tried to call and put his name on the reservation so he could get ready for our engagement. I was told the manager, Natalia, would not let this happen and this is not normal for other to check in there is a different name on the reservation. To which, this has never been my experience, nor any of my guests who checked in at any hotel. Once we checked in they followed us to our cabin and said we are breaking rules by having too many people and cars (people were helping us unload). We did not even receive the key when checked in we had to go back and get it. And when a customer brought them a dying bird, they said "we can't deal with that right now, we have an emergency". You'll never guess but we were the emergency in an empty parking lot unloading stuff into the cabin and guests hadn't checked in yet. (Mind you we were all already running late due not being able to check at our check in time). Natalia explained she followed us because she "was worried we're not understanding the rules". To which I said she was making me feel ver uncomfortable with the way she was speaking to me and she said that I was rude and she'll talk to my fiance who is very nice (he is nice, thank you for that. I chose a good one). She kept reiterating that she wanted people to sign in for the $10 per extra guest. Which was understood. Again, we had two extra people who hadn't signed in yet helping us unload. Unfortunately, what continued was a very unprofessional and immature conversation on the manager Natalia's part. Her co worker beside her was very kind to me and I appreciate that.

- Lisa (4/5): - We loved everything about Casa De Fruta. We booked a room at the Inn, had a nice dinner and shopped for wonderful treats. However, we sadly had to pack up and leave at 7:30 pm the same day we checked in, because the carpet in the room was so filthy and smelled so bad. So we made the long trip home 😢 I will say that the staff was wonderful and let us check in an hour early and were so friendly. The room was otherwise very clean, nice shower, bed seemed comfortable. We enjoyed strolling around relaxing. If the carpet was removed I would stay again in a heartbeat. It was such a bummer to have to pack up and leave because of the foul odor.

- Danielle (10/5): A great place to stay - We have stayed here before in their main two queen beds room which was really nice and clean. This time apparently there was a glitch in the system and the room we rented was unavailable. The staff upgraded us to one of their cabins at no additional cost. The cabin was awesome. You’re surrounded by wood. Full kitchen completely stocked. Nice comfortable beds Very clean inside and out. The cabin felt brand new. The whole area was quiet and we all had the best night sleep. We plan on staying here again, but now that we’re spoiled we’ll have to rent a cabin.

Some staff pleasant, some had sour/unfriendly attitudes.
- Megumi (10/5): Perfect family getaway or road trip stop - This was a perfect stop for our big family! The cozy cabin was clean and cute, everyone was super friendly, and our kids loved all of the activities. It was a fabulous stay on our California road trip.
- Kimberly (2/5): - When I was booking, I have a party of 4, I had to purchase 2 rooms.my sister who choose this location said there was in fact a room available to accommodate 4. I went back to look for it and again it only offered the same. So I went ahead and purchased the two rooms. 1. We were all the way across the building from each other. 2. The stated “cabin” was not a cabin. 3. One room the blinds were broken had to close each slate one by one. 4. Found a roach in one of the rooms. 5. Same room as the roach no hot water, could not take a shower. 6. The shower curtain has pink mold on the bottom. Black mold was in spots in the shower. 7. The TV was not clear, was fuzzy. 8. The small coffee pot was in the bathroom where people poop and for sure in need of a good cleaning as it had white scale where you would put the water. 9. Bed was lumpy pillow was oversized and not comfortable. 10. Directions was not informative. Said we need to go to area 4 which infact was 5. 11. The gas station where we ended up having to check in, was way overpriced. 2 waters 1 bubble water a bag of cheesits was 25.00. 12. My sister who was lucky enough to get a double room that again was offered to her was told when we checked in that they didn’t know we were together but my 2 rooms was booked under the same itinerary with the same credit card. Would not recommend will never stay here ever again. Not worth taking pictures. When we told the lady at the desk the only thing she said was Oh I’m sorry.

We were having a hard time finding which part of the property the Inn was on (the place is huge, with like 3 or 4 parking lots). We had to call for clearer instructions & the woman I spoke to was awesome. They had a lot to offer & we would have loved to have had the time to take advantage of it all, especially the pool, but unfortunately we were just stopping through. The shower pressure in our room was amazing & the bathroom was huge. Everything was clean— we would stay there again. :) We wish the bed had been more comfy, but it wasn't that bad. Unfortunately, we are hard to please in that area. My husband likes a really soft mattress & I like it a bit firmer, but this bed was even firm for my own preference.

Nothing that we didn't like, just improve... we left for 15 or so minutes to get coffee before check out and when we got back a work truck was in our spot even though most of the lot was empty and they were doing work on the room next to ours and were in our yard. It was very loud. I understand there's only 4 hours to turn over the rooms and fix things in between guests. It was just a bummer our last couple of hours were very noisy and we didn't have privacy. It still didn't impact our stay too much.

The only observation I made was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, which also disrupted the TV signal. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay.

- Ella (7/5): It was a nice "oasis" after having been on highways for many hours. - Breakfast was excellent and our waitress (sorry, I don't recall her name) was very attentive and friendly. We were disappointed that the pool was not open yet and even though umbrellas had been set up there were NO outside chairs for enjoying some sunshine at the pool or even outside our room at the Inn. We were told that was scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.

We recommend the pomegranate and mango wine. The ice cream was tastey. We checked in after hours and were able to get our room key at the Chevron. We recommend it and will stay again.

The staff was also great, especially our server at breakfast with whom we shared questions and chat. The grounds were great for walking and the farm equipment display was so interesting. It was hard to find where to check-in for the inn.
