Lady at the desk was so friendly and her puppy was super cute. I know this will be controversal, but having to walk up to the smoking area each time. I totally get that it is for the comfort of other guests so all in all is not a big deal.

- Denise (6/5): Disappointed - Room was spacious and clean and the motel was perfectly adequate The amount of do’s and don’ts on notices and in emails was very off putting. I also did not appreciate “Housekeeping “ knocking at the door at 9.00am to service the room on Good Friday morning. I am sure they just wanted to finish up and go home however it was not acceptable.

- Gail (8/5): Pleasant accomodation in a good location. - Easy check-in and out. Room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Location was good. Nothing specific that we can complain about. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but this was due to refurbishment. Hopefully it will be open if we stay again.

- Dwight (5/5): No how I remembered it from previous stays - Door problems, once you got the swipe card to work on the front door it required a swat team style shoulder ramming to open it. The shower screen didn’t close properly which ment the water went everywhere on the bathroom floor. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner and didn’t open till 9am for breakfast at least 2 hours after most people who are travelling or working have left for the day.

Unfortunately the cleanliness and poor maintenance of the bathroom in our unit (No. 1) really let this motel down. The bathroom door would not close and all corners were dirty and/or mouldy. A bit more attention to cleaning and maintenance would lift the rating substantially.

Rude and unhelpful customer service when we wanted refund. - This place cancelled one of our bookings which we made weeks ago, two days before checkin due to overbooking. When we called to organise a refund the owner was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Would not recommend dealing with him or his establishment.
- Shirin (7/5): Great location for an overnight stay. - I liked that we had 2 beds and it was close to the Hunter River and shopping mall. Parking in front of the apartment was convenient. Beds were quite comfortable with is a big bonus! Sun chair or seats by the pool area would be great.

- anthony (5/5): nice hotel. shame about the bowls group - location, room layout group of around 10-15 guests who were staying for a bowls tournament set up in the pool area complete with eskies and copious amounts of alcohol and partied late into the night despite repeated requests from the management to be quiet. the following morning then decided to congregate outside our room from 6.30am discussing their previous nights exploits with total disregard for all other guests. these people were local to the area and stayed at the hotel so they could drink and not drive. the hotel itself was good but the experience was disappointing because of these actions
