David (6/5): Convenient to Monkey Mia - Hotel Food was good quality Carpet and bathrooms need a good refurbish showers have good pressure Our first room before relocation 8 had an internal door which was not soundproof owing to the large gap underneath the door we could hear everything that our next door neighbour was saying and doing! 2nd room no internal door so was good.

Nice view of the bay and the sunsets and close to all the bars and restaurants The decor is a little old, and the beds were not that comfortable and kept moving. The housekeeping missed restocking water bottles and sweeping some of the carpets.

Breakfast was awful very poor quality much better to go out to local cafes. Don't rely on the wifi if thar is important to you not good here. Shark Bay is definitely worth a visit beautiful but don't think I would stay again in this hotel.

The fan in the bathroom was clogged with dirt. The floor was dirty. Exterior of the property is falling apart. Definitely overrated and photos are misleading.

Emilie (2/5): Disappointing Rip Off - Location This property needs a lot of TLC. The first thing we did upon check in is go to the shop to buy cleaning chemicals. The windows had not been cleaned in a very long time leaving the beautiful view unseeable, the carpet had not been vacuumed, the bed sheets had stains and the toilet was not clean. The whole property could do with a good clean including a blow down of corridors outside -as there was dust dirt and leafs from plants. We thought we were booking somewhere fancy that we could unwind and relax unfortunately this was the opposite

chris (7/5): - The room itself was very nice and quite we paid the most for this hotel of our total 1 month trip but it was the poorest. The room was good and the local restaurant was outstanding but other things were less good. The pool was filthy. we did swim in it once was only one. The restaurant food was very 'pub' like. No breakfast facilities and everything in town was closed. we travelled each day to Monkey Mia which was incredible. When I tried to cancel one our nights here they wouldn't let me so we just paid extra to stay at Monkey Mia RAC site.

View from our top floor room was very good but had to leave balcony door open to see anything. Dining facilities in their pub attached to hotel was also very good. Plenty to see around the area including Monkey Mia being only 30km drive. Nothing negative

Off season visit to denham is probably not recommended, very quite not much open.

A little window with only half glass coming out of the bathroom straight onto a staircase was a bit of a privacy issue. And for light sleepers - the doors were not well soundproofed so it was pretty noisy during a (very)windy night. Not a major thing though.

Nevan (2/5): - Disgusted. Booked an “oceanside” room with a balcony and got a room out the back with a view of the backyard. When I went back the Philipino reception lady said “but you can see the ocean from your balcony” $207 ! I could have stayed at the pub for $117 and got a better view. They also wanted my phone/email/address/credit card and car registration. I arrived by plane and there is non taxi in town and they would not pick me up the 4km so I had to hire a car costing $200 even though they advertise a 24hr Airport Shuttle. Then to top it off the power went out from 6pm 1am so couldnt charge my phone, then the power came on and woke everybody up. Expedia has all my information. The demanding of my personal info is completely unnecessary and probably just wanted for marketing. I hope Expedia removes them from their list. Please see my Google review for photos.

Good choice if you cannot book Monkey Mia resort because it was only 20 minutes away Rooms were horrible. It’s dark and humid probably because it’s located in the middle of ground floor and surrounded by other rooms and the pool. Beds had lopsided springs that sagged unevenly so you slided when sleeping on it. It’s not clean either mugs got leftover for whatever that’s been used for previously. Bedding were stained.

We couldn’t use the outdoor space as it was very windy while we were there but that really made us aware of the comfortable indoors. Also easy to get to Monkey Mia and Francois Peron National Park. Has a large Pub / restaurant / bottle shop on site.

Shelley (7/5): It’s ok - Location to Monkey Mia The aircon did not work very well even on high. There were no plates or cutlery in the kitchen. The restaurant kitchen closed at 2 and there was only IGA open to get something to eat.
Daniel (1/5): I would not stay in this resort amazing options in Kalbarri - The rooms were extremely dark and poorly maintained. There was water running through the apartment and outside in the stairwell.

John (5/5): convenient to visit Monkey Mia if no accomodation at RAC resort is available. - Easy to locate and plenty of parking right on the sea front. only 20mins to Monkey Mia. The bar was good and so was the food. Staff friendly. The property was tired, dated and requires a lot of investment. Room was clean, bed comfortable although the door to balcony fell off, No access to upper floors for disabled or any with mobility issues. didn't see a lift. the pool floor was covered in gren algea. Not many other people seem to be staying there.

Suzanne (4/5): Disappointing - Not alot. Arriving at reception with a greeting off.. We're not expecting anyone today! With a unfriendly and unhelpful greeting I had to give my phone to the receptionist for her to check my details ! 5 minutes later she calls out my full name...Yes, that's me! No apology, just a 'check in is 3pm' no information given on hotel facilities/location. The worst check in in my 6 week stay in Australia and, probably ever, having travelled alot this hotel doesn't understand that it's a hotel and customers are their lifeline. We stayed 2 nights, on day 2 our room wasn't fully serviced, the bed WASN'T made, but fresh towels were left. Is this standard?? With half used shower amenities. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment and updating. Relying on the fact there are limited options for accommodation in the area, is very disappointing. Customers should come first, then the profit will follow.
Han101 (5/5): Decent - Location was great, right on the shorefront & close to amenities. One large family in the hotel were very loud & hogged the pool which was a bit annoying & they do not clean rooms on weekends.

James R (4/5): - We found the king bed tended to tip the person on the side nearest the wall out to the side, as its two singles pushed together basically. Noisy in terms of other guests opening and closing doors and talking. A can, or similar, was being blown around in the wind and bouncing off walls - perhaps more care needs to be taken to secure loose objects when strong winds are likely.
