Guest Reviews
- Patrick (10/5): - No Breakfast No TV
- Chris (10/5): - Loved the Crew’s Quarter! It was my first time in P-Town and I can’t emphasize how great staying here was. You’re right in the middle of all the action and the property itself is so well decorated and maintained. I loved their happy hour and got to socialize with other guests as well as some locals. The staff was great, shoutout to Kurt who was so welcoming and friendly. Just keep in mind it’s close quarters at the crews quarter! If communal bathrooms aren’t your thing, or you require tons of room, maybe not for you.

- Russell (6/5): Great location and friendly - Great location and Stuart the owner was very friendly. Old building and the floors were on a slope, even the bed was on a sloping angle. Was a bit unsettling. Quite noisy until about midnight. Didn’t bother new but my friend struggled to sleep in his room
- Michael (10/5): -

- Steve (10/5): - We are planing to go back again.
- Alex (10/5): - Charm and staff
- Gerald (10/5): Solo guy who made a great collection of new friends - Very comfortable and friendly, especially the evening speakeasy No concerns
- Daniel (10/5): Great place to stay in central location with cool vibes and decor. - The decor and vibe is awesome. Wish I could replicate it in my own place. So much attention to every little detail. Nothing
- Croke (10/5): Great place, location, value, staff; loved it all. - I loved the vintage vibe; dark and broody, if not masculine decor, with a playful and inconspicuous atmosphere. The staff, Kurt, was exceptionally friendly, prompt, and helpful. There was AC in my room and it worked very well.

- Xiaogang (10/5): - Great place - perfect for.budget/solo travelers in Ptown. Staff are very friendly and efficient. And guests are cool.
- Remo (9/5): -
- George (10/5): The third time was definitely a charm!!! Perfection!! - It was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. And it is centrally located to everything that makes Provincetown the perfect vacation destination. There wasn’t anything that I would change.
- Enzo (10/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - The Crews Quarters was recommended to me by the Revere Inn owner. I needed an extra night stay in town. It was too much fun. The best location and the owner and staff are very accommodating. Friday night the lobby was and the upstairs deck had great energy.
The shared showers at first seemed a challenge for me as I am seriously shy.
It was easy and really plays into the vibe of the Crews Quarters. I am definitely gonna stay again.
- Martine (8/5): -
- Simon (10/5): -
- Austin (10/5): Truly a special place - Such a unique and thoughtful space. Location is superb and you will not forget your stay. Even movies shown on a neighboring building in the evening. If you see availability, book quick.
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Collin (10/5): Perfect for solo travelers; easy to make friends, great location, decent pricing, friendly people. - Great location; friendly, down-to-earth staff & owner; excellent overall atmosphere - it was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for during a trip to Ptown. Plus, the owner's done an excellent job renovating the property to make it feel like the 1950s gay boardinghouse it once might've (or could've) been. I don't really have any complaints. As a solo traveler, I found it easy to make friends at the bar (or on the patio, or in the bathroom) here. All the facilities were clean, and I never felt unsafe.
- Paul (10/5): - The staff was very kind and helpful. Fun location!
- Philip (10/5): Very decent find in town center - This was a very decent find in a crowded market - everywhere I’ve stayed in Provincetown has small rooms, but this was clean, cool and comfortable. I found it quiet, I didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff but when I did they were lovely, and its central location is fantastic!
- Callahan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stanley (10/5): - Let's just say that as a lone daddy bear 1st time Bear Week attendee, Crew's Quarters was a great experience. Roberto, Curt & Stewart have created a sexy atmospheruc vibe! I'd have No problem staying for a 2nd visit.
- Ian (10/5): Came to P-Town for the first time, and now we know where we’ll be staying everytime we come in the future. The property - Literally everything! The room was great, the staff were amazing, and the overall vibe of the property was perfect! N/A
- Luis (10/5): Beautiful sailors-themed house - The house was beautiful, it had a really nice 1940s-50s decor and theme. I got a room for two with a full size bed, and it was enough for both of us. The front desk manager Kurt was super helpful and gracious. Shared restrooms were always clean and never felt crowded (even during the buys 4th of July weekend). I would definitely stay here again on my next Ptown visit.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Crew’s Quarters offers great accommodations for couples and solo travelers alike. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are cozy and the decor throughout the space is outstanding. My room did get a little warm, but not unbearable. The drinks at the bar are fantastic! I recommend getting some drinks and enjoying them from the second floor outdoor lounge.
- Stephen (10/5): beyond expectations - thank you for a nice stay and the extended hours today. it was a godsend. -Steve
- Kevin (10/5): Wonderful Time in Provincetown at The Crew's Quarters Boarding House! - We had a wonderful stay! Kurt made us feel very welcome and helped us with an early check-in, providing information about Provincetown, and also made wonderful cocktails at the Crew's Quarters Bar in the evening. We look forward to our next stay at Crew's Quarters Boarding House soon!
- Patrik (10/5): - Amazing staff
- Peter (8/5): Worth it for travelers on a budget due to the great location in the center of everything. - Charming old guest house with a cool retro vibe. I liked the Happy Hour even though I think two free drinks as opposed to one would have been fair based on the price of the room. Place was very clean and well maintained. Great location! Room is very small and I wish it had more light.
- Craig (8/5): - Location, price
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Trent (10/5): Great accommodations with the Men in the perfect location! - I loved the ambiance, cleanliness, and camaraderie of the house. I wasn’t able to stay longer. I enjoyed this place.
- Mossi (8/5): Unique and friendly place to stay and visit while in Ptown - Historic architectural value and attentive owner / staff: Stewart and David Cramped quarters but that’s expected given its historic build out
- George (10/5): Another Memorable Moment in PTown History - It had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. You get an immediate feeling of nostalgia. There were wonderful accent pieces throughout the house to add to its old world charm appeal. The Crew’s Quarters is a great deal for the money. And you cannot beat the location!!
- Lashley (9/5): Superb - Clean, centrally located friendly staff, No a/c
- Gary (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrey (9/5): Can’t wait to stay there again later this month! - In the CENTER of all P-town has to offer. You can even walk to the beach if you don’t want to rent a bike. Price is relatively affordable, though nothing in P-town is cheap
Staff is super amazing, even gave me a free drink As expected, with the excellent location and price, the size of the room is only slightly bigger than a shoe box, but again this is New England and that’s to be expected
- Evan (7/5): Good -
- Simon (8/5): Very cute - A cute friendly place boarding house style place.
- Andrew (10/5): The owner Stuart and employee David were absolutely lovely and very helpful at every turn. For comfort, value, and perfe - I enjoyed the communal aspect of things, a reception that turned into a bar in the evening where folks staying would gather and a large porch to people-watch from. I also loved the nautical theme. Sometimes the noise level from the street became a little loud and the introduction of AC would be a welcome addition, though I knew these things going in.
- Louis (1/5): Bad -
- David (10/5): Cool aesthetic, great for single men who are open to meeting and socializing - Great decor, excellent location, no AC wasn’t an issue, and the new windows kept out any late night noise from Spiritus next door! Liked the shared bathroom, overall on the 3rd floor, but the shared toilet without a faucet/sink inside was sometimes challenging.
- Jordan (10/5): Set Sail for Style: Crews Quarters Hits High Marks - Crews Quarters in Provincetown is truly exceptional. The attention to detail is outstanding, making it one of the best places I've experienced. It’s an absolute delight, especially for anyone with a sensibility for good hospitality and design.
St*art has a remarkable talent for crafting a space with a distinct T0m of Finland flair. The decor and ambiance celebrate iconic gay culture with a high level of sophistication and style.
My room had a fully dressed, comfortable bed, and was complemented by cheeky touches that were both playful and tantalizing. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and memorable stay.
- Frederik (10/5): - Good
- Dionisi (10/5): Great time at the Crew’s Quarters, I will definitely return - Great location the place looked amazing and the staff were very friendly Should be aware there is no air-conditioning in the rooms, but I found it quite comfortable
- Dario (6/5): Crew quarters has great friendly staff, fun guests but could be improved with AC. - Well appointed renovated property. Loved the staff and recently renovated property. Lots of amenities such as fresh towels , soaps, etc. Although there are fans there is no AC. Rooms can be warm to hot during the day. Rooms will cool down at night but takes time.
- Bobby (10/5): Not too many elderly men - Location was fantastic and Improved the breakfast Nothing, better to add some entertainment and fun thinks
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Awesome location, awesome staff, awesome experience!
- Matthew (10/5): - We had such a great stay and will definitely be back! Loved getting to meet and make friends with the other guys staying at the same time as us.
- Timothy (10/5): - As with any good experience at a hotel, the staff can make that happen. David and staff, go above an beyond to ensure a great stay.
- John (9/5): Met my expectations made for an enjoyable stay - Breakfast n/a. Convenient to everything. Staff-David and Andrew were excellent-very welcoming and helpful. They were great resources for information on events, directions and restaurants in the area. Fellow guests friendly as well. Only had one issue- the stairs but that was resolved by accessing the top floor through the patio rather than the internal top set of stairs. Crews Quarters doesn’t have a lot of the frills that some of the other hotels have (pool, restaurant) but I knew that in advance and was satisfied with the choices of restaurants within walking distance and the variety of beaches in the near vicinity. Had an enjoyable stay which met my needs and would come back again.
- Kev (10/5): An excellent stay to supplement the PTown sleaze, great vibe, excellent location. - The cruisy themed vibe, the staff and the location: excellent. Just a little bit dark n small.
- Daniel (10/5): - The place is conveniently located on a corner of Commercial Street, right in the heart of everything, which was so convenient to walk everywhere we wanted. Upon arriving, we were greeted promptly and they gave us early check in for a small fee because we arrived early. They gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room. They were so friendly the entire stay.
As for the rooms and facilities, they keep it very tidy and the communal bathrooms were always kept very clean. We loved the atmosphere of the house. Everyone staying here was super friendly. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to visit.
- Zach (9/5): Superb -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional - The location was close to everything The steps going up were a tad bit narrow
- Robert (10/5): Booked a return trip for next month, unfortunately they didn’t have any available rooms. - The owner and staff were all about making the guest happy. Location is dead center of all the great things going on. Loved it all
- Todd (10/5): - Had a blast!
- Phil (10/5): I absolutely love this place and which its owner could design more spaces in Provincetown. - Crews Quarters is almost directly in the center of town, in a prime location on Commercial Street and just down Carver from the equally exemplary Vifford House. Probably a 10-12 minute walk from the ferry terminal?
It is beautiful. Meticulously designed. Thoughtful. Its decor is decidedly masculine, European — but cozy, inviting, sexy. The rooms are small but gorgeous. Hard wood, antique photography, warm and muddy lighting; the comfort level is through the roof.
The bathrooms are gorgeous, well supplied with skin care products, and mid evoking. The shared shower stall is sexy as hell, tho a surprise if you’re not prepared for it.
The entire place is a vibe — masculine, sexy, evocative. Literally, almost nothing. Folks who want large rooms may not enjoy the tight spaces but beyond that, I don’t have a negative thing to say.
- Bob (8/5): - The place has never looked better.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Bob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andre (10/5): - I have a wonderful stay at Crew's. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My single room was perfect size for one person. There were plenty of shared bathrooms. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Capricorn420 (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Wonderfully convenient and comfortable at a reasonable and affordable rate. - Clean, convenient and super hospitable staff. There was a fire/smoke alarm system problem in my room one night but it was resolved immediately or I was going to be moved to a new room.
- Chaznyc (10/5): A men's sanctuary in the middle of P-Town! - Located in the heart of P-Town, steps from EVERYTHING. The new décor is fantastic! Loved the fireplace in the lounge and the classic bar! Our hosts were delightful. Water pressure/temperature in the showers was lacking at times of heavy use. Probably not much they can do about this, but on the middle floor, shower on the right seems to be 100% hot only. Not handicapped accessible (but, then again, what is in a very old historical town?)
- John (8/5): Quirky, offbeat, and charming, but definitely not for everyone. - The location is terrific. Crew’s Quarters has a semi-cruisy vibe, and the decor recalls a sexy sailor bordello without becoming cheap or trashy. Single rooms can be TINY, and sometimes don’t have a dresser, which means there’s no place besides a closet for your clothes. The bathroom is dimly lit at night, and so are the rooms
- Timothy (10/5): A Gay retreat that more than met my expectations - Location is central to most of Ptown. Charming old building with retro naval/sailor decore. My snug single room was very comfortable with enough space on a small desk to get work done. Quality amenities and modern bathroom. Since I had booked a shared bath, i appreciated that the toilet, shower, and sink were separated, so sevetal men could use them at a time. Great choice of music ar the lobby bar. Friendly staff. A great gay men retreat and one I would return to!
- Thomas (9/5): Very enjoyable! - Great central location on Commercial Street, Provincetown. The one host is very friendly, the other host very distant! Not engaging at all. It was difficult finding someone at the front desk: I never did find out the Wi-Fi password & the distant host had no idea what it was!?
- James (10/5): - This was one more delightful visit at my home base in Provincetown, a guaranteed good time. Thanks to owner Stuart, GM David, and head of housekeeping Will, the place gets stronger all the time. For reasonable prices - lower than at almost any guest house in P'town - we get an ideal location, myriad social opportunities, cozy accommodations, fun framed photographs of athletic young men from the '40s and '50s as well as vintage men's grooming items on display in the bathrooms, groovy music and a fun nightly bar scene in the lobby, and an overall atmosphere of organization and efficiency. CQ is a Provincetown gem and I will return always.
- Thomas (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - Great location, very comfortable bed Nothings
- John (7/5): Great location but hot rooms - Staff A+ deluxe, great location! No AC in room...room was hot
- David (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay and met some wonderful people!
- Kennedy (8/5): I enjoyed my stay and will return. - Location, cleanliness, staff, historical story Water pressure when multiple showers we’re operating.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good - The design of the entire facility is really fantastic. Strong boutique hotel feel while leaning into the roots of the venue. the beds were made well with good linens but the bed itself was not great.
- Mark (9/5): Loved it! - Great location, old world style hotel with friendly staff Room could have been a little larger
- Blair (9/5): Superb - Great location and clean facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Guests were friendly and made new friends while travelling.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): - Crew's Quarters is at its best under its current ownership, and my recent stay there, like my previous three, was a complete pleasure. Owner Stuart is charming and fun and has transformed the look and spirit of the place for the better. It is well-organized, professionally run, affordable, clean, and attractive, and the nautical theme is amusingly employed all over the hotel. David, the current innkeeper, is warm and friendly and extremely efficient; Will, the head of housekeeping, does a first-rate job. The lobby becomes a nightly bar populated with interesting guys. The social possibilities of CQ are as rich as ever, and the location is ideal. I love the place and recommend it highly.
- Tim (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The shared bathroom reminded me some of my college days.
Things to consider, there is no A/C and no parking area. If you are prepared to deal with this, then you will really enjoy this location, I know I did!
- Donald (8/5): Very good - The staff was wonderful as is the location. No maid service. Stayed 8 nights yet no maid service to include no sheet change out, no trash removal, no towel service.
- Ross (10/5): Great For Solo Traveler - Booked a solo long weekend here last minute for bear week. Had a standard room with a comfortable queen bed. Shared bathroom across the hall was always clean and never occupied when I needed it. This place does not have AC but with the windows open, the ceiling fan and desk fan on high, and the right amount of alcohol and dancing, I found it comfortable enough for sleep… and I found a hottie nearby with AC for the one of the really hot nights.
Staff were very nice and accommodating and the other guests were all friendly and pleasant. The outdoor area and lobby were great areas to meet and chat with other guys.
It’s a boarding house and an older building, but it’s clean, comfortable and with a lot of charm and new paint! Would definitely stay here again when traveling solo.
- dale (8/5): Bear week - Comfortable. Able to meet others, staff very accommodating
- Stanley (10/5): - The entire boarding house was like stepping back into the 1940’s. Beautifully decorated rooms like nowhere else. Right in the center of action but still quiet. Can’t wait to return next year.
- Devonta (8/5): I was treated nicely. The staff and other guest were polite. I would stay here again for sure. - The staff were very accommodating. The location is excellent to get from one place to another.
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Lawrence (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (10/5): - Had a very enjoyable stay at Crew's Quarters for Holly Folly weekend. I look forward to staying again
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The temperature in this place was super hot. I don’t know if there was an issue with the heat, but I hope they figure it out. It made it very difficult to be inside.
- Robert (10/5): - Great location. Really more of a crash pad with basic rooms and that was just fine with me.
