- Valeriia (10/5): I would recommend the place to stay - it has a wonderful view of the bay and a unique history of the building. Think twi - I liked the building since it has a history itself. There are some historical items in the hotel such as books where the stuff kept records of the guests from 1957. There are some pieces of furniture from those times. The hotel has it owns unique atmosphere. Everything is fine - bed, AC, shower, the staff. There are no pedestrian pathways around the location. It is hard to move around without a car. However, there is a bus stop in 50 meters from the hotel which operates every 20 minutes.

- Simon (8/5): Wonderful views - Fantastic location away from the busy Sorrento streets. Beautiful views across the bay. Regular bus service into town. Friendly helpful staff. Great value for the area. I should have booked a room with a balcony. Breakfast and dinner options seemed limited but perhaps impacted by the season. I also accept this is a 3star hotel. There are other options in the area.

O quarto era bem confortável também O café da manhã é fraco e no domingo não tem como jantar porque é o dia off do chef, se quiser comprar comida de fora e levar pro hotel precisa comer no quarto. Importante ter em mente também que eles cobram a taxa de turismo separado no check out e precisa ser dinheiro em espécie

- SAMUEL ANDRE (9/5): Excellent place, staff and stay! Highly recommended - The staff was amazing and super friendly from the moment we arrived to when we left. They provided several recommendations of things to do, helped us booking trips and even called a shuttle to go to a restaurant for a dinner. The room had a nice view of the ocean with great sunsets every day. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The hotel is located close to a bus stop that takes only 10 min to be in Sorrento centro. Excellent stay and would recommend and return another time. Could have scrambled eggs as a breakfast option as well.

- Mary Ann (10/5): Would love to be able to go back there again - The staff was lovely. I wish I could remember all their names. I remember wonderful Tina, Jose, Louisa, the young waiter who was going away to the University and all the other wait staff. Housekeeping, EVERYONE who worked the front desk, I think the breakfast was more than satisfying too. I sure wish taxis weren’t so $$ , but that’s not Hotel Dania’s fault, plus the bus stop to town etc is steps away. All was great! Steps. But there is an elevator to room.

- Annie (10/5): - Our stay was exceptional! The service of the reception/hotel staff was incredible, they went above and beyond during our stay and were very knowledgeable. The hotel was a 4-5 minute walk from a mini mart and bus stop and it was very easy to access the main square and marinas by bus for outings. The hotel restaurant also had great food and service - we ended up dining there most nights. Will be back without a doubt!!

- ALFREDO FABIAN (9/5): - Impecable el hotel, muy agradable (incluso hasta para caminar x dentro) ya q está decorado con cuadros, esculturas y pinturas...el personal habla varios idiomas, muy atentos y responden todas las consultas con mucho atino y sinceridad. Contraté un tour directamente desde allí (hacia Capri) y fue un éxito absoluto, tmb pude coordinar mi salida (hacia el aeropuerto d Napoles) sin ningún problema, la zona d desayuno es amplia, limpia y con hermosas vistas hacia el mar. La zona d piscina y terraza tiene muy buena orientación del sol, x lo q es posible disfrutar d ello todo el día...la habitación fue lo mejor, y su vista q me permitió apreciar el atardecer, y maravillarme al contemplar con claridad la caída del sol detrás del mar...en resumen: he tenido una estadía magnífica! Poca variedad en el bar...solo snacks.

Letto doppio messo in modo posticcio adibito a matrimoniale. La mattina ero nel buco dei due materassi. Il bagno rilasciava un vivissimo prete di fognatura. Nonostante mi sia lamentato alla reception non c’è stata alcuna proposta di soluzione. Due notti da dimenticare.

- Rod (10/5): Relaxing and picturesque in a gem of a hotel. - Clean, bright and uplifting vibe set amongst olive groves with spectacular views of the contryside, the sea and passing vessels, all with a backdrop of the islands and Naples. Amazing sunsets!!! Staff were so helpful and friendly. The managers; Tina and Monica went out there way to help me arrange a Dr to see my wife and Tina even helped with some interpreter services during the consultation. Absolutely made our holiday at a time where we had had a disappointing experience with the b&b we were supposed to have been in but chose to move out. Will recommend this hotel to everyone going to Sorrento. Absolutely nothing

Traumhafter Sonnenunter auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf Ischia. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Tolle Vorschläge mildem Boot nach Capri und Amalfi. Man wird direkt am Hotel abgeholt. Ein echter Cappuccino auf der Maschine wäre angebracht. Leider nur Automat.

Is about 2 min walk to bus stop to main atraccions also a nice little store near by where you can buy the bus tickets and save money aldo very nice peopleat the store. They need to provide a microwave because there is not a restaurants near by and therenis no way to warm up leftovers. Also the breakfast ladies where not very nice. Be careful walking to the bus there is barely any sidewalk. No iron either and bring your own washcloth.

- Clare (10/5): Excellent location , beautiful hotel - Property on a hill with amazing views and a sunset that will blow your mind .. hotel is clean spacious , staff lovely and got a 3 star I’d say that’s under rated .. walk into town takes around 20 mins or the bus stop is 3 mins down road number 8 straight to centre . We had good breakfast yes continental but had eggs , pastries , cheeses , cereals etc . We ate dinner once it was lovely i had ravioli , bar open until 11pm , pool was cold but a welcome dip after the heat and going on trips it was lovely , I would stay again at this hotel x Pool cold but not really a problem , the beds are very firm and the pillows , however I asked for another pillow and it was put in the room no problem.

- clarebY2119UW (10/5): Lovely hotel with amazing views - This hotel is a 3 star and to be honest it seemed more than that . At the top of the hill Into town it’s a perfect location for anyone who loves views and taking photos . It’s out of the hustle and bustle but yet a 20 min walk down it 30 min walk back up ! You do need to keep single file as no pavement but it’s absolutely ok we walked it a number of times . The bus stop is 3 mins walk away and that is 2 euros into town : tip : get a ticket from the sandwich shop on the corner and it’s 1.50 euros into town. The sandwich shop is the best sandwich you will eat in Sorrento I guarantee ! The hotel Dania’s reception staff ( Tina ) is just lovely , as are the other staff and the pool bar staff . Pool is beautiful but quite cold however once I got in it was fine ! The room was lovely we didn’t have a balcony but it had air conditioning and window was large and bright . Bathroom was fine and was cleaned daily . Breakfast was plentiful for continental they had eggs but only scrambled eggs or hard boiled . Plenty of pastries , meats , cheese , bread etc The hotel is spotless and the location was just perfect for us , in town it’s very busy and can seem sometimes a bit too much but here is just lovely . We ate here one night and I had the most amazing ravioli , the bar stays open until 11pm 😊 We would definitely come back to hotel dania if we return to Sorrento . X

Walking distance to the center of Sorrento with restaurants, Bus shuttles to downtown center is also possible. Friendly and service minded staff. Good breakfast buffet, Nothing not to like.

- Andrea (10/5): Lugar aconchegante e funcionários nota 10! - Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos. O quarto estava muito limpo, tinha varanda e uma vista linda. O café da manhã foi bem completo, com muitos itens doces, mas também com queijo, presunto e ovo. A comida do restaurante também é boa e o preço é justo. O wi-fi estava um pouco instável. O barulho da descarga e chuveiro do quarto ao lado é bem alto e me acordava pela manhã.

- Judith (8/5): We really enjoyed it. But it's far out of town - This is a lovely little hotel. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet area of Sorrento and is clean. The view is nice and the rooms are comfortable. This is not a criticism, just to inform that it is far out of the center. To get to the center, you have to take a bus which is regular and inexpensive (2 euros) but fairly unreliable, or a taxi at 25-30 euros a pop each time. Too far to walk from town (about 40-45 min) and anyway there are no shoulders to the road so you can't walk- it's too dangerous! With the exception of the Bagni Regina Novanna nearby (which is great), it is far from everything else. Whatever you think you are saving by staying out of the town, you will likely come close to paying through transportation. Having said all that, we loved our calm and quiet stay there. The room itself was very clean and beds made every day, but there were ants on the terrace which I'm sure they've taken care of by now- they are very responsive. You had to go out on the balcony to see the sea (room 144) but there are better views from other rooms like in room 142. Breakfast was just ok. Fresh bread but little variety and things like a coffee machine dispenser (like you find in public offices) and canned fruit salad and packaged cookies and cakes. But the waitresses were nice and helpful.
- smc1806 (7/5): - Das Personal war herausragend freundlich, der Eingangsbereich top renoviert und auch modern gestaltet. Der Rest des Hotels nicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr abgelebt, im Bad war eine Handseifenflasche, die man nicht berühren wollte. Das alles kann man verschmerzen, ABER: zum Frühstück gibt es den schlechtesten Kaffee ganz Italiens. Es ist ein Automat, aus dem löslicher "Kaffee" kommt. Ungenießbar. Zumal sie wunderbaren Espresso machen können, wie die hauseigene Bar beweißt, nur den muss man separat zahlen.

Et l’accès à une piscine naturelle magnifique est pratique à pied depuis l’hôtel ! Il y a un parking donc très pratique mais attention c’est payant 15€ la nuit.
