• Jared (10/5): Highly Recommend - The location and the price were excellent for what I needed. Very nice and modern bathroom, comfortable bed and very clean. I didn't have pets with me this time but it's great to know it's pet friendly, this will definitely help me in the future. I did have an issue when I arrived, the door closed behind me and locked itself, with the key and my phone in the room, the office was closed but I managed to sort it out myself.

• Laura (10/5): A Gem in Fox Glacier - We loved everything about this place. Nestled off the main road, we were greeted by the owner, Matt, after a long day of driving. A ‘braw lad’ indeed! Our room was so comfortable and well appointed with all we needed and nice little extras. The renovated bathroom was wonderful with its heated floors! Very spacious with modern shower and vanity. By far the best we had encountered. We were treated to a beautiful sunset on Fox Glacier and sunrise out of our front porch. As an animal lover, I especially loved meeting Beamish and Tarn and even got to play fetch with Beamish. Absolutely nothing!

• Tarnthip (9/5): A spacious and comfortable stay in a great location, with friendly hosts, convenient parking, and lovely extra touches. - Great location, just a short distance from Lake Matheson and not far from restaurants and the supermarket. Parking is very convenient, right in front of the room. The reception staff were lovely, very helpful, and gave great recommendations. There are also two large dogs on the property who were very friendly and well-behaved. I personally loved them. They did not jump on guests or cause any trouble. However, for anyone who is afraid of dogs (like my friend), it might feel a little intimidating at first, as they were waiting outside the room in the morning. But they were truly gentle and harmless. The room was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. It had a heater, cooking facilities, and kitchen equipment. There was no air conditioning, but it was not an issue for us. We also appreciated the heated bed, which was a nice touch. A small improvement would be to have a bit more shelf space in the bathroom, and a full-length mirror would be very useful. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

My son was missing his dogs at home & loved throwing the ball with the black dog. The room was more than spacious with relaxing country views of the cow neighbours. The kitchen was well equipped, fresh and clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We would stay here again, thank you for a pleasant break in our journey.
