Que tengan una terraza en el exterior para fumar y te obliguen a ir allí pero el personal del hotel fuma en la misma puerta del hotel, que además tienen un cubo lleno de colillas. El perchero detrás de la puerta del baño está instalado de forma peligrosa, es fácil golpearse la cabeza sin querer.

• Cindi (2/5): Uncomfortable - The staff was kind. Our room and hallway smelled bad. We couldn’t get the heat to work and asked front desk to fix. They said they would send someone up and never did. The shower dripped all night. The guest were loud. No breakfast option. Parking was far away and couldn’t find the lot luckily we found something on the street.

• Marilyn (4/5): It started with no heat nor hot water and the light went out. - The staff was caring and supportive to my brother that is legally blind. The cleaning aspect and the fact that there was part that need to be repaired.

• Jennifer (2/5): Do NOT stay here! - The water was good. The heat was on. The staff tried to be helpful. I cannot even say how many bad things. The pictures absolutely do NOT represent the property. It was a mix of HUD housing and Hostil No cup to drink with, no hand towels, nowhere to put stuff down, parking very far away and not cleared of snow. Tap over window that would not close. Very loud, no noise barriers, tight cramped hallways, no access to one side of the bed, difficult to unload in front ( not cleared if snow) Most things were beat up and broken. Worst stay from here to California and back again!!!!

• Heather (9/5): Very Comfortable, Safe and Hospitable Hotel - The engagement and restaurant/bar staff was wonderful. They made me feel at home. Thank you to Jen, Joe, Sandy, Christina and Diana!! The front desk staff was very polite and helpful, too. The were able to fulfill all of my requests.The housekeepers did a great job and I had a comfortable stay. If the restaurant was able to serve breakfast during the week, that would be nice. Fortunately, I was able to walk to some nice breakfast places. If you had more local options for the tour / activity pamphlet wall, it would encourage walkable / nearby activities instead of just taking a train into the city to watch a show.

• Randi (8/5): Comfortable But Not Great - We liked the comfort of the bed. Really slept well. Also the staff at the desk were very kind and helpful. It was raining and their canopies leak. Also, not a good parking situation. Their parking lot (where was it) would cost $25 a day. Yikes! Street parking was a challenge.

Beds were really uncomfortable and had weird throw pillows instead of regular. It was very hard to sleep between that and the noise. Room and bathroom were clean but dingy. Poorly painted over issues that looked like leaks and maybe just bad sheet rock? Don't expect absolutely any amenities. No hair dryer or chairs in room. No soaps, etc. Overall, a motel but advertised as a hotel.

• Where2next629 (4/5): Very basic - Stayed one night. I've read all the other reviews and here's my take: do not come with high expectations. It's basic. Here's my experience: check in was smooth. Staff friendly. There was a huge 50th birthday party in the ballroom. With a dj. It was loud. I requested a room on an upper floor, far from the elevator, when I booked online. When I arrived I inquired about my request and was told the hotel was sold out and my room was in the corner. It was in the corner far from the elevator so that was good, I ended up on the second floor. I think there is one more floor above. There are two wings to the building. The wing I was assigned had the ballroom. The music was so loud I could hear and feel it on the second floor. It ended at midnight. Ok so be it it was a Saturday night and I always bring earplugs anyway. Lobby is well appointed with a small snack shop that's open 24 hours and you can bring your items to the front desk and purchase there. There is also a soda vending machine in the lobby. Coffee is served in the lobby starting at 5am. Hallways/elevator clearly rundown. The room: I had a king bed room. The bed fit exactly in the space. No night tables. There was a space heater on the floor. I used it. Worked well. There was a hair in the bathtub. Gross. Otherwise the room was sufficient. The bathroom was cold as there is a window, so I kept the door open all night so the bathroom could be warm. There was a banging noise from the hall all night. I went to see what it was, it was the door of the opposite room rattling from the wind. I have no idea if anyone was in there, but the do not disturb sign was on the door (ironic). View was of the other side of the building. Sheets, bed, towels all fine. Room darkening curtains worked. There is a mini fridge. At first I thought the TV was broken but realized it was unplugged after I climbed up to see what was happening. There was 1 chair in the room and a small shelf where the house phone sits. I tried calling at 10:45 to ask for a late checkout. No answer. So I checked out at 11 the regular time. When I was leaving the second floor, housekeeping was cleaning rooms and I noticed an odd "mist" near the ceiling (see photo), guessing carpet cleaner particles?? I paid $216 for the room. I guess it was fair for what I got on a Saturday night in December.

I stayed the night I arrived via JFK airport - then went to Niagara Falls for a couple of days & they helpfully stored my main luggage - then I stayed another night before flying out from JFK. Only 100 yards from Beach. Nice Restaurant/Bar on site The Weather!
• duckykanz (1/5): Keep looking, don't stay here - Location to beach Low pet fee For a $200+ room, I expected much more. And then have to pay for a parking fee. Dog fees are expected. I have stayed in Laquinta's that far exceeded my expectations and for ½ the price. I had come down from Maine to attend my 50th HS reunion. I thought I would stay close to the beach to enjoy walks on the beach. The whole hotel experience just ruined my trip. I know it's an older motel and has been around for decades but man it needs a total overhaul. First of all, I had spent so much time on the beach, I was in a rush to take a dower, get dressed and go. I come to find that the bathroom had no cold water. And when I turned the up/down knob in the shower, rusty water came out. I was totally disgusted. Secondly, when I got back around 11, I come to find the toilet wouldn't flush. At that point, I just wanted to get to bed. In the morning, again the toilet didn't flush and I just wanted to get out of there. Thirdly, it smelled! I wouldn't dare post pics of this room. I could do better painting job and decorating. I mentioned the issues at the front desk, but of course they can't do anything about it. I have called numerous times to talk to the manager and have emailed as well. I have gotten no response. I assume I am not the only one to complain. Maybe with this review I might get a response from the manager now. I am not one to complain but I just couldn't let this slide. Let this be a warning to others contemplating to staying here, move on. This hotel doesn't deserve more than a 1 star if not even lower. And should be removed from the booking.com website.

I didn’t like the parking situation and the breakfast could have been better. I would pay the money for it but they need to add more like muffins danishes yogurt and maybe get a toaster for English muffins and toast

He lifted the toilet seat to find that someone had left a "number 2" with no toilet paper in the bowl. Would suggest a different place in the future

They were able to help accommodate us for an early check in as I was there for a funeral. The staff had the room available so we could change before going to the funeral parlor. Staff was also very personable and kind. I really appreciated the kindness. The bed was also very comfortable. There was a slight odor throughout the hotel and in the lobby. Not a dirty odor, just sort of a too much air freshener odor. I am sensitive to smell.... The room was fine and did not have any odor at all so it was not bad once in the room. Parking was terrible...but that does not reflect on the hotel at all. Otherwise, all was great.

• Victoria (3/5): Absolutely not worth $271.00 for a night, it was unsettling to be woken up at 2:30am by drunk guys in the room we shared - The location is close to the boardwalk. There is free coffee in the lobby. Our toilet wasn’t totally screwed into the floor, felt like I was going to fall on the ground with the toilet every time I sat down. Our bed frames were made out of particle board put together the wrong way-you could see the writing on the particle board. There was no side table for a reading lamp or to set your phone. The walls are so paper thin it felt like the people we shared a wall with were inside our room at 2:30am. It was scary and unsettling. The sink didn’t drain in the bathroom. There is no on site parking, took us a while to find a spot 4 blocks away.
• Jason (4/5): - For a lack of better terms, the place is a dump. Creaky wooden stairs, filthy blue carpet, no amenities, room was a creaky old wooden floor, toilet handle was broken. Very close to the beach, which I guess is why they can charge almost $200 a night, but this is a 1 star hotel. Our party left a night early and got a Motel 6 for 1/3 the price with a better room and beds. They should really put some money into at least cleaning the carpet on the stairs and in the hallways because it's disgusting. Do better LBH!

• Miriam (2/5): Ick - Lobby is pretty and that's about it. Elevator is sketchy, carpets in hallways are dirty, hallways smell bad, room is strange for a "hotel". Seems like an old pre war apartment building turned into a hotel and not well renovated. Lucky I was staying alone because the bathroom door didn't close all the way. Toilet barely flushed. No hot water in shower. Air conditioner directly above the bed blowing on my head all night, so I had to pile pillows on my head to keep cold air out of my ear. Couldn't turn off AC because of sign in the room saying I had to keep temp between 69 and 71... Couldn't even open windows to freshen the air. I killed a roach in the bathroom. I ended up cutting my trip short specifically because I couldn't bare another night there. When I got home my husband asked me if I had food in the car and I smelled like onion rings. Now... It was the smell that stuck to me from the hotel room.

• Guy (4/5): Poor really poor - Service is Limited, informations on hôtels.com are wrong! No breakfast available on site, noisy hotel you hear clearly your neighbors.. last experience for me there
• Rhonda (4/5): - There were a lot of fruit flies in the room which was disgusting. There wasn’t any soap to wash your hands with. Bath rug was stained and hallway carpeting was filthy.
• Aerial (5/5): Price too high for 2star hotel - Clean towels, ball room, front desk lady and she was ball room bartender Small rooms, door doesnt close properly, 2 grill bartenders google drinks smh, small food selection. No curtains, lobby had a leaking ceiling, room phone didnt work, worlds smallest elevators

• THERESA (2/5): - A bull customer service the people behind the desk were rude. The stuff they served in the snack bar was stale. This is the horrible stay over all the shower head was broken. The TV was off for a day and a 1/2 don't stay here.

• S7355TZlindak (2/5): NO Air conditioning - It was a hot day in September and the split unit was NOT working and the small window air conditioner did NOT keep the room cool There were no blinds or shades on the window only curtains which if you closed for privacy or to keep the sun from shining in in the early morning you wouldn’t get any air Spoke with the front desk on arrival But nothing was done Very disappointed with this hotel
• BMC91149 (2/5): A few notches below Motel 6 - Where do I begin… The hotel website made the rooms look *decent*, so I booked the “Queen Suite with a waterview.” If you count peeking between two buildings to glimpse a sliver of beach in the distance as a “waterview,” then I guess we have very different definitions. When we entered our “suite,” it was maybe 10x10 with a tiny bathroom. The Pergo flooring was peeling, the dresser drawers didn’t fit properly, and the small closet reeked of dog urine. Actually, the *entire room* smelled like it. To top it off, the TV remote didn’t work. I went to the front desk and mentioned the smell. The young man said he’d send housekeeping. A few minutes later, a young woman showed up with a can of Glade, sprayed the closet, and left. Great—now all my clothes would smell like fake flowers layered over dog pee. When I asked if they had another room, she said yes. We changed rooms, but it faced directly into someone’s apartment window, where we could watch them cook dinner and watch TV. No joke. For $280 a night, I wish I had taken photos because no one would believe it otherwise. The floors were dangerously slippery from whatever they clean them with. The closet didn’t even have a bar for hanging clothes—just a 12-inch piece of pipe seven feet up that I managed to hang a few things on. At least there was an iron and board, though the iron was perched on top of a tiny safe. The bed? I still don’t know if it was a mattress or just a foundation, but it was rock-hard and impossible to sleep on. So glad I brought my own pillow with me! Parking was another nightmare—the hotel lot was a block away or you had to spend time driving around and around fighting for a street spot - which was especially tough for my husband, who has mobility issues. The next morning, we went to a diner nearby. When I told the owner where we were staying, she laughed and said: *“We call it the Bronx slum hotel.”* That about sums it up.

• Andrew (8/5): - The parking was a block away. Overall it was close to the beach. The water pressure didn’t really work in our room. But location is key!
• Krystal (8/5): - The first room we checked into had a large gap in the window with no screen to keep out bugs, birds or bats. They were able to accommodate us in another room and our stay was pleasant. Although the rooms are described as all having spa tubs, this was not true they were just regular tubs.
• Nicole (6/5): - Saw a roach, water pressure wasn’t good, and water was yellow sometimes .. couldn’t close the window when it was raining. One of the bathrooms wasn’t working

• jiniela (4/5): - The building is old. They AC unit was attached to the window so your curtain cannot be use as a curtain. The room bright when the sun is out because of the placement of the AC. Rooms are very small and you can hear the people from outside. It is a little challenging to find a parking spot.
