Sandra (9/5): - The rooms were very clean and quite spacious, with a big screen TV, and electric fireplace, nice pictures/ decor on the walls. It also had a comfy couch, which made the room feel cozy. The beds are very comfortable, we actually got to have a really good night's sleep. I liked the duel Keurig coffee machine, choice of pods or coffee in a carafe. Only a couple of pods were provided, unfortunately no coffee for the carafe was provided, luckily I bought my own. We had access to a table and seating outside, with the view of the river and nice scenery. A swimming pool (closed right now) picnic tables, barbecue grills are available on the property by the river to be able to use. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes park, also a Restaurant/bar on the property( not affiliated with Nicky's) but you can just walk to it. I was pleased with the accommodations, I would definitely plan on staying there again. Disappointed the jet bath tub didn't work ( the shower was great). It would be nice if the bedding was updated, it would make it look more appealing. ( The mattress was very comfortable) Otherwise everything else was fine.

issyrphotos (4/5): Run down property. Not comfortable - In all honesty we won't be back. The checkin process was not clear. The sliding glass door entry was difficult, stuck glass door every time. The combo to access didn't work because its a lock box to access loose keys. No clue. The old bed was not comfortable. The pillows were very flat, all 4. There were many signs that the room was not cleaned or poorly cleaned. Actually found some dark hairs under the sheets. The floors were dirty too. Oh and the toilet was extremely low (I'm 5'2") Really disappointed in the run down conditions. We stayed here a few times years ago before it was a self check in property. We didn't expect such run down conditions. Like most of Estes Park now, the accommodations are old, run down, uncomfortable beds and pillows, overpriced for the rooms. It's sad that property owners don't update or improve the quality of their rooms. Most importantly, CLEAN rooms, comfortable beds and decent pillows. A note * before * booking about check email for required check in info would have been nice. Our room neighbors had the same hiccups upon arrival with poor internet/cell service trying to contact someone. Can't imagine paying Summer prices over $200 per night!

Alisun (8/5): Great stay overall! - The location was conveinent, I'm not used to virtual check-ins but the process was easy and smooth. The room was spacious and comfortable, it looked like it had been newly updated. The parking was a little strange and didn't have the best layout. The bathroom lacked the ammenties (at least what I'm used to staying at hotels) and the shower head randomly leaked.

Upon seeing the room, which was filthy and contacting them we ended up finding another hotel. They have not refunded me and will not contact me back, even after I submitted multiple photos of the room, which had not been vacuumed or dusted for what looked like months.

Not as clean as I would have preferred (the shower curtain had some pink at the bottom; I found a couple hairs in between my sheets). Bug screen on the door was really dark (couldn’t be moved) and the lighting was dim, so the room felt quite dark.

We were told by management we would get a full refund but we did not. We had to pay for another hotel and we had to throw all our luggage away. We were covered in bites and have anxiety about having brought the bed bugs home.

It felt like a cozy cabin with the necessary items needed terrific stay! they have grills and fire pits and a really cool bar restaurant you can walk to - not to mention the wonderful stream to see and enjoy! We can’t say enough about this place! Booking.com wouldn’t allow me to cancel or bring my pet

Jesse (3/5): It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. - The the flowing river near by that you can hear on a quiet night.. Clean and well maintained units. Plenty of parking. And there’s a restaurant within walking distance. All surrounded by the mountains and mature conifer trees! There is no one to talk to incase something goes wrong. Absolute desolate ghost town when needing to speak to an employee. I sent a message about needing to check out 3 days early due to an emergency and I NEVER got a response back.

No help was available to resolve the laptop problem.

Bruno (5/5): Da evitare - Molto poco Non rispondono in nessun modo a qualunche messaggio ,telefonata ,mail . Trovare la camera di sera e' molto complicato ,nessuna indicazione pochissima luce. Avevo chiesto camera tranquilla , lo ero solo perche' l' hotel era vuoto . Avevamo la camera a pochissimi metri dalla strada . Sistemazione da evitare ,se avete qualunque problema ,non avrete mai nessuna risposta.

AbsolutelyDubrovnik (2/5): Poorly maintained hotel - Very poor room. Not clean. Some very basic maintenance issues with 3 nails showing around the sink area. Sales pictures do not represent room provided. Location in the mountains near the national park was great
Jmdavies001 (2/5): Not to repeat - We were placed here after the Wyndham changed our location here because they overbooked. We were already upset that our special birthday celebration group was divided (originally in 3 hotels!). So we were able to get 2 rooms here. Our room had maintenance issues (the floor had nails exposed where you walked by the sink, the bathtub had dirty paper towels in it, one of the bed covers had fur all over it). The upstairs people sounded like elephants in the morning. A real disappointment.

Carla (10/5): A wonderful place to stay! - A great location with the river and mountains. The room was inviting and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had great pressure. The staff was very nice. Will definitely be staying there again. There wasn't anything not to like except maybe there is no breakfast.
Haley (6/5): - I stayed in the two bedroom cabin. The room was big, but furniture was well used. Chair had leather peeling. The comforter on the beds were dirty looking. The pdf map on the email made it hard to find my room since it didn’t have a room labeled ‘cabin 2’ as indicated on the email since there’s no front desk I didn’t have anyone to ask. No one responded to my text or message on the app prior to check in.

Terri (4/5): - The property was close to RMNP. It was in a beautiful area near a Creek; and was pretty quiet. We were able to have a late check out. It was pretty roomy; and had some nice movie channels. But, they do not have drive-up available to EVERy room as indicated in the information/ad for this property. I'm disabled and thought the drive up option would've been ideal. They do not have carts or staff available to assist with carrying luggage or items to your room. And parking was not very convenient to the room my Mom and I stayed in on the 2nd floor.I asked for a late check out; and heard "the latest we could do is a 1:00". I thought that would be nice; but the next morning someone came knocking loudly on the door about 9:45-9;50. They came back at least 5-6 times; even though we had told them we had a late check-out. Someone from the property called us and at that time said it was an 11:00 late check out. I SPECIFICALLY booked this room because of the jetted tub advertised; and in the am when I tried using the jets; they did not work! I told the gentleman from the property mgmnt company about the jets not working and housekeeping continually knocking on the door. I was asked if I had called maintenance about the jets not working on the jetted tub the night before. I didn't try using the jetted tub until the morning (when housekeeping was already knocking; so I wouldn't have called. I wasn't offered a discount or anything. I hope they fix the jetted tub for the next guest!

Ashley (6/5): - The room was nice, sheets and comforter had stains, the toilet was clean, but the bathtub seems to be forgotten about when cleaned. The property is close to downtown and 3 miles from RMNP.
RONALD (6/5): - The room was very old and the carpet was very stained, wasn't very clean, the tubs drain was clogged, no kleenex, very cheaply done and found it hard to navigate the TV. I won't stay again as I don't like not having a real person available to solve problems.

Nicky should buy a paint brush and remodel the bathrooms. The restaurant was pretty good. I stay in hotel all across the USA.When high season hits and I pay a premium I want at least premium experience.

Barbara (8/5): - The resort is nestled between the mountains and a small stream. There was a beautiful walking path next to the river.Next time I would likely choose one of the individual cabins which have barbecues, hammocks and Adirondack chairs.
Heidi (8/5): - Cabin was nicely renovated and clean. Advertised as sleeping 6 but the “pull out” was a tiny futon that barely slept my 8/10yos and definitely wouldn’t have fit anyone bigger. It was also hard as a rock so they did not sleep well for 2 nights. Sheets were missing upon check in and we had to call multiple times to get assistance. Once we got thru, he came up immediately for us tho. The fixtures in the bathroom were all lose and the toilet wobbled. It looks like they did a quick Reno and didn’t work on the finishes. It looks pretty but the handles were falling off and the shower didn’t drain well at all and we were left standing in a deep puddle almost immediately. Location was great tho and the restaurant close by was good. Washing our dishes wasn’t a problem but proper cleaning supplies is important- an old sponge sitting there already dirty on check in didn’t make us feel clean at all. Would def stay here again and recommend but they need to check the small stuff and make sure the home is properly ready. We stayed in cabin 1.
Cheryl (10/5): - Easy to check in. The room was clean and quiet. The bed wasn't the highest quality but for the price was fine. There's a nice restaurant right across we walked to. The hotel is right on a creek and lots of areas the have a cookout or bonfire along it.

Consistent flow. Room had all the amenities that you would desire for a comfortable night stay. Bed was very comfortable. Ample supply of pillows. There is no front desk. Everything is done remotely. Highly recommend
jose (6/5): - It was easy to check in, no office staff just a keypad on the door of the room. When I couldn’t figure out how to open the keypad to get the room key out, staff was called for help. He was sending someone out to help when I finally was able to figure it out. Room looks like it needs upgrading. The carpet was stained throughout the room.

But disappointed with the internet not working, made it hard to plan dinner / next day routes/maps, etc. had WiFi and access but was not able to connect with our phones or laptops. Probably too many people. We were on the first floor, and unfortunately could hear every step above us this morning at 6am. Far from ideal.

David (4/5): - the lighting is very bad if you check in after dark. the bedding seemed dirty and very worn, overall, this place could use a major updating. the map of the property leaves a lot to be desired, the sidewalk going to the room is very steep and full of heaves and cracks, it would be dangerous in snowy conditions. Why did our room have 3 carbon monoxide detectors and one was beeping when we got there, we removed the battery to quiet it. I'm not tech savvy and had a hard time using the tv , furnace, fireplace. Lighting on the sidewalk path didn't work. Having to take care of your own trash just seems wrong We called for help to find our room, and the man helped us over the phone, that was about the only positive thing I can say about our stay.
Sandra (6/5): - good location very close to entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park; While price was reasonable for this area, it was more than I paid for about 8 other nights in Denver and Colorado Springs at nicer places; no front desk so a lot of self-service; couldn't figure out how to lock the door so had to spend time looking that up; clean room but room could use more light/better outlet access and being told (via email/text) to take out y own garbage when leaving seemed ridiculous/annoying given that I was paying for a hotel -- definitely an acceptable (safe/clearn) place to stay and there is a pool I didn't see/use but very low (aka no) services provided so be aware if that's important to you
Barbara (6/5): The scenery was great! - We were lacking in dish availability! There were only four of us so we had 4 plates. 3 spoons, knives we didn’t use, 3 cups, 4 forks. The bathroom was a little small and the toilet was loose so made a loud clunk when you got up! The ceiling fans were pretty dusty!

It was really nice having the restaurant next-door. And a stream flowing right through the property. Were there three hours early and a maintenance man was there saying our room was ready and we had an early check-in, which was nice, otherwise it was self check in with a key box
