- Emily (10/5): Great short and sweet stay near Cradle Mountain - The room definitely gave us the cottage vibes that we wanted staying in the wilderness. Clean, convenient and easy check out. Clear communication on what amenities and food choices are around. Picked up a leech from the 5m walk from the car to the cabin in the dark. Just be more aware of your surroundings than i was.

Bed was very comfy and warm (electraic blankets), easy distance to cradle mt, nice rainwater. No cooking ability for self contained cabin and minimal local eating options (sml cafe did takeway but average, and tavern in Cradle Mt is too far to drive with noctural animals), outdated and older fittings/furniture, slightly crowded design, very squeaky front flyscreen door.

- Neil Bland (9/5): We would love to come again and would recommend this accommodation to our friends - The roomy timber cottage was delightful in a peaceful bush setting with pademelons outside our door. The caretaker was most helpful when we arrived, checked us in and on our second night chatted to us beside the open fire where the BBQ's were. We had everything we needed. The only minor thing was the cold on the first night, but finding the extra blanket and the electric blankets on the bed, we became warm.

We spoke to the new owner the next morning at the coffee shop opp the cabins who advised they will upgrade. Price point vs what we paid the next night at Cradle was significant. Cradle overpriced and not worth the cost. STAY HERE. A little outdated but but comfortable and cosy. Pricepoint excellent 👌 STAY HERE

The bathroom was big & the shower - though not brilliant - was fine. We could park outside our cabin & it was private & quiet. There is currently no WiFi - this was communicated to us in advance & we made sure to download maps etc. You can go across the road to the Cafe to connect to WiFi. The instructions we received from Anita were excellent. It was a very comfortable 2 night stay & we'd go again. Highly recommend

- Sharon (8/5): Good location for exploring Cradle Mountain - Beautiful setting Some noise from adjoining rooms at times but not a major annoyance. Perhaps additional kitchen facilities could be considered e.g stovetop & oven due to the isolated location

- Victoria (7/5): - The forest location and wildlife. The fact that the main building had burned down and the temporary check in was in effect outside. Hence it was not good value for money. The bathroom was huge but this meant the rest of the lodge was small.

- Bec (10/5): Ultimate unwind. - Ahhhhh the peace and tranquillity. Enjoying an evening drink around the camp-fire with the Caretaker and other guests all swapping stories, was a lovely way to relax.

- Rachel (10/5): - We loved our night in the Wombat cabin - wish we could’ve stayed another! It was super cosy and was a very welcome change from the freezing outdoors. The bed was really comfy and the heated blanket was so nice! Was especially grateful for the heater in the bathroom! No wifi in the cabins but some wifi at the front of the property. Make sure you bring some microwaveable food, they made sure to remind us in the emails which was helpful! Also a cafe over the road but didn’t get to try as was closed so be mindful that you have enough stuff with you!
- Tracey5jane13 (9/5): Cradle mountain - The suit was large with a kitchen , TV and lounge. The bed was comfortable and good pillows. It had a good heater which came in handy as it was 4 degrees the night we stayed. The suit is in a four joined block. It was quite noisy as you could hear your neighbours talk. The worst noise was the toilet flushing which seemed to be very loud and could be heard from all the other suits.
- Victor (7/5): Good Basic cabin in good location - The location was good for Cradle Mt hikes. It’s about 20 min drive to National Park, beds were comfortable. Our on site manager Jamie was great. Small bar fridge for in house eating. Sofa needs to be replaced as piece of wood sticking out where they tried to reinforce it. Whole cabin is a bit outdated. No WiFi which we knew about.

- Sandra (7/5): A quiet stay in a cabin in the mountains with a comfy bed and a few quirks. - The cabin was private and at one with nature and a bit more affordable than staying closer to Cradle Mountain If booking through a third party you don’t find out about the limited cafe hours before you arrive - take your food with you - we figured it would be isolated and bought a few things in Sheffield. Make sure you read the arrival instructions beforehand as it’s got limited phone reception (you’re in the mountains) We turned the toaster on and it flipped the fuse so we didn’t use the toaster.

- Andrew (7/5): Great location, sadly lack of wifi let it down. - Lovely little cabin. Great location for exploring. Had all the facilities we needed, except WiFi. There's a nice cafe opposite which offers great food. There was no wifi in the cabin. There was however wifi at the BBQ area but unfortunately during the evening the caretaker would light a fire which unless you were happy to smell of smoke meant retreating back to your cabin. The sofa was very uncomfortable. The TV didn't work.
- Thomas (10/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt in der Natur. - Sehr urige Unterkunft mitten in der Natur. Schön ausgestattet, alles sauber und gut in Schuss . Man ist sehr abgeschieden, daher ist das Mobilfunknetz sehr schwach. WLan ist leider nicht vorhanden. Für Naturliebhaber ideal um Tiere direkt von der Terrasse zu beobachten. Nichts
