As an older person using a cane and traveling alone, this has been an easy and pleasant experience in every way. In two of these trips, I have extended my stay and certainly would return on my next trip through KL.
- zishang1 (10/5): Great experience - My hotel @ KL Sentral — it was a plasant stay with a good room and friendly staff. It’s a nice hotel located in a central area, making it easy to travel anywhere. There are plenty of transportation options available, such as cabs, MRT, LRT, and buses.

- A9968YXbrendaj (10/5): Convenient for older travelers - I was lucky to be directed to the Metro Hotel from their “sister” Hotel (MyHotel) around the corner. I am a single elderly female, using a cane, and the location of the Metro Hotel was so very convenient for me that I stayed two weeks there. I always had my questions answered quickly, service was excellent and timely, and assistance was offered often for my “special needs”. Somewhere in comments, someone said they did not have a small refrigerator in their room, but I did as well as a small safe and the usual cosmetics, TV, air-conditioning, fresh towels, etc. and my room was quiet. I highly recommend this location and this particular hotel. I will be returning there on my next trip.
- Ranjit-Muay (6/5): Clean hotel close to food and airport metro. - PROS: Food places and shopping mall minutes away. CONS: No fridge or “do not disturb / make up room cards”. REVIEW: Stayed Nov-2023 for 3 nights in deluxe room 213 with breakfast. Lift without porter service. Room has kettle, cups and coffee but no tea or fridge. Shower head fixed to wall but swivels. Aircon had an annoying blue-light temperature indicator at night which I managed to switch off on 3rd night. Breakfast coupons for nearby restaurant (currently “Banana Boss and Crew” 2 doors away). Roti, Idly, Poori choice tastes good but the 4-dish buffet (rice, noodles, eggs and vegetarian sausage) plus watermelon, cereal, toast, juice is passable. Reviews state it is 2-star hotel, possibly due to small room, but better than many 3-star hotels I have stayed in. Receptionist Chanu is extremely polite and helpful.

Our Stay was comfortable. 50 meters away from KL Sentral Metro LRT/MRT/Bus Station, Adjacent to KL mono rail & NU sentral mall... Lot of good quality restaurents are around.

- Extraordinary114039 (6/5): Standard but the environment not clean... - Metro Hotel KL Sentral room is standard but the room is quiet dark, around the hotel was not really clean. Maybe for this rate hotel is good enough. The tv is good and have various of channel. The air conditioner was good too. The toilet was very good but the don't provide toileteries too..

- JacquesCousteau1 (6/5): Close to KL Sentral - Conveniently located within walking distance of KL Sentral so you can quickly reach your hotel from the airport. Within walking distance you can walk towards Merdeka Square and the Petronas Towers. The room was spacious, but somewhat dated. However for the price you can not complain and I was also allowed into my room earlier for a small extra fee, which is very nice after a long flight.

For early check in they charged 140 myr its over price. Ibis hotel allow us early check in with out additional charge. So consider this Hotel if doing early check in.

We have booked 2 rooms with a queen bed as per described. However the hotel did not provide a room with queen bed for 1 of the rooms. If there is no room available, it should be stated at the point of booking, not at check in! Hope the hotel can hold on to what has been promised at the time of booking.

- arunipm (10/5): very convenient place to stay - it is a budget hotel, we spent 4 nights there during our stay in Malaysia. it is located in a very convenient place where you can easily access to the Sentral railway system and Sentral bus terminal. the staff is very friendly and helpful. room is a little bit tiny but it includes all the facilities which are needed and the room is always kept clean by the hotel.

- gerard3639 (8/5): Excellent and value for money - The hotel is located near train hubs and the NU Sentral shopping mall. Check-in was smooth and quick. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable in every way. Wifi signal was strong. It seems that the hotel is undergoing some renovation on the 4th floor as I was woken up by the sound of heavy drilling. There are lots of eateries and convenience stores nearby. There are plenty of foot massage centres done by the blind. Do take note that it will be noisy in the afternoon and even at night due to the traffic congestion. But apart from that, the service from the reception staff was exceptionally second to none. I will certainly be staying here again.

- Meenakshisundaram (2/5): Credit Card Information Breach - Air-conditioning didnt work. On informing the housekeeping, they left a pedestal fan and informed that maintenance technician will attend. No one turned up My credit caed details including cvv number was found written on a piece of paper and left for free view by al guests at the front desk. Shocked to see the confidential information shared in your so called secured website is copied by them on a piece of paper and kept on front desk for public view. On enquiry, front desk personnel says, it is their practice and they need to copy the information from website to a piece of paper for charging the guest on daily basis. They charged my card for first day before I checked in and collected second day charge by cash at the counter. I expressed my shock for having put up my credit card details including cvv number on public display. Front office personnel didnt show any remorse for their act and asked me to be rest assured that the information will not be mis-used. I AM SHOCKED..MAY NOT USE YOUR WEBSITE FURTHER IF YOU CANNOT PROTECT CREDIT CARD DATA..

- daveyp489327 (2/5): Huge let down - I stayed here for one night and I was hugely disappointed. The room key didn’t work after I checked in. The staff issued me multiple key cards to rectify the problem. None of them worked. I then had to go to reception and was escorted to my room with a security guard in order for him to open the door each time I returned from being out.This was nothing short of woeful. They made no attempt to move me to another room - or offer any sort of compensation for the problem. The room itself was fine for the price I paid. But the key card issue was very frustrating. Another point of note. Getting a taxi from here to KL Sentral is problematic. The taxis don’t like taking guests from here as it’s quite close to the station. Therefore you have to walk to the train station with luggage. It takes around 15 minutes to walk there. The paths and roads are not smooth so it requires you to lift and carry the suitcase up and down stairs, over high curbs and over undulating road surfaces. I would opt not stay here in the future

- taafe (2/5): Terrible experience that my family had to sleep on the floor! - 3 days before checking in, made a call to adjust my booking for 2 pax to change to 3 pax instead. Staff Magen picked up and acknowledged my request. I even told him regardless of how much to pay extra to either upgrade to a bigger room to fit 3 persons or add in extra bed will be good enough. He said “ok ok” and I assumed that’s a dealed deal! On that checkin date, my family was told no more extra bed to add in, and no more other room to change. That’s not the end yet, when my family requested extra pillows while was “forced” to squeeze in a double room, was turned down again! Said no more extra pillows in the hotel! What kinda experience!! Sleeping on the floor in the modern days while we’d left no choice!!! Worst hotel and service ever..

- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel near KL Sentral Station - This hotel is coveniently located close to KL Sentral Station. All the metro subway lines are meeting at KL Sentral Station. Thus, we can go to any place from this station. There are many restaurants around the hotel, Sometimes it is quite noisy after midnight.

- Connie (10/5): Clean, comfy and spacious. - We had a room for 3 which was very clean, very spacious and came with all the usual amenities. Good size bathroom. View was of next doors wall but couldn’t complain. RM 50 deposit on arrival as well as scanning your passport. Expected from a nicer hotel. Staff were friendly and most even hold the door open for you. Highly reccomend for people travelling on a slight budget, as well as for convince. 2 monorail stations (incl KL Sentral) are within 5-10 mins walk.
- vx (4/5): Terrible experience, Run down hotel - This hotel was smelling of smoke, and room condition was really bad. Floor has moulds, walls needs painting and l ‘d seen ants in my room. Old bed sheets . Location is good. Unproffessional for the price,! Its just like fish and chips place

- Mikaela (6/5): So-so. - Wasn't bad, but room was very small. Door had only one lock, no door guard. Bathroom door was pretty dirty but bathroom itself was clean. Other than that it was alright. Staff is friendly. But there are other hotels such as Prescott which is just a stone's throw away which are better. Prescott costs a few ringgit more but is more spacious.

- Ann (10/5): comfortable and clean room - The room was very comfortable, new and clean. The only thing i dislike is the staff, RUDE, NOT FRIENDLY and phone us at 11.30 (CLEARLY NOT EVEN CHECK OUT TIME) to rush us to check out.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location but poor room condition - A disaster holiday with family. arrive late so the give us a terrible room. the room was really smelly (paint). Very mistake S.O.P, they paint the whole floor and should never give their guest rooms on that floor. ask for change or any solution but the answer is very disappointing. thinking of moving to other hotel but already pay HOTELS.COM (2 night) so maybe problem in asking for the refund. so have to open the windows for the remaining night. luckily the next morning we been move the another room.

- Jeff (10/5): Not bad - Good location next to Brickfields and KL Sentral. Room good, but some hair found in shower. Several choices for breakfast. Western and Malay. Rooftop restaurant gives nice views of city. Good front desk.
- Glenn (8/5): Close to Coffeeshop and local eateries - 2nd time staying in a month. A little disappointed as I did not get the room I wanted as wifi was not available. The room they gave me had no windows but wifi was available. Should have been compensated but did not want to kick up a fuss. Overall still ok. Just booked for my next trip to KL.
- Ewan (4/5): Smoke scream - Staff were very friendly and helpful. For £20 a night it's a bargain. Located next to massive Sentral shopping centre and airport transit. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooftop bar is scruffy with poor breakfast offering. Woke up at 3am to people screaming and fighting outside the room. On leaving the room in the morning there was a really strong smell of cigarette smoke in the communal areas. Ugh.
