• Heidi (10/5): Great Location, Great staff, Clean and cozy room. - We were allowed to check in early. When we got to the room it was very clean and made up very nice. Bathroom very clean as well. We had a room overlooking the pool. We did enjoy sitting by the pool in the afternoon. It was still a little cold to swim. Only a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. Great location. Everything was great!

• Murray (9/5): - I enjoyed drinking coffee in the office and talking with Katrina. If I had booked directly with Harris House on the Beach I would have saved $20.00 a day in booking fees and would not have the no money back policy if I had to cancel.

• Agnes (8/5): Did not live up to last year. - The last time we stayed we had a room on the second floor facing the pool. It was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. This time we were on the first floor with a view of the street. It was nosey all night long and sleep was very disappointing. We thought check out was 12 like most places. At about ten the cleaning lady knocked and asked if we were checking out. I said yes, and she said take your time. A few minutes another person knocked on the door and asked if we were checking out and when I said yes, she said OK. Then a little past 11 there was another knock on the door and we were told that we were supposed to be out by 11 and if we didn't leave, we would have to pay for another day. Could have been a little more understanding.

• Kurt (8/5): Overall, it was a nice and convenient stay. Just change sheets. - The lady who checked us in was wonderful and very helpful. It is your standard hotel room which is great because for most, you’re only in there to sleep. The parking lot was great. Couldn’t have a more perfect location. I didn’t realize until very late but there were stains on my sheets. Not the kind that the washer couldn’t remove, like someone was eating on the bed and the sheets were never changed. It was gross. So I froze and slept on top of the blanket.

• Mary Ellen (8/5): Great for a last minute, late season visit to the boardwalk and beach - The location was great for a short visit. In the past our visit were usually a week so this weekend visit was unusual. The staff was very helpful and made our visit a success. We were very close to the boarwalk and beach. After spending time at the beach we could quickly clean up and enjoy the boardwalk. It was early October, near the end of the season. Maybe during peak season it would have been noisy but it was quiet. The motel is very old but recently updated. The only complaint was that the A/C was loud and cycled often. The TV was not a big fancy one but we didn't go to watch TV.

The pool was awesome, parking was easy and the proximity to the beach and boardwalk was amazing. Having the beach passes included with the room was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. WiFi was spotty in our room.

• Salvatore (8/5): quaint, convenient, and close to the beach - The room was clean and very close to the boardwalk and beach. I like that there was no smoking on the property, as well as no noise after 10PM, it also had a microwave and refrigerator. It was Great that they had parking and beach passes for us. We were also lucky that they were able to accommodate us with early checkin. I liked everything . Only criticism was maybe the room could be a little more stylish but it was very clean and enough room, So no real complaints.

• Catherine (10/5): Perfect beachfront motel - Great front desk staff. Super clean facilities and you couldn’t beat the location. Right on boardwalk steps from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants. It is not a five star resort. What it is is a great beachfront shore stay with everything you need and clean.

• Sarah (10/5): Great place to stay for a decent price. - I loved how close to the beach it was. The place was very clean and they gave plenty of towels for the bathroom. AC worked great. Staff was very friendly!!! My kids and I absolutely loved the pool!! I am a single mom of 2 young children and I was on the 2nd floor. Only thing I didn't like was having to carry all of our luggage up and down the stairs.
• Thomas (10/5): It was a pleasant stay in a very convenient location. We would definitely book again. - The rooms were clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff member, Tammy, showed up everyday and kept the room neat and clean. She was very friendly and attentive, as was the staff that kept the grounds and the pool. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere, including to the beach and restaurants. Our daughter and her family were staying nearby in a rental house, and we were able to walk there as well. Ocean City is a dry town, meaning no alcohol is served within city limits, which tends to keep the area very family-friendly. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. Although, a very friendly guest helped us with our luggage. There were enough parking spots for each guest room (one per room), although it could get tight later in the evening, causing some guests to have to move their vehicles in the morning.

• Viktorija (7/5): Very nice vacation spot near the beach. - The location is perfect, with beautiful landscaping around the hotel, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The bathroom had a faulty design, with water from the shower leaking onto the floor. Additionally, the bathroom floor in two places felt like rotten wood and would soon collapse underfoot. So we had to be careful and not step on those places on the floor.

• Kara (10/5): Excellent service, location and amenities for the price! - My family and I have stayed here before, and we love it. It is so close to the boardwalk, and the amenities are great. Having beach tags for the week is so nice because it's one less thing to worry about. I will definitely be back. The only thing I would suggest would be shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower instead of the travel ones.

The room appeared to have been renovated - new wall paint, new bath fitter, gracious front desk & cleaning personnel. We greatly enjoyed our stay & will return when in OCNJ Nothing really.
