• Yoongyoong (7/5): Good hotel but disappointing staff attitude. - Nothing. Just a normal decent hotel. I woke up early to chase after the sunrise on 4 Feb 2024. I walked down the road and got injured on my head (banged against an electricity box on a lamppost accidentally, given my height). Thought the hotel of such international branding, under the Aston Group, would have at least a decent first-aid box in place, which I could use, but disappointingly, the staff at the reception didn't know what to do. All I got was a Betadine, an antiseptic liquid, from them. Well, no issue, I thought. However, as I was bleeding, I used my handkerchief to dry off my blood, and hence, back in my room, I washed and dried the hankie in the toilet, under the ventilation above the toilet seat. I forgot all about it and went to sleep/rest after cleaning up. The time was about 8 am at this juncture. When I checked out @ 11 am, I forgot about my handkerchief though when I subsequently wrote to the hotel, they kept insisting they did not see my handkerchief. Well, that being the case, I suppose maybe the chambermaids are not trustworthy...finders keepers.

• Eliza (7/5): Okay stay - The clean room and its notorious hotel-like smell made our stay really comfortable. The option to add AC was nice as after going out we tend to want instant cool temperature so it was handy to have the AC there. Plus the room service was great as it was really neat and happened without notice. Made it to be like a surprise after going out to see your room already clean! The food, especially for breakfast, was a hit or miss. Some days it was nice, but some we didn't enjoy it as much. The messiness of the tea and coffee, toast, cereal, and porridge section. Other than that it was okay.

• sbethth (4/5): Below average hotel - We booked a room to share for 3 people (gal pals) but were only allowed 3 of certain things - toothbrush and towel were free, but if we wanted a third pillow or slippers we had to pay. The hot water in the shower was just a tad above warm and had such low water pressure that I couldn't rinse my hair clean. After 5 minutes, the hot water would be completely empty (nothing coming out at all). We called the front desk and were told there was a problem with the pipes. It was very crowded and no one seemed to be following the covid-19 guidelines - people were crowding into the elevator, not wearing masks, only occasionally was there anyone to check temperatures at the front door. The breakfast buffet area just got messier as the morning went on without anyone to clean up spills or restock items. Probably the worst part was the smoking. There is no non-smoking floor. At any time of day or night our room would be filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. And the hallway was like a gas chamber. On the plus side - there were a number of cafes within walking distance, and the view was great.
• ekaseptiachandra (6/5): Fave Hotel Cimanuk Garut - Overall is good but internet connectivity needs to be better because i'm difficult to connect and sometimes can't connect. The room is nice, clean, smell good, the bed is comfortable. The price not expensive and i'm recomend for family holiday
• gintkenny (6/5): Medium-Low Standard 3 Stars Hotel - I visited this Hotel for a trip to Garut on 21-22 July 2020. The hotel was rather big, inside a complex with some restaurants or cafes next to the hotel. The service was good: fast check-in, fast room service (i was borrowing a set of spoon, fork and plate). The location of the hotel is very close to the city of Garut. However the facility is kinda poorish. I spent a lot of my time in the hotel room for working, but the table is very-very small. I worked with a MacBook Air 13" on the table and not even my hand could be laid on the table. It's only enough for a laptop. If you need more space, you must move the tray of glasses and instant beverages to other place. The electric water kettle handle was frail, it should be glued to its body, but some parts of the handle are detached. The bed was not too comfy, you could feel the spring when you are sitting or even lying down. The soap in the bathroom is 3 in 1: soap, shampoo and conditioner. The shower's hot water is warm, not hot enough for me. Another big problem for me is the lighting. Even when I turned all the lights on, the lighting was still dim. My eye was hurting when I do my work on the laptop during late afternoon to early morning. If you're doing business in Garut and don't stay a lot in the hotel, this hotel is recommended for you. You will mostly not care how comfy the bed is when you're tired and you will not use the table for working. However, if you're doing a holiday or do stay a lot in the room and willing to work from the hotel, this hotel is not for you. I would like to suggest you Santika, which offer you better in-room experience, with more expensive price unfortunately.
• kalangiedimas (8/5): Good employee - Such a good place for business stuffed, kindly employee and good services.. but the room is a bit smelly.. thought it's like a cigs from the other guest before.. but no worries.. hopefully it could be fixed before the other guest take the room especially in smoking areas room

• Inspire03940723979 (6/5): If not for the elevator, the stay would have been perfect - Plus: location and facilities. Basically a value for money. But when you only have one elevator in the place do notify guests when its down. Putting up a sign and a trash bin is no sufficient solution. Makes you wonder how often the malfunction occur considering the staff acts like it was nothing.

• msiagia (4/5): Need water inside the room - I was stay in a suite room but have ito collect water from vending machine outside the room. When arrived the ac was not working. When check out, the front desk invoice me for a early check in but I was check in in the evening. He realized that he keyed the wrong room.

I accidentally left my id card at the front desk, and the staff immediately return it to my room. Thank you, I think if I'm going to return to Garut one day, I'll comeback to stay at this hotel again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Fair for a business hotel in the region - Hotel & rooms were ok, need more variations on breakfast like cereals. The coffee shop handles only "room service" orders. They should be able and can add simple choices like french fries, club sandwich, BTL sandwich (beacon, tomato & lettuce) to cater for "foreign" taste. The WiFi in the room is quite unstable with frequent drops-off. One has to move to the lobby/ground-floor area to get better signal

• hardy (6/5): Lebih baik datang tahun depan - Hotel saat ini masih dalam tahap pembangunan dan fasilitas penunjang lain seperti kolam renang dan taman sekitar hotel, bahkan roof top pun masih belum bisa diakses sekedar menikmati udara pagi kota garut dan melihat gunung cikuray, gunung guntur dll.
