- Marc (7/5): Leuk voor een paar nachten - De ruime kamer zonder ramen. Eerst vond ik dat raar maar het was een oase van rust in het chaotische Hanoi. Het bed was ook prima en heel groot. Personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk Verouderd hotel en douchen in bad is niet mijn favoriet. De kamer kan wel een upgrade gebruiken.

- Kerri (6/5): Disappointed with traffic noise at first but very pleased the staff were able to help me change room - The reception staff were very helpful when I requested a change of room due to traffic noise all day and night. I was able to move rooms the next day. They were very accommodating and in general responding to queries. Daily servicing of rooms. Good powerful shower and bath. The location of the hotel. As it was away from the central area (Train St etc) and opposite a park, I thought it would be quiet. In fact, it was the opposite. Possible the noisiest stretch of road in Hanoi! If you want to get any sleep in this hotel, make sure you book a smaller, cheaper room at the back of the building, where it is quiet, although quite dark.

- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Only a 15 minute walk to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in one direction, and Hoan Kiem Lake in another. Staff VERY helpful and friendly. All kinds of shops and eating places surround the hotel, including pharmacies, a WinMart and a Highlands Coffee is attached to the hotel. The staff are fantastic. I know I already said this, but I need to say it again. The A25 hotel that I booked through booking.com told me that foreigners could not stay at the hotel, so they took my bags to this nearby A25 hotel. This was inconvenient, and booking.com should not have accepted the booking with this being the case. The hotel rooms can be booked for 2hr periods and have condoms in the drawer. Breakfast is not kept warm. On 2 occasions I just had toast and jam because it was hot.

- GonzaloC318 (2/5): Please don't stay there - This is not an hotel for turists. The rooms are small, dark and smell like cigarrette. The staff in reception can't understand a single a single word of english. You can tell what kind of hotel is this just knowing that the rooms can be rented by the hour and condoms are provided in the mini-bar. We had 4 nights reserved there by the tour agency, we changed the hotel after the first one paying from our own pocket. Hanoi has plenty of acomodation at very reasonable prices. Please stay away from this.
- Arion_passage (6/5): Depressing place, just don't go there with family - There are at least two A25 hotels in Hanoi. I had the misfortune to spend two nights here, because a vietnamese colleague booked a room for me not knowing the profile of this one. It was on the cheap side, but one can easily find much better for the same price. There were several issues, which added slowly up. First off, most of the staff was unmotivated and spoke no or very poor english. Easy to notice that this hotel offers bed hours for prostitutes, condoms are gratis at the minibar, window is darkened and colored, louder-than-necessary music is playing non-stop in the hallways, and of course you'll see girls. The room was small, bed OK, smell of cigarette, the noise from draining water and the continous loud lobby music. There was plenty of hot water, but the bathroom window was broken and impossible to shut, this wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't January in Hanoi. Breakfast is minimal in a basement that resembles a rundown nightclub. The receptionist at check-in said they can arrange a motorbike, but the next morning he refused. Oh, and they didn't make up the room. I decided to move out asap when I met a histerically crying prostitute in the elevator.

It was super-basic, but was ultimately clean and safe. And if you came with nothing, there is one of everything in the room.

On the very first check out I gave more than 6M Vnd to front desk and she is so lovely girl that gave it back to me and took only the required amount and also spend some time to explain to me about vietnamese money with a lovely smile. Staff was always smiling and cheerful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rooms towards the street side are noisy due to night club at the ground floor was playing loud music.

- Verified traveler (2/5): 詐欺ホテル - 初日から部屋のカードキーが壊れていた為、交換をお願いしたが交換してもらえず、部屋に入る度に開けてもらう必要があり、非常に面倒くさかった。 バスタオルが2日間続けて部屋に用意されていなかった。 チェックアウトの際、身に覚えのない100ドル程の精算をするよう言われた。その時に英語を話せるスタッフもおらず、詳細が不明の為、結果的に払わずに済んだ。 有料の水を1点しか購入していないのに、2点購入したことになっていた。これは後日気が付いたため、お金を余分に払ってしまった。 対応も非常に悪く、身に覚えのない支払いを要求してくるため、おすすめしません。

- sr131 (10/5): Excellent service - Hospitality at its finest. Even though we weren't staying at the hotel. We were stranded in the rain at 4am in the morning waiting on a bus for Ha Long Bay. They saw us standing in the rain and offered us shelter and allowed us to hang out in the lobby for a few hours until our bus arrived. Very clean lobby and nice decor.

The reception staff are very friendly, helpful and their English is good. Great staff! Breakfast was ok to not good. Closer to a 2 star hotel and it does not represent the flavors of Hanoi. If that is the standard, than rather not serve breakfast. The room had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Apart from the bad breakfast, the floor was noisy with other guests. Stay here, yes!
- 932christinay (8/5): Pretty good - Good location, central to everything, especially the old quarter and the market, within walking distance to lots of landmarks. The room was pretty clean. Staffs were friendly, service-minded, breakfast they say would start at 6.30 but it was a little bit late than that , plus some sausages were finished at 9 am and they couldn't fill it. The gym looks good but we didn't use it though. On the first day we stayed on the third floor but the hot water shower didnt work. We asked for room change and they moved us to the new room right away. Other days we stayed on the second floor and it was a bit loud. Another annoying thing I can say is that theres a smell of smoke all the time and even on our blankets. However I would say it is good for this price. But going back? Maybe not.

Our suite on the 10th floor was beautiful with the city view. The hotel location is very convenient we walked everywhere ( Dong Xuan market, West Lake, old quater ete). Over all we had a wonderful time in Hanoi and would definitely stay here on our next trip to Vietnam.
- Oakworthgirl (6/5): Ok hotel - We stayed here 2 nights as part of a travel tour package. Its location in the old part of Hanoi is ok but feels a bit dirty. Rooms are ok, with all the usual amenities. Brieakfast is up on te 13th floor. The views are lovely but the breakfast room is small. Get there early as seating is limited. Free wifi but it is somewhat erratic.
- SteveDobosh (6/5): Totally average - My friends and I got pushed here from another hotel after Agoda overbooked them. The hotel is average. Breakfast was average. Service was average. The shower was hot but didn't seem to last long. Room is carpeted, which in my opinion is never good for mid-range hotels in SE Asia.
