- K1142HEtonya (4/5): Poorly managed hotel - We stayed here at the end of April 2026. After driving all day in the Olympic Natl Park, we were tired and ready for a nice hotel. When we drove up to the hotel, there were these large orange cones encircling the drive around in front of the entrance. Between the cones someone had tightly secured yellow tape making it near impossible to enter the hotel. There were cars parked in what appeared to be the hotel parking lot in front of the hotel. With the hotel entrance blocked it was still hard to determine if the place was open. It was fairly obvious that the roof was either being replaced or repaired as work trucks and roof tile were off to one side. Also, large plywood boards were placed against all the bottom windows in the front of the hotel. I had to lift the tape between the cones and bend over quite a bit to duck under them to walk to the entrance. I'm short, 5 ', so anyone taller really had to bend very low to get under the tape. When I entered the lobby, I saw a young man wearing an Addidas sweatshirt and a baseball cap behind the counter. He did not appear to be a Best Western employee, but he was talking to a customer. When they were finished, I asked the young man if he was a Best Western registration person and he cheerfully said yes. I told him about my doubts since the large orange cones with tape, plywood boards over the windows and his casual attire all pointed to a closed hotel. He was very nice and explained that the hotel roof was being replaced. I registered and tried to take the luggage rack to our car to unload it, but because the tape between the cones was so tight I could not get the rack to our car. Therefore, we had to unload our car, carry it to the luggage rack and then take it to our room located on the first floor (so that we would not hear the roof repair noise). The room was dark, so I immediately opened the drapes only to stare at the plywood board covering the window. The breakfast the next morning was very bland with no server in sight. There were several ladies at the front desk talking and not one of them greeted guests as the walked by to go to breakfast. This hotel is obviously not managed very well. l I would not recommend staying here.

A little difficult to find the correct driveway to their parking lot. And couldn’t turn the fan off on the cooling system..i could adjust the temperature, just not off..
- Edgar (10/5): It was very friendly with all questions - Close to Walmart
- Maria (8/5): - Clean rooms and comfy beds When I make my check in I explain the person the hotel charge me for the room already only the amount he need to charge me was the deposit but he charge me $331.76 and $184.22 I need my refund for that 😒
- Stanley (5/5): - The rooms were clean and the hot tub was nice. The staff suggested the 3d floor even though they were under new roof construction. It was very loud in the early Am and woke me.
- John (10/5): - It was ok

- Xuanwei (10/5): -
- Jeannie (4/5): Hard pass - It was close to fast food options while we traveled between Forks and Portland. A lady came into our room while we were sleeping accusing us of having a luggage cart (that we didn’t use) and kept staring at us while we were coming and going. I couldn’t sleep well after that. The pool and hot tub didn’t look clean either.

- 790mallorym (4/5): Bad customer service - Everything in the room was good, very clean, very organized, etc, but the customer service is crap they are very rude and disrespectful no need for negative comments or anything your job is to welcome the customer, help them, and tell them to enjoy there experience, not put you down and be rude no need for it. I’m giving this place 2 stars lucky it’s not 1 star rating from me…

- Angelika (9/5): -
- Susan (8/5): Nice place in a sad industrial town. - Loved the facility and the staff. Delicious breakfast. The location was sketchy. Didn’t feel comfortable going into the parking lot or walking to a nearby restaurant. Stopped by a fairly aggressive woman begging in your parking lot on her bicycle. Walking by a trashy lot with a group of homeless folks was unsettling.
- Michele (8/5): - Very nice and helpful staff.
- Janet (10/5): - Clean room.
- Telisha (10/5): - Love this place. It accommodates my family well.
- Keiji (2/5): -
- Cindy (5/5): Staff was fabulous…the room however smelled strongly of mold… - Good Our room smelled strong of mold
Homeless people walking thru parking lot
- Suzanne (8/5): - buffet wasn't great (limited selection, breakfast bufffet staff not very friendly) but otherwise it was a nice place to stay for a night.
- Christopher (6/5): - The hotel appears to have attempted a remodel, but a number of things are still outdated and dirty. There were numerous homeless people in the surrounding area and there are very limited decent restaurants nearby.
- ML3107 (7/5): - Lage Sauberkeit
- william (10/5): - Breakfast was great. Few hotels have biscuits and gravy. Hot tub felt great after a long day at Olympic NP
- Theodore J (6/5): - Floors were not vacuumed and bathroom had hair in in the tub
- BALTIMOREtravels (4/5): Advertised as smoke-free. Not my room. - They advertised as smoke free and newly renovated. I was in room 206…208.
Hotel advertises as Newley renovated and smoke free. The room I had smelled of smoke and all my things smelled of smoke for days. I informed the staff. They said the hotel used to be a smoking allowed. The furniture and carpet looked old. I suspect they need to be removed to get rid of the smoke smell. I kept the windows open all night. I don’t understand how management does not inspect rooms at least monthly, personally. You could not miss the smell unless you were a smoker. Almost $200 a night. I will stick with Hilton or Marriott. Sorry BW, you only get one chance to make a good first impression.
- David (10/5): - We staying only for 1 night with my wife!
Big room, nice and clean! Good breakfast, helpful and staff!
- Hal (10/5): -
- Tari (6/5): - The room smelled musty. That's o.k.
I really depended on the printing option and use of the computer in the lobby. They hadn't restarted the computer and I had to wait for 1 hour to print my items. The gentlemen at the front desk moves a little slow with no urgency and problem solving is not his strong point.
Breakfast was wonderful. Very nice ladies.
- Richard (5/5): - We simply needed a bed for the night as we made our way from Olympic National Park to Portland via Mount St Helens and the Best Western provided this. This is not the kind of hotel that I would want to stay at for more than a single night but it does not aim to be anything more than a convenient bed for the night and performs this role perfectly satisfactorily
- Charles (10/5): - Honestly I don't remember much and Aberdeen has its ups and downs but the historical import is pretty fun.
- Wolfgan (1/5): - They canceled my reservation but didn't send me a message or email.
- Carl (10/5): - Stayed here one night in early September as a starting point to our trip into Olympic National Park, this hotel was fine for our needs. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. We have no complaints with the room or services offered. The breakfast staff was also friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles and other standard hotel items (yogurt, fruit, breads, juice etc.) Beyond the hotel, we did not feel comfortable walking in the area further than the nearby Walmart. If you need a place to stay in Aberdeen, this is a good choice.
- Katie (8/5): -
- Karin (8/5): -
- Ida (9/5): - Pulizia, camera spaziosa, nuova. La colazione, con poca scelta ma comunque sufficiente e negli standard americani
- John (9/5): -
- Elida (8/5): - Clean rooms
- Jennifer (8/5): - Staff was great. The property and neighborhood has seen better days, but you can't beat the location close to the national park and waterfront. It was fun to watch the big boats.
- Douglas (10/5): Great recuperation stay. - Conveniently located on our route All was good
- Rachel (8/5): - Friendly staff and clean rooms! The pool and hot tub were open till midnight which was nice for late arrivals. Could definitely clean up the pool area a bit, but we still used it just fine!
- Richard (10/5): - Clean
- Laureen (10/5): - Nice clean room. Good breakfast! Love the Nespresso machine for coffee.
- Richard (9/5): Great hotel. Clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff and good breakfast - Good location, clean, comfortable, good breakfast options. No complaints! Nothing really.
- Brittany (2/5): - I typically don’t leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help others stay safe. My recent stay at this hotel was not only disappointing but also deeply concerning for personal safety.
Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed a punch hole in the bedroom door, a clear indicator of previous disturbances and lack of proper maintenance. The room itself was dirty, poorly maintained, and did not feel secure.
Outside the hotel, things were even more unsettling. There were visible instances of drug use and homeless individuals fighting near the property. To make matters worse, a loud train passed by at midnight, lighting up the entire room and making it impossible to sleep.
I attempted multiple times to contact the front desk regarding these concerns, but no one ever answered the phone. After four days of waiting to hear back, I finally spoke with Lisa, who identified herself as both the manager and the district manager. She informed me that the owner is aware of the issues but does not care, and that having security cameras outside is the extent of their efforts. I was also told no refund would be issued, despite the clear safety concerns.
This experience was not only uncomfortable — it was genuinely frightening. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to prioritize your safety and choose another location. The condition of the room, the environment surrounding the property, and the complete lack of customer support all point to a business that is
- silvio (8/5): -
- Andrey (8/5): - Breakfast was good. Decent room, free parking. Location quite remote - not many places to eat around. Also, unexpected requirement for a damage deposit $200. It was not an issue for us but could create some unforeseen problems.
- Luse (10/5): An amazing hotel - The staffs were absolutely amazing. The room were very clean.
- Harshit (10/5): - Excellent place
- Michael (10/5): - Great option for breakfast, the room was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable.
- Peter (9/5): -
- MV (7/5): Fidèle à Best Western ! - Fidèle à Best Western !
- Candi (10/5): -
- kurt (8/5): - The hotel and room were fine. The area around hotel, and the parts of aberdeen that i saw, were sketchy.
- William (7/5): The stay worked for one night and the staff was very nice. The carpet felt slightly damp but overall our room was clean - Location worked as a resting stop for our travels. The breakfast was good. It was comfortable and had a gym
