Andrew (4/5): This property has so much potential to be so much better, we wouldn't stay again. - Great garden location, lots of birds, beautiful timber building, easy check-in/out process. Good room setup. Property has heaps of potential to improve. Under different circumstances, this property could have been a 5-star property, but the following detracts from the experience: I woke up sweating multiple times during the night (too hot without air conditioning - My fault, I didn't read the room description carefully enough, but definitely would not have booked had I known). Sink is not deep enough, water jug had to be filled from the shower. Paper-thin walls, we could hear every snore and fart from other guests 2 rooms over. Couldn't sleep till after midnight - Inconsiderate guest above us made too much noise, we could hear loud sounds of something heavy getting dragged across the room every few minutes. For a place like this surrounded by gardens one would expect to wake up to the sounds of nature and birds - Instead, we woke up to the loud buzzing of gardening equipment (lawnmower or chainsaw...). A smile and a friendly greeting goes a long way - The onsite staff came across as rude and unfriendly, my wife felt the same. We wouldn't stay again, there are much better options in the Tablelands region, and we are regular visitors here.

Ali (6/5): - A quiet location but near the town. Nice balcony sitting space. Kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave were welcome additions to the room. We were in room 4 which has much more potential than realized. The room could have a cutting board, luggage racks or benches and better insulation for sound and light blocking. The bathroom was large but the cold water for the basin was inoperable and the hot water in the shower lacking any pressure.. A night light would also be useful as the light switch is awkwardly located. The outdoor space seems to not be maintained (swept) before new arrivals and the pool, though enjoyed by other guests, didn't appear inviting. Certainly not awful but we would not return or feel comfortable recommending based on our stay.

The walls are very thin. I really thought there was someone in the room moving around at 5.30 am! Carpark is tight. The coffee supplied was instant that had gone crusty and hard! I threw away for benefit of next occupant.

Unit 1 Dark,room with very old furniture,rocking chair creaking but the worst part were the beds.One bed creaked terribly,you couldn't move without a lot of noise.The bed by the window sagged in the middle,old thin matress.The pool and pool area not maintained,dirty couldn't swim in it.Too many rules and no personal contact,made us feel not very welcome.

nicole (5/5): Ok for a night but couldn't recommend. - Nice garden and good shower with quality water. The noise from the upstairs floor. The fact that the upstairs guests had to walk through our outdoor sitting area to get to their car multiple times - not really any private outdoor space. The bed was so squeaky that it made a lot of noise whenever anyone moved. The rocking chair in the room also squeaked. Recommended one restaurant by Host as the only good place to eat in town but only two very mundane things on the menu (which was in the room) for a vegetarian to eat. Instead, found a northern Indian restaurant with excellent vegetarian food and multiple items to choose from. Unfortunately this didn't make the recommendation list from host.

The location is peaceful and quiet and relaxing and plenty of Birdlife to enjoy. Will be looking forward to seeing the developments the next time I need to stay in Atherton. Cannot recommend highly enough. Nothing.

We had everything we needed plus more, and felt nicely welcomed that we would have felt we could ask if there was anything else we did need.

Apartment 1 where I stayed had a glass door which didn't have a curtain or something to cover it. I felt there could have been some privacy where this was concerned. The TV didn't work.
