- cheek (6/5): great location and staff...old resort - location is very good, very rough road to get here thought...
breakfast was very nice...
staff were excellent ,fun and accommodating... bed and rooms are old needs renovating...
- Shiree (9/5): Beautiful location, clean beach and amazing snorkeling! - The view was the best! Great location with beautiful sunrises and calm snorkeling, right across the road and onto the beach, although not a sand beach, bring your reef shoes for the large pebbles! How many large stairs to get to our room. It was pretty noisy! From roosters, dogs, bikes and a local night club.

- Roisin (10/5): Beautiful place with beautiful people - From the moment we stepped into the Baliku we were met with smiles and a welcome drink. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were so kind and approachable and excellent at their jobs. We were sad to say goodbye. The view from the rooms and the room itself was gorgeous, very clean and spacious . Stunning pool area with lovely views. The food was the best food we had on our whole trip to Bali, absolutely top class food. We regretted not staying here longer and are very excited to come stay again.
- Dan (10/5): Will be back for sure next time in Amed. - Great location, a little out of the busy part of Amed. Great view, sun beds, candles all the stuff for a romantic stay.
- Phil (9/5): - Resort had amazing views of beach and mountains from your room , pool was excellent, food and staff outstanding
- philiplozach (8/5): Une nuit - Etablissement ouvert il y a quelques annees. Chambres grandes et spacieuses, climatisation, salon et terrasse devant, belle vue mer. moustiquaire. Tres sympa
- Ann (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay at 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙪. - The staff are amazing. The views from the rooms are incredible. Food was great and a lovely quiet boutique style accommodation. The stairs are a necessity for the views 😀
- Felismina (10/5): - Tout
C était vraiment super
- Eric (9/5): Dive.Resort No Dive Shop - The views where amazing great sunrises. Its name you would assume it has a dive shop .It doesn't.

- Cherniavskaia (10/5): -
- Neil (10/5): - Very friendly. Suyasa had made sure that everything is taken care of. The staff are friendly. The pool is so clean and not over chlorinated like so many others in Bali. Amazing views from my room. I'd stay again if in Amed.
- Bonnie (9/5): Stunning views, romantic room, excellent snorkeling spot just off the beach - Very close to excellent snorkeling beach. Lovely 4 poster bed. Beautiful sea view A bit noisy when we first arrived, there was a happy celebration in the village, for a new baby, we later learned
- Susan (10/5): Always a lovely stay - As always, the amazing staff, so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They arranged a beautiful sunset boat cruise for us and even an Esky for our Bintangs.
Our room was one of the lower rooms but still had amazing views. The sunrises are exquisite.
The staff keep it super clean with daily housekeeping if required. I like hard beds but the beds are just a little too hard for me.
- Julio (8/5): - We loved the staff. They went above and beyond to organise the snorkeling trip for us, as well as transfer back to Sanur.
The food was good. And little details, like mosquito spray, helpful staff, clean property, pool
- Danny (10/5): -
- graham (8/5): Superb stay but oh, those motorcycles! - Superb views, lovely room, great restaurant Everything was superb. Our only problem was something that the hotel cannot control. That is the almost constant racket from passing motorbikes whose owners eschew the use of silencers/mufflers. Such a pity that they spoil the lovely location.
- Kate (10/5): - Breakfast was lovely, the staff were so lovely!!! the bed and room was comfortable and was cleaned so well, the pool was protected and had shade, lovely pool, the gardens were beautiful, wonderful stay, very very happy we stayed at Baliku! Nothing
- Sridhar (9/5): -
- Hamish (7/5): - Beautiful room and pool. Great food in the restaurant Lack of hot water. No satellite TV as advertised. No longer serving cocktails.
- earthsuitlife (6/5): Extremely noisy sadly - Staff very kind, food good, pool great but the noise is full on. It overseas a village and it can be incredibly loud. If your looking for peace, it’s not for you,
- Susan (10/5): - This place was amazing. It felt like being in the Mediterranean. The view from my room was spectacular and in the morning the sea was full of boats with colourful sails. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was great with a large balcony and day beds to relax on. The food was excellent. A beautiful place to relax. The snorkelling is just across the road. This is no fault of the hotel, but be aware that there are a lot of steps up to the hotel and to the rooms but well worth the climb!
- Lili (9/5): -
- Cushla (8/5): Enjoyed our short stay at Baliku - Great food, lovely staff, spacious and comfortable rooms.
- buddy darrell (10/5): - The shining star for this excellent resort was the staff. This resort was clean and the food was excellent. But the real star of the show was the outstanding staff at the resort. I have never had such polite and helpful people at a resort. Any negative areas that this resort has is more than made up for in the quality of their employees. I will return to this resort in the future.
- Patricio (9/5): -
- Allison (10/5): Great - Everything I was looking for ,it’s very quiet, hard to get around without a scooter ect,but for me I was there for the amazing views snorkeling is a must in the clear waters and easily swim out to do so great relaxing stay Stairs only if you have top rooms but view was worth the climb for me personally
- Solange (10/5): -
- Alison (9/5): Felt like paradise! - The room was absolutely incredible. It had views to die for, seen from every angle. There’s a huge sun bed and dining table on the patio, then the massive 4 poster bed, dressing room/kitchenette and the beautiful bathroom. Everything was clean and well cared for. The staff are amazing, special thanks to Basir and Bakir for making the stay so welcoming! They helped with everything I needed (scooter and snorkel gear) with a huge smile and a chat. Room service is available. Not the fault of the hotel, but it was really noisy during my stay. Next door is a farm and the first night the animals were going crazy all night. On the second day the neighbours played very, very loud music for hours, blasting it through a megaphone. I had to use noise cancelling headphones to maintain the serenity. Overall, still worth it, 10/10!
- Jenni (10/5): Loved the Elevation & Views. Enjoyed our Stay -
- EMILIE (9/5): Séjour très agréable - La chambre spacieux
Personnel très agréable
Bonne restauration
- Annie (8/5): Loved the property, very comfortable and stylish - Great unique property gives privacy to each bungalow, loved that they had refrigerators and kettles with coffee/tea supplies and huge bathtub with candles for relaxing. Views from even the lowest bungalow, number 1 was great! The outside patios enormous with fabulous lounging areas to relax plus a dining area. We had our meals room delivery and used what’s app to order, very convenient. Pool water was just right. Food from the kitchen delicious. Great that we could use a safe too. The stairs!! I can’t really do Bali steps anymore, even with Donna kindly putting us in Bungalow 1 the lowest, found it quite the challenge. But if you’re not too old you’d love it.
- Isabelle (8/5): Vue panoramique - La vue panoramique est magnifique !

- Nazleen (7/5): It was a very chill place - The view The soap and shampoo was watery and the soap provided had no foam.
- Bawurung (8/5): Very good - The view and also the location of the hotel very close to the water
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Lydia (9/5): Great views and very beautiful place to stay - The room was beautiful
Fabulous ocean view
Lovely porch to sit in with dining area and a huge day bed
The bathroom was lovely with bath included, nice towels and candles
Bed was large and comfortable..
Beautiful polished concrete walls and floors The manjo juice for breakfast was not nice at all..
Small issue i know..but tasted like water with odd speck of mango whipped in there.
Sorry to complain
- Emma (10/5): Time of our lives! - The most amazing staff work at this hotel. So friendly and helpful. They made our stay extra special. The location is fabulous, with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The village is full of the loveliest people. The food is superb. I would live here if I could!
- Cristina (8/5): Very good -
- Sonia (8/5): Beautiful and peaceful - Beautiful view of the sea, comfortable bed, and great selection of food at the restaurant. It’s also further away from the centre of Amed so it’s more peaceful. The shower head is angled weird so unless you hold it yourself, you’ll get water all over the bathroom floor.
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (10/5): Beautiful views, huge room and fantastic value. - The room felt very luxurious. Enormous four poster bed with romantic mosquito net. Walk in wardrobe and huge bathroom. All tiled in stone. The terrace was also huge with a raised platform for two day beds and a dining table with chairs. Also a handy drying rack. The views were just incredible. We stayed in room 3 which had a wonderful view as it was in an elevated position. Catching the sea breeze, looking past the frangipani trees to the ocean beyond, watching boats come and go. We spent a full week here and it was so relaxing. The staff were very friendly/helpful and arranged a massage lady to come to our room and snorkelling boat trip and transport. The food from the restaurant was great and the pool clean and refreshing. The whole establishment had a Mediterranean vibe and provided excellent value for money. There is a handful of great warungs and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk to the north and great snorkelling at the Japanese shipwreck right out front. Cannot recommend this place more highly and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay.
- Moksha (9/5): Beautiful stay, wonderful staff! - Staying at this resort was a truly pleasant experience. The rooms were well-appointed and offered impressive views of both the mountains and the ocean, providing a beautiful backdrop to our stay. I loved the design of the rooms and decorations that were simple yet chic. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The combination of comfortable accommodations, scenic surroundings, and good service made for a memorable visit. While our stay had its pleasant aspects, particularly the kind staff, there were a few noticeable drawbacks in the room and dining experience. We observed mold in both the bathroom and kitchen areas, which was a concern for cleanliness. Additionally, the breakfast did not meet our expectations, especially given the hotel's self-promotion of its culinary offerings and chef. We ended up eating out for most meals instead of utilizing the hotel's service. Despite these small issues, the overall stay was still pleasant, largely thanks to the genuinely kind staff and stunning views.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (7/5): Good - There was a beautiful view from the room, and the room itself was great. Comfortable bed, spacious, aircon and big bathroom albiet only an over bath shower. Staff were all wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was also great. Food was nice to which is lucky as there isn't much else around. There is literally nothing around the hotel. Couple of places to eat but that's about it. The dive shop is closed as well, so although you can dive with a local guy around the corner, who was great. There isn't anything at the hotel, so it isn't a dive resort. The road getting there is really bad to so getting into Amed is a bit of a mission so popping out to other places is also a bit of a pain.
- Georgia (10/5): Fabulous - Beautiful location, view and villas. Food was exceptional, and so many options. Staff organised a snorkeling trip which was amazing.
- Kilgariff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (9/5): relaxing and enjoyable staff were great - A little far off the beaten track but very relaxing Hot water could have been better
- Susan (10/5): A beautiful spot to stay in Amed - A beautiful resort, lovely staff, great snorkeling off the beach. My room was very clean and had the most incredible sea and mountain views. Really comfortable bed. Yummy breakfasts. Situated in the south part of Amed where life is still mostly unaffected by tourists. I enjoyed going for long walks. Plenty of warungs nearby, within walking distance Nothing
- Narelle (9/5): Baliku Dive Resort - Beautiful resort. Spectacular views. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Villas were very clean and comfortable. Restaurant meals were very nice. Didn't like all the stairs, but hey...was a beautiful place to stay.
- Laurence (8/5): Very good -
- Roux (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kwok (9/5): A getaway from all resort - Large Bedroom with large outside living area. A quiet, away from Amed centre. Fantastic views of sea and mountains. All staff were polite and helpful. Nice inclusive breakfast. Resort is remote, and many steps to the bedroom. It's not suitable for lower limbs disabled persons.
- Nuria (6/5): Pleasant -
- Beata (10/5): Great to work online and rest in peaceful and welcoming environment! - Absolutely LOVED my 3 weeks at Baliku Dive Resort! I came to write in peaceful calm and inspiring surroundings. And that is exactly how it was. The staff were incredible. Everything was sparkling clean including the pool. The food blew me away (seriously, those chefs!!!). Three meals a day for three weeks, always nourishing menu selection from international to Balinese cuisine. The homemade coconut ice cream with chocolate sauce was the bomb. The waiters were so friendly and attentive, making me feel truly at home. My rooms were carefully and orderly serviced and my bed and pillows crisp and so very comfortable. Always well stocked and free bottled water each day. Plus, Diyon, my driver, was a star! and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend! #BalikuResort #BaliBliss
- Divya (10/5): Comfortable stay! - Beautiful property located in a very pretty locale in Amed. Hardly 20 steps away from a pebble beach and a few meters to the Japanese ship wreck site. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very efficient, the food was really good and the views are to die for! The rooms were really clean and inviting. Loads of options nearby for food and drink though we stayed put at the property itself. Lots of options to dive and snorkel around the property. Rooms themselves are huge, roomy and very thoughtfully spaced out. The placement of various rooms offers a lot of privacy for each occupant. The pool looked very inviting though we didn’t manage to get around to using it. The hotel is located on a hill contributing to the great views. However, that means it was challenging to go up and down to the rooms, restaurant or pool.
Another thing to keep in mind is bugs, lizards and other fauna amongst the flora. Don’t be surprised to be woken up by hoots or croaks.
These were not deal breakers for my group but people have to keep this in mind.
- Damien (10/5): - Nice room, everything clean & working nicely. Amazing view from room. It's a more classic Bali design, not a modern design but everything worked nicely, good Wifi. Room had terrace overlooking the ocean with a dining room table and lounge area. Amed is a quiet area, but a solid choice.
- Rashad (10/5): Magic place, great staff - Cleanness, spacious, originality, view, pool Cannot find any
- Mark (9/5): Lovely and friendly place to stay - The staff were wonderful, the villas were very clean and the food was great
- isabellefX1129FC (10/5): Great hotel, amazing views and lovely staff - Such a beautiful hotel, in a beautifully untouched part of Bali, Amed. As mentioned by other travellers, the rooms are very spacious, clean and with amazing view of the sea and sunrise. The cleanliness is something I particularly noted, the room, bedsheets and bathroom all very spotless. The bed was comfortable, covered by a mosquito net for protection (but was not an issue on this trip).
The rest of the hotel, particularly the pool is beautiful. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful.
The food served at the hotel was excellent. Some delicious authentic Balinese cuisine as well as international dishes; all really fresh and tasty.
As a solo traveller I felt really safe here and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Amed. It is a little bit outside Amed, but in my opinion so worth it because you are set on the cusp of the mountains and the sea, observing the way the locals live.
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antti (9/5): Superb - Good breakfast. Nice staff. Beautiful views. Lot of steps to uphill rooms.
Noisy roosters on neighbours! ...just a joke ;D
- Xihong (8/5): If you are into snorkeling this is a great place to stay. Staff are very helpful, trying their best to meet our needs. - Location (opposite Japanese Shipwreck if you are into snorkeling), hospitality (the staff are very friendly and helpful), food. Our 2 bedroom villa doesn’t have proper shower. The shower head is over the bathtub, without proper shower screen. This means the floor is splashed with water after shower. You will have to sit in the bathtub to have shower.
- Claire (10/5): Perfect stay! Staff amazing and so helpful. - Overall I had a great stay here! Staff were amazing and so helpful. Had an early checkout and they even made a packed breakfast for us!
- John (9/5): We came for snorkeling at the Japanese Wreck located close to Baliku and we will be back for more. - The breakfast was great with a big selection. The muesli was just how we like it and the black rice pudding was superb.
We were on the top level with a magnificent view. The 79 steps up above from reception well worth the climb. Large rooms with a kingsize bed.
Staff very friendly
- Yohanes (9/5): Beautiful stay with the family - Distance to Snorkling spot The stairs
- Kevin (10/5): - Lovely property on a hill with fabulous views to the ocean. Do yourself a favor and get the villa. It has a lounging area and a dining room table with million dollar views to the sea. Are there a lot of stairs? Yes. So it might not be for everybody. But, you can WhatsApp them with your dinner order and they'll bring it right up to your patio table. Is it far out from the main town? Yes, but you can rent a scooter or get a ride into town. If you want to get away from the crowds, this place is for you. Do you dive? Or want to learn? Baliku works in tandem with Adventure Divers Bali for all your diving. They are a professional, first-rate dive operator, with amazing local dive masters to take you to all the popular dive sites. And they pick you up from the hotel each day and drop you back off. What could be better?
- Blaze (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alana (10/5): Stunning views - Great views and beautiful accomodation. Very close to the best dive shop and very friendly staff.
- Flavio (7/5): Good - Very friendly Staff and an amazing view from the top Villa. Located at the end of amed Community but very quiet Nothing to complain.
- Kathinka (10/5): Wonderful place to stay -
- Blaze (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crystal (10/5): wonderful! I would highly recommend this place to anyone (unless you are frightened of steps! :) - The view from our room was absolutely stunning, felt like looking down from the top of a Greek island. Being able to lie on our daybed outside was wonderful. And great proximity to the Japanese shipwreck. The staff were so friendly, lovely and helpful. The steps were a challenging workout, but the staff were so helpful carrying up all our heavy bags for us
- Elias_0000 (5/5): Good view but outdated. - The sea view from the room was phenomenal. The location right on the beach - great for snorkelling or diving. Not the best area in Amed and not the best beach but ok for 1-2 days. Some Stuff members were very friendly. We were greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom right at the beginning. There are ants on the terrace, mosquitos in abundance (we then got a mosquito coil, a mosquito plug and a spray for the room (this worked). The rooms don't look very well kept or clean - the toilet seat looked unhygienic (photo attached).
The rooms are worn out, the furniture old. Despite the description, there was no TV. Room cleaning is only superficial and very sloppy (there are accommodations in Bali that are really clean and top). But it was surpassed by the farm next door - the roosters crowed all night, dogs barked and goats mowed. This robbed us of sleep for 2 nights and sometimes some pub nearby plays loud music. The ‘curtains’ also don't provide any protection from the light in the morning. Showering is a challenge as either the whole bathroom gets wet or you have to hold the shower head in your hand - it is not possible to regulate hot and cold properly.
- Veronica (9/5): very nice stay - -the view from our room was incredible
-good breakfast and fresh juice
-high chair available
-staff is friendly and nice
-room was cleaned everyday
-nice pool and pool towel available -step stairs, if you don't have healthy knees is better to avoid the rooms on the top
-20 minutes ride away from Amed center, but with a motorbike is not a problem
- Cath (8/5): Very good -
- 783jukkaa (10/5): Nice and tidy - Very clean and peaceful hotel. Located near to the beach. Our Room was very tidy and offered a great seaview. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We Warmly recommend the snorkeling Tour by Tujuki as well. Would come here again. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. No mosquitos.
- Batur (9/5): Nice stay in Amed Area - We had the room at top floor, stunning view. Very clean room, enormous bed and very confortable. Delicious breakfast and we also had diner at the hotel which was also okay. Well 20 minutes by scooter from Amed centre. But it is right in front of the Japanese Ship Wrack. Perfect snorkeling point.
- Alen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Beautiful views between the volcano and the sea - Loved it. View was amazing. Volcano one side ocean the other. Staff were great. Shipwrecks close by to snorkel
- Tamar (9/5): Stunning views, spacious rooms, friendly staff and great snorekling nearby. A gem of a place! - The stunning view from the balcony and the outdoor specious bed which meant we could sleep outside, listening to the waves and waking up to see the amazing sunrise (overlooking the mountains of Lombok). Otherwise, the staff are helpful and friendly, the pool is great and the rooms are specious and clean. Great value for money too compared to other places in the area. Great snorkeling walking distance.
