They could well be ok for other people. Being over 187cms tall I found the beds slightly on the short side.

Pippa was a fantastic host, accommodating and friendly with excellent communication. I felt safe and right at home as a solo traveller. My room was SPOTLESS and had everything I needed for my one night stay. The location was ideal. Walking distance to everything you should need within the village. Next time I stay I look forward to eating an evening meal within the restaurant / pub as I never got chance to this time!

• Mark (9/5): It was a lovely place to stay and I would stay again - The food was superb, and the decor created a charming, homely atmosphere. The room was generously sized, featuring an exceptionally comfortable bed that I believe is the best I've ever slept in, barring my own bed. Additionally, the room was impeccably clean. Thanks to its location, noise was minimal, and street sounds were barely audible. Conveniently, parking was right outside the room. I appreciated the lovely touch of having a table and chairs just outside the room in a charming private courtyard. The check-in process was rushed, and I could have had more information when I arrived and been made to feel a little more welcome. It would have been nice to have a separate lock on the room door instead of using the key to lock yourself in. Checking out, I had no idea where to leave the keys as the main property was locked, and no one was present except a cleaner I found.

Difficult to find .Even though it was closed it would have been helpful to at least have an illuminated sign as we arrived when it was dark.and we went round in circles for a bit. We had two rooms one room was spacious but the other double room was very cramped.

Fabulous touch having real plunger coffee available in the room. Very comfortable, spacious, light and clean. Wonderful breakfast and very pleasant hosts. Creaky and noisy as people come in, go upstairs and walk around in the upstairs room above the ground floor accommodation. This is the only thing and once all in rooms, lovely and quiet, comfortable sleep.

They made sure we had a fantastic meal when we arrived even though the kitchen was due to close early for the bank holiday. • Ingrid (8/5): Guter Zwischenstopp - Alles sehr gut geeignet, um einen Zwischenstopp zu machen. Die Zimmer befinden sich in einem Trakt, der nicht an der Straße liegt und sind ruhig. Dieser Teil wirkt frisch renoviert mit einigen netten Ideen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind außerdem sehr sauber. Im Pub gibt es wirklich gutes Essen zu durchschnittlichen Preisen. Parken geht auf dem Hof. Das Bad war doch etwas eng und den Gebrauch des Durchlauferhitzers muss man sich erarbeiten. Wasser kommt auf Druck des unteren Knopfes und wird durch langes drücken abgestellt.

The accommodation was very comfortable and I will certainly stay there again when in the area. Nothing to add.

Accommodation is in a separate mews cottage at the rear of the property. I was expecting a standard guest house bedroom so this exceeded my expectations. • Mary (9/5): Good food, comfortable rooms and great value for money - The Evening meal and Breakfast were very good . The room was clean and comfy and the WiFi was fast and reliable ( I was staying for work reasons, so this was important). The price of my stay was great value and the facilities and food exceeded what I was expecting for the price.

I loved the small detail of a cafetiere in the room. The decor was tasteful and the location pleasant. My only minus is that the mattress was too hard.
