Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Taxi schnell vom Flughafen zu erreichen. Das war ideal für uns! Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war lecker mit selbstgebackenen Brot und gutem Kaffee. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet Die Matratze in dem Zimmer mit Gartenblick war nicht ganz so bequem , wie die in dem anderen Zimmer mit Meerblick.

They baked us home-made bread and mango jam with an omelette and fruit! So delicious! Slept with the windows open to the sound of the waves. Amazing and lovely owners! • Barbara (5/5): Better - Directions were thorough The host were on hand at all times and very helpful with our lugguage and welcome spiel. The guest entrance is through a large garden leading to a small patio area. Fridge and water provided. Keys to secure the room. My mother was able to rest a while and more comfortably than in the airport as she was unwell. A short walk from the property is one shop and the Ocean Spray appartments, where we were able to get a half decent lunch and some Bajan history from the owners dsughter Host reduced charge for our few hours of stay. We were only staying for the afternoon during our 11 hr airport transfer. The property is located 15-20mins drive from the airport in a very quiet residential area. We were dropped off by taxi and entered by the back entrance. I found this entrance a little untidy and not fresh smelling. The guest entrance is through a large garden leading to a small patio area and is much more appealing. There is not much of a view from the windows and not much to do locally. Host asked for payment to be settled before we had even settled. The room is in a shared house, I assume we had access to the ktichen if needed but there was no coffee/ kettle in the room, a fridge with water provided, though this was outside of the room. Our shared toilet was blocked and flooded after one use so we had to use the other ensuite bathroom which was just being vacated by other guest and left open and accessible with the guests personal belongings inside. I had already succumb to paying less as the whole facility/stay did not meet good standards so we left earlier than planned.
• Ben (9/5): The hosts and their vibe make this a great stay for arrival and departure from - Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast.

I asked a glutton of questions and Geri gave me insight into local culture, transport, money, places to see and avoid, and many other tips that make it look like I had been living there for years.
• Alana (10/5): Come for the island; stay for the hospitality! - I love that this property is within a neighborhood - far away from tourists and loud music. The hosts were exceptional and the property was just as described. You will want to hire a private driver to get into town if you’re not a fan of public transportation. Just an FYI—they have a cat. I didn’t see it or smell it, but if you have allergies, you might want to find another location. I would stay here again!! Not applicable.

• michelle (6/5): Kinda yuck, but nice people - The people who run this little B&B are so sweet that I hate to say anything negative. And normally, for small things, I would let it go. But this place needs some serious work. Shabby old towels, shabby and threadbare stained sheets, dirty corners everywhere. If someone would just clean it properly, it would improve the experience exponentially. But there were good things about it too-- the lovely proprietress, the homemade breakfast (and tea from a cup that was horribly stained on the inside though 😩), the natural breezes and location.

• Andreia (8/5): Ok for a night near the airport - We were very well welcomed and treated. Breakfast was good with home made things. You can see they care for you and want you to have a good time. Near the airport by taxi, we stayed on night for transit. The bed and pillows were not great. The bathroom was not very well cleaned : the cups to brush the teeth had toothpaste from someone else, the soap holder in the shower was full of soapy water from someone else and there were some hairs also not ours. They also advertise the room as having access to kitchen items and that is not the case. When I made the booking I had that in consideration because I wanted to be able to cook dinner since we were coming from Bequia (ferry plus flight) and were going to arrive too late to find restaurants and etc open.
• Susan (1/5): Very upsetting should have stayed five nights, but late arriving so had to stay one night. - a good home made breakfast tiny bedroom only suitable for a single, very dirty bathroom had squeaky bed pushed in a corner so not easy to get out if you were on the inside. Very over priced. Left as soon as we could the next morning. I very costly mistake as no compensation. Rebooked for rest of our stay in a much better place which was clean and comfy and not over priced.

She had reached out to us beforehand with advice about how to find a taxi at the airport, and booked one for us the following day.

We had two weeks near Rockley Beach and the two nights here were a perfect way to relax at the end of our trip. Geri has had an interesting life and I loved hearing about her experiences!

Geri came to greet us and show us round when we arrived and pointed us to the local convenience store and bar which was very welcome after a long flight! The location is PERFECT for a nice chilled getaway, 15 mins drive from the airport and 5 min walk to the beach which was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, big thanks to Geri! We only stayed the night but would have happily stayed longer! Nothing - it was the perfect first place to stay on the island!

• Melva (10/5): - I was welcomed with open arms almost felt like I was visiting extended family. The area is safe and walkable down to the beach. The beach is more for surfers but it has its areas where you can get enjoy it. I was able to walk to the neighborhood store to pick up some snacks, drink etc. The room was clean with air conditioning. I got a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good specially after a run that I had taken around the neighborhood. It’s close to the airport and they helped with my transportation to the airport. I would stay here again and the hospitality was excellent.

• Damien (10/5): Quick layover on way to Bequia - I was flying from London to Bequia but my transatlantic flight to Barbados was re scheduled meaning I would miss my connection. I had to stay the night in Barbados and needed just a room for 1 near the airport. Found Gemini B&B for a reasonable rate and booked for 1 night. Was welcomed on arrival by Geri after have received excellent instructions regarding getting a taxi from the airport. I was shown to the room which had a big firm bed, tv, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom and toilet was next door which I had sole use of. Geri booked me a cab for the morning back to the airport and made me breakfast of an omelette, toast, juice, fruit and coffee. The room provided me with everything that I needed at a very reasonable price. My only suggestion would be to de-scale or replace the shower head as it was a bit clogged up. Overall, an excellent stay and recommended. Many thanks to Geri and Steve.

The environment was clean and cozy and I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a homelike environment. One of my biggest peeve about this place were the flies, however, they were only outside.

• DMMDJM (10/5): Warm and Welcoming B&B with great hosts! - Charming B & B in a great location - close to beaches and airport. Our hosts Geri and Steve couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and fun. Geri is a great cook who made us a delicious and filling breakfast and connected us with one of the island's best Taxi drivers! We would stay with them again in a heart beat!
• Tony (10/5): - The couple running this guest house were delightful - friendly, helpful and kind. They also put us up again at very short notice when our departure flight was cancelled and we were otherwise without accommodation. It's a great spot. Highly recommended.
