Coffee, tea and pantry was always stocked, and the front desk was so warm and inviting to us every time we passed them. Complimentary laundry was a huge bonus especially with kids. We would definitely stay here again without thinking twice.

- Erica (5/5): - The staff, and facilities were great. We did have a clog in our toilet, and there was no Bible in the room, other than that the staff and facilities were amazing. I didn't like the fact that there were children everywhere and the pool and hot tub were pretty unusable for adults who wanted to enjoy their stay without their own children, but were subject to other people's children.

- Diggs (8/5): Most staff are great. Be careful at pool/spa - It’s a nice little home away from home get away . Although through our stay most of the staff was very pleasant (Thank you all). The pool was heavy with chlorine all three days we went tho the pool/spa our eyes burned a lot of visitors were coughing after being in the area after some time and all three days at least one person vomited. On another note this was our second stay here and this is the first time we’ve experienced any of this . (We will however try again) The day manger who told me she was strict and would kick my family out if we made loud noise because it’s a business hotel and people stay there to work (we play kid friendly music at the pool) no one at the pool complained to my knowledge. They wee actually bobbing their heads to K-pop demon hunters And baby by Justin be bier so we’re the kid. Anywho she said word for word she’d kick us out and not give us a refund . .
- kristinx2014 (10/5): Home away from home - Review: Staybridge Suites Albany-Wolf Rd (Colonie, NY) I’ve been staying at the Staybridge in Colonie for a while now, and it has consistently felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a comfortable, long-term stay in a perfect location, this is a top-tier choice. The Highlights The Staff: Every single person at the front desk is amazing. They are professional, welcoming, and truly go out of their way to help. The Room: The beds are "addicting" and incredibly comfy—it’s hard to get out of them in the morning! The rooms are spacious, the kitchens are much larger than what you’d find elsewhere, and the shower pressure is excellent. The Perks: Having dinner provided three nights a week is a huge value-add. Plus, the coffee here is much better than the standard hotel fare. Amenities: The pool and hot tub are great features that definitely add to the relaxation. Room for Improvement The only real downside is the lack of supervision in the pool area. I really wish management would more strictly enforce the rule regarding no unsupervised children in the pool/hot tub. It would make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone. Staybridge vs. Homewood Suites Having stayed at their sister hotel, Homewood Suites, here is how they stack up: Staybridge Wins: Better dinner service, superior front desk staff, larger rooms/kitchens, and much more comfortable beds. Homewood Wins: They have a better (larger) breakfast, pool, and hot tub. A Suggestion for Staybridge Homewood Suites offered some fun entertainment during my stay, which was a huge plus. I’d love to see Staybridge implement something similar, like a family karaoke night or a monthly family entertainment event. I would definitely book my stays around those events!

- Freedom66397821002 (10/5): Where we always stay in Albany - We always stay at this hotel when we visit Albany, my hometown. The facility is very comfortable with a great breakfast each day. During the week they have a social hour in the evening where you can meet fellow guest or just have a glass Of wine or beer and some Finger foods. It’s a very convenient place to stay with many eating options in walking distance. It’s our go to Place For a reason, actually many reasons.

- carlosmF7127KI (10/5): Breakfast and diner are the best! - The gift of cooking of Kelly and Yaritza are exceptional they give their 100% on Wednesday diner it’s Friday morning and we are already talking about next Wednesdays diner! The whole staff help too.

- Cathleen (1/5): Horrible/never again - Nothing Found a large knife and possible drugs in the couch, blood in my pillowcase, room had nit been cleaned , arrived an hour after check in time and room still was not ready. No toile paper in the room, dirty stove, old/used coffee filter still in the coffee maker and manager was supposed to call me and never did.

- Guest (10/5): I received a premium hotel experience without realizing I would be getting one. - The free breakfast exceeded my expectations. The room was phenomenal - It was huge, immensely clean, and honestly made our stay at the hotel part of our routine while staying. Everything was immaculate within our room and the full hotel. The staff were not just accommodating, they were exceptional. With the beautiful building, activities, pool, hot tub, and proximity to the massive shopping center (and restaurants!) the hotel was, itself, a destination in my vacation. I never knew I'd be getting that here, but I am immensely pleased that I did. For the cost, Staybridge Suites was fantastic. It was a premium hotel experience in all definitions of the word. I would have loved room service, but at the price point I paid, I didn't expect it. It would have been a bit nicer if there was an elevator in closer proximity to the hotel lobby as well.

- C8741PDcraigb (10/5): Great!!! I will be back! - I want to give this place a shout out, because it's rare to have this kind of care, atmosphere, and experience in a bigger city. ALL of the staff appear to be hard workers, and do a great job making this place feel like a home away from home. I would like to give special recognition to Liz, Sami, Lola, and Yaritza for making yummy breakfasts and evening snacks (basically a light dinner) and just being awesome! I can see the extra care that Liz and Sami put into their jobs: constantly checking on everything (Sami), turning the food and checking it (Liz), and keeping everything clean! As an employer, I see the great job they are doing. And their honesty! Impressive. Also a great spot near good restaurants, a nice mall, etc.! Room cleaners do a great job! (I notice things). Pool is clean and there's towels!! Lol Exercise room is awesome. Period. Guy gets locked out of a room, there's someone on it right away. During a snowstorm! A great team that works together. Great job all! I will be back!

- 510cipriand (10/5): Outstanding! - We only paid 88$ through super.com. ( 104$ ) including taxes. The room was super big. The pool was comfortable even though we came here at thanksgiving. The breakfast was exceptional and last night they even had some soups and salads for free. Outstanding!!!

- 558williamf (10/5): Perfect - Highly Recommend - I am a retired Director and worked internationally spending 150 to 200 days a year traveling – I know hotels! I am staying at the IHG Staybridge Suites, Wolf Road, Albany NY for the month helping a family member. I have been nothing but impressed with this hotel and give it a 5 star rating as follows: 1) my room is spacious, well laid out, modern, quiet, clean with all the amenities needed for an extended stay (i.e. kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove tops, cooking ware, table ware, etc.) 2) The staff is professional, friendly and engaging – the staff looks happy to be working here and I have not seen any turnover. The staff I have met providing outstanding customer service include Michael the Director of sales, Jim the chef (great breakfast every morning and a social hour 3 days a week) along with Lataysha and Lorenzo working the Front desk. Maintenance and housekeeping service have also been impressive. 3) Nice facility: the work out room has modern equipment along with the laundry room and the pool & hot tub is perfect. There is also a courtyard with tables, a gas fire pit and barbecue – nice! Finally, the hotel is in walking distance to the Colonie Mall so ever thing you need is close by along with many nice restaurant options nearby. Great Job! Thank You! Bill

The staff here are absolutely outstanding — always friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They go out of their way to make sure every guest feels welcome and comfortable, whether it’s remembering your name, helping with special requests, or just greeting you with a smile after a long day. The rooms are always spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, which makes long stays so much easier. The breakfasts and evening socials are a great touch, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed but top-notch. It’s rare to find a place that combines this level of consistency, comfort, and service. After three years of staying here regularly, I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the area. The Staybridge Colonie team sets the standard for hospitality — they make every visit feel like coming home.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a great value it is. Definitely a great set up for the business traveler. Can't think of a thing.
