- Cheryl (7/5): - The staff are awesome! Very friendly and accommodating! They went over and above for me! I felt very safe even though some of the nights I was the only one in rooms. Security guards were available and on site overnight. Driving up to the accommodation had me worried. It is very unwelcoming and run down on the outside! Going into the reception alleviated my concerns. There was a caterpillar outbreak of some sort. Not specific to this hotel. Staff worked diligently to keep the area clear but it wasn't easy.

- Katrina (6/5): Nice place, awesome staff, just in a bit of a run down area. - The staff were awesome and the pool was lovely. The room was very clean (other than the bad smell in the mornings). The property itself is lovely, however it’s located in an area that is quite run down and it has derelict properties around it. There is also a sewer issue which resulted in an awful smell in my bathroom each morning.

Seulement des rideaux aux fenêtres (impossible de dormir après le lever du soleil). Les chambres sont à rafraichir. L'environnement autour de l'hôtel est très pauvre et sale.

The mosquitoes woke us during the night - came in through the gap in the door and windows. ‘Sealed’ the door and windows with towels plus cold aircon fixed the issue.

- Wanying (8/5): It was a good value stay for the sake of the dolphin tour! - Family run, small beachfront resort, where the dolphin tour can pick up directly. There are convenience stores a short but dark walk out. Room was spacious! Near a big resort where you might be able to enjoy their breakfast or beachfront massage if you want something more upscale. The property is a bit old but functional. Breakfast was a bit sad as they ran out of mi goreng.

- Lisa (7/5): Good for short stay - The villa was really cute and quiet. The beds were not the best but comfortable enough for the few nights we stayed. We were the only guests for two nights and we noticed many of the other rooms appeared new and renovated, but we were booked in an older villa. We wondered why they would not put us in a better room, to avoid the negative comments. The shower was a let down for us unfortunately, definately needs an upgrade and the menu was extremely basic. We had breakfast included but upon ordering, there was some items not available eg bacon. Kind of a big deal when I'm GF, so I had the choice of eggs or eggs. Their juices are not cold, so that was unpleasant. Dinner was the same with items unavailable.

They recommended an excellent tour guide who was extremely kind and gave us a private tour at a great price. We would definitely return. - Abhay (10/5): Clean, cosy waterfront location. - Waterfront location, clean and well-equipped rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and tasty food. In previous reviews, some people have said that the food is a little on the pricey side. I disagree. The staff only use quality cuts, give decent size portions and so of course one has to pay a little extra. They have a wide variety of local and western food and I happily ate there every day. The chicken noodle soup was delicious as were the beef guiness stew and chocolate lava cake. Decent WiFi too. There’s not many places nowadays that you can lie in your hotel by the ocean and hear the waves lapping in. It was bliss. They have various places around the hotel to lounge too. You can see the sunset in the sea and watch the day dawn from the rear Mountain View. Beautiful colours All good.

- Mateo (6/5): Price out of line with offering - The center area with the pool is pleasant to look out to. The hotel is isolated and therefore quiet and peaceful. The view out over the ocean is calming. Nothing is quantifiably bad here. Waayyy too much money for what you get. Breakfast provided is very minimal. The facilities are fine but you can get the same or better for half the price closer to Lovina. There is no beach at the property and even less so now that they are building a wave-break system. We walked the ocean edge to Lovina Beach and the walk is sometimes treacherous and takes a good 45 minutes.

- Maria (9/5): Superb - The hotel is very nice with big and comfortable family rooms. It is right at the beach with perfect sea to swim. There are a few lower cost local eateries around at the beach and a supermarket in front of the hotel. If you are looking to do a dolphin tour, make sure you research more responsible tour providers than the ones the hotel and other places around offer. Most boats do not respect any animal protection measures and charge at the dolphins. We were happy with Edi and his team.

- Hendrik (8/5): Nice location, friendly staff and clean - The room was beautiful, a nice size and comfortable The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole place was clean and well looked after. The pool was nice. The shower pressure is very weak. The included breakfast is very basic but the other options that you have to pay for are good. The staff smoke at the tables in the restaurant area all day long, making it uncomfortable for people who dont smoke. Eating areas should be smoke free as smoking is a huge health risk. Or at least there should be an area for non smokers. Staff spray the bedding with some kind of perfumed air freshener that is very pungent, it gave us a headache. So inside the room was this pungent smell and if you go outside you inhale a lot of smoke, so there was nowhere you could sit comfortably.

Only a minor thing: The curtains were white and didn’t cover the windows so the room was a bit bright to sleep in. But otherwise, everything was great!

Its lovely to be so close to the ocean , enjoy the sunset or sunrise . We accidentally booked the family room , which was wonderfully spacious but way to big for just the 2 of us . The staff are so wonderful and really look after you . The upstairs rooms look great with both Ocean view and views to the rice paddies behind . I would love to come back and stay again! Unfortunately the beach in front gets a lot of plastic that washes down in the rain from the hills and whilst it’s raked up , it’s not removed. This plastic problem is in many places in Bali
- Kristi (9/5): best budget stay in all Lovina - Can't ask for more - perfect beachfront location hedged in by rice fields in the back. They did a great job on remodeling the whole property during Covid (I visited the restaurant & pool a few times prior). Always great food (all homemade - even the nuggets & fries). Wifi was strong enough to handle a Zoom call, which is rare for this area. Love the sliding doors / full windows overlooking the pool area, though it did mean the room was a big light at night. White curtains on the windows are a perfect match for the theme/decor but do mean it stays bright in the room at night - not a problem though, just wear an eyemask!

It is build like an atrium - nice restaurant at the seaside. terrace above the restaurant - a great place to relax! The rooms are new renovated, very nice fresh atmosphere. Bed was marvelous. Wi-Fi worked everywhere very good. Housekeeping very good. No insects in bath or room. Pool is very well maintained. I had breakfast and dinner at Villa Agung. It tasted delicious! fruits in the morning were the best I’ve had in Bali. Sandy, the owner, was very helpful to me. I really loved my stay there! I am very grateful to all the staff and Sandy!

Our stay was laid back and chilled which was exactly what our family needed. All staff members were lovely, the restaurant served delicious food, and the area was quiet. Perfect! - Emilie (8/5): Very good - we liked the cleanness, the room, the place in general and the breakfast the kitchen of the restaurant closed at 7pm. we had to find a driver who drove us to a restaurant nearby … 150k super expensive but we had no choice if we wanted to get diner.
- Gabby (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay here! Staff were all friendly, the property is really nice and right on the beach. We had booked a dolphin tour and the boat was able to pick us up from the hotel beach. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable.
- Sven (9/5): Superb - Large room, calm place, very friendly staff, great restaurant with an exceptional view over the sea, very good breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade breakfast and jam. Unlike stated in booking.com, there wasn't a water dispenser - there were two small plastic bottles in my room on arrival. For this one point less. The breakfast was enough but for a very hungry person a bit poor.

- Silke (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in Lovina! - Nice room, great pool, lovely beach in front of it. Very quiet, a bit off the busy main road. Attentive and proactive staff, made some great suggestions and organized excursions and transport. Breakfast was very nice as well, and can be enjoyed every morning while overlooking the sea. Nothing. Everything was perfect!

- Lorna (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at villa agung was by far the more pleasant experience I have had on the island of Bali. It exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The staff were amazing and wanted to help in any way they could. We booked an extra night as we enjoyed it so much. To add to this, we barely left the accommodation as it was so peaceful for breakfast, lunch and dinner not to mention the food was great. The accommodation overlooks the beach and is perfect for sunrise and sunset while you relax and eat or have a drink. The dolphin trip was sorted for us through the accommodation and was completely stress free for us. The owner sorted us a car for the day to visit some waterfalls close by which were amazing. I couldn’t recommend this place enough it was exactly what I needed
