Guest Reviews
- Olesia (10/5): - Everything looks like authentic Wild West experience. Now super clean and nothing modern, but hey, you are on Wild West , so if you want to experience its fully, just book that hotel . The horse back rides were a pleasant surprise. My entire family enjoyed it. And the live music at the saloon was also great. We just fell in love with that place The shower floor was a bit dirty, so I would not recommend going in it barefoot
- Nathan (10/5): -
- Chrystal (10/5): -
- Kolby (10/5): A very relaxing get away - The location It was perfect
- David (8/5): Great for atmosphere. The setting allows you to meet other families from around the country. - The old west facades of each room were fantastic. Road to get to the property was a little rough, but not a deal breaker.
- DICK (10/5): - Loved the room and overall atmosphere! The staff was incredibly friendly and the saloon was the perfect touch. The road in is a typical southern arizona dirt road and though it was short it was rough. Bright side was we got a massage of sorts driving down it.
- WILLIAM (10/5): - we were rained out of horse back riding beautiful place
- Angela (10/5): - Duplicate. I booked 2 rooms
- Angela (10/5): Need a reset ? This is it - It was the perfect setting to hold a small wedding at the arch by the barn . Absolutely breathtaking. Every time I turned around I saw friends and family taking pictures .which tells me they loved it too! Breakfast was good. Just the right amount to fill belly. The kids kept occupied. Bride and Groom took the 2 older boys for their first horse back riding and they just absolutely loved it . They are hooked ! My son grew up with horses and his new Bride was a wrangler at White Stallion some years back . Their hearts rejoiced to hear these kids wanna come back and said their ride was AWESOME! We have stayed her several times. Never to this extent . My husband I got married here standing right out side our room with about 8 people . What an experience this was to have my youngest son to perform the ceremony for his big brother and his bride . I think we’ve started a legacy. We alway say we go to the Ranch to relax and reset . Our grown kids have figured this out as well and maybe they will pass it on to their kids. The staff took great care of us . Michelle helped make this day as smooth as possible ! Thank you so much! I don’t think there isn’t anything to not like
- James (10/5): We enjoyed it a lot - It was good There was bees around the pool
- Isabelle-Marie (10/5): Fantastisch!
- Richard (9/5): Would stay again and very much enjoyed the ranch style esthetic. - We loved the decor, quietness, great for pictures, breakfast was great and even better was the service given during breakfast. Access to the pool table, the scenery and was a great replica of the movie, "Tombstone." The only inconvenience found during our stay was that there was no microwave in our room or in the lobby.
- Valerie (10/5): - Very friendly staff they make you feel like your at home, there’s a lot to do there would recommend my family and friends to stay there..
- MARICA (10/5): Magnifico - E’ stato come proiettarsi nel passato!
Location superlativa, staff professionale ed accogliente.
- Cheryl (10/5): - This is awesome ranch, best time ever. We will be going back in a few months. If u don’t want to get dirty you r not doing the ranch right
- Tammy (10/5): -
- Sherri (10/5): - This was such a fun place to stay. If you like the old west, this is the place for you. You'll enjoy horseback riding in the morning and drinking and dancing in the saloon at night. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity for a great vacation!
- Anna (10/5): -
- Roy (10/5): Fantastic - History. Lighting by the parking lot steps nonexistent. At night potential tripping/fall hazard.
- sara (10/5): - This place is a must. Relaxing and quiet
- Peter (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): All the way from South Africa - We only spent one night.. and what a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed our meals... gave us that old-time ranch feeling. Loved the pink lemonade 😉 We enjoyed the entertainment on Tuesday night. Thank you for making it such a memorable experience for my family. If ever we visit the USA... this truly would be top of the list.
- Jessica (10/5): - We will definitely be back such friendly staff and great breakfast and dinner
- Carlos (10/5): - I’m definitely coming back for more days. Booked as a last minute thing for one night and then saw all there is to do. This place is awesome if you like/love rustic/western ranching style living
- Kristy (8/5): Very good - The fact that there were two separate power outages totally approximately 6 hours of now A/C in 103 degree weather really sucked.
- Adam (10/5): - Property was AMAZING. Staff was excellent. Best experience in town.
- Finlay (10/5): Well worth a visit if your in the area - Location - very well executed Nothing
- Erinn (10/5): - This place was SO FUN and our family loved our stay here!! I wish we had planned to stay another day or two so we could get to do all the activities!
- Caroline (10/5): Holiday of a lifetime - Everything! From start to finish, it was amazing. The staff....especially Cliff, Kyler and David made our stay so memorable ❤️. Nothing
- Andrea (10/5): 5 STAR STAFF & FACILITIES - Outstanding A trip of a lifetime. Amazing memories to last a lifetime ✨️ Nothing. Could not fault a thing
- Julie (10/5): Good breakfast, skip the dinner - This was our second time staying at the Monument Ranch, The staff is pleasant and welcoming. You feel like you are in another time and place, and yet only a short drive from our home in Tucson. The hot tub under the stars was a perfect way to end the day. If your package has the option for breakfast, you should include it. However, we added on the three-course dinner, which was mediocre at best. The entree choices were chicken breast or salmon. Both were under seasoned and over-cooked. We are looking forward to staying at the ranch again.
- Sally (3/5): Remote desert location was great; wish we could’ve avoid cigarette smoke - Staff were friendly and responsive. Location is remote so you can see the stars at night well. The rooms are non smoking, but the other patrons who smoke do so right outside of their rooms, so if you are sitting outside or open your windows you have to experience their smoke. The food served at dinner was awful.
- Paula (10/5): The time we spent at this ranch was so fun, relaxing, and pleasant. This is definitely a go to retreat, especially if yo - We wanted the old West historic experience of Tombstone, and all of our expectations were exceeded. The property was very clean, everybody was very friendly, and the activities were so fun. The horseback riding was bar none the Best we have ever experienced.
- Michael (10/5): - This was such a great place to stay and experience for our visit to Tombstone. Make sure you stay here and enjoy some Cowboy coffee by the fire, play Faro, and go Horseback riding. Thanks for an amazing stay Monument Ranch staff!!!!!
- William (10/5): Western Surprise - Fantastic place!
- Pepi (4/5): Disappointing - We booked 2 rooms for 2 days plus horseback riding etc. The beds are so uncomfortable and pillows are the cheapest pillows you can buy. Both my husband and I and our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter did not sleep well. The rooms need revamping for sure and the shower grout and the large window needs a real good cleaning - the grout has turned black in some places. The coffee in the room is not hot so maybe those kettles need replacing. It's too bad as we like this place but definitely will find a new place. Staff is awesome.though and the people at the bar are outstanding especially the gentleman with long grey hair - he is a historian for sure. Great talking with him. The food is fine as well. Rooms definitely need help. The outside patio is a disaster cushions are ripped etc. It wouldn't cost all that much to overhaul the rooms and patio
- Lorrie (10/5): - Our stay was a lot of fun and we look forward to coming back!!
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Azelia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melody (10/5): - Lots of fun, but to far away from town. Excellent accommodations, very comfortably. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was nothing special and way to expensive for what you got
- Vanskyhock (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (9/5): Outstanding place to enjoy the Old West environment. - The decorum was fantastic. It looked like the main street of an Old West town. The room was outstanding and the beds were very comfortable. The "saloon" was inviting and the staff was really friendly. I would definitely recommend staying there for anyone traveling to the Tombstone area. I was on my motorcycle so the 2-mile ride down a dirt road was not the most inviting. From speaking with the bartender, the road had been recently graded so it was in good condition. However, there were some large rocks on the road so I had to take great care traveling into and out of the Ranch.
- Darrel (10/5): We were completely happy - Very good breakfast
- Avila (10/5): Exceptional -
- barbara (10/5): - We had a great stay , so many options to ride horses even private lessons for only $20 we rode horse everywhere .great breakfast great rooms close to Toumbstone. Authentic old west feel . Great prices ! Great wranglers and staff . Wonderful property .the ranch is payed out like an old western town . Would recommend and definitely going back !
- Griffin (8/5): I love this place it's a great place to get away and relax - The breakfast is delicious. Location is great staff is friendly had lots of fun Probably some newer towels and the bedding slips off at night
- Eddie (7/5): Good stay. - Very good, and the staff worked very efficiently. The road to reach the ranch.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hortencia (10/5): - Loved it all, next time staying longer!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Tombstone Monument Ranch - Great get away. Very good entertainment.
- Connie (10/5): - It’s 2 miles out of town on a bumpy dirt road but once you get here, it’s great! We love the themed rooms and atmosphere. It’s gorgeous and peaceful.
- Barbara (9/5): Looking forward to a return stay to try activies at this dude ranch. - Quiet, friendly staff, lots of activities, nice view Larger solar lights to parking lot, coffee was never hot. A microwave in dining area would be nice. More deep dusting in the rooms.
- Ramzy (10/5): will be back at some point was a great experience - great nothing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Can’t wait to return. - Amazing experience. Especially enjoyed coffee by the fire in the morning. Wish we had more time to take advantage of all the activities such as horseback riding.
- Shane (10/5): - It was a good experience. I will be back.
- Michael (10/5): Monument Guest Ranch - I liked the concept of putting the rooms behind period storefronts, but some of the buildings are losing boards and falling apart in back.
- TIM (10/5): - This is a must stay if visiting Tombstone or Bisbee. Totally old west feel. The buildings, the grounds, the people, old west. Super cool place!
- Springerley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really cool western town vibe
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful and fun. - The staff was really nice and helpful . It was great seeing all the horses and just being able to walk the grounds. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed everything.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the little old time feel and building set up. Staff was wonderful. Thursday night entertainment was exceptional.
- Leone (10/5): We will come back. It was a great place to stay, I loved the hot coffee they served. - Everything was great
- Kayla (10/5): Great vacation experience - Loved the fact you could do package deals that included all meals and any and all amenities. The staff were great overall glad we had such a great time. Already recommend to my boyfriends parents and they already booked a room. We will definitely be going again hopefully longer stay so we could experience all activities.
- Constance (8/5): Everyone was so nice, and a perfect western experience. - The breakfast covered all the basics and them some. I'm just not a big breakfast eater.
The trail ride was fun. The horses are sweet and well cared for.
The entertainment was great.
- Dayro (10/5): - Overall was an excellent experience, specially the horse riding. Acess at night is a little complicated due the unpaved acess road.
- Naushad (10/5): - Typical Western atmosphere I felt like I was back in 1850. Lots of horses. Staff was friendly - Breakfast was good. Music in the bar at night was good. Cozy atmosphere in the bar in the evening with fireplace and singer.
improvement - internet connection could be better. TV reception could be better.
- Dave (10/5): It is a fun and unique place to stay. - I just stayed one night and didn’t use the “ranch services” so I didn’t like the additional fee for that.
- Jeff (10/5): - This is a western front cowboy town. Fun to look at and walk around. Dusty. Lots of horses and mule deer. Had a free breakfast that was a little cold. Great place for kids.
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional - The relaxing atmosphere and the animals Liked everything
- Jerry E (10/5): - Love the horses and bar
- Dana (9/5): Great old west experience - Chuck wagon was a fun experience would be nice if it was daily. No complaints.
- Joe (10/5): - The staff was great, Cliff the bartender was awesome. Love the whole vibe.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stelios (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (6/5): - It was a great stay as staff is friendly. Breakfast was amazing!
The concept of the Hotel is very unique, nevertheless facilities in general look old and without maintainance.
Despite you are supposed to be in an old town, that doesnt mean it has to be a neglected place.
As said, we had a good time, we only stayed one night but if we would have stayed longer, it would feel like too much as place its really not taken care of.
- JOLLEEN (10/5): - Really great ranch experience! Only stayed one night, but enjoyed the ambience, the entertainment and the staff!!
Only negative comment would be only one bar of soap for vanity and shower. Plus pillows too soft.
- Brian (10/5): - Amazing old town stay…feeling of being in the old west. Always someone telling stories by campfire coffee in the morning or playing cards at night. Great stay, helpful staff. Highly recommended for that unique stay in and around tombstone.
- Beth (10/5): - Quiet and peaceful, unique old west atmosphere.
- Alexandra (10/5): - It was the most fun staying at this property. It felt like we were in a western movie with all the cute details. Staff was great, bartender was awesome and their margaritas were savagely good and dangerous. Not any margaritas, these were on tap! What in the Rice Krispies is this?!
Love it!
- Frank (10/5): - Western themed dude ranch. My wife loved the horses.
- Dale (10/5): - It is very unique and fun. Like living in an old western town.
- Jennifer (8/5): Amazing place to stay - This place was amazing as to the the things they offer, the atmosphere location and the decor. Love the theme building and ranch part of it. The room size is awesome and I love the walk in shower. Breakfast was nice, staff friendly and kind. The mattress needs to be replaced has body divots so if you move to the middle of the mattress it felt like a spring or something was poking you very uncomfortable. They Should maybe hang bug zappers next to the room if you open the door something follows you in. Not the hotel's fault just a suggestion left with tons of bug bites. And guest parking was too far if you needed something at night out of the vehicle no lights and a ways away. Would stay again and would recommend just thinking needs a few improvements.
- Ankita (10/5): Awesome! - Location was secluded and you had to follow a dirt road but once you arrived it was amazing! Good and staff were awesome. Clean rooms. We did not use the services but they offered horse back riding , archery etc. we could have easily spent one more day there.
- Joe (10/5): A great stay great staff and location - The area felt like the west live it
- Moshe (10/5): - I was looking for a place to stop and break our journey back home from LA, because I knew my kiddos couldn't do the whole trip at once from celebrating my son's 5th birthday.. this is a couple steps above a hotel! when I saw this listed in my search, and it wasn't priced way out of a hotel league (budget concerns with young kids), I looked at the listing: Amazing. When I got there... even more impressed! Great scenery around, cowboy coffee (& hot chocolate for my kiddos) with Arizona Bill in the morning next to the horses getting ready for a ride that day; the breakfast was impeccable - filled out the card for what I wanted, made fresh and brought to the table. You stay in what looks like an old town (jail, newspaper, saloon.. we got one of the bordello rooms). What a great place to stop at, and it definitely made me want to have it as the destination next time!!
- Julie (10/5): I truly enjoyed and stepping outside to see the Milky Way was stunning. - Loved the live music!!
- Lisa (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The ranch was so different, like living in an old western town. The themed rooms were cool. Learning how to play the farro card game was fun as was morning cowboy coffee with Arizona Bill. Breakfast was nice and the location of the ranch was beautiful! The water pressure in the shower was very low.
- Tim (8/5): I wish we had a little more time to do some of the other things your facility offered - The room and the old rustic atmosphere and the breakfast was the best , which happened to be the 1st stay on our 3week vacation, of all the places we stayed. The Last place we stayed in Yuma,AZ no less, was a very close second The road to your place, which was very rough. If we had a 4 wheel drive truck would have been a little better, but a good grading that road needs which unfortunately is a costly venture
- Sean (10/5): - I enjoyed the atmosphere and the horseriding 🐎
- Kelley (10/5): Old West Town - Such a fun little atmosphere! Will definitely stay here again!
- Gail (8/5): - Great experience! Staff was wonderful! Rooms could do with some paint touch-ups, etc. Beds not the best.
- Kevin (10/5): Ranch Life - Just a friendly atmosphere and amazing views outside of town.
- Chris (10/5): Great southwestern experience - Very quiet and secluded. Staff was amazingly nice. The road to get there needs some serious work.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Home away from home - This hotel makes you feel like you've stepped back into time. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is great and if you add in the dinners you will not be disappointed. This is our 2nd time here and the family always loves the laid back feel.
- Dorothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carla (10/5): Great ranch experience in the Arizona desert - What a pleasant desert surprise. It far exceeded our expectations and the experience of the ranch was amazing.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (9/5): My family had a great time and will be back - Fun unique location with good live entertainment and family values Information about activities changes based on who you talked to
