Guest Reviews
- August (8/5): I'd stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Good desk and chair; good lighting in room, for working at desk, for reading in bed, and in general. Comfortable bed: firm mattress, pillows neither too fat and solid nor too thin and skimpy. No problems with noise. No major problems. Shower head needed some attention; I told the clerk about it upon checking out, and she said they'd deal with it.
- Venture28587639865 (10/5): Nebraska District Optimist Conference - Great!! Everything went smoothly!
- scottjJ7499TC (10/5): Best place to stay - I have stayed here several times. The rooms are always clean. The staff is fantastic. Jolynn is an amazing person. I highly recommend.
- 882conniee (8/5): Nice Inn - Convenient location. Employees are pleasant and accommodating. Nice lobby, good breakfast and coffee. Pleasant decorations for the holidays. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, nice sized.
- E1683VGmonikaw (10/5): Super Clean - Highly impressed with cleanliness of the entire hotel, but especially the room. Spotless. Wonderfully kept. Friendly. Highly recommended
- stevehP33JV (10/5): Big surprise - Making the reservation, checking in and out was all very easy. The rooms and accommodations were above expectations for the size of town. Would definitely stay again.
- L4428RDrickk (8/5): Great Visit - Great visit to The Cobblestone again for us. Very clean and the team is very obliging of any needs we had. We will be back next year
- Raymond (10/5): - I was able to actually check in about a half hour early. Than you for allowing me to do that!
- August (10/5): I'd stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Lots of horizontal space: desktop, etc. Good lighting throughout room: for working at desk, for reading in bed, and in general. Temperature control worked well. No problems with noise: some people in the parking lot right outside my window were having a spirited discussion, with much use of a verb beginning with F, but I could barely hear it at all inside my room. Comfortable bed, pillows neither too solid nor too scanty. No complaints.
- August (10/5): I'll stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Lots of desk space; plenty of electrical outlets. Good lighting throughout room: for working at desk, for reading in bed, and in general. Temperature control worked well. No problems with noise, either from nearby roads or from within the motel. Comfortable bed: mattress sufficiently firm, pillows sufficiently flexible. No complaints.
- jeffwWestDesMoines (10/5): Extremely Impressed with this Hotel and the local management and people who work there. - Hotel is very well managed, rooms very clean and the front desk staff is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. AND my stay was over Labor Day and during one of the busiest weekends of the year in Schuyler and they still managed to make fresh cookies every day with all they had going on! Impressive and I always will come back to stay.
- Peinado (10/5): -
- August (8/5): I'd stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Good lighting throughout room: at desk, for reading in bed, and in general. No problems with noise. Comfortable bed. Hot water arrives promptly at shower; good flow from shower head. Sink drain not working: remained closed, despite pushing and pulling the stem. I told the desk clerk about this, so hopefully it'll be fixed.
- Dulce Maria Quezada (10/5): - We had an issue with our room door not latching due to the humidity but the hotel manager was able to fix it.
- Linz4huskers (10/5): Clean and Comfy Rooms with Friendly Staff - Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast in the morning! Thank you for an affordable and comfortable stay.
- Dale (4/5): disappointed - Not impressed.
Amy promised adjoining rooms. Didn't happen. Pillows were huge and uncomfortable.
Went down at 8 am Sunday for breakfast. Not a drop of coffee, nor hot food, and staff acted like they never had a crowd before. Appeared that they hadn't even started making more coffee until the 3 large pots were all empty.
- Jason (4/5): Meh - Location was good and bed was comfortable. Door to room did not latch or lock. We were offered a different room and same issue. The problem was never resolved for the duration of our visit. Then the hotel manager claimed we didn’t report the issue and blew us off…not very professional.
- Jeanine (10/5): - We really enjoyed everything. It was very clean and the room was spacious. The hospitality was very good. The food looked and was fresh. Good place to stay. They told us if you booked through us instead of hotels.com, we would of saved $40. DO NOT GO THROUGH HOTELS.COM!! Thank you for letting us know that Cobblestone!
- Sightseer64764146240 (10/5): Good sleep - Quiet, comfortable room. It was very clean and even dinner was provided. I told my sister about the place and she said they would look for a Cobblestone inn the next time they travel. I don't mind giving a very good review to the Cobblestone Inn that I stayed at, but I don't like be told to make my review longer.
- stmt2025 (8/5): Good / Decent / Pricey - Place was reasonably clean and I got a good hot shower and night's sleep. I felt a room rate of $130 before tax was steep for this place though. For the quality of the hotel, I think $80 to $95 would have been a much fairer rate. Good location for traveling through East Central Nebraska.
- Terry (7/5): Good - all 3 bottles in bathroom were empty. Conditioner, body wash, and shampoo
- jaideni2025 (10/5): One of the best!! - Our stay was one of the best! The place was clean and very inviting. The front desk associate was welcoming and friendly. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend the Cobblestone in Schuyler to anyone needing a place to stay!!
- Teresa (10/5): - Comfortable beds, normal size room. Everything was fine.
- irisrose (6/5): Always stay when in town - Always a nice stay at this Cobblestone. Clean, for the most part. Seems to be a go to spot for local construction crews to stay so sometimes that makes the place seem more like a short term apartment complex. The cooking smells coming from a room(s) was a little off putting. Very strong in the hallway. The room was clean but is looking a little worn. Just from staying a previous time months before, it was noticeable in the room I was in. I don't want to dog on the construction workers, but that would be my guess. Construction workers are always there when I stay and I'm not sure they are so careful or care how they behave in the room. The staff is awesome! I always love chatting with them and they are so accommodating and friendly.
- Bentrim (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bev (5/5): Was fine. May try the other hotel in the area - Property was fine. We didn’t get bed made and room cleaned everyday.
- ANN (6/5): - It’s ok….
- sharon (8/5): Average stay - For what it is—-it’s over priced but it is the only hotel in and near Schuyler Nebraska. It’s an average hotel without a pool.
- Berns (9/5): A nice place to stay. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. All questions were answered in a friendly matter.. Very clean rooms. I have to use a walker so can't climb stairs to the 2nd floor so the staff gave my husband and me a room on the main floor. This was certainly appreciated. We stayed in room 111. Our bed was king sized. However the mattress was uncomfortable as there was a huge lump in the middle. You could tell each side was laid upon which caused the lump in the middle of the mattress.
- 96carrip (8/5): Good hotel - The hotel is nice for being in a small town. There was no hand soap by the sink and the dispensers in the shower were empty of body wash and shampoo. The bed was comfy and everything worked as it should. Very nice staff! Hot breakfast was available as well as cereal, coffee, etc.
- Bruce (10/5): - .
- Heather (5/5): Passable -
- Passport23210824604 (10/5): Definitely will stay again! Great hotel! - From a superior clean to a welcoming and accommodating staff this hotel left a lasting impression upon me. The pillows were soft and fluffy. The bed was super comfy. Their water was softened amazingly. Which is huge in these small towns with hard water. Excellent overall experience!
- sharon (10/5): Nice hotel - It’s a nice hotel in the area.
- deving466 (10/5): Review for cobble stone - Pillows are not the best but the managers are excellent best people I’ve ever had at a hotel super nice. The assistant manager Amy especially she has exceeded her duties in making sure I’m comfortable and have everything I need in my room each week I’m out there for work and I couldn’t ask for more
- wheatczech (8/5): Poor value, but great sleep. - We loved the beds and slept well. We had five rooms in our group and we were all happy with our stay. Price was high for Schuyler.
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- 255tonyah (10/5): Home away from home - So clean! Great service great breakfast! Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in too! We checked in late but got smiling helpful staff right away. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Slept so good we didn’t even miss home. Will stay again.
- clifforda706 (10/5): The best - I'm a truck driver who got stranded and stayed at cobblestone. Even though I was far from home I felt like I never even left. The hospitality and care given by the staff was above reproach and by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I would vacation to Schuyler just to stay at this facility again.
Thank you staff for a more than pleasant stay. Take and may god bless u all
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Camper63186242313 (8/5): Overall good - the breakfast area just needs more attention. - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet except for the heater.
The fruit for breakfast was not fresh. The bananas were almost black and by the 2nd morning were black and the oranges didn't look much better.
- P2149QCteresaa (10/5): Great stay in shuyler. - The Staff was very pleasant. The pretty entry way was a heads t surprise. Our room Was a very nice room.
We attended a banquet held by Nebraska Pinto Horse assoc in the meeting room and it also was a clean , nice room as well.
- 659leannk (10/5): An abundance of care and help. - Our room was spotless. Thank you to the female employee who noticed we were in town for a fireman's funeral. Even though she hadn't been in town long she gave me her condolences. Thank you to another employee who supplied towels to clean up a spilled drink in our truck. Rest assured e will be back. Kudos to you all !
- Chuck and LeAnn (10/5): - very close to road we were traveling- easy access
It was very clean and quiet
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional - We appreciated the food served at night, and also how well prepared the food was in general.
In particular, the staff were all very friendly and very helpful to us. It would be nice if you had an electric vehicle charger
- 882conniee (8/5): Nice place - Staff is friendly and accommodating. Clean room. Nice breakfast, good coffee. Comfortable bed and pillows. Could use some new towels and shower mats. But over all was a nice place to stay. We have stayed there several times.
- Bob123482 (10/5): great place to stay - Easy to access off of the hiway, front staff was extremely friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here again if passing through. Has a decent selection for their complementary breakfast. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable
- Zaly (10/5): Exceptional -
- pattyh357 (8/5): NOT 5 star - Was happy with almost everything! The room was ready when we arrived! The only problem was they did not clean during our day stay! At check-in, they talked more to each other and not so much to us!! Its close to my son so we will stay again!
- Heidi (10/5): - Great stay, just needed a few minor repairs in our room.
- Sweet4079 (10/5): Exceptional - Everything NA
- B5996KVvickip (10/5): Great space and great staff to work with. - Nice hotel and clean room. Great staff to work with and very accomodating and answered all my questions. Worked well for our class reunion. Would definitely stay again would recommend their meeting room events.
- pascof194 (8/5): Needs repair - The ceiling in room is in need of repair. They have tape on the ceiling covering up an area that looks like my have had some water damage. The pillows provide no support for side or back sleeper. Would have like to see daily housekeeping in the room without having to ask for it. The lady who worked the breakfast on Monday morning was super nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful! Everyone very nice!!
- Shandrika (5/5): Passable -
- Shandrika (5/5): Passable -
- Rob (10/5): - Good people
- Alyonna (4/5): - I don’t think the room was cleaned. We didn’t check in until 1030 and were tired. The room seemed great if it was fully cleaned. There was trash in the trash can, soap was used and sitting on the sink, bed wasn’t fully made. We truly did not notice it until we changed and we’re ready to sleep. The bed was comfortable. Wish they had a better selection of tv channels.
- Leo-cu-pr (10/5): Exceptional -
- karinahF8880LP (10/5): Very nice, clean rooms - Bed was very comfy. Jacuzzi was very nice. Was greeted in a friendly manner. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. Liked that had warm breakfast available. Over all very nice hotel. Thank you
- bethanybW3347YC (10/5): Will stop again! - The front desk gave me excellent service, even gave me an awesome referral to a great restaurant for dinner.
The breakfast and coffee were great!
The weather was calling for possible large hail, so the staff let me park my motorcycle up under the front awning.
- Ermelinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonette (10/5): Excellent. Would stay again if in the area. - The room was very clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent as far as breakfasts in a motel. They had scrambled eggs as well as potatoes with onions, peppers and sausage. Also had waffles, cereal, yogurt and the usual breads. Plenty of lighted parking. Staff helpful. Everything was good. Don't have any complaints.
- Margaret (10/5): - Enjoyed staying at Cobblestone Inn in Schuyler. Shout out to Amy for being very helpful as we were new to the area and explaining the services the hotel offered. We were there for the Kenastons Country Music Festival.
- Josh (7/5): Good -
- Ace (10/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful.
- David (6/5): TP Issue - Property had no toilet paper to provide.
- Janna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice staff
- Tressa (10/5): - Clean room and comfortable bed. The three staff members I met were all friendly and welcoming!
- Audry (7/5): Good -
- Anders (9/5): Superb - Run out of breakfust
- Örn (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (2/5): No Place Like Home - Overcharged. $170 when charge should have been $107. That's a lot of tax!!
Toilet plugged couldn't get front desk to answer phone for plunger so I went down to front desk. No one there. Finally borrowed a plunger and unplugged toilet
No elevator and bad hip, room on 2nd floor so that was not convenient.
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bj (8/5): Very good - clean and comfortable. a little out of our way, but had stayed there once before and liked it, so worth driving a little out of our way.
- Brian (9/5): great place to say - clean
- Brendar (10/5): very comfortable and relaxing . just what we needed. - great everything
- Verified traveler (4/5): Skip the yuck - I booked a double room and when I arrived I was told there was only a king left. Luckily I was traveling with my kids and it was 1AM so I didn’t have time to argue. The room obviously was being used and not cleaned before we entered. Alcohol bottles, trash, scattered outside. Smells like cigarette smoke when you enter from the back entrance. Dining area was dirty.
- Jody (8/5): - Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was friendly. It suited our needs just fine. We needed a clean, quiet place to sleep for a night and it delivered.
- Janet (8/5): - Easy, friendly staff check-in. I liked I could enter the stairwell area to the room w/o having to go into the lobby. Lots of parking. Across the street from a brand new DQ. :)
- Robert (6/5): It was ok - I have stayed at other cobblestones that a more of a wow factor also something but me not sure what it was
- Jay T (10/5): - It's a great option for that location.
- Janet (10/5): - Very nice!
- Verified traveler (8/5): 4 out of 5 - The room was clean but there was a stain on one of the comforters. We notified housekeeping and they changed it immediately. There was a smell of cigarette smoke eventhough it was a non-smoking room. Breakfast was decent but not as good as Hilton properties, which we usually stay in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - ----o------
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel room was not cleaned when we checked in. Opened beer bottle was left on the table and almost empty water bottle was by the tv. The bed was not made and sheets are used. The bathroom was also not cleaned with towels all over the floor. It was unbelievable that the hotel would assign us to that room under that kind of condition.
Breakfast does not look freshly prepared. Eggs and sausages are in styrofoam container which is impossible to be microwaved safely. Bagels were in plastic bags for some reason as if it was stored longer than days. There was also no elevator so if you have lots of luggage, you would have to drag them up the stairs.
This was the first and also the last time we were staying at this hotel. It was absolutely disappointing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice property for a small town
- Ross (8/5): Great Stay! - will definitely stay again on our next visit to see friends.
- Nicolas (10/5): Helpful - Łoved the place. We will stay here again when we go back. Very friendly service and very helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): passing through - The hotel was clean and fresh. At check in no one was there for a bit, but many staff members perform multiple duties so that is a moot point. I would have preferred in lieu of only 8oz. plastic bottles of water, a pitcher of fresh water to refill as that is a more sustainable option. The breakfast area had many selections aside from fresh fruit or vegan/vegetarian options which would make it more diverse. The area is very quiet as it is somewhat remote.
- Joseph (8/5): on vacation - The place was nice we had a spa tub but it was really short I'm 5' 2" in height and I could not stretch out my legs otherwise it was pretty nice and I did still enjoy the tub.
- Jesus (6/5): aweful - Terrible customer service
No clean sheets when we arrived barely checked in with us
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is not very well marked
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The gym isn’t a gym so listing that as an amenity is a bit deceiving.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We have stayed here many times on work trips and are always pleased. This trip our AC was not working up to par and it was not as comfortable as past visits. We will continue to stay here when we work in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was great for a one night stay. It was not a good area for fine dining or family dining.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms are nice and comfortable but staff needs to work on their customer service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfy beds and a lovely sitting area in the lobby. It’s like a cozy living room.
