• Jaime Bargenquast (6/5): - Great sized rooms. Had a great view, great facilities in the room. Aircon wasnt working in the rooms. Staff did attend quickly and fixed. Floors were very stained.

• Anna (3/5): Overpriced and average. - Location General maintenance needed, eg toilet seat not fixed to toilet, lights not working, a bit grotty. Both bathrooms smelt of old sewer. Someone smoked in the room at 130am, set of the fire alarm. Everyone out of rooms. They don’t call fire department to check, just sent us all back to rooms after about 30mins. Very poor.

• Christine (7/5): Was good and will comeback again, just hoping for 2 keys next time. - Bed was super comfy, room was spacious enough for 3 adults. We were only given 1 key for 3 adults, this meant that if my adult kids wanted to go out, I either had to get up and let them in after midnight or give them the key and hope I didn't need to leave the room. There was no one in the reception each time I went down to ask for a second key. Also, it was great to have Foxtel, but found there was a lot we could not watch. Front of cutlery draw came off in my hand. Latch to balcony door was busted (thoughts of people coming in the middle of the night) Some questionable stains on carpet in main bedroom.

The room felt safe and secure. Not many people around and very quiet. I had trouble finding the hotel as there are several in the area with similar names. Reception was frequently unmanned, but if you called a number someone would come and help. The carpet in my room was old and stained, but clean.

• Melissa (7/5): Great location - Great location and the staff were great. We didn’t realise there were smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms. Cleaners came the next day and helped with removing the smoke smell.

There is much better accommodation in the same price range close by. - The beds were very comfortable and the location is great - walking distance to all things in the CBD, Eastpoint and the marina. The apartment had all we needed from a self-catering perspective. The decor is very dated, with a cover over a very old worn sofa. The manager was very gruff, unsympathetic and inflexible about a non-refundable booking, where we paid over $766 for one night!
