Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): - Great staff
- Christopher (10/5): - Good
- yesenia (8/5): - This was an overall good stay. Only comments are most of the staff was not friendly at all and our room door was left open after housekeeping took out our trash.
- Oriana (6/5): - The
- Maureen (2/5): - Very unhappy the room looked ok till we went in bin hadn’t been emptied before we got there.
The water ….both taps and shower were hot and I mean scalding hot…..
It was after 5 so they didn’t have maintenance to help. We had to move to another room in my nightie ….
Breakfast was cold and not much to offer….no hot food at all. When I asked if they had any I was told no I mentioned you seem very quiet….response by staff member was that’s the way I like it!!! Would not return to this hotel.
- Jose (10/5): - Easy check in.
- Joseph (10/5): - Friendly staff, some trash in parking lot
- Antonio and Celeste (6/5): - Disappointed restaurant hours were open for only few hours, very few amenities to do. Was advertised horse race hours and was not stated only online. Not enough available agents at front desk to check in waited almost an hour to check in. Room was clean and felt safe. Breakfast was small was expecting free breakfast to include eggs and bacon and sausage at least for being a casino and continental breakfast. Not boiled eggs!!!!!!!
- Maria (8/5): - I didn’t like that the shampoo and conditioner bottle provided were empty. But other than that good.
- eubaldo (10/5): - Great
- Edgar (8/5): - Convenient
- Sayra (10/5): - Great
- Jason (4/5): - They shut the water off without warning. I’d like Expedia to get a refund from the property so I can get a refund from Expedia. A credit would suffice. Thank you.
- sharon (6/5): - The lighting was horrible in the room. It was very dim. The lighting in the bathroom was so dim I could not do my makeup properly. The light in the shower area did not come on at all. There was no ventilation in the bathroom so it fogged up badly when I took a hot shower. I tried to call the front desk but got no answer.
- Amy (8/5): - It was okay. Not fantastic, not bad. Middle of the road. It was clean and nice. But for a casino hotel, I was expecting a bit more. Breakfast is okay, nothing hot except for things to heat up in a toaster.
- Nadine (10/5): - .
- Tyran (6/5): - The room was clean and nice, the breakfast consisted of mainly carbohydrates and few protein options. The smell from the casino was present as well.
- Sonii (6/5): - Unruly guests
- Thomas (8/5): - Room clean but a bit dated. Sheets ripped on my wife’s side. Definitely comparable to a best western, comfort suites, two star hotel.
- Rosa (10/5): - Clean n quiet
- Adelina (8/5): - Would highly recommend
- Ariel (8/5): - Overall good stay. Lots of parking for a truck and small trailer
- Rolando (10/5): Great Stay - The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean, it was quiet the room was big and spacious and the bed was very comfortable and we plan on going back more often
- Jean (10/5): Decent Hotel Next to Casino - The hotel was decent, 2 star quality but clean. Great to be close to the casino! There is a horse racing track but it only runs late in the year.
- Stephen (10/5): - It was great
- Verified traveler (2/5): The staff was wonderful the Room was not. - The staff was wonderful the Room was not. The room smelled horrible like sewage. There were a lot small details that required work to fix. The shower curtain which is pictured was torn and stained. For the price I spent it was not worth it, especially the breakfast which had nothing hot it was all cold.
- Brad (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and attentive.
- Jerry (6/5): - Property needs a face lift
- Ruby (8/5): - I really enjoyed the room it was nice and comfortable, I didn't like that the casino was a smoking casino,.
- Andres and Armando (10/5): - Everything was great
- Miriam (10/5): - tooms where clean
- Joe (10/5): - Everything went really well. Was not notified that water would be shut off on the day of checkout so unable to clean up before driving back home. Otherwise stay was excellent.
- Jason (6/5): - Due to the fact that they offer smoking rooms, walking up and down the halls, you can smell it. The breakfast is very, very basic. Had a doughy, undercooked pizza from the restaurant. Staff was friendly, room was clean.
- Molly (8/5): - Front desk very efficient and friendly
- Tami (10/5): - My stay was absolutely amazing thank you so much
- Ryan (10/5): - Nothing is better than a weekend stay at the casino, lots of great food to choose from and lots to do.
- Ronald B (10/5): - Affordable and conveniently located hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Perfect for my quick trip.
- Veronica (10/5): - I like this property because of the casino.Parking is always hard to find especially on a weekend. The rooms are nice and clean, but there is no latch or lock on the door anyone with a key can come in.It felt very unsafe,i only stayed one night,so i just puy a chair in front.
- marcus (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Cynthia (10/5): - Nice & clean staff very friendly
- Patrick (10/5): - Great place lots of food options and the room was comfortable
- Scotty (10/5): - Clean rooms good service
- RICHARD (10/5): - Great experience
- richard (8/5): Baseball tournament - Everything was good but the beds were not that comfortable and the pillows were not that great but other than great stay. Casinos were convienent.
- MIKE (10/5): - Great location
- Kenneth J (10/5): - It was excellent. The only issue we had was the pillows are to hard for our liking but we were happy with our room
- Sandra (10/5): - When I first arrived and checked into our room, the room had a small odor. I tried to stay and ignore the smell but just couldn't. I called down to front desk and with no hesitation they kindly switched me to another room that was much pleasant. The casino was horrible to me but had.a.great.time
- Nadine (10/5): - The friendly staff. And it was really clean.
- Esteban (10/5): - Would definitely book again
- Chad (8/5): Overnight stay, wish it was longer - Our stay was because we were tired and stumbled on to Zia. It was nice. Except, we went to the bar to crab a bite. It took q0 minutes just to get a menu. There were 2 gals. One behind the bar, in which she was busy in the kitchen. And another gal on the floor. She is lazy. She was busy with a bar patron that is a regular. She could've helped her colleague by asking is what we needed and simply hand us a menu and tell us her colleague was the one who can take our order. It was disappointing to see her stand around with her regular.
- Patty (4/5): - Be careful what room the give you some of them stink really bad they are aware of the problem but they still put you in the room hoping you won't complain. I don't know why they would even put the rooms back in service but, they do. When you mention it they say oh we know I will check and see if we can move you.
This was the second time that this has happened.
- Octa (10/5): - Congratulations
- JOHNNY (10/5): - Staff were great room was nice but I didnt see alot of Security for safety.
- Benita (8/5): Upset - The stay was good enjoyed relaxed
The only thing I did not appreciate is that I was charged the deposit twice, and when I called got no help.
She told me that “ yea it does that to a lot of customers” like it was nothing
So my bank was overdrawn because of it
And still have not resolved it
Smh
- Cristina (10/5): - Very nice and cozy place I would go back and stay at anytime
- Nazareth (4/5): Zia hotel an casino needs improve and train employ - Everything was fine first day and the day we where leaving the cleaning lady was nocking my door at 7:20 am and the check out was at 11:00am that makes me furious because is a casino and my husband and I we were at the casino until 3-4 am and we wanted to sleep more time, then as well the bathroom shower doesn’t have pressure on top and not enough hot water it was warm, and I noticed the blanket trough inside has a stain of old blood ,that was disgusting,
- Rey (4/5): - Rooms smell bad
- Phillip (2/5): - Doors are broken on the side and in the back. Reception was very hateful when calling to ask for toilet paper and soap. We went to eat 45 mins before closing and set there for 15 minutes before any one came to the table and then we were told they called last call and they wouldn’t serve us food! Very unorganized we stay at lots of casinos but will not be staying here again.
- Loraine (6/5): Disappointing - TV had no power cord. When I called reception to report this (I didn’t want to be accused of taking it), there was no apology or offer to have it remedied. The pillows were over stuffed and uncomfortable. The bedside table was dusty.
- TWANESHA (10/5): - I liked everything except no hot breakfast was available. I feel that people spend a good amount of money at the casino, a hot breakfast should be provided.
- Teri (8/5): - The property had been upgraded from the last time we were there! What a nice suprise! Much cleaner and just well kept!
- Tanner (10/5): - Great property, great value, friendly staff!
- Brenda (10/5): - Good place to stay!! Except the parking area there’s not that much parking spaces for guest
- Lorana (2/5): - My room was filthy dirty and had a very bad smell… like they had not cleaned in weeks.
- Tate (10/5): - Nice
- Angeline (8/5): - It had a nice vibe
- Kevin (4/5): - Heater in the room didnt work. Asked staff to look at it, and still didnt get repaired. Stayed 2 nights and then was gone.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean room and a good breakfast.
- crystal (6/5): - All games were electronic
No alcohol in the casino but in the bar
The casino was so smokey
- James (8/5): - Rooms comfortable
- Wallace (10/5): - Everything was great. Need to turn the heat up a little. Was pretty cold in areas
- Mi Sook (10/5): - Good
- william (6/5): - Hotel is good. Horseracing is good . Casino is small no table games or sports betting. Not enough dining choices.
- Jeff (10/5): - Nice stay
- Jeff (10/5): - Awesome place
- Shoffner (10/5): - Nice place
- Helfon (10/5): - One light in the bedroom. Too dark and inconvenient.
- Belen (10/5): - Pretty radd
- wesley (8/5): - The room was great, staff friendly. The issue is parking. The hotel parking gets mobbed by casino users so if you are staying there good luck with parking. People make up their own parking spaces or park along the curb. Since they dont check the license plates of the guests vs the casino visitors there is no enforcement or penalties for people that park in the hotel parking lot but dont stay at the hotel they just want close parking and dont want to walk from the casino lot.
- Jarit (8/5): - The Hotel was quite nice, clean for the most part although the microwave was left dirty prior to our arrival.
- Cristobell (2/5): - Worst experience ever
- Ricardo (4/5): - No shampoo in The shower despenser
- Ryan (10/5): - It was a really good hotel. Breakfast was great!! People were really friendly
- Sarah (6/5): - Rooms were nice and clean. Didn’t like they were going to charge a fee for checking in early.
For a casino the breakfast was not as expected.
- Joyce (8/5): - It was confusing as to where you check into the hotel The young gal who checked us in coils not answer any of our questions concerning the room, how to get to our room, when the race track was running, or where to park.
- Austin (10/5): - It was a good stay food was good had a leaking faucet, other than that great stay
- Chris (8/5): - Its ok. Not wonderful.
- David (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. Pillows were hard to sleep on as they were bulky.
- Dana (10/5): - Rooms are clean
- david (10/5): - Great place to relax after working all day do a little gambling. And they even had horse races going on yesterday afternoon.
- Cameron (4/5): - Took forever to get checked in. Got to the room and the room was dirty. Someone’s food and drinks was left in the mini fridge. Floor of the room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Covers missing from the outlet plugs. Rooms in bad need of attention. Disappointing for the money you have to pay to stay here.
- Kory (6/5): - Dirty.
- Rachel f. (4/5): - Staff was friendly and fixed the first problem. First room given to us had not been cleaned. So now, with luggage at had back down, Second room paper roll was broken and the refrigerator did not work, second option ice machine, Out of Order.
The second room was clean, comfortable, But as Seniors a big inconvenience with the back and forth, for a one night stay.
- Beverly (4/5): - The rooms smell really bad and very outdated and dreary. The parking for the hotel is horrible. Also the breakfast is bad too. For a casino I was very disappointed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible - I had to change rooms three times during my weekend stay. The first room they gave me was a dirty room that someone had just left from. Second room smelled like sewer or gas that was unbearable to even stay in. The third room was good.
- Patricia (10/5): - great stay. Loved options having something in hotel to do(bar and casino) only downfall was lot of smoking in casino.
- thomas (6/5): - Upon arrive to my room, I opened the door and was hit in the face with a giant waft of sewage smell. I don't know if it's just the area or my room. It was late, passed out and went to work. Next day same thing. I asked the front desk for some candles or spray or something. They wanted me to walk down and get it. Was not impressed with having to make due on my own.
- Maria (10/5): - Nice place
- Terri (10/5): - OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL. WE ENJOYED THE CASINO, HOTEL AND THE RESTAURANTS. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.ALSO THE FREE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No issues
