- Justine (10/5): Great weekend away - The hotel was really lovely, breakfast was good too. We was upgraded to a large double room with ensuite bathroom. End of the road was the tram stop to everywhere, definitely be visiting again.
- Maria (10/5): By the Seaside - Really enjoyed our stay at By The Seaside. On arrival my husband was taken to the allocated parking space at the bottom of the road and our suitcase was taken up to our room. Noticed that there were no towels in the room, but nipped downstairs and Denise was very apologetic and sorted straight away. The room was lovely and included a fridge stocked with soft drinks, beer and snacks. These were payable but very reasonable prices. Large smart TV and even had a mini Alexa. Room was nicely furnished and bathroom although quite small was more than adequate with toothbrushes, toothpaste, flannels and cotton wool provided, which we didn't use but was a nice touch. Small shower gel and shampoo also provided. Breakfast was very good - selection of fruit, cereal, pastries etc and full English breakfast or Eggs benedict taken to order. There was also a bar, which we didn't use, as we were out most of the day and didn't get back until quite late The only negative was that our room wasn't cleaned or towels changed throughout our stay (4 nights) not sure if we should have requested tnis? Only room sign available was ' do not disturb' but not a big issue for us. We would definitely recommend By the Seaside
- Davyd (10/5): Little Gem by the seaside - Such a lovely B&B. Right near to all the attractions. Tram stop a 2 minute walk away. The Owners made us feel very welcome and the breakfast is the best. Highly recommend
- NEALE (10/5): Beautiful,Clean & Close to Town Centre - Fantastic friendly hosts & staff. You couldn’t wish for a better room & facilities. They have a lovely bar in there if you wish to drink before you go out. Taxi service from there arrive quickly if you don’t fancy the 10 min walk to the centre. Breakfast was very good with loads on offer to cater for everyone. I don’t usually leave reviews but these guys certainly are worthy of one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay in Blackpool. But don’t do it when I return lol I'll be returning 100%!!!!

- darren sykes (10/5): Perfect - From the minute we were grated nothing was too much trouble the hotel is done to a very high standard and the room we was in was stunning 50inch TV a alexa to listen to music hence the TV never got turned on the room it self was spotless the breakfast was hearty and very tasty a perfect start to the day we will deffo go back its the best guest house I've ever stayed in at blackpool

- Graham (10/5): Blackpool Gem - Amazing hosts! The place is spotless, comfortable and well located. The food is very good with a large selection of hot and cold options. Our hosts, Kim and Hillary were a wreath of local information and lore, and quick to offer up assistance with travel snags as well as suggestions for local events, places to eat or things to do! Our room was spacious, clean, and bright, lots of power outlets. The room was quiet and private, definatly a place we plan to return to.
- kevin (8/5): Lovely hotel close to amenities - Lovely spotlessly clean and very well turned out hotel with seaside theme. Central to all amenities and close to the front. Owners were very friendly and accommodating went out there way to fulfill our needs. Lovely breakfast with great range of choices. Only downfall was the bed was too hard for our liking so didn't have the best sleep, but the owners did say they are updating the rooms regularly. Would recommend and will return if a softer bed was available

They had even left us some sandwiches, pringles and drinks in our room for when we arrived :) Ideal location a minutes walk from the seafront on a nice quiet road. Can't recommend this place enough!

Very friendly hosts and a good breakfast in the morning. Would be very happy to stay again. Only issue, which is normal for Blackpool, is limited parking outside but we got lucky this time.

- Wendy (10/5): Perfect weekend stay - We stayed 2 nights (Fri-Sat) We had a lovely warm welcome from Hilary. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The hotel was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, very comfy beds, fluffy towels and toiletries. All the little extras (in room safe, clothes brush,cotton balls, box of tissues, bottled water) really made it special. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice served by Hilary who as always was bright and cheerful. Hilary even called us all by name ! Some on street parking but a small car park at the church near by was only £4 for 24 hours and was well lit and felt safe.

- Fred (10/5): Nice place lovely hosts - Just spent a weekend in Blackpool and stayed at By The Sea. The hosts are brilliant Kim and Lyndsay can't do enough for you. Breakfast is great and the rooms are very comfortable despite being a little small, but spotlessly clean. The only downside which is no fault of the hosts is the nightmare called parking, the whole or Blackpool seems to be afflicted with this, overall this is a brilliant B and B and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
- Christine (8/5): small but cosy - My granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied though the strictly 45 minute 'slot' may not suit all. The steps were very steep and we were up several flights. I should have mentioned on booking that I am recovering from a badly broken ankle, but no special requirements were available on the website to request. I would have loved to have had a bath instead of just a shower, though the shower was a decent one. My granddaughter was particularly keen to have a room with wifi, which this one had, though not whilst sitting in bed, as the attic roof seemed to block the wifi service. Our room was small but comfortable and the owners were very kind and helpful.

- Laura and John (10/5): Brilliant few days away - We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Blackpool, and to be honest it is one of the best B&B's we have stayed in for a long time. The hosts Kim and Hilary were so welcoming, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them, they just made you feel so welcome. The double room we had was quite small, but very tidy and had all the facilities you could need and was also spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely, there was a lot of choice, cereals, juice, toast, cooked breakfast. The only down side was the limited parking, but on a school holiday during the illuminations, it was to be expected. Would definitely go again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Situation was perfect for walks along the prom, close proximity to Pleasure Beach, town, beach and local transport facilities. Food and hospitality was first class; breakfast choice was excellent and the served full English was top class.
- Roy (10/5): Weekend away during the illuminations. - A very good experience and stay. Hilary and kim were very helpful and the service was great. One of the cleanest hotels of its size I have stopped in and would recommend.
- Jami (10/5): One night stay - I travelled down to stay there to break up the journey from Scotland to Birmingham, Kim and her husband are very friendly, the rooms are extremely clean and well stocked. I didn't indulge but they even had choccy tea cakes in the room!! Also, there was no cheap crappy coffee like in a lot of hotels, Douwe Egberts only here. Only 2 mins walk from the sea front and beaches, 10 to the Pleasure Park on the front and a 5 minute walk to the football ground. Not being a breakfast person I didn't try it, but it smelt deeeelicious!
- Karen (10/5): Close to everything - We found parking on St Chads Road, but we were lucky. Vey welcoming hosts. Comfortable rooms although our bathroom was a little too small. Tea and Coffee in the rooms and excellent Wifi. Breakfasts pleasant and plentiful. I really liked the other guests in the B &B aswell as they were interesting and made us all laugh
- Daryl (10/5): “A "Great" place to stay” - Just back from a 2 night stay with my partner, and will say this was an amazing find. The location was perfect as was the price and central to both the Pleasure beach and the tower. The owners Kim and Hilary were briliant and really frendly and the breakfasts were amazing. With a wide choice. The room we stayed in was the double ensuite which was clean, well made up and was perfect for just the 2 of us and had everything we could need. This was my first time staying in a B&B and after this would definatley do it again. Next time I goto Blackpool I will be staying here if not fully booked.
