Jun Matsumura (9/5): - 安価で飲み会での泊まりや出張に使用するには十分。一泊するには部屋の広さとしては十分。お風呂のお湯がしっかり熱くて良かった。24時間出入りできる。壁紙などしっかりリノベはしてあって綺麗だったエレベータなし。入口ホール，階段など，全体に狭い感じは否めない。建物自体は古い感じはある。

Sandra (5/5): Betaalbaar maar sterk verouderd hotel - Het personeel is vriendelijk en het hotel is schoon. Bij het gratis ontbijt worden bakjes yoghurt en sneetjes brood met jam aangeboden. De verdere staat van het hotel is echter zo dat ik toch geen voldoende kan geven. De bedden zijn zeer verouderd, hard en de frames zijn kapot. De badkamer ruikt naar riool. Er zit enkel glas in de ruiten waardoor de kamer erg koud wordt en bovendien heel gehorig is. Meestal heb ik niet veel last van geluid, maar nu wel. We sliepen aan de straatkant en zijn 's nachts meermalen wakker geworden vanwege hard gepraat van groepen mensen. Eigenlijk heeft het hotel een flinke renovatie nodig. De bedframes waren kapot en ook in de ontbijtzaal waren stoelen beschadigd en doorgezakt. De badkamer is flink verouderd en ruikt niet fris.

Marco (8/5): - Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Japanische Bärenmäntel im Zimmer (Jukata). Coole Mini Badewanne mit richtig heißem Wasser. Wir haben gegenüber vom Bahnhof mit offenem Fenster geschlafen, so leise sind Japaner. Am Ende haben wir sogar noch Frühstück bekommen. Für mich als deutschen absolut underrated. Kann ich jedem für einen Zwischenstopp empfehlen.

Iriyaa (9/5): Convienient location, good value for money. - Located right across from the train station, from which is a short train ride to narai-juku. There is a simple free breakfast service with breads too. The air conditioner is located right above the bed, its a bit unsightly, but thats all.
Giovana (8/5): Great quick stay! - The hotel was perfect for our needs! We stayed here after hiking the Nakasendo Trail. Communication was great since before the check-in process, when i was inquiring about my luggage forwarding. My luggage was already in our room when we arrived. We stayed for only one night, but we slept very well and had a wonderful shower. The water is very hot, and with a strong pressure, amenities are provided in the room and even yukatas. The bed was firm. There was an additional blanket, which was great (but not needed, just personal preference). The heater in the room was very effective, and we stayed warm and cosy. Free small breakfast available (bread, butter, jam, yogurt, coffee and tea). It was just what we needed before heading to our next destination in Japan. Shiojiri is a great quick stop, and the hotels location is very convenient. There are many great izakayas and restaurants nearby, too! I'd definitely recommend it. everything was perfect

A small breakfast of yoghurt, toast and coffee was included in the bargain price and started at 5.30am. It was opposite the station. . All good.

Fantastic spot right across the road from the train station and only 25 minutes by local train to the feudal town of Narai. Really cheap accommodation with an ensuite and super clean. I will be back. Eden (9/5): Great base at Shiojiri for Nakasendo start - The location is just across the JR Shiojiri Station. Makes for a good base as it is easy to visit the neighboring towns via train. The staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag while my room was being prepared (I arrived early). They also brought it up it up to my room once done. They also try to provide English translations to their rules and regulations. Room was comfortable for its size (I was backpacking so I did not have luggage to spread. Room size would be cramped, otherwise). This hotel is also like a time capsule but kept very clean. It was pretty good for a night's stay. Breakfast was free and consisted of bread, yogurt, butter, select jams, tea, and coffee. Rooms are ready from 4pm, but this is not a problem. I left my bag and rode the train to explore Lake Suwa.

Lee (8/5): Great stay at Biz Hotel Shiojiri Ekimae - Love the location, just in front of JR Shiojiri station. Love the breakfast, though simple with 2 bread, yougurt and coffee for self service. Love the staff for their hospitality and help in forwarding our luggage. Can do laundry with dryer. The clothes were still very damp after dryer of 30 mins. We were not allowed to use the washer and dryer after 10pm.

hiroki (8/5): エレベータはないけれど、それ以外は満点でした - 駅前なので夜中までうるさいのではと心配したのですが、斜め向かいが警察の交番で取り越し苦労でした。また、ホテルの駐車場は６台分を歩いて３０秒以内の見えるところに確保されていて、午後５時にチェックインで私が２台目の利用でした。月末のウイークデー（金曜日）という条件が参考になればと思います。WiFiの利用については、２階禁煙室内に光ケーブルがきていて、使えることを確認して利用しました。やや古い建物なので５点満点をつけられないのが残念ですが、そのこと以外では満点です。なお、５時からの軽食も利用しました。無人でしたので、ホールの明かりを自分で点けてトースターなど準備されているものを使用しました。熱いコーヒーも用意されていて本当に便利です。

NOBUHARU (10/5): - 翌朝の始発電車に乗るために前泊。標高が高いこともあり、ヒーターは強めに設定されていました。何故かお湯の設定温度が75度！普通に湯船にお湯をためると時間がかかる上、確実に火傷するので水を混ぜながらお風呂に入ることが大切です。それさえ留意すれば、快適に過ごせるホテルです。

Roger (8/5): Convenient and Clean - Just 2 mins walk from the Shiojiri station which is great as a base to explore the surrounding areas. The front desk staff speaks little English but very friendly and helpful. The bed was pretty comfortable and the rate is reasonable with free continental breakfast and free flow of coffee/tea 24 hrs. The only drawback is check in time at 4pm.
