- Ketcha (5/5): -
- Filip (6/5): - Locatie
rustig ontbijt was beperkt
- Tracey (8/5): -
- George (6/5): - The condition of the rooms and amenities is lacking, and the rooms are overpriced.
- Enis (3/5): -
- Jean Telesphore (4/5): - Locaux mal entretenus, chambre exiguë, aucun confort
- Marie madeleine (8/5): -
- Angeth (8/5): - The property is located in a very quiet and safe part of the city, right opposite the American and Moroccan Embassies. Many diplomatic missions are located in the are, which reassured me about safety.
The rates were reasonable compared to other hotels.
The facility however is a bit old. The rooms could do with some upgrade.
The breakfast was really good. There were sufficient choices of food
- Tracey (9/5): This is the fourth domino have stayed and I really enjoy the staff, the massage & spa on site and close to the airpo - It’s all really comfortable and quiet. The hall floor needs to be replaced as there are spots coming up that you trip on going to the rooms.
- Nicolas (4/5): - Mauvais séjour
- Alibal241 (2/5): Very poor -
- Nicolas (9/5): Superb -
- Emmanuel (4/5): - Ne vaut pas son prix. Très basique et infecte de moustiques
- Emmanuel (7/5): Good - Rooms are too small.
- africanman_840 (6/5): A decent stay - The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was ok. The staff was pleasant. It is in a good location.
The ATM was hard to use. I think that the hotel needs to be renovated. It is also rather expensive considering its quality. There is nothing special about it.
- Diouf (7/5): Good -
- Jessica (4/5): - Really needs hot water and a customer service upgrade!
- Nico (7/5): Good -
- Issah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chao (6/5): Pleasant -
- UKbanker33 (6/5): Survivable near-airport experience - Perhaps a two-star hotel if located anywhere else. Front desk was baffled by visitors. Rooms were Ibis-light plus lizard turds crunching under sliding doors. Hot water sporadic. Cable TV and internet intermittent in more distant (quiet) rooms. Plus was that ATM worked some of the time, restaurant was not bad at all and pool area quite pleasant. Location five minutes from airport (but shuttle elusive at best) and across from US Embassy convenient for escaping and arriving.
- Dirk (6/5): - Directly across from the massive US Embassy and a few minutes from the airport, this hotel is well located. Then things fall apart. No shuttle from the airport. Check in desk which is often confused. Rooms of an Ibis Hotel in provincial hotel in France which have not been maintained in years. It's survivable if you get a good internet rate given the outrageous Libreville hotel charges. But can do better.
- Regine (4/5): Disappointing - The outdoor lounge Small rooms, not very comfortable. malfunctions (aircon, sliding door could not be locked, safe could not be used)
- Andre (8/5): Comfortable - Location and shuttle.
- Avelino (2/5): - Terrible everything
- A.a (5/5): Passable -
- Lorena (8/5): - I stayed at the hotel for 1 night in 2 different occasions.
The rooms where in good state and very clean but not even a small
bottle of water as a refreshment (refreshments were not mentioned but water would have been nice).
In both occasions house-keeping entered the room when I was still inside (8:30 am) and that was not pleasant. Also at 6 am they knocked on my door for no reason, spoke loudly outside my door and it looked like the staff was waking up guests (I did no request that).
Breakfast was very nice and fresh. Staff was also very nice.
- Hans Klein (6/5): - Isoliert und überteuert, wenig Service.
- Ndzah (1/5): Bad -
- Frank (6/5): - Bildane av rommene stemmer ikke! Gammalt og slitt! Dårlege senger!
Veldig hyggelige folk som jobber der!!
Frokost ok..
- William (4/5): - Worn down rooms that smelled like moth balls or bug spray. Some of the staff were super nice others could not even fake being pleasant.
- Nico (5/5): Passable - No hot water during my last stay / WiFi network is very poor
- Jones (5/5): Generally the hotel is not bad. However, the room was too small for the price - Its position The rooms are too small.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good hotel. Professional staff.
- Arsene (8/5): Very good -
- Rhoel (8/5): Onomo is a good option even though there are simple issues that reduce the overall experience - Safe neighborhood, across from the US embassy. Great food! Kudos to the chef. Missing soap and shampoo in the bathroom, only 2 towels provided and two small pillows. The airport shuttle does not operate when needed. So many flights from Europe arrived in the evening after 7 pm and the shuttle only works until 7 pm? Also forget it if you need a shuttle before 730 am to catch a flight. For such an international location as Libreville, it would be helpful if the concierge staff could speak some English or understand it. Use google translate...but don't expect much patience from the concierge staff. In Douala, the Onomo staff were more accommodating and bilingual. For the LBV location, only the early morning concierge staff were professional.
- Rhoel (8/5): A good option not just in Libreville but in Douala as well. - Safe location not too far from the airport. The restaurant was excellent and was fast relatively speaking for Africa, in general. Good air-conditioning. Water pressure was excellent in the shower. Modern interior. Good value overall for Libreville. The airport shuttle, which was an important factor in selecting the hotel ceases service before the big flights from Europe even arrive. Bed was harder than expected but still relatively comfortable. Individuals who like firm beds will be fine. No soap or shampoo provided in my room, but the other room my co-worker stayed in had some. No water provided.
- Kinta (8/5): Very good - Ease of booking and great price Location rather far from town center
- Great (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oslonorway (5/5): Ok, clean, but remote - Clean hotel with a friendly and service-minded staff, mostly good food with a changing daily menu. Secure area close to the US Embassy and presidential residence Rooms are very basic, wifi didn't work well in the room, breakfast rather mediocre, when wanting a better dinner the superthin, burned entrecote was not up to par. Remote from the city centre sometimes held back the presidents travels
- Yogesh (8/5): Decent place to stay with compromises😀 - location, strong wifi, good air conditioning, nearby areas r very good for walking/running Very small rooms, food options r limited and very expensive, exchange rate at reception is very poor, toiletries in room is very limited, not easy to find a taxi, no mini markets/shops around.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Thierry (6/5): Pleasant -
- Simon (6/5): good for a short stay, friendly staff but Wi-Fi issues - staff were very friendly, food was good. I had asked for a room with strong Wi-Fi as I needed to work. was told I had been given one. the signal in my room was too weak to connect to my laptop.
also when I had a shower the room flooded (the shower is not recessed enough in the floor) so I had to use my towel to prevent the water spreading
- Anil (8/5): Very good - Location, Silence & Service Shower Area
- Rachel (8/5): Decent option near the US Embassy - I stayed at Onomo for my first night in Libreville. The room was comfortable although a bit noisy when people are in the hallway. There also was no bottled water provided in the room, which I'd think would be standard for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel is located right across the street from the US Embassy, so is probably vert convenient for visiting bureaucrats. For others, however, it's a bit out of the way. I also heard that sometimes taxis are not allowed to come to Onomo because it's located near the presidential palace and they often close down to road. Fortunately I had private transport so didn't have to deal with this, but I can imagine that being a huge problem if not.
- Elvis (7/5): Good -
- Barend (1/5): Bad - Aircon did not work in first room. No staff member spoke any english. Rooms are worn out. Doors full of water stains. There were no soap or shower gel in the room. They had me booked only for one night.
Paid for two nights with visa card. Booked put the sunday due to horrible night - room were next to the swimming pool with live music playing the whole night. Hotel refused to refund the second night. The reception clerk ' - Patrick, stated that is Onomo policy that they do not refund if paid by Visa card.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Open aired. Extremely green especially since we came in from Burkina Faso.
- Mohd Izad (10/5): Excellent stay - All good and meet expectation
- davestly (8/5): Fair hotel for a short stay - I stayed for 4 nights at the end of a business trip. The hotel is in a quiet area not far from the airport. The rooms, whilst small are comfortable enough. The bed was good, with quiet and effective air conditioning. I liked the wood screen that could cover the window, which meant it is completely dark at night. Wifi worked well in the room. The shower is a bit open, meaning the floor gets wet and the water was not very warm.
Breakfast I thought was poor. After my first day, I walked down the road to Le Moulin which had good pastries and juice. Dinner in the restaurant was quite good. Parking on site was good.
The ATM in reception never once gave any money, despite many attempts.
- apollinf (2/5): THE WORST Hotel - This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in terms of management. It is now 12AM and people are shouting in the corridor and nobody cares despite complaints by other customers, this is disgusting. I tried to calmly speak to them and they shouted at me, Where is the receptionist?
- Verified traveler (8/5): Africa Hotel - There is not a lot of choices in the area where we were doing business. This hotel was fine.
- Junki (4/5): - staffs are friendly but the condition is too poor not to have even a refrigerator. Also the cost of water is very expensive because of not providing a complimentary water.
- ALBERTO (10/5): - Hotel cómodo, limpio y sencillo. Buena calidad / precio.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Its not really well experience for me to stay here. Very lack of professionalism manner
- anantharamakrishm (10/5): Nice place - Spent 12 days and the staff were very kind helpful. From the room service to the waiters and their amazing chef. Thanks to.the management for all their support. They have been very supportive. A place which calm and cause.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No permanet hot water, interner not avaible in some rooms, restaurant menu on card is not available.
The overall feeling is that, the hotel is experiencing maintenance issues. The staff is obliged to lie to cover is lack of maintenance, which falls under the owner responsability. The staff seem umpowerlmfull, and demotivated. They shown aggressivity vis a vis the clients complains. I cann't recommend this hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to live. Clean, great stuff. I recommend it!
- Dave_Francfort (8/5): Onomo Libreville: Very nice place - Very nice and save location: nearby the US Embassy and the residence of the gabonese president. The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are spacious and well designed.
A gym would not be so bad for a little workout before starting the day or to relax after a stressful day.
- AlanSMackenzie (4/5): Highly NOT recommended - SO not impressed with this place. If you are vegetarian, you get a mushroom omelette and salad every day. Nothing else on the menu. There were no towels in my shabby room when I arrived. If you speak English, be prepared to be completely ignored by the staff.
This place is on the opposite side of the airport from town, so it takes 10 mins by taxi to get to city centre, which you will need to to liven up your eating experiences.
There are no shops near this hotel. None. There are no bars or restaurants closer than a 20-30 minute walk.
The ATM works sporadically. Wifi in rooms works only if you get a room close to reception, and good luck arranging that. Otherwise prepare to spend a lot of time on the lobby.
There is no drinking water provided in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities.
