- Quest234101 (4/5): Disappointment and unprofessional - Disappointment and unprofessional attitude during check-in. On arrival we received a brochure with upgrade of rooms that had to pay any price. After I was not interested in an upgrade, we still got a good spacious room with a view to the city. The shower room was small and shower head was broken. The water was filthy and gave off a bad smell. Even a cockroach came to greet us while showering. The bed was made of cheap wood and not sturdy. The moment you want to have peace and quiet, you get renovation work in the hotel. The photos do not correspond to reality and that makes this hotel not smart but dirty.
- Allan (6/5): - Very convenient transportation wise. Trains services, mrt, buses all very easy to get , super cheap shopping for batik and ladies clothings at famous Thamrin City Mall . Also nearby Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia mall ,Sarinah mall. Thank you very much to the lady manager mdm Aryati for her services and directions during our 6 nights stay .The staff were all very polite and couteous and helpful to try their best to accomodate our requests and inquiries especially madam Aryati. Will be an ideal place if not for the lack of availibility of room safety box and no safety latch in room

Some of rooms on maintenance but the the have best location in city center

- BartosJr (6/5): Affordable stay in the city - This place located in the heart of Jakarta, just a walking distance to malls and public transportation. The room is small, you may get a room without a window, but its ok just for a rest. Cleanliness needs improvement
- indebowljimbaran (2/5): The hotel picture on Agoda/ any web is a Scam - I arrived at the hotel expecting the same hotel as picture. When i arrived i found the hotel on Fully Construction side. I wonder how big company lile Agoda or Traveloka still selling it. The reception was messy , dusty and full of old equipment. You are literally inside of CONSTRUCTION .. i cant understand how on earth they still selling the room ? my booking cant be refunded .. eventhough what they sell is totally a BAD HOTEL CONSTRUCTION SIDE and they wont apologize for this issue . I paid for IDR 450,000 and they only refund me for 10 USD . What a joke .

- JuliantoT9 (2/5): Dusty and Dirty - At first, I thought this would be a nice hotel from the appearance in Agoda & also I thought that it will be great experience since the hotel is located just near the city centre (Grand Indonesia). The price is very affordable as well. However, after checked in to the room, I felt very disappointed. The room is small, dusty & not clean enough. They don't provide slipper and we have to step on the dusty floor. The most disgusting was when I saw 2 small cockroaches in the room & bathroom. I don't recommend this hotel, unless if you want an affordable hotel with an easy access.
- EKA (6/5): Great location but the road around hotel is getti - I used to stay here in 2018 if our company was doing a project in Jakarta. Never complaint because it is cheap and strategically located and also near BNI CITY STATION so we can catch airport train. But unfortunately, the road to go to hotel is a bit confusing, many the traffic engineering makes the way to go to hotel further away.

They served breakfast from 7-10am at sizzler restaurant so I thought the food would be great and it turned out that they didn’t serve a good food😂 so I ate some kind of sour soup which I guessed was thick tomato soup that was ok to eat and it has barley in it

- mnstraveling (2/5): Worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. - This hotel has very small rooms and their bathrooms are small as well. Although they kept it clean. But still the fact that it charges you alot for what it offers. Also they did not have any wardrobe for your clothes. And their staff was pretty slow to respond. Also they will only provide you 2 water bottles for a day and that too were very small one. If you want more water then you had to buy it and that too was expensive. This hotel is located in a nice area but they do not serve well and it is overpriced for what they offer. They had wifi in the hotel but strangely it would not work in the rooms and would only be useful in the lobby. Also they do not understand English language and that becomes tough to communicate with them.

Staff: Please train them on how to talk to the guests. One of security guard was asked me for a cigarette.

When checked in, the card did not work right, then we have to waited for a while until the guy found the new one. The bed sheet was very dirty, like had been used by previous guest. We asked them to change but they only changed the sheet and pillow case, while bed cover stay same. Checked the bath room, no towel there. We asked then. My time for resting was distracted by waiting for the amenities. The ambiance also was very bad. The only one good thing is the location was very strategic. In center of the city. You only need 5 mins walk to station, 5 mins walk to Grand Indonesia, there is Transjakarta nearby.

- Nyamfoodies (4/5): 2 stars hotel with bad services - When u first check in, they will ask u for some deposit for 200k which the same amount that i paid for the room (if u book at some travel app), its quiet troublesome if u dont have cash I upgraded into premiere double because has fridge but turn out the fridge didnt work that well, also the air con didnt work so well One more thing, if u bring ur own car like me, my police number is even, and if by tomorrow u check out by 7am and if its odd, ur car cannot go!!! So stuck in the hotel for another 2 days, since that area they make one way!!! Stupid regulations! The things that are good here is its cheap, and near center of jakarta and has 2 restaurants in the lobby : kin no taki n american sizzler
- Chris (6/5): Okay apart from breakfast - Location: decent with public transport nearby & the malls within walking distance. Room: pretty comfortable, not overly clean but acceptable for the price paid. Reception service: fine, no problems there. Breakfast: awful - I feel it is a combination of this hotel not having many foreign visitors stay there, together with hardly any guests booking breakfast there. I asked for a cup to put coffee in & was given one with a grunt from the staff: thanks for the service.....also the buffet itself had hardly any choices (you could have anything you want as long as it is fried rice or fried noodles essentially).

Seriously. - it was my mistake, totally my mistake not to check the review about this hotel first on tripadvisor. i just consider the location and the cheap price. with IDR 220,000 there's no doubt that the price is incredibly cheap for that location. but never again... the lobby was awful, it was a mess and very dirty like no one to dust and clear up the counter behind front desk. the room... it was very bad experience, the wall is dirty and it was poorly designed with cheap materials. please use your imagination about how bad the linen and towel. there's no soap in the bathroom and the bathroom door is like going to fall down everytime you open it. well, just stay away from this hotel, especially room 313. its better to pay more money than waste money at all like this

Other than the friendliness of the staff and the hot shower was working well, the rest were totally a disappointment to us. I personally suggest that all airconds are to be replaced (I said replaced and not serviced) and the rooms have to be checked and well maintained. The rooms were small and one of the rooms we had was leaking. People who read my review often know that I look forward to big room with windows. That didn't happen although I booked for it. As a result of total dissappointment.. I checked out just after fours hours of checking in. Totally an unpleasant experience and would not recommend unless you dont mind the things I just shared. =)

Very good service and some excellent restaurant already inside the building for western and Japanese food. Very reasonably priced too. My only qualm was that the western restaurant closed a little too early, not like the Japanese one.

The staff is very helpful and we actually enjoyed the breakfast unlike a lot of other complaints here. But the room was filthy! The sheets had hair on it and blood stains. My boyfriend and I slept on top of the blankets with our own bedding. The room smelled bad and the bathroom looked dirty as well. I am nowhere near being a hotel snob and fully understand budget hotel but they need to really do something about the cleanliness in this hotel. Aside all that we thank the management and staff for helping us out in every other way.

- padala12 (2/5): small room. - We stayed this hotel for 2 nights but never ever want to stay there anymore. Room are small although was advised to change to a bigger one with sofa bed. but the sofa bed was so dusty has to ask for bed sheet. There is no face tower and the bath towel you can see stain on it. Breakfast was the worst,just a few slice of bread or variety of food. Staff were friendly though.
- kristina waty (2/5): terrible and dirty hotel - Sangat buruk, remote ac, remote tv semua tidak bisa di gunakan. Line telp tidak menyala. SAluran air tidak bagus sehingga menimbulkan aroma tidak enak di dalam kamar.
- Lita (4/5): Kamar Biasa - Tipe kamar yang sangat simple di daerah Thamrin buat traveler yang tidak pilih-pilih. Jalan kaki 5-7 menit bisa sampai Grand Indonesia, 7 Eleven, Kantor Kedutaan, Busway Tosari.
- oliviachaterine (8/5): lokasi yang sempurna - this hotel located in the center of Jakarta city. so if you gonna hangout around center of jakarta with cheap hotel, this hotel can be a recommend for you. beside the cheap price, the room also very clean and not bad. the television channel quite complete. and the breakfast not too bad. and from here, easier to get public transportation
- eiv_hazri (6/5): Stayed there for each of my visit to Jakarta, But no improvement - I've been loyally staying there for each of my visit to Jakarta. Actually i love the location, but not the room & breakfast. I Stayed there because of the Manager is my friend best friend's. Just would love to encourage them to improve their breakfast spread. I can even guess what is the dishes for each of the day now. The fruit served also is not nice, may need to change.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I don't feel safe... - The check-in counter was dodgy, they even requested me to put 250,000 rupiah cash as deposit. Credit card not accepted. It is not even a proper check-in counter, it was located under the stairs. Room was small with no window. Shower area was flooded while showering. Shower head not working properly. All night can hear people opening and closing doors. I don't feel safe staying here. If you can pay a little more, choose holiday inn express, just right beside this hotel.
- janos (8/5): Small but comfy - Last minute booking rather unexpected. Room was ok in size but short on storage place. Couldn`t really fault it as the price was good. Breakfast at American Grill on second floor. Food is basic at best but gave it a miss after first time. But seen "chicken bolognaise" every morning. Not my preferred choice it was
- Jeff (6/5): Good price for location! - Friendly staff, help me to order McDonald delivery and send to my room. Wifi on & off on handphone, but laptop no problem. Japanese restaurant take so long to get our food ready. Hotel doesn't provide international adaptor but they selling USD 2/pc, solve my problem.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Could be a lot easier to check-in. - Takes a while to check-in here. Confusion over if I had paid or not and they didn't have 'Hotels.com' on their list, it was filed under 'Expedia', for obvious reasons. Room was tiny. But I needed somewhere to go for a few hours and this sufficed. Internet didn't work. Staff were friendly, but everyone is friendly in Indonesia..! Won't stay again unless I'm stuck. Better hotel for the same price over the road.. Although it's a busy road to cross!

- sk (2/5): Not good at all despite the excellant location - Renovations during stay. Place was dirty. Shower broken. Not fixed even after complaining twice. Supposed to be a 4 night stay. Moved out after 2 nights. And breakfast was horrible.

- けー (4/5): 場所値段は良いが、私が泊まった部屋は窓がなく閉塞感があった。 - 丁度改修工事だったのか、重機の音が気になりました。また部屋は最低限のスペースしかない為、安く泊まりたいという方以外にはオススメしません。
- oredayo (4/5): 立地のみが満足できるホテル - 下記のような点から、あまりオススメしません。 チェックインするために20分程度待たされる。 部屋に設置してあるエアコンが壊れ、水が大量に垂れてくる。 シャワールームにドアがついていないため、水が外まで飛んでしまう。 とはいえ、部屋自体は汚いわけではなく、十分満足できました。 ほぼ部屋にいなかったので、救われたものの、部屋で多くの時間を過ごす場合、 全くおすすめはできないです。
- coco (4/5): Dont waste your money - Room very dirty as well as the hotel. I saw, in the buffet breakfast, a cockroach around the food. I called the reception because the air conditioning was not cold enough and they did not do anything about it. Location good. Room very small
