Guest Reviews

- Richard (8/5): - Very nice movie themed house. Sabre is doing a good job bringing it back. Great company and breakfast.
- Scott (10/5): - The owner was very friendly and the property was clean and well kept.
- Josephine G (10/5): - Fun, clean, good breakfast!
- DIANA (8/5): - friendly staff, great breakfast
stairs were difficult
- Clinton (10/5): - Came in late (after 11) and was met at door. Good night sleep. Coffee and breakfast and talk. House used in Indiana Jones movie. Directions to train station (1 mile)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner is a Chef therefore breakfast was out of this world!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love all the Indiana Jones decor, memorabilia and keeping the authenticity of the house. I still can’t believe I was there!! It was total nostalgia and I definitely recommend it for any Indiana Jones fan!! The owner Sabra is a fantastic and gracious host who served us a delicious home cooked breakfast, highly recommended!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fabulous hostess
Great breakfasts
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The inn keeper was very hospitable and nice, the house was very clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sabra is THE best! She called the day before to check with us on our arrival. The home was built in the late 1800s, and was a movie set. Our room had its own bathroom. There was plenty of snacks and chilled bottle water available close by. Breakfast was superb and delicious! Sabra CAN cook! Blueberry dutch boy and lemon ricotta pancakes! This place was really close to town and the train station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a wonderful time and the breakfasts were amazing!! She always had good tips for whatever we were doing each day. We will be staying there again!
- Kirk (10/5): Glad I stopped - I was looking for a spot to make an overnight stop and am very glad I picked this B&B. Fun place to stay - quirky, confortable, quiet. Great breakfast, friendly owner. Recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was great overall. The room was large enough and the bed was excellent. The owner is friendly and makes a great breakfast. The house is old and interesting, and the fact that it looks the same as it did when used as the Jones family home in the third movie in the series adds to the appeal. Quiet location but easy to find, and a perfect place to stay if you are in town to ride the old train, which is a great way to spend a day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - An authentic 135 yr old house that was used in the film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". A unique bed and breakfast filled with history and character. Lovely owner who cares about her clients and treats them with kindness. Very clean rooms and wonderful breakfast! Highly recommend!
- VeraThomas (10/5): - Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing each day.
- Philip (10/5): Antonito Adventure - A wonderful visit. Great Proprietor who is also a Great Cook, and a great source of information and recommendations. Loved the dogs too! The local Historic Train Ride was FAB, as were the two local restaurants. HIghly recommend the entire Antonito Experience!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - TV limited to movies or old series. No reg stations.
Was very cludderd with books and nit naks.
- Chris (10/5): Great property, wonderful host and tasty breakfast - We had an excellent two night stay at Indiana Jones. I highly recommend this B&B. Pity that I can’t say the same about the choice of restaurants in town. There are only two restaurants, both with similar menus and both with poor service and unexciting food.
- Paul (8/5): Movie Buffs Will Love This Place! - My host was delightful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and ready exactly when I requested it. Great place if you’re coming to visit the Cumbres and Toltec RR, or if you’re a movie buff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff very helpful. Had some issues with the t.v. but hopefully those can be resolved. Carpet needs replacement. Bathroom was spacious, had hair dryer and soap and shampoo/ conditioner. Steps to rooms had a low ceiling, but easy to avoid. Not much to do in town!
- Ernest (4/5): - Facility is run down and poorly suited to people with mobility issues. The facility was not air conditioned as indicated when we booked on-line. The one small window had a screen insert to provide ventilation. The window had to be open to fully accommodate the insert or totally closed with the insert removed. The room was in an attic and had a low ceiling area that had to be ducked under to walk past the end of the bed.
- John Sheldon (10/5): Movie Buff's Delight - The house was used in the movie Indiana Jones and the last Crusade and attracts movie enthusiasts because of it. It is very close to the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad, which is why we chose it. The building is in remarkably good shape considering it was built in the 1880's, and the owner is dedicated to its upkeep. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh eggs, homemade jam, etc.
- Kathy (10/5): - Everything about this place was great! We were treated to a wonderfully hot, homemade breakfast each morning complete with fresh coffee first thing! Our every need was met and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic place. Saw it in the movie.
- Cassandra (10/5): Such a cute place to stay! - This was such a nice place to stay. Sabra is a wonderful host and an excellent cook. We will definitely be back!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved our hostess. She was very accommodating, friendly and made us feel right at home.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cumbres and Toltec train trip stay - The first impression wasn't good. The house is old and unadorned with no lawn or landscaping. Once we entered, however, our attitudes improved. The interior was well cared for and attractive. Sabra was a lovely host, offering us filtered water, snacks, and a library of dvd's for the evening and a delicious breakfast the next morning.
Schnelles WLan,
guter Service durch die Besitzerin,
Frühstück nach Wahl mit Obst, Speck u. Eiern sowie selbstgemachte Marmelade
Matratzen für europäische Verhältnisse sehr gut,
Würde hier wieder übernachten,
allerding in einem anderem Zimmer zur Nordseite
- Dianne (8/5): - Owner was lovely, but there was no TV.
- Sharon (8/5): stay at Indiana Jones B&B - stayed overnight to ride the Cumbers/Toltec train
Very convenient!
- Verified traveler (6/5): B and B offers memorabilia about the movie. - Our room was decent size with a Very comfortable bed. The house is old so floors are very squeaky. It is very dark around the house so difficult to find. Bathroom did offer a jacuzzi tub but the slanted ceiling above it prevented my husband to stand and use the shower head. He is not a bath person. Breakfast was pretty good but not hot.
- cindy (10/5): Very unique, close to scenic train ride! - Very unique and interesting house with a cool movie set history. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities. The huge, jetted tub was great! Sabra was a very accommodating host and went the extra mile to assure her guests had everything. I'm gluten-free and brought my own bread, which she gladly incorporated into her breakfast menu for me. She was also very knowledgeable about the area and made good recommendations as to restaurants, attractions, etc. I would definitely recommend this BnB to anyone, especially ones seeking a fun and unique experience! Cindy R.
- Mark (10/5): Great place to stay - Enjoyed our stay at the Indiana Jones B&B. Extremely comfortable bed, friendly and engaging hostess and a bit of fun staying at a movie location
- Judy (10/5): So fun staying in this nice very old house - Great hostess, clean, comfy, easily found. We had such a relaxing time here. We awoke to the sounds of a rooster crowing. Took us back in time
- Yves (10/5): Drive to Chama - Do not sleep soundly most of the time, had the best night, great vibes in that house!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Indiana Jones - Close to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railway station. The breakfast was simple and very good, the bed very comfortable and the hostess was very helpful.
- Robert (10/5): Very nice place - Great stay. Very cute house and cozy room.
- Cynthia (10/5): Comfort & privacy, plus a delicious breakfast. - Comfortable bed, great jacuzzi tub, toiletries were wonderful. Host was very nice & made us a great breakfast. I wish her lots of success.
- Cynthia (10/5): Private, quaint, welcoming and comfortable. - It was great to stay at this B&B and so happy to support a female owned business. The jacuzzi tub in my room was fantastic so was the comfortable bed and pillows. It was fantastic to wake up to the smell of a fresh homemade breakfast. The host is a great chef. I enjoyed meeting the people staying there and it was very close to the train station. Thank you.
- Jack (10/5): Indiana Jones B n B - Truly enjoyed our stay! Sabra very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area
- Ruth (10/5): - Lovely little house, fun theme, delightful room, friendly host (and a good cook too!). I stopped along my way on a road trip and returned to stay again on the way back. Loved it!
- Rock, goldminer (10/5): Oasis in the high Desert - As stated it is all things Indiana Jones and so much more. Sabra ,the owner /chef/everything, is a true treasure worthy of the search. Food is great, the room and bed was clean and comfortable. In this rugged and unlikely place it is truly an epic find.
- Jeanne (10/5): Hidden Gem in Antonito, CO - Whether you are passing through Antonito, CO or staying for the train, The Indiana Jones Bed and Breakfast is an excellent choice for a place to stay. The Bed and Breakfast is very clean, quiet and located in easy walking distance to the restaurants and stores on Main Street. The owner is very nice, friendly and easy to talk to. On top of that, you will feel completely pampered in the morning with a delicious breakfast.
- Curt and Doll (8/5): Nice B&B close to train ride. - House converted into a quaint B&B. rooms are small but nicely appointed. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful and basic but very good. Hostess is very accommodating and pleasant.
- Jeni (10/5): Scones and jam - This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we didn't know what to expect. I've loved this house since I first saw it in the movie; I was 10. So upon arrival geek mode turned on and I felt like I was seeing it again through a child's eyes.
Nervously, we approached the door and rang the bell. About 2 seconds later, Sabra appeared and we weren't nervous any longer. She showed us around, gave us a dinner suggestion, and then left us alone to do our thing (Which unfortunately for one of us was to immediately fall asleep after dinner and leave the other bouncing around
The rooms, we had 2, were cozy. One had the soaking tub, the other had the balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable.
As we were taking the train our first day, we had to get up at the crack of dawn. I'm not sure how she does it but Sabra had fresh coffee, scones, jam, eggs, sausage, fruit, tea, and just about anything else you'd need for breakfast ready. Oh, and when I stumbled in looking like I could go dark Willow at any second, Sabra had a smile on her face like she was actually happy to be up that early. I may never understand 'morning people' but I sure am grateful they exist! The following morning was exactly the same, except we had French Toast and bacon.
I cannot wait to go back and visit Sabra and have her delicious breakfast again. I
- Jeni (10/5): Awesome! - This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we didn't know what to expect. We were exhausted when we arrived the afternoon of our check in. This stop was essentially the center of our 9 state, 11 day trip. I've loved this house since I first saw it in the movie; I was 10. So upon arrival, geek mode turned on and I felt like I was seeing it again through a child's eyes.

She showed us around, gave us a dinner suggestion, and then left us alone to do our thing (Which unfortunately for one of us was to immediately fall asleep after dinner and leave the other bouncing around the room Phish Style.)
