- Lylywashere (10/5): Great stay with stunning views and excellent service - We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Dead Sea. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful green vegetation, creating a refreshing contrast to the unique Dead Sea landscape. The chain of swimming pools is lovely, though part of it was under renovation during our visit. Our room was large, bright, and offered a breathtaking sea view. The hospitality was warm and professional throughout. Both breakfast and dinner featured an impressive variety of local and international dishes, all fresh and tasty. We especially enjoyed the unique experience of floating in the Dead Sea and trying the mud bath — our skin felt smooth and rejuvenated afterward. The beach is easily accessible either by a short walk, elevators, or a convenient electric buggy service. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay!

- paull25 (10/5): Fantastic - I arrived early and was looked after by Marah, who sorted out an issue with my booking, she went above and beyond to correct an issue, which was my own fault, I was very grateful for the effort she made and the warm welcome she provided. An early check in and an upgrade to a wonderful 1 bedroom sea view suite, absolutely stunning. Complimentary fruit and cakes in the room, delicious. The main reason I was visiting was for the Dead Sea and the experience is so well done at the Hilton. I took the lifts down to the sea and the area with a lifeguard and mud. The kind lifeguard covered me in mud and took the photos of both me in mud and floating…. Truly memorable. No lounge, as expected but a voucher for a variety of drinks and snacks in the Lebanese restaurant, served during sunset hours - again wonderful warm service. I had a couple of drinks at the pool bar and dinner in the buffet restaurant…. A true feast. A very brief stay and a car back to the airport at 530am, so skipped breakfast, but this was one of the best Hilton experiences I have had. Some hotels the experience feels very forced, but here it felt so genuine and all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, of my 40 stays in Hilton’s this year, this was a great way to end the year, thank you.

- TomandNikkiTravel (10/5): Don’t just do a day pass stay for a night - Before booking we looked at the option of just doing a day pass at one of the hotels to do the Dead Sea experience, but after speaking with our guide he recommended booking a night and we are so glad we did. The sunset over the Dead Sea is amazing and definitely one to experience. We had a king junior suite and it had everything we needed. Bottled water tea and coffee making and toiletries. We opted for half board which included buffet dinner and buffet breakfast, both were varied and had international food options. They have two swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers if you plan to stay a bit longer. They have their own private section of the Dead Sea with a beach which is very stoney so bring your flip flops. They also have a mud area, where you can coat yourself with the mineral rich mud then wash it off in the sea. Be warned if you’re fair skinned it can leave an orange hue which comes off on towels and anything white you need to scrub it off with soap. They also have the sky bar upstairs, alcohol is heavily taxed here so don’t expect a cheap cocktail. There’s also a small bar / cafe in the lobby area for a quick snack or drink.
- LEMB1971 (10/5): Hotel Pool Day Pass is 100% recommended - Beautiful hotel with nice views of Dead Sea. After 45 min from Amman, I paid 60 J for a day pass. Half can be used in food and drinks ( 3 carakale beers at least ) Safety hotel where you need a passport to pass a gate. Pool area with music , showers and gym lockers. Dead Sea was another level with free mug and salt massage . 100 % recommended.
- Englishtravelfanatic (8/5): Wonderful staff - We would have given 5 rating if it had not been for one of the swimming pool's building works - which were in full swing at the end of November 2025. The work started around 7am and did not finish until hours after sunset. The first room we were given was directly opposite the works and the noise was terrible at the time we checked in (mid afternoon). After a few attempts to find a room in a quieter area, we were given one as far away as possible from where the works were. The room was lovely, spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the sunset (all rooms seemed to be facing west). The WC was separate from the main bathroom, which was different from other hotels in Jordan but a good idea. The room cleaning was superb. The staff were amazing and provided 5 star service: we cannot praise enough all those at reception, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, piano, the spa etc... In addition, the beach lifeguards were very attentive and helpful with the mud treatment. The (main) pool with the swim up bar has loud music all day but on our last day we found a quieter area near the children's pool. No music on the hotel's beach, just good humour, smiles and shrieks of delight as all of us enjoyed the floating in the sea and smearing mud on our bodies. The spa needs to be better marketed. It was in one corner of the complex, out of the way and not very visible. As a result, I had no trouble booking a massage for the day and time I wanted. The massage therapist was very professional and gave firm massage on my neck, back and shoulders, exactly as I had asked. The Lebanese restaurant at the Hilton served wonderful food and wines, and the waiting staff were very welcoming and attentive. Location of the hotel was good, a short walk from an indoor shopping centre with a few restaurants.

What I experienced was a luxury stay at a luxury resort, exceeding my expectations. As a diamond member I was upgraded during my stay to a wonderful sea view suite. Although the executive lounge was not open at the time of my visit, I was exceptionally well looked after by all of the staff. The room and hotel were clean and all of the staff were extremely courteous. I would like to thank the hotel for making it one of the most pleasurable stays I have had at a Hilton.

- suurkask (6/5): Definitely not 5 star - The hotel felt very secure. Already at the gate, all details were requested and the car was checked. Luggage was also checked at the hotel entrance. Car parking was handled quickly and conveniently by the hotel staff. The porters were also fast and efficient. The lobby is beautiful, large, and spacious. We had standard rooms in the Ajloun section. This is a quiet wing. We had rooms on the 7th floor, and one room had a beautiful view of the Dead Sea, but unfortunately, the other room faced a wall. I suspect rooms on the lower floors might not have any view at all. The room itself was beautiful, large and clean. The bathroom was nice and modern. The downsides are in the details. In a room intended for two people, there was only one drinking glass. Coffee and tea were served with paper cups. There were only four hangers in the closet. On the day of arrival, I repeatedly tried to call both reception and room service, but no one answered the phone. This is certainly not appropriate for a 5-star hotel. The hotel breakfast was very tasty and rich. We also tried the buffet dinner, and it was also high-quality. The service staff in the buffet restaurant were excellent—helpful and fast. The 1312 restaurant-bar offered a pleasant entertainment program in the evenings.However, the service there suffered. You had to wait for the menu and the waiter. Additionally, half of the items listed on the menu were not available. The menu is long, but only one cocktail was available! At the same time, you are not allowed to bring in your own food or drinks. In that case, you should at least be able to buy drinks from the bar. In a 5-star international chain hotel, there was no drink selection at the bar. This was not just about alcohol; for example, there was no pineapple juice, which was freely available in every shop and in other hotels in Jordan. The territory has a lot of greenery and flowers. Unfortunately, the central decorative pool had no water, which looked bad. Furthermore, several other pools were also undergoing renovation. I did not find any information about this on the hotel's website.

Pros: -Drop-off zone at front of hotel. -Security checks at entrance makes you feel safe. -Polite and attentive staff. Shatti in the Spectrum Restaurant was particularly helpful and is a credit to Hilton. -Check-in from 3pm. -Clean premises and modern decor. -Large Lobby Lounge with long Reception Desk (English speaking staff), plentiful seating, ATM machine, Concierge, Travel Desk, toilets, balcony area, Vue cafe, souvenir shop. -Free WiFi - use surname & room number to login. -Room 309 (Petra block, Floor 3) non-smoking room - spacious two double bed. Separate toilet. Large two-door cupboard with hanging space and drawers, iron & ironing board, 2x slippers, electronic safe, laundry bag. Suitcase stand. En suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, sink, large mirror. Two double beds with shared bedside table (2x UK plug sockets & wireless charging), huge lamp. TV stand with fridge (empty), kettle with tea & coffee making facilities. Oval table & one chair. 2x telephones. Effective air-con. Balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Distant partial view of Dead Sea. -Along with the Main Building there are also four wings (Ajloun, Jerash, Madaba, Petra), King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, car park, fitness centre, spa, meeting rooms. -Swimming pools (adults-only infinity pool overlooking the sea and two family outdoor pools). Lift access (2 separate lifts!) to the Dead Sea & private beach (Dead Sea mud provided) and beach bar. Plentiful sun loungers & parasols. Towel token provided on check-in. Dead Sea private beach open 8am to sunset. Swimming pools and pool bar open until sunset (strictly enforced). -Evening food options - Spectrum (breakfast buffet 7-11am & dinner buffet), 1312 Lebanese restaurant, and Bacchus Italian restaurant. We ate outside at Bacchus, located by the Main Pool (Infinity). -Checkout 12pm. Cons: -More directional signage would be useful as a large site. -Room - on arrival only one set of towels and one glass. -Room - toilet is separate from bathroom and has no sink. Removing the bath and replacing it with the toilet, would add more cupboard space. -Room - large sliding door across living room & bathroom is unnecessary. Who would want be watched whilst having a bath or shower?

The food was good although they do need to work on more vegan options. The chefs were super helpful though. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the sea itsself with the service and easy access couldn’t have been better. Bravo
- maevice (10/5): A next level experience - I visited the property with my disabled husband. We have been accommodated properly and we had a next level experience. The adult pools are accessible only by stairs but the staff made the Dead experience possible for my husband. Brought by a buggy, Jamil and Hussein brought the mud and sea water to my husband at the convenient part of the private beach. My husband did not expect that. Dining is also a wealthy experience of the region's taste infused by european, asian and american recipes. Happy and attentive service is also available exemplified by Khalil's team, Cristal is outstanding! Our experience was one of the best across that we've encountered in our past travels. Kudos to the team!

The bathroom products were beautiful too. We loved the fresh feel. The restaurants were diverse and tasty. We ate at the Lebanese and Italian restaurants in the evening and the food was good. The morning buffet was so extensive and delicious. Crystal at the breakfast buffet was very attentive and friendly. She helped us with everything we needed. Her English was easy to understand and she was not intrusive.

Multiple pools and the guys at the beach were very helpful. Everyone was very nice. We had a great time. It is not easy to find your way. The only thing I would suggest would be to add more signs to make it easier to get around. But that is the only thing to improve.

- Paradise03999699518 (2/5): Hilton Dead Sea-far below expectations! - At the entrance, we had to wait about 8–10 minutes while two cars in front of us were checked. After a long, exhausting drive, this was not a great start. At reception, my wife handled the check-in while I waited a few meters behind her. Instead of a greeting, a staff member bluntly told me to “move aside because they were expecting a group.” Not the welcome you expect from a 5-star Hilton. The room was quite ok: spacious,very comfortable. However, everything outside the room fell far below expectations. The pool area was extremely overcrowded — sunbeds packed closely together with almost no personal space. We were told other pools were “under maintenance,” which left us with no real alternative. At the beach, the setup was very basic and lacked any premium touch. The Dead Sea itself and the famous mud were excellent — but that’s thanks to nature, not the hotel. Dinner was another disappointment. Although the food was good, the constant noise from chairs and tables being dragged around by staff made it impossible to relax. On top of that, dishes were delivered at completely different times: my wife and I received our food, but our kids and friends waited more than 20 minutes. The restaurant manager apologized, and the kids got a complimentary dessert — which we appreciated. The next day continued with the same issues. A “fight” for sunbeds, and more flies than we have ever seen anywhere — impossible to enjoy the pool area. We moved to the empty sofas at the Lebanese restaurant to escape the flies, but were initially told we couldn’t sit there because it was closed. Only after speaking to a manager were we allowed to stay. We then tried to order the same wine we had enjoyed the night before, but were told it wasn’t available — even though it was in stock at other restaurants. Service was slow and staff attitude clearly showed a lack of motivation. We shared all these concerns with someone introduced as the hotel manager. We were calm, gave constructive feedback, and didn’t ask for anything in return. He apologized repeatedly and promised improvement. That night, service at dinner was finally excellent — thanks to two outstanding staff members (one from Bali and one from Jordan) who were professional and genuinely kind. Unfortunately, they were the exception. After a bill of 508 JOD, we were offered a complimentary shisha worth around 6–7 JOD. We refused — not because of the money, but because the gesture felt completely inadequate considering the overall experience. Even worse, around 23:15, after we were asleep, we received a phone call offering a bottle of wine. Who thinks that’s a good idea? During our trip in Jordan, we stayed at four places: a fantastic 5-star hotel in Aqaba, two nights in the desert with amazing hosts, and a lovely stay in Petra with one of the most helpful managers we’ve ever met. Hilton Dead Sea was, by far, the lowest point of our journey. We travel a lot and this is the first review I’ve ever written. I truly hope future guests will have a better stay, but we will not return. And from now on, we’ll be much more cautious with Hilton properties. Hilton, we have a problem.

Bring insect repellent as there is an abundance of flies due to the geographical location. It is currently having a lot of building work being done so is noisy.

- rvonhagt (10/5): Food at Hilton - Dead Sea - The dinner buffet here at Spectrum is one to not miss - the extensive range of food, the laid-back, contemporary ambience and the harmonious tunes that make the place feel more lively and natural. The staff Muhammad, Mika and Reham were extremely hospitable and friendly, helping us with anything we needed. Always make it a point to book the dinner at the time of reservation. After the experience in dead sea bath which includes the mud bath the dinner buffet is a cherry on top.

From the welcome from Amad on the front desk, to being shown to our room by Anis and then being looked after at breakfast by Crystal the service culture is the high standard I expect from Hilton. The breakfast has lots of choice options and the rooms are well appointed. We had a junior suite which I would recommend. The hotel looks very new and there was work going on to construct an infinity pool which will be a nice addition. The hotel arranged airport transfers and a trip to Petra both of which were excellent. We are Hilton gold members and our loyalty to the brand will continue after this holiday.

Pre-advised hotel of late check in, requesting they prepare roll away bed in advance of forecast 1am arrival after long flight and transfer. This request included in Hilton’s booking confirmation. Arrived around 1pm as forecast. Night manager tried to tell us we had to pay nearly £40 for additional bed for 15 y/o child booked in or he would not provide bed. Clearly wanted cash. I paid on cc to ensure I could challenge. Going through process now. Hotel is dated, poorly run, and clearly has significant staffing issues.

All of the servers were attentive and helpful by explaining each of the dishes we were experiencing; however, Moyed was particularly always at our table seemingly knowing that we needed clarification. While our menu was new to us, each dish was most flavorful.

There is a hoarding next to the pool behind which is the constant noise of machinery and diggers. Last night it was axel grinders. For 200jd a night guests cannot be expected to put up with this.

- EmanuelS_13 (10/5): A healing holiday at the Dead Sea - The location is so special here at the Dead Sea that it`s very difficult to find many negative aspects for your stay. The room, the meals, the beach conditions were all amazing and these were the most important things for us. All the employees did an amazing job. At the Spectrum restaurant Sabreen and Ouda took special care of all the dietary needs of my wife due to allergies and intolerances. Some times the chefs cooked special dishes for her substituting all the allergens with other permitted ingredients for her. The employees at the restaurant were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Reham. At the beach there are also very professional employees who took good care of us, especially Mishael. In the room we had most of the necessary things and when something was missing, mr. Sulimani took care of it right away. It would have been very appropriate a clothing dryer in the balcony for wet bathing suits. Unfortunately our room had a view towards the construction site of the pool and in some days there was an annoying noise, but as we stayed more time on the beach, we escaped the noise most of the time. The beach zone is extremely well structured and you can linger on a sunbed all day long... Everything is free on the beach: bottled water, towels, sunbeds, und of course the mud experience. There are also showers both near the beach and at the entrance of the beach area. You can also change your wet bathing suits if you want or need it. The hotel has also a medical cabinet and the medical assistant there was very helpful for my wife for some advice regarding allergies. All in all it was a healing and wellbeing holiday as you were used to at the Dead Sea.

Excellent, modern good sized rooms with a great pool/swim-up bar overlooking Dead Sea (as well as family pools) and excellent restaurants with very good breakfasts (Rahem, one of the ladies who worked at breakfast time was lovely and very efficient) and dinner (Nader, the manager, is excellent- there was a mix up with our order and he smoothed everything over very quickly and professionally). No doubts, this is an excellent hotel!
- 157hasanz (10/5): Great Hotel for relaxing but not kids - friendly - The hotel is very well located near Samara mall, it's modern with a very nice design. The reception staff are super friendly, and they do their best to ensure a smooth check in and an enjoyable stay. Rooms are spotless clean, all with balconies or terrace over looking the sea. They have many pools (one of which is closed for maintenance), the pools are beautifully designed, clean and the lifeguards are super friendly. But the pools design is not kids - friendly, they are designed for adults with many sharp edges and inside stairs. Kids (who can swim) can hardly find a suitable area to swim in (else than the kids pool which is for infants and very young kids). Pools are designed for relaxing rather than swimming. They have many restaurants and bars with a great selection of food and drinks, the staff is super friendly and helpful. What gives this hotel the 5 star rating is its beach, its clean, furnished with white clean sand and it has a great sitting area with a lot of shaded sunbeds. Beach staff are very professional and friendly, they offer a great help to guests enjoying the unique salty water of the Dead sea, they also help with applying the Dead sea mud and they have a tap of fresh water right on the beach to help guests washing the mud off their bodies and washing themselves after getting out of the sea. it's a great hotel but not kids- friendly. Recommended & good value for money.

Really spoiled our afternoon as we’re now sat in our room and it still sounds like we’re in Ibiza.

Bad experience happened Wednesday 17 September at 3-4pm. One of them was very nice but the other talked like he was fighting. No hello, no reason to get mad and talked bad to us. I don’t recommend just for that. I complained about it at the reception, but they weren’t caring about it.

- Danajr03 (6/5): Day pass with friends - I went with my friends to the Hilton Dead Sea for a day pass and I honestly was very disappointing, check in took forever and then we also had to wait for such a long time to get our bags even tho I told them multiple times that we needed them urgently, we also requested extra towels but never received them, my friend requested a blow dryer and it took them like 30 minutes to send it, it was also very crowded at the pool and one of the pools was closed for maintenance, couldve been wayyy better but I was disappointed honestly, the hotel is clean however and their staff are very friendly and nice

We were absolutely amazed by the level of hospitality of the staff and quality of service. Food was so delicious. I would like to express a sincere gratitude to all staff of the hotel, especially to Ms. Noor, Ms. Eden, Mr. Mazin and Mr. Ahmad Daasan. Special thanks to Mr. Wajdi at the travel desk and Mr. Hussein, who is a lifeguard at the beach. Definitely will come back again to this awesome place next year.

- yazang2019 (2/5): Worst 5-star hotel experience, don't believe other reviews!!!! - One of the worst 5-star hotel experiences I’ve ever had, definitely not worth $300 a night. Let me break it down: Dirty Bathroom & Poor Maintenance: The bathroom was in unacceptable condition -black mold around the shower box and sink-. This isn’t something that happens overnight, it’s a clear sign of long-term neglect. It shows that management doesn’t check the rooms after housekeeping, and frankly, they just don’t seem to care about hygiene or upkeep. Misleading Pool & Spa Facilities: The hotel was fully booked, but only one swimming pool was open — and even that was overcrowded (2 others for kids). The other big pool for adults was under maintenance, and the spa was closed (except for massages). None of this was mentioned during booking or check-in — not on Agoda or reception. Total lack of transparency. This place is definitely not family-friendly. They allow large groups of single men to book, it was literally 90% guys and 10% families and couples, my pregnant wife felt extremely uncomfortable swimming in a crowded pool full of mostly men it's very crowded and it looked like a pile of sardines, many of whom were smoking inside the pool area which is not safe for her nor our baby. It was so bad we had to wait until the last 30 minutes before closing just for her to get a bit of space. They even ran out of pool towels and asked us to wait. Again, showing they can't handle full capacity. No Security or Control: We stayed on the ground floor and were constantly woken up by drunk guys shouting and playing around outside our room at 3 AM. No security came to calm things down — it felt completely unmanaged. Terrible Food for the Price: Dinner was disappointing. Limited options, poor quality — even the pasta and rice tasted like cafeteria food. Dessert was just bad. Honestly, I’ve had way better food in 4-star hotels. Breakfast was the only thing that was somewhat acceptable. Outdated and Unsafe Facilities: The elevators going down to the beach are extremely old, making unsettling noises. They don’t feel safe at all — clearly overdue for maintenance. Completely Overpriced: This stay was worth maybe $100, definitely not $300. If you’re a family or a couple looking for a relaxing time — avoid this place. You won’t feel comfortable, especially around the pool area. You won't be able to wear what you want or enjoy your time — it's just not the environment for it. The main photo of this hotel, which shows the fountain pool, is completely misleading, that pool doesn’t even exist anymore, it's abandoned!!!!! The only good part, was the staff, especially Abdullah at reception — was kind and genuinely apologetic when I told him everything during checkout. But in the end, it wasn’t his fault, the problems here run much deeper.
