• Michael (10/5): - Good views from the residence, lovely bar area, great shuttle service.
• Fabiola (2/5): - It was our first time in Val Thorens and we were celebrating my husband's 35th birthday, we reserved this hotel expecting it to be amazing as it was 5 stars and not cheap at all. Usually at a 5v star hotel you have amazing customer service but in this case it was quite the opposite. Since it was nearly at the end of the season the hotel was greatly understaffed, the shuttles that were promised took forever to get to you or were always full. When talking to the staff about it they said that they were understaffed and rude. Val Thorens is quite walkable however since it was snowing most of the time we were there we had to freeze at night to walk back to the hotel after dinner. During our whole 10 day stay they changed our towels once, never cleaned and so we ended up even having to buy toilet paper ourselves because there was no one at the lobby ever. I understand it might've been the end of the season but that should not compromise the quality of your stay, if that's the service you will be giving then close the hotel completely. Definitely the worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at, we then stayed at Le Fitz Roy, also a 5 star hotel and it was INCREDIBLE - HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

• sarahlN6813ZH (10/5): A great family hotel in beautiful location - Excellent family location. Beautiful, well equipped apartment with a stunning view of the mountains. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Small issue with toilet which was fixed within the hour. My only slight complaint would be that for 2 bathrooms there was only one toilet and the lift servicing the whole residence was slightly slow. The hotel terrace was a lovely place to unwind after a day’s skiing and the pool was excellent and rarely busy. Ski in ski out did involve a walk upstairs through the hotel and the run was quite challenging for beginners but this is not the hotel’s fault and mostly due to the end of season conditions when we went. The hotel shuttle service was also brilliant Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
• gemmag856 (10/5): Great apartment - We enjoyed our stay in April. Good location for getting on and off the mountain, lovely staff who were friendly and helpful.
• nadsta2 (8/5): - The room was perfect for our needs (2 bedroom apartment with 3 guests). Hotel has everything you need. Great views out to the slopes & a lovely outdoor terrace with plenty of seating. You can ski straight out of the hotel. Ski passes & ski hire all available to hire from the hotel. We had drinks in the bar (service was great) but didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment. The only issue we had was the kitchen equipment being dirty. We had to wash everything before using it due to old food being on cutlery, crockery, glasses, cups, pots & pans. The ashtray on the balcony also hadn’t been emptied & was full of cigarette butts. We addressed this with reception & they sent someone to the room to sort the issue. Our stay was pleasant, staff were really friendly & helpful. We would stay here again, even with the kitchen issue. We’d just make sure we check everything as soon as we arrive, as this is left to the guests before they check out.
• Departure36715525079 (6/5): Poor value for money, below expectations - Positive: restaurants, pools Below expectations: > Residence ski room far from the slopes (you have to walk, carrying you ski material). > Odors in the room/ questionable cleaning, having asked throughout the stay to look into it, but without any action. > Residence services are generally poor (ski passes taken care at the hotel, but as reception only opens at 9am, on the first day we had to wait to head to the slopes). All in all, the offer is not according to the expected luxury and respective pricing.

• M3523PZgaryb (10/5): Can’t be beat - Great property, staff, shuttle service, pool and hot tub. Room had two bathrooms with a separate toilet (very European). The view was breathtaking. Very clean. Only negative was that there was only one hot tub and it was in the spa, which costs 35 euros to use. This is a must for after skiing! The hours could also be extended to say, 9 or 10 pm.

• FrankSwa (4/5): Apartment 2 Bedrooms Exclusive - We booked the Exclusive Apartment with 2 bedrooms. We expected more on the "Exclusive". The view from the apartment was not special. The description mentioned south or southwest view, but it was south south east (SSE). Moreover, the description mentions that the apartment has "separate toilets", but it turns out that the apartment had only 1 toilet. Initially we thought that we got the wrong apartment, but the front desk confirmed that we really got the "Exclusive" apartment. Not sure what is really exclusive on this apartment compared to "Privilege". We took the breakfast from the hotel and this was excellent.
• larskelch (10/5): Very good hotel with in excellence landscape and short ways to the piste. - I can strongly recommend this hotel. We travelled as family (4) to Kohinor and all of us had a great time during the stay. It is not cheap but your money worth.

• 732af1982 (10/5): Great place for a family holiday - ski in ski out, access to the hotel and lovely well kept apartments - We’ve just left after a week in the Koh I Nor Residences as a family of 4. This is our third time in Val Thorens and first time staying here (have done hotels previously) and would recommend. Will return. The apartments worked really well with our kids - great being able to do breakfast and some dinners there. Just a bit more chilled for us than a hotel. Great having access to the hotel - bar, restaurants, swimming pool and the ski in ski out was great. Shout out to the ski room shop team who were great. When we arrived late because of traffic they were closed but reopened to sort us out with gear. Was hugely appreciated! Shuttle bus around town worked great - service was excellent and always prompt. We usually got it back after ski school in the evenings as the run down is a bit tricky for our 5 year old and they were always on time and really friendly. Only slight negatives are the pool in the hotel could do with being a bit warmer - was freezing some days! And the lift in the residence was broken the week we were there which was a bit of a pain - but could access via the hotel so not the end of the world. Apartments well appointed but only one toilet and the requirement to do quite a bit of clean up at the end (no cleaning kit provided), empty bins etc was a bit of a pain considering the price point. Special thank you to the hotel front desk staff who helped us to find a shuttle to the airport when ours didn’t turn up. They were really great and very attentive and professional! Overall would recommend and would return.

• Angela (10/5): Fantastic! - I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. We were looked after extremely well, and the room, facilities, and pastry deliveries were all first class. Highly recommended!
• Anabel (8/5): - The free shuttle car was a added bonus to our stay, we did not eat any of the restaurants as we run out of time, we did have a few drinks on the terrace which was stunning, and the views were priceless. We stayed in the Residence, therefore did not have access to the main spa without paying which was really expensive just to use the jacuzzi and a few other items. Also we did not have dressing gowns or towels for the small swimming pool which we could access, therefore had to use our bath towels.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location, easy ski in ski out, 3mins wall to at least 5 bars for apres, at least 2 having live music each night. Similar walk to other restaurants. Reception staff very helpful. Appartment was lovely Took robes 3 days to arrive, please get more robes. Swimming pool cool temperature, great for swimming but not for relaxing, especially as there is not a hot tub, only a sauna. Definitely worth taking snow socks if you don’t have winter tyres.

Very helpful front desk and staff. The taxi service was excellent and quick, always happy to help. The pool was slightly cold in the evenings after coming in from a cold day skiing but the sauna was great
• Seng K (8/5): Almost good.... - Although marketed as 2 bedroom for 4 adults as 5* with free wifi, it was felt wanting in a number of ways. Main prime reasons was that the wifi was very poor and logins was inconsistent. If connection was dropped after a period, ability to relogin was frustratingly inconsistent (even if all other devices were removed). Not clearly stating how many concurrent devices could be supported for best experience. Experience was random and ad-hoc. Speeds was slow and could be improved too. Ensuite did not have its own toilet, which is annoying. Lounge sofa area did not have adequate seating for 4 adults. Kitchen sink was smelly too... Accessibility for ski-to-door was a bit awkward....having to walk up/down a flight of stairs and through a ski-shop to get access to the slopes, or return at the end of the day.
