• Saskia (10/5): - Simple and clean rooms, great location away from the buzz of the centre but only a 5 minute walk to everything. We loved the roof top terrace and spend quite a bit of time relaxing in the hammocks and enjoying the view. They have a small kitchenette on the terrace, top. The staff was super helpful and wonderful. We would definitely come back.

• Elna (9/5): Great value for money - super tasteful and quiet - The beds were huge and super comfy. Although there was no airco, our room on the first floor had a lovely ceiling fan that kept us cool and happy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, just be aware that they don’t speak a lot of English. Oh and the roof terrace was just amazing. There was no hot water. In all fairness, we also didn’t let them know so maybe it could have been fixed. We didn’t mind much.

• Victoria (10/5): A lovely base for exploring Oaxaca! - The room was excellent with lots of space and comfortable beds. It was very clean, and there is a lovely roof terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in a great location, slightly out of the centre so it was quiet but with lots of food places nearby and only 5-7mins walk to Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán area, and 15mins to Zócalo de la Ciudad de Oaxaca. Nothing. It was a really nice hotel and we loved staying there!

• Su (7/5): Good location & value for money, lovely cafes nearby - Good location, good size beds, nice rooftop patio to sit on. Lack of hot water for shower was fixed immediately. We thought we were getting a room with a window onto the small courtyard but my friend had a window over and mine was patterned glass onto the street. No air con (they provide fans - I should have checked this). Just be aware the reception staff don’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish.

• Gaelle (10/5): Havre de paix à Oaxaca - L'hotel est un petit havre de paix situé à quelques rues de la foule touristique tout en restant à proximité de tout. Les chambres sont d'une propreté impeccable, calmes et très agréables. Le personnel est adorable, des superbes excursions sont proposées par l'hôtel, et en bonus une terrasse sur le toit avec tables, chaises et hamac offrent une vue paisible sur le centre ville. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous et reviendrons avec plaisir au Sueño Valle de Huajes
• Barry (8/5): Some couples might prefer more luxury, for me it was a very good choice - The courtyard is pretty and rooftop terraza with a fine view over the town was good. Staff are super nice. Location is great. All good. Caveats: A ceiling fan would be nice -- times are changing and the room could be stuffy. (There is a standard fan.) The bedside lamp was an office desklamp -- a bit tacky, guys. But overall, I was comfortable and happy and -- it's Oaxaca!
• Caroline (10/5): Super séjour! On reviendra sans hésitation. - L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la ville et permet d’éviter les inconvénients du centre. Il y a beaucoup de cafés et de restaurants autour de l’hôtel et un marché. L’édifice en lui même est très beau et accueillant avec un patio et une terrasse avec un très belle vue sur la ville. La chambre (qui donnait sur la terrasse) était très confortable et grande. Les services proposés par l’hôtel (laverie entre autres) très pratiques. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. RAS
• Miriam (10/5): Como en casa - Zonas comunes con una terraza en la azotea súper agradable, limpieza, amabilidad de la recepción, cama muy cómoda Que no haya café de cortesía, tienen unas máquinas pero hay que pagar las cápsulas. Ya que no hay en las habitaciones máquina, como en muchos otros hoteles, el de la máquina común considero que debería estar incluido en el precio. Las habitaciones están repartidas en plantas sin ascensor, a tener en cuenta por personas con movilidad reducida.

• Ted (5/5): Overnight stay in small room with nice bed. - Hot shower. firm bed. roof terrace had amazing view around city. they set up taxi for us in the morning. tucked into cool lowkey neighborhood. Loud drunks in central patio area allowed to have loud drunk revelry 1030pm until almost 1 am with desk people right there made for a rough start of night sleep with a early wakeup call. ventilation in room was not great in room less than the size of another bed.
• Jason (6/5): Nice stay but pretty basic and noisy - Hotel is in a good location a short (5-10min) walk from the main tourist areas. Rooftop patio is nice. Staff friendly. Facilities basic but were fine. Provided bottled water each day and theres a fridge you can buy alcohol and soft drinks from reception. Noise is the big issue for this hotel. The doors and windows have zero sound proofing and the courtyard design of the building means noise from reception etc is magnified. Not one for light sleepers! No security box in room which is always a pain.

L’équipe adorable, disponible et réactive pour la moindre chose , la propreté , la chambre sur le Roof top avec hamacs et coin salon avec tables pour prendre le petit déjeuner avec une superbe vue sur Oaxaca , le calme . Le quartier est super agréable , très tranquille avec petit marché , restaurant délicieux à l’angle de la rue , chez Rito pour boire le meilleur chocolat chaud de ma vie ( en face du marché ) , on se sent chez soi et le tout à quelques minutes à pied du centre . Just 15min by foot from the main square! It's missing a hairdryer and maybe a small fridge. But overall we all were very happy!

Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Een goeie overdekte markt, een mooie binnenplaats. We hadden geluidsoverlast van schuivende stoelen op het dakterras boven ons hoofd. neem goeie oordoppen mee!

• Constanze (10/5): Perfekter Chill Spot für einen City Trip! - Ganz tolle Dachterasse mit Hängematten und fantastischem Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang! Top Lage - Zentrum, Künstlerviertel und ADO Bus Centro fußläufig zu erreichen. Leckerer Mezcal an der Hausbar. Morgens war es im Innenhof laut, ansonsten alles toll.

Zimmer mit sehr großem Bett und guter Ausstattung. Zimmer sind nicht besonders schön, aber geräumig und haben alle notwendigen Ausstattungsmerkmale.

Petit marché local à juste 5mn pour y déguster de savoureux jus de fruits. C'est simple mais efficace et propre. La terrasse est super sympa pour s'y reposer et prendre le p'tit déj. Personnel sympa et arrangeant, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le jour du départ jusqu'au soir. Je recommande cette casa

• Laura (7/5): - Es war sehr sauber. Die Dachterasse war ein schöner Ort zum entspannen. Großes gemütliches Bett. Guter Wäscheservice. Ich glaube wir hatten etwas Pech mit unserem Zimmer. Das Fenster im Schlafzimmer war zum Treppenhaus hin, ohne Gitter oder Insektennetz. Wir haben also die Schlafzimmertür aufgelassen zum Vorzimmer/ Flur hin da war ein Fenster zum Innenhof mit Insektennetz. Das war dann aber sehr hell weil die Tür nach draußen Milchglas hatte. Kaffee gab es nur gegen Bezahlung. Preis-Leistung war aus diesen Gründen für mich nicht stimmig.

• Shayna (10/5): Awesome! - Prime location! Comfy pillows, good shower, good wifi, stunning rooftop. We stayed in a few diff places in Oaxaca and this was the winner! Aaaand they have beer on site if ya want a little rooftop treat one day. I would recommend this place for sure, great value

• JEANETTE (10/5): Oaxaca practico , lindo y relajado! - Una opcion preciosa cerca de todo! El hotel es comodo y tiene todo lo básico para una agradable estancia. Habitaciones comodas y practicas , la del Roof tiene una vista preciosa al amanecer el Roof es un lugar de area comun donde puede tomar un cafe y pasar un rato agradable. Cerca hay restaurantes y lugares muy lindos , el centro no esta nada lejos! caminando 10 min estas en Santo Domingo Cerca de todos los puntos turisticos importantes y de facil acceso. Sin duda es una excelente opcion para visitar Oaxaca! el personal amable y relajado ! Todo nos encantó! recomendadisimo!!!!! Relacion , precio calidad insuperable! Ojala y pusieran por solicitud cafeteras en las habitaciones! eso si estaria de lujo!!!

• Nimbe (7/5): Me gustó, sí volvería. - El estilo del hotel, es bonito, muy agradable y ad-hoc al lugar. Wendy (recepción) fue muy amable, una persona muy agradable, cordial y solícita. Regresaría, pero ciertamente hay un par de áreas de oportunidad. Las toallas del hotel, y un par de fundas, parecían sucias. La limpieza en general era muy buena, pero el detalle de los blancos es fundamental en un hotel.

• Evelien (9/5): Great stay - Great place to stay in terms of price-quality. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean, but everything is very basic/functional. Perfect for what we were looking for and the rooftop was a great place to hang out for an hour or so. Drinks available for sale in the fridge next to the reception are another nice benefit. Location is a little bit further out of the center, not an issue at all during daytime (10mins walk). At night the last 3 blocks walking from the center were a bit more quiet, still doable/comfortable for us to walk as a couple or you take a taxi from the center for a couple of euro's. Also a nice restaurant option available around the corner at the end of the street if you dont want to go far.
