Suits are spacious and have sufficient amenities nearby.The best part was the balcony, I spent most of my time there while enjoying the nature and fresh air. It would be great if they could have added some shower accessories (shampoo, body wash etc.). Also, they had coffee machine but no coffees were provided other than that the stay was great.

Karen (10/5): Wonderful long weekend at Chalets Montmorency, Mont Sainte Anne - We love the location, it’s very close to the Basilica. The rooms have been renovated since the last time we stayed there, so that was a pleasant surprise. My husband loves the pool and hot tub, so he was very very happy. I love having a full kitchen and cooked some great meals for us. Everything was great, the bed was a little too firm for me….. but that is just a personal preference of mine.

Simon (10/5): Excellent stay - Every year we drive from Ontario to the Maritimes during the summer for two weeks, typically we plan our overnight stay along Autoroute 20 near Levis or sometimes in Sainte-Foy. This time on our way back to Ontario, we decided to stay for an extra day and find accommodations outside of the city. It was a pleasant surprise staying at Chalets Montmorency Mont-Sainte-Anne. The location was near a number of sights we wanted to visit such as Chute Larose, Canyon Sainte-Anne and Beaupre. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious. There is an indoor pool and hot tub along with BBQ for use. We will definitely come back next time if opportunity arises.
maude (8/5): Pratique mais cher. - C’était spacieux et assez proche du Mont Sainte-Anne. Assez bien équipé aussi. On entend très bien les voisins en haut, c’est dommage. Des coussinets sous les pattes de chaises pourraient aider et aviser que les gens aux étages inférieurs entendent tout. Il a fallu demander à la réception pour avoir un séchoir. Mais sinon, tout était bien. Quand même cher je trouve. Ça a coûté 90$ avoir un départ tardif, en plus d’avoir payé plus de 350$/nuit.

Bruno (10/5): Chalet Montmorency - Nous avons aimé l'accueil, la taille du logement, les équipements même communs (piscine, spa, laver linge et sécheuse, barbecue, etc...). Des ustensiles pour le barbecue seraient utiles.
Sandra (2/5): - Les photos sont trompeuses. Les appartements sont très vétustes. La climatisation marchait mal. Le ventilateur faisait un bruit infernal pour ne rien brasser. Le lave vaisselle faisait un bruit terrible. Sinon, personnel sympathique et compétent mais il fallait réserver pour accéder à la piscine délabrée, des créneaux de 1h. On n’a pu y aller qu’une fois en 4 jours. Bref, je trouve le rapport qualité prix très mauvais.

The kitchen could be a little more updated. The pool could stay open a little longer or start earlier as we were sightseeing all day and didn't have enough time to enjoy it and relax in the hot tub.

Really good boulangeries and burgers around with outstanding microbrasseries with local beers. Location is great- in front of the mountain. Underground parking. Excellent euro windows - it's really quiet in the apartment. AC, TV with channels, mini-kitchen. Shower could be better. Had an issue with the bed sheets, but it was quickly fixed by staff. Underground parking spot is very tight.

Renata (7/5): Good - The apt was nice and clean and kitchen was well equipped. There was some confusion with the check in. We checked in online and were sent a confirmation email with the wrong apt number . By the time we arrived, there was someone in the apt we were given. Because it was late ( and after office hours - which was known therefore the online check in), there was no one in the office and the emergency contacts given took a while to answer. We were waiting outside for at least one hour before the confusion was sorted and an apt assigned to us.

Feridun (10/5): It was a lovely experience, and we would definitely come back! - We had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Chalets Montmorency Mont-Sainte-Anne. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, especially by a lovely woman at the reception who was incredibly helpful and cheerful. Her positive attitude made us feel instantly comfortable and set the tone for a great stay. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained. Since we visited during the off-peak season, the pool area was completely empty—there was no one else except us! It felt like our own private pool. Our child had an amazing time swimming and enjoying the jacuzzi, which was a big highlight of the trip The only thing missing was firewood in the room. We expected it to be provided, so we had to go out and buy some from a grocery store.

Tatjana (1/5): Ask not what a hotel can do for you but what you can do for a hotel - It had lovely view and all noted equipment It was not possible to breath normally as the room was musty with bolted windows; a fan was on moving musty hot air around with no ventilation. I called for help to open window or pay for a room with a balcony. At 8pm nobody responded. There was no place to buy food and nearby Delta had no rooms available. After trying for an hour with door to hallway open I managed to open a single window that was not hermetically closed. It took 3 hours for fresh air to finally dispel the smell. I spent half of the night in the car. In the morning I got a message from reception that they need my credit card number although the hotel was already paid non refundable!? Not sure why? Truth indeed breathable air was not listed in room description. It is typically assumed as one can hardly use space without it. The site had lots of empty rooms but unfortunately the reception is 1.5km away from the property and a very kind person on site who is receptionist for the facility could not do much. Apparently each room in the building is rented differently. Very complicated system and with lack of workforce in the area one has to come by 7pm if one wants to have any assistance as reception closes at 8pm while check in is after 4pm. Finally pool and spa are few km away and one can enter only with “reservation”.

They have swiss-style chalets on the main property but we were a few blocks away on a suburban streeet next to the main road. The basement bathroom was cramped but otherwise, no complaints.It was a good value compared with the price of accommodation in Quebec City.

Melanie (10/5): Adorable place - Our stay here was great, our room was clean and cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked. Location is within 30 min of both quebec city and le massif. I would highly recommend and will stay here again. One of our issues was that no paper towel or napkins were provided, which wouldn't have been a big deal if we had just been told that so we could've been prepared. The other issue is you still have to book your pool time, which is a huge disappointment. We were there 3 nights and weren't able to use the pool or hot tub because of the limited reservations.

Megan (8/5): Lovely stay close to mont saint anne for skiing - Very close to mont saint anne for skiing, lots of snow, beautiful area. The apartment was spacious and clean, lovely to have the fireplace and a dishwasher. Made some nice meals. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Bed was comfortable. It was quiet at night. Staff was very nice. There is a small grocery store within walking distance. There are lovely hiking trails right by the apartment. Recommend host add paper towel to the room as well as some tea bags. A couple of rugs in the apartment would be nice but perhaps they were not present due to the apartment being pet friendly.

The rooms are big, clean, the apartment layout is nice and includes all the facilities you need. Did not have time to check the pool. I liked the place but needs more and better maintenance, has a great potential. The place is outdated and needs fixings: bathrooms, doors, windows. The kitchen ustensils are old and not functional, the cookware not useable, the outdoor chairs must go. The garbage bins are the first to welcome you - not a nice view or feeling.

We were in room 110 which despite the 2 flights of stairs, one external, one internal, we we battled with our 3 suitcases, there was so much room! Separate bed, bath, and big kitchen lounge space, with a second bed and balcony, this would be ideal for 2 couples or a small group of friends. The ideal base for hiking, snowboarding or in our case, for the Quebec Ultra Trail Marathon. Really appreciated the onsite laundry and dryer and that the hot tub and pool had to be reserved to prevent crowding. The main bed was a super king with a really lovely firm mattress, making for a good night’s sleep. This is a really good alternative to the moser expensive chalets in the area, I would not hesitate to stay here again in any season. Free onsite parking too!! The stairs felt problematic at times given we were coming and going a lot to support the Ultra marathon and had a lot of luggage, however given nearly every guest was there for the same reason it didn’t seem to be too disruptive. There is one air con unit in the main living area so we kept the bedroom door open during the evening, however there was a desk fan which was a good addition if the door needed to be closed for any reason.

Kenneth (9/5): Fall excursion - Staff is always friendly and rooms are always clean. Would want to know ahead of time that the studio was located away from the main campus. We stayed in the past and always enjoyed the facilities at the central location.
james (6/5): - Pros; Staff was friendly and helpful Common areas in good condition well maintained View of the mountain from our unit Cons; Our unit was in need of an upgrade, carpet was stained and ragged mattress was lumpy shower fixtures not working properly towels were the roughest/scratchiest I've ever encountered no soap or shampoo, as always we brought our own but still shower curtain old stained no directions for operating the tv and dvd players, figured out the tv but not dvd (we brought videos we wanted to watch) this might sound ridiculous but the fold out couch was of a design that neither my wife or I could figure out (I am very mechanically adept) and again there were no directions. This was annoying because of the lumpy bed. Fortunately my wife found that the middle of the bed was acceptable for her and I slept on the unfolded out couch. If not for the spectacular setting (we hit peak fall color on the nose) I would have to say we might have done just as well at one of the many motels along the main road at half the price. The view every morning of the mountain being lit up in glorious fall colors by the rising sun saved the day.

Jeffery (6/5): - I am torn on this review so let me explain. I reserved the Chalet Ski and Ski Out studio for 2 people which isn’t located at the actual Chalet Montmorency, its the buildings at the slope. The staff at the actual chalet site were great and that area looks like an old throw back European mountain village but they only have rooms for 6 up to 16 I think. The pool, bbqs, and everything else is there….that’s where you should stay if you have enough people because the village condos are junk, i am assuming that Montmorency are managing those as rental units that are owned privately…Unit 1307 is a complete dump and run down, don’t stay there…everything is damaged and broken…plus the village there is horrible, the most boring and empty dump of a ski village I have ever seen…no pubs, bars, restaurants or anything to do, I wouldn’t even ever recommend Mont Sainte Anne to anyone except the mountain bike trials are amazing… My recommendation is stay in Quebec City and drive there to ride or ski, the village is garbage… So, YES I’d recommend the Chalets at their site NOT the village….It’s too bad their names are attached to the village condo units because a bad reviews may not reflect how nice their actual property is…
