Sven (10/5): Most beautiful Hotel I ever stayed at - This was by far the most beautiful hotel I stayed at during my trip. Everything about this place is simply perfect – an absolute dream. The staff is exceptionally friendly, highly professional, and incredibly attentive. They anticipate your needs before you even express them, making you feel truly cared for throughout your stay. The hotel itself is unique. The interior design is stunning, with beautiful art details that create a special atmosphere, while the outdoor area is just as impressive – perfectly maintained and incredibly relaxing. It’s the ideal place to completely unwind and let your mind rest. The breakfast is equally outstanding, offering high quality and a great variety. I would return here anytime without hesitation.
Stefanie (10/5): Juwel in der Natur - Wow, wow, woooooow. Ich weiß gar nicht wo anfangen. Es war einer der schönsten Aufenthalte und, wenn ich das im Voraus gewusst hätte, dann wäre ich definitiv länger geblieben. Es passt einfach das Gesamtpaket. Angekommen kommt man gar nicht mehr aus dem Staunen raus, der Ausblick, das tolle Interieur, der Service... Es war perfekt. Das Frühstück ist auch der Wahnsinn, alles super frisch für einen zubereitet, bei bestem Ausblick, ruhig, ... Anscheinend wird die Anlage erweitert, ich hoffe, dass sie damit nicht ihren Charm verliert, denn es war ein ganz tolles Erlebnis. Vielen Dank auch an Avine, der für uns zuständig war und der einen super Job gemacht hat.

Nadine (10/5): Ein Aufenthalt - Ehrlich gesagt weiß man nicht wo man anfangen soll. So ein tolles Team, alle waren so aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Tamodi hat mein Herz gewonnen. Wir hatten das Detached Nature Cottage. Eine 75 qm große Villa. Uns hat es die Sprache verschlagen. Die Aussicht, die Ausstattung (Ankleidezimmer, Dusche offen mit wahnsinns Ausblick, die Wanne, einfach auch jedes kleinste Detail). Man findet hier absolute Ruhe. Wir hatten am ersten Abend auf Anfrage ein privates Dinner. Auch hier kann ich nur eine 10/10 vergeben. Wir durften uns zum Dinner von dem Lodgemanager eine Flasche Wein aus dem eigenen Weinkeller aussuchen. Wir möchten uns für diesen einmaligen Aufenthalt bedanken. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Nichts

Oliver (10/5): I would book again and again. - The location is beautiful and only a 15 min drive from Plettenberg Bay. The honeymoon suite is an incredible room and has its own balcony with a view. You can relax and enjoy being on holiday. All the staff at Tamodi cannot do enough for you. Everything is done with high class service. I’m so very grateful for this as it feels like anything you ask is not a problem. And the breakfast is delicious!

Kat (10/5): Luxury accommodation with breathtaking views - Tamodi Lodge is next-level accommodation! The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of the lush green hills of Plettenberg Bay. We were especially impressed by the wine cellar, where we could help ourselves to an amazing selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was an absolute dream—not just because of the delicious food and coffee, but also the incredible service and stunning view. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, always happy to offer great advice to make your stay even better. One of these advices was going to Enrico's for dinner which now we also recommend. Their grilled prawns with lemon butter were to die for, and we saw dolphins. It was a scond time we stayed at Tamodi Lodge (last time 10 years ago) and we would love to come back again! nothing!

Myy (10/5): If only we could have stayed longer! - Tamodi Lodge was a great base base for exploring the Garden route - it is close to Tsitsikamma, Nature's valley and Robberg nature reserve. The room was very comfortable and the view from our suite was incredible! There is a wine cellar at the hotel so go and grab yourself a wine and light up the fire place in you room for a cozy evening. The service was impeccable and we felt very much at home. Our only regret was that our booking (3 nights) was too short!

Stephen (10/5): - The property is like stepping into a luxurious game lodge from a bygone age yet you’re only 15 minutes from the town of Plettenberg and about 5 minutes to a wonderful stretch of beach just down the hill. However the facility itself is nearly new so it features all the modern conveniences to be had. Architects and interior designers will be fascinated by the attention to detail that went into the construction of this lodge. The grounds are extensive and include a horse stable and several paths, providing plenty of opportunity to take in some casual exercise in a wonderful secluded environment. The proprietors and staff were incredibly warm and friendly and the advice given made sure we got the most out of our 2 days there. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Crags.

Trecy (9/5): A break from the 9 to 5! - A little slice of heaven is how I'd describe Tamodi. People from big cities sometimes just want to get away from it all and just relax, this is a great place for that. The view is breathtaking and waking up to that every morning is beyond amazing. The chalet I was in was huge with modern amenities and it was just picture perfect. Everything you could ever need was available including a wine cellar! The beach is a short drive away and there are good restaurants nearby. Lynne and Owen were great hosts and their staff are very friendly! As a solo traveler, I felt safe the entire time but it would be nice to know that there is some form of patrol of some sort on such a huge property or added security just to be that bit extra comfortable. Maybe I'm just used to how unsafe bigger cities like Jo'burg are but having security visible is a big necessity for me. Maybe this is available and I'm just not aware of it!

Andi (10/5): - Schon beim Ankommen waren wir beeindruckt von dem tollen Haus und dem unglaublichen Blick über das Tal, den wir auch von unserm Zimmer aus genießen durften. Ein Ort, an dem man von der ersten Sekunde an sofort völlig entspannt. Dazu tragen natürlich auch die Mitarbeiter bei, die einen rundum und sehr aufmerksam umsorgen. Auch das Frühstück war einfach nur super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Dazu gab es auch ein Kaminzimmer, welches für diesen Raum zur Verfügung stand. Besitzer und Personal sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden auch wieder kommen.

Karen (10/5): - The Johnston family has created a fabulous, stylish lodge in a beautiful location; the views from Tamodi are literally breathtaking, overlooking the valley and distant mountain range. This is a very special property and we really enjoyed our stay here. Waking to the sound of birdsong and then experiencing a Tamodi breakfast makes a truly luxurious start to the day - the breakfasts are fabulous! It was a wonderful treat to stay in the honeymoon suite and the outdoor shower is to be recommended..... Big thanks to Chelsea, Nathanial and the rest of the team for looking after us so well - we hope to visit again.
