- Brad (8/5): - Beautiful property with amazing views. Breakfast is excellent with many choices and great quality. Amenities are very good with good gym, ice bath, sauna and 3 pools. Property however needs more maintenance and upkeep as many things are tired or need attention. Housekeeping also needs to lift their game as major items of cleanliness and maintenance get overlooked. Great overall experience that could be even better with some good leadership and money spent.

Great lounging by the pool and getting drinks/food at The Deck and the neighbouring Thai restaurant š. The included breakfast every morning was absolutely fantastic. I booked 2 nights in adjoining one bedroom villas with friends/family, and I loved it so much that I decided to stay on for 2 more nights!

Great service good value, staff are very attentive with the buggies to get up the hill- we had 2 x 70 year olds with us on a 3 generation holiday. Great location to walk into town or the other way to Lago beach to swim out to the pontoon or go to the swanky spa next door. Restaurant recommendations Curry Traders, la Bianca and nyomans warring- reception can boom
- Belinda (10/5): - The villas are just lovely - roomy and with a decent balcony for enjoying the view. The choice of 3 pools is great. We preferred the top 2 pools that were more private than the one next to the restaurant.
- Vickie (10/5): - The resort is amazing. Situated on a hill, overlooking the turquoise bay, but they have buggy service to help you around if needed. The service is impeccable. The food is also amazing. We were able to check in a little early. They help with everything you want or need and make suggestions for things to do etc. Suggest booking Spa early if you desire (but they were able to squeeze us in). There is a Spa next door, same situation, very busy. Communication prior to check in was amazing. There is a ferry that lands right in front, so check it out if coming from Sanur. The hotel will offer to help book also. We came from NP so it we arranged independently. I wish we had stayed longer. I really want to say this was my favorite place in all of Bali. Yes. That good. Kudos to the Chef and all the staff. Thank you so much.

The room tastefully decorated with outdoor shower and bath. The staff are second to none and always greet with a smile. Quick and easy to the good food spots and all around that end of the island. If you want to be close to restaurants and beach clubs but escape to a calm oasis afterwards, this is the place to stay.
- Nicholas (10/5): - The hotel is in a convenient location on Nusa Lembongan, with views across the bay. It has 3 good pools, 2 great restaurant with a good selection of food, a fantastic whiskey bar as well as a regular bar. The breakfasts are made to order and had some of the best selections of food I have come across in an hotel. The spa is excellent with well trained staff. The room was spacious with a balcony with a view of the sea, but sheltered (for watching thunderstorms!) and best of all the staff couldnt do enough for you. One of the best stays I have had in Bali.

Morning complimentary breakfast was great, except when you want to ask for 2nd cup of coffee, they charge you; 2. In general they were eager to charge you. For example, I just want hotel bottled still water, but they asked me if I want bubbling water or more expensive bottle water.

- Ruth (8/5): - This property is nice but needs updating. The rustic feel would work better if the blinds worked and it felt more private and one could get quality sleep. The construction going on around the property made my sleep difficult. You can hear all the noises even with ear plugs. They were nice to move my room to get further away from the construction but I still heard the incessant hammering. I had Bali belly so I needed naps during the day. That didnāt work so well. The views are gorgeous and the island is great for all ocean activities. The water is a perfect temperature. The hotel staff was very nice. I canāt comment on the food because I wasnāt feeling like eating much.
- peter (10/5): - We had two different rooms over three nights. They gavebus a free upgrade due to an issue with smoke in the area not caused by the hotel. Both rooms were lavish with plunge pools. Excellent showers and beds with amazing views of the aqua blue waters and surf. The food was very good at sll meals and all the staff we happy and smiling.
- Morag (4/5): - A great position but service isn't really up to scratch. Routine requests were made unnecessarily difficult. For example, when I called desk to ask for milk and teabags housekeeping failed to restock that day, instead of just sending the items up, a staff member came to room to "inspect" minibar and said this was my fault for displaying "do not disturb" sign, which was rubbish as they'd cleaned and made the bed just fine earlier. Then required a visit from a 2nd staff member to get the milk as the first guy came empty handed and only seemed interested in starting an argument. I wouldn't return.

- Thomas (8/5): - Postcard-worthy views of ocean and Mt Agung! Fabulous staff, lovely, clean, comfortable rooms. Resort is situated on a very steep incline, be aware if you have any mobility issues; however, they provide a golf cart to pick you up when needed. Our first room had an outdoor bathroom with the toilet, shower and tub perched on a ledge a little higher than 12". This required a large step down which was problematic when slippery from the shower or if you used the toilet in the night. Seemed to be an accident waiting to happen. Front desk was very responsive and immediately moved us to another (actually much nicer) room. Not sure how many rooms had similar bathroom configuration, but our new room was perfect, all on same level. Has a quirky non-Tiki bar that is focused on Scotch. Nice alternative to the tropical theme everywhere. Beautiful sunset view from eating area around the pool and food was quite good. No problem with insects while there. Great location near end of Jungubatu Beach. Highly recommend!

Room was large, clean & the outside bathroom is gorgeous. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was included and you could choose 2 items & drinks off the menu which was great value.

- Martin (10/5): Beautiful resort with stunning views - Batu Karang is a beautiful resort that exceeded my expectations and allowed for a very relaxing stay. The staff are all extremely friendly. The location is stunning with views over Jungbutbatu beach which is only a short stroll away, and crystal clear turquoise waters. The resort is on a steep hill but staff whizz you around on golf buggies. Our room with a plunge pool was lovely and had similarly stunning views although was frustratingly next to a large building site. The interior was luxurious and very nicely designed and the bed very comfy. The only small cons would be one small bin per room based in the bathroom, limited breakfast drink options - only one tea, coffee or juice included, and minimal furniture on the larger decking area. But these are very small cons. Overall we loved our stay here and would love to come back in future.

The chefs made the most delicious food, and from our room we looked down at the hydroponic crops below. We loved the vines growing over our balcony roof, providing a cool retreat. We absolutely love the Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa.

The a la carte breakfast was beautiful and we enjoyed eating at The Deck and having a drink at the Howff bar on the water. The views here can not be beaten plus we could walk to a lot of nearby restaurants.

(Iāll let you put that together) and we had a cockroach issue that become annoying. Breakfast menu is small and they keep trying to find ways to charge you extra for everything. Food is the most expensive in Bali and it felt like we were there as wallets and not customers.

Don't stay here off you have accessibility needs, lots of stairs and hills. It's a 10 minute walk from the beach, don't bother with transporation. However, I had a massive problem before checking in. The hotel didn't receive my Expedia benefits status so I contacted them for early check in and late check out. They denied my request. I contacted expedia who called and emailed the hotel 5 times confirming my benefits. The hotel continued to deny me and were very rude is their communication to both me and expedia. Very poor experience.
- Nerrida (8/5): - The property is one of the best on the island. It is now aging, reasonably expensive and I noticed the occupancy rate was well down. The food is excellent but expensive. The site is most beautiful on a very steep slope above the water. Golf carts are used to transport up and down the hill on a very steep, long gradation. This can be inconvenient although a cart and driver is always available.
- FABIO (8/5): - The place is beautiful, well situated with good dining options (NO ROOM SERVICE) and spectacular views. This IS NOT AN EXPEDIA VIP property as NO ONE in the hotel wasn't even aware of what that is, never mind honouring the benefits. The staff always greet you with a smile even when they have no idea of what you saying as some of them clearly speak very little English. Nevertheless, despite these hiccups, it is a very pleasant hotel and most likely I will be coming back.

Only complaint was late breakfast (7:30am) so we were not able to eat before excursions. The kindly offered that we could grab some fruit the night before and store it in our fridge but we missed that as well as kitchen closes at 9pm.

The pool near the beach closes at 4pm, and even the other one closed at 6pm which seemed odd for Asia. The other pool was up so many steps it was really hard to get to. All this would put me off going back. Island wise I didnāt think it was that amazing pretty average.

- James (8/5): - This is a beautiful property with amazing rooms, views, and amenities. The walkable access to other nearby sites and restaurants was great. Loved the variety of restaurant options within the hotel. My only complaints would be that the pools close early. Also, the staff are lovely and very nice, but service seemed to occur at a slower pace than other stays we have enjoyed in Bali. I think it was more of an issue of the hotel system and not an issue with the actual staff who were all lovely.

- Kurtis (8/5): - Lovely place and amazing staff. Lots of things are under maintance which is unfortunate (sauna, some areas). STAFF ARE AMAZING GOOD VIBES AND POSITIVE. I feel bad they need more staff (seems too busy for them). Overall location is amazing. I noticed there were 5 different pieces of bedding and towels that had makeup, stains that werenāt changed (didnāt feel as clean). Iād give this place another chance tho. Also this place isnāt wheelchair friendly (fyi) its very steep (maybe not the best for older demographic)

- Gregory (8/5): - We had an adventure getting there since it was pouring with rain but when we arrived they welcomed us with a welcome drink (although we would've preferred to get to our room and have a shower first). The hotel was very nice, the pool area was lovely and the room was clean. The service at breakfast and at the bar was excellent. We didn't dine at the main resturant as we only stayed a couple of days, however the food looked very nice. It was in a good location just outside of the town. However, be aware if you come from Bali, "taxi's" are much more expensive on this island, also watch out for pick-pockets when you get off the boat whe you arrive.

The outdoor shower was a first for us and now we believe thereās no better way to shower! The food was amazing; beautifully presented dishes, full of flavor, and plenty of menu items offered to suit any palate. The pool had a very comfortable temperature, and there were plenty of lounges with shade umbrellas. The boardwalk below the hotel was a very convenient way to access other restaurants, little shops, and the beach. We were blown away by the hotel itself, but the staff take the experience to an even higher level. Everyday we were greeted with genuine smiles. Each staff member was professional and answered all of our needs with effortless efficiency; everything from booking fast boat transfers and snorkeling activities, to changing currency was done with ease. We didn't have to think about anything else except having fun and relaxing while we were there. We trusted their recommendations for activities and we were not disappointed! Our only problem is that we didnāt book a longer stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect place for a time out - I loved this hotel- very comfortable for a solo traveler, the ocean views, the super nice staff, beautifully presented food and amenities in your room. The spa was a win and I went three days in a row - highly recommend the Balinese massage for 90 mins. The staff go above and beyond. A few things in the room could use refreshing (tote bag was overused, molding in the bathroom needs to be redone and a few things weathered/should be replaced (containers for shampoo/body wash and bath salts). But this was minor. I canāt wait to come again. Perfect place to relax.
