Guest Reviews
- William (1/5): I hated it - The location There was blood in my sheets, the toilet didn’t flush and the staff handed me a plunger to fix it myself
- Wickenkamp (1/5): -
- Proctor (10/5): -
- Walstrom (5/5): No remote for TV - Was able to get room in short time We had no remote for the TV in one of the 2 rooms I booked. Tried calling desk, although late, and there was no answer to try to solve the problem.
- Mariann (8/5): - Convertible beds No refrigerator
- Snakenberg (3/5): -
- David (1/5): Absolutely terrible 🤬👎 - The first room when we got up at 7in the morning thr was no hot water in that room so we had to change rooms at 7am. The second room had no chair to set on in that room. Thy gave someone a key to that room. And at 2:30 in the morning someone came in are room. Wasn't good. That place is a joke. We will never use it again. Hire better managers and staff. Every time I went to the desk there was no one thr to help us out. Once again that place was a joke.
- Cecilia (3/5): Poor ambient, smells terrible, needs improvement. - The property is old, and the hall smells horrible with a terrible looks.the room were ok, good size but need more clean specially the sheets. Needs renovation, it is very scary to walk in the hall and smell terrible.
- Madison (1/5): Gross - Dirty Feces, bugs and not cleanly at all
- Shentearia (2/5): Wouldn’t ever book again. - Having a door with a lock. Pubes in the toilet upon check in, dirty sheets, strong smell of cigarettes throughout the entire property. Microwave didn’t work, tv lagged until it was on for about 20 minutes. Giant pot holes in parking lot. Dirty halls and disorganized all together especially on the main floor.

- David (6/5): I got what I paid for in a good location. - Location and price No breakfast
Small bed
Pool closed
No instructions on heating, froze before I figured it out.

- Jesus (7/5): Agradable y tranquilo - Me gustĂł mucho la tranquilidad, es un lugar silencioso bueno para descansar... La limpieza de algunas ropas de cama no era la mejor. TenĂa muchos cabellos de personas...
- Laura (2/5): A dump with a good location. - The staff was friendly. The pool was closed (broken), the place had zero amenities (I can't think of any motel/hotel in the last decade+ that I've stayed in that didn't supply a hair dryer). Lots of lights out in our rooms, and broken things. The only real positive was the location to Adventureland.
- Christina (3/5): - Pool was one of the only reasons for getting this, and price. Was told on check in pool was closed but chemicals would be added the next day. Next day comes and when asked about pool we were told it was still closed. Pillows were flat. Called to office and told there were none we could have. Asked for extra blankets to prop pillows up and told none. Gave us a few flat towels to prop up pillow. Sheet isn’t fit bed. garbage outside around building. Key lock door broke to inside of motel. So anyone had access to the building.

- Leslie (1/5): Not happy at all . In very pour shape of a motel. - Na The room wasn't finished being remodeled. The floors in the bathroom were not leveled some kind of blood or something on the floor . Not all of the lights worked in the room . The windows wasn't closed and locked when I got in. The door when you closed it did not close safely and also was a 2 inch gap all around the door . Over all I wasn't very happy with this room or motel. They had buckets in the hallway catching water dripping down .they were by some of the doors . I stayed in room 108 on the first floor.
- Anita (7/5): -
- Lindsey (10/5): Excellent - Everything it was a great hotel and an amazing mini vacation get away Side door lock broken
- Lindsay (3/5): Super sad face! - Very close to the highway No coffee pot, no microwave and no fridge in room. Also the ice bucket was a piece of Tupperware. Towels had cigarette burns in them and the sheets had stains on them.
- tori (5/5): -
- VanSickle (10/5): -
- James (7/5): - Although the hotel looks extremely old from the outside, the room was very modern.. the room was very nice.. Just a minor inconvenience there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room.. but for the price, I didn't really expect there to be one... so it wasn't really that disappointed...
- Meri Kling (2/5): Unfortunately stay away - The location was the only good thing The pool wasn't open said it was there was no breakfast and they had bed bugs
- dcdj (8/5): - Bed was comfortable Room was outdated
- Lydia (2/5): - There was mold smell all throughout the room, no toiletries, the one pillow was soaked in a yellow stain. Garbage by the door as soon as you walk in. Drugged up people by the door and a receptionist who could care less about her job. ZERO STARS
- Jeremy (8/5): - Yes there is stuff near by great staff and it was nice and cool in there
- dcdj (5/5): -
- Stineman (10/5): - Quiet , hot shower, comfortable The vending machines were virtually empty and the coffee was weak
- Travis (8/5): not that bad, clean with a few issues - room was clean and in a good location, the refrigerator was missing from the room, the tv was damaged and the pool was not open, but it was not expensive
- Jolene (8/5): - Mice everywhere
- Lohman (1/5): Horrible - The door on the side that you are only supposed to access with your key card had no lock on it. It was left open. I felt extremely unsafe there
- Stineman (8/5): - Cleanliness, location of the room. Friendly staff No coffee maker in the room. The air conditioning wasn't working properly.
- Heather (1/5): - Location When first arriving in the parking lot there was a women who looked as if she was "working". If you follow me. There was a busted down RV and a truck that someone was draining oil out of and people sitting on the stairs smoking. Once entering the establishment the place reeked of what I assume was the staff/owners cooking and musty. Why we continued I'm not sure of. The whole place was ran down. The pool was not accessible. Our room was on the second floor. Those stairs have seen some accidents in their days. They are not level and concrete. We passed the only ice machine on our floor and you guessed it. Out of order, but if it were usable I'd recommend a tetanus shot. At last we found our room. We entered and the first thing noticeable was the over powering smell of mildew. Secondly our light didn't work. We turned on the air conditioner which sounded like it was on its last leg. The final straw was when the toilet decided it was no longer going to be functioning either.
After two sleeps in this place the whole family was ready to go. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room other then to sleep. The only thing I can say was a positive about this stay was the location to Adventureland.
I would not choose this place if you have children or if you simply appreciate plumbing and breathable air.
- Cara (2/5): - The motel is very ran down…. It’s ok for the price but we won’t stay again. Tv didn’t work, it sits on dresser and the spot on the wall where it’s supposed to hang is an exposed mess. Not great for kids at night. Stairwell and motel in general needs cleaned and updated
- CHRISTINA (8/5): - We just needed a place to shower and sleep that was clean. This fit the bill.
- DENNIS (4/5): - No pool no ice machine spiders in the room
- Darla (10/5): - Everything was as expected So price gouging is nonsense. I can book a room for 60-80. and do it for the state fair. Nonsense
- Timothy (2/5): Horrible experience - The room smelled like mold in every area. The Air Conditioner ran but it was very humid the entire night. Unable to watch Netflix on the TV. No shampoo or conditioner provided. Pool was not open.
- Samuel (10/5): -
- Jack (2/5): - Pool not even open
- Richard (4/5): - Older Motel Six showing signs of neglect. Plumbing installation poorly done, caulk and paint sloppy, no tissues in room and none at front desk. Courtyard full of weeds.
Beds ok and room had big fridge and microwave. Newer TVs.
Truck stop next door, so be advised.
- Amber (4/5): - The lady that checked me in was very nice. Very accommodating, but when I went to my first room. The light in the bathroom didn't even work. Then I went to a different room after letting her know. The second room smelt like mildew and had black mold in the air conditioning vent. So then I told her I needed a different one. Went to another room to check it. A smelt like mildew again, black mold in the vent of the air conditioner as well and I do have pictures. Finally, when we got to the fourth room, the lights at least most of them worked one around the bed didn't work and the 1 outside of the bathroom where the sink was didn't work. To continue my evening my remote stop working in the middle of my stay and the toilet stop working properly.
- Laura (10/5): - I likes this motel because it was very clean and very friendly and very safe to stay this is my second time staying here and I would stay here again
- Neumann (1/5): Disgusted - Nothing No refrigerator, or microwave, no chair to sit in. Have to ask for housekeeping to get towels every day u r there. We did not get to go to the room early like we had asked before we arrived. Over all dissatisfied!!
- Marty (3/5): - Close to 1-80 Outside side was filthy cigarette butts everywhere dirty diapers laying all over rooms we're very humid the mattress had plastic covers under the sheets made it very sticky uncomfortable to say the least no kleenex in the rooms I could go on and on!
- Lynn (6/5): - Where do I even start…beds were comfortable, pillows were flat wafers, floors were clean vinyl flooring so that part was good. Very poor lighting, some lights didn’t work, the vanity light around the mirror above sink didn’t work so very little light to do your hair and makeup etc…that just plain sucked. The bathroom was old but clean. The safety latch inside the door was broke so really didn’t give and extra security when locking door besides deadbolt. The AC worked fine BUT the vent fins were covered in black mold on the front of the thing…that was very concerning. The window didn’t have any screens and barely opened. Outside areas are very run down, damaged walls, damaged AC units, brickwork, no mowing or landscaping of any kind…lots of weeds everywhere. The courtyard in the middle of complex had zero yard maintenance landscaping it was all overgrown weeds and a rundown seating area. The pool was closed not sure why but didn’t look like it was in very good condition. The check in was very difficult to u understand because they have thick glass around the front desk with just a small opening at the counter to hear through and the workers are foreign so I couldn’t understand them very well at all…their check in takes a long time and they had lines of people waiting to check in, it was unreal. We were there for Race weekend and so were alot of other people. So with all that said I will say the room did feel clean so I guess that’s the most important part.
- kimberly (4/5): Humidity - The room always felt humid and clothes felt damp. Uncomfortable pillows & bed. Very sticky floors due to humidity? Staff were so so. Wouldn't stay again.
- Teresa (6/5): - Room was clean, but had to check in and get key later because no rooms was clean. Some customers had to wait until midnight to get in room
- Jacqui (8/5): -
- Audra (6/5): - Bedding could’ve had a little more substance. Froze the whole night, even after turning the air up
- Chris (8/5): - It was just right for a one night stay on the road.
- Paw (7/5): Good -
- Dooley (6/5): Pleasant -
- Self (1/5): Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed - Good location for adventure land Got there and the pool was closed the ac sucked in our room and the tv was cracked the ac is disgusting. Probably blow a little bit better if the fins were clean on the fan. Water pressure sucked for shower. And the door had a crack in it so you could see out in the hallway. The door latch also had screw coming out of the lock was definitely not worth the money.
- Dorene (4/5): - Won't stay there again
- Elizabeth (10/5): 5 Star Service - Made the reservation last minute. Staff got me a room downstairs near the rear exit. Was very helpful and friendly.
- mackenzie (2/5): - I got bit up by bed bugs and was told the pool was open and it wasn't
- Katie (8/5): - Room was clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): Left more tired - I could not hear the desk check through the glass wall and was constantly bent over to the little hole in the glass to try to hear him.
It looks like they tried to do a revamp but some of it was not done well, like they didn't cut the paint close to any of wall features. The floor was not level, so everything felt like it was falling towards the bed.
It was pretty clean, but damp. The AC was loud and did not take away any of the humidity.
The toilet was running and making a horrible noise, so I tried to trouble shoot, and I looked in the tank and it looks like someone else had tried to fix it by tying some cord to the arm, I have no idea, but I couldn't get it to stop, so I cashed the front desk and he came up and told me it was fine. I said it wasn't fine. He told me he could move me to another room if I book another night.
So I turned the water off and used the garbage can to flush the toilet.
No sound proofing. You can hear the outside noise and doors closing all night long.
- Lydia (1/5): Bad -
- Christiansen (8/5): Very good -
- Keren (6/5): Mixed feelings - The room was clean - nice vinyl plank flooring, very modern/updated, with a microwave and fridge, easily accessible from I-80.
That said, the pillows were the flattest I've ever seen in a hotel, there was no drain stopper for the bathtub/shower, and the bathroom sink light/mirror was on the fritz like a strobelight. There was no coffeemaker or blowdryer in the room.
The rest of the hotel was in disrepair - chipped paint on the walls and handrails, no working ice maker to be found, no elevator, and weird guards on the stair treads. The courtyard to the pool was full of weeds. This made for an unpleasant experience, and not worth the $105.
- Webb (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect Maybe a little more soap but it was perfect
- Cody (1/5): Did not feel safe for family stay - Front desk worker was nice and the room seemed clean overall The hotel is attached to a truck stop and had a lot of road workers staying there. It was not an environment I felt comfortable having my teenage daughter and young kids staying in. We took one look at the interior of rooms and all collectively decided to keep driving down the road. Paid for 2 rooms and didn’t even sleep there.
- Pedro (10/5): Perfect - It was grate, super clean
- Aaron (10/5): - A very good stay. Hotel was recently updated and comfortable. Bot ice machines were malfunctioning during our stay, but staff made ice available on request to help alleviate the inconvenience. Great hotel for the price and we will be returning here next year!
- Fredrick (10/5): - I will definitely stay there again!
- James (4/5): - Manager knocked on my door at midnight told me I had to vacate cuz I didn't pay I tried to show him my itinerary number that I paid he took me down to the office called me a liar told me to get out and then found out the girl who checked me in didn't do it properly on the computer I had to ask him to apologize
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wynnie (6/5): Inadequate - No refrigerator or coffee maker or blow dryer
- Leanne (4/5): - There was no light over the sink…. No mirrors in the room…. And the a/c didn’t take the humidity out… everything felt damp in the room!!
- Simon (10/5): - Very good @@@@@
- Dorlan (3/5): Poor - It was close to Adventureland, able to see fireworks well July 3rd and 4th The price was a bit steep for what you were offered, no continued breakfast, when asking for help the desk person acted like helping people was an inconvenience, the outside doors had NO locks on them, the cleanliness overall was disgusting. Will never stay there again.
- Alonna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (8/5): - Open 24 hours. We checked in at 2am! Nice room.
- Anzuluni (7/5): Good -
- Anzuluni (7/5): Good -
- Angelore (8/5): - Good customer service .
- Crystal (4/5): - There were no soap or shampoo or conditioner. All the ice makers were broken. There were no working coffee are. You really need step it up and make better. I would never stay there again.
- Donavon (8/5): - Very accommodating
- Terri (7/5): Good - The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and close to the track. There were several minor repairs that needed to be done in the room. The ice machine was broken.
- Maria (4/5): - The door in between floors was rigged and tied back with wire staff helped get us a different room but very impersonable. I didnt get the " Im gald your staying with us feeling. I will not stay again
- Allison (6/5): - It was good
- Keith A (10/5): - It was a basic room. A/C had some problems and a small drip from the faucet. But we were there to sleep and that is what we did.
- Hagood (8/5): Met there with family to pick up grand kids - It was good Bath tub would not hold water
- Brenda (10/5): - Place is neat and clean
- Brenda (10/5): - Nice property and quiet place
- Weston (2/5): - Well, first of all when we got there and checked in our room, had a used bed and no TV on the wall. I went down to tell the front desk person and he told another guy right in front of me that we asked for a room with fewer amenities for a cheaper price, which is not true. After arguing with him for a few minutes, he ended up giving us another room going into that room. There’s no comforters on the beds. Blood stain on the floor overall just not the greatest experience we’ve had with your company. We usually love staying at motel 6s on our travels.
After fighting with him for a while about it, he gave us another room. That room had no comforters on the beds, and the floorboards were all separated.
- Brenda (10/5): - Quiet and clean
- Paul (6/5): - The bullet proof glass, made me a little nervous when I checked in. But, the stay went well..
- Cheyenne (10/5): - Pool was great, they were very nice and answered any questions we had. Will definitely be returning
- Kaycee (1/5): Smelled horrible. Beds were awful. Very unclean. - Smelled horrible. Beds were awful. Very unclean.
- Stineman (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient to work. Next to the truck stop, some fast food vendors, Walmart I really think they should offer a Continental breakfast and a coffee machine.. they get enough travelers, especially with kids
- Dalton (8/5): Very good -
- Bradley (2/5): Stay away!!!!! - Absolutely a terrible disgusting place. My kids were crying it’s so bad. Motel 6 should condemn this pile of crap! Bugs in bathtub. Smoke. Absolutely disgusting
- Janella (10/5): - The staff was very nice and friendly
