- Robinson (4/5): To be honest, if the mattress had been comfortable, it would have made a massive difference. - Room was well set out, close to parking, and away from road noise. Obvious there has been a lot of work done to improve the outer appearance of the place as there was lots of fresh paint. Towels fresh and clean. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Could not get to sleep at all. Regular TV had no reception. Wifi was not available. Shower although clean, took a long time for hot water to come through, and the shower head was pretty poor.

Fire alarm went off about 9pm, false alarm but everyone outside for 20 mins waiting for all clear from the fire department as reception was unattended and didn’t acknowledge the alarm. Then about 4, drunk punters in room below us stomped around for about half an hour waking up the whole motel due to paper thin and echoey walls. Carpark smelt like a toilet and actual room bathroom was not clean. To top it off, found a peice of old pizza crust sticking out from under bed and the ceiling fan wasn’t physically attached to the ceiling but hanging by the wires. Not recommended. Everything.

Couldn’t get hot water to work so had cold shower, heard everything going on in room next door. Everyone walking past room could look in window as no light filtering curtains only blockout curtain so either had lights on all time or everyone got to look in.

- Suzanna (10/5): - Since the last time I stayed here new owners have purchased and renovated, and the Motel has a nostalgic Palm Springs vibe. There is coin operated laundry facilities and kettle, tea/coffee/milk and a fridge. Power to the room remains when you go out, so the fridge will keep your food and drinks cold. Being run unexpectedly while traveling to Wollongong and being asked to hand over my credit card details as a safety deposit.When I asked to sort it out early the next morning I was given the option to call the office number on arrival so that I could access my key from a safe, when I did this, it turned out that I had contacted a third party who said “I think they sent an email about this” when asked if I wanted to go ahead I was a bit surprised because it was after 8pm and I had nowhere else to go so really didn’t have a choice. It was only earlier the week that booking.com scams had been in the press. I really think that if you’re the kind of person who is going to damage the property handing over your credit card details is not much of a deterrent.

- Juliana (8/5): The motel room was very clean with all we needed for the night. - We had a room for 3 adults and needed accommodation not far from the Builders Club. The motel was easy to find and had plenty of parking on the premises. Bathroom and toilet was very clean. I liked the body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. Kitchenette had tea, coffee and milk. A good size fridge. Beds and pillows very comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The ironing facility was near our room, so that was really good as we needed to iron some clothes. Everything was clean and tidy. The room was located on the left side just as you come through from reception. No noise throughout the night it was quiet with a pleasant atmosphere. We only stayed for one night, so didn’t need too much. There wasn’t anything we weren’t happy with.

It is a cheaper older style motel ( being refurbished I believe ) but it was super clean and rooms done each day. Neighbours on last night very noisy but that is not the motels fault. Just wish people would be a bit more considerate

So we were very disappointed that the room we were given was very small and last updated last century. And we paid the going rate for a good motel room. The car park was so small you couldn't get in or out of the car without touching the next car.

- Peter (2/5): I will not be staying here again! - The room was small, dingy and totally inappropriate for guests. When I checked in I was told to keep the bathroom door shut when I showered or else it would set off the alarm system. As there was no fan in the bathroom this may have been a problem, however, given that on the second day of my stay there was no hot water it was a redundant request. The paint work was dirty and the room lacked the basics such as a microwave. There was a nice new television, however, the poor reception meant that only one channel could be viewed. There does appear to be renovation work underway in some rooms so if you do want to book a stay here be fussy about the room you are allocated.

I had booked a room with Balcony but I was not given that room, rather I got a room on the ground floor and this place is very noisy. The locals come and check in, call their mates amd make noise non stop for the whole night. I will not be going back to this place again. Finding a parking inside the hotel premises was tough as I had to wait for others to get their cars out to park mine. Call this place good if it cost less than $100 but for $200 a night this was unacceptable. Also, if you happen to forget your room key inside after hours,, good luck getting back inside.

The room we were in had the tv mounted on the side we got sore necks from sitting against the hard wall (no bed head) and watching it. Had people out on balcony talking past 10pm and walking past room until 3am.

- Heather (6/5): No frills, but served its purpose. - There were the essentials - a bed, a shower, and a toilet. It was clean. Air conditioning was a big plus. And free Wi-Fi. There was even a mini-fridge and a small desk. Private bathroom. Room was very tiny. Mattress was mediocre. Sink had separate hot and cold faucets, and the streams of water were separate.

- mark (1/5): I would not let my dog stay there - Extremely dirty room and beds were shocking it would have to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was absolutely a decrease exposed wiring around the 1920 fan old and smelly bed the bathroom was so dirty you would have been better to hose yourself down outside DO NOT STAY THERE A ABSOLUTELY WASTE OF MONEY Leaving

- Laura (5/5): For a night it was okay, old and a bit tired but staff friendly and good location. - Staff was friendly upon arrival and a good, central location. The room was clean. Great parking available on site. The heating in the room was good too and convenient having a restaurant on site also. The room was very old and quite run down. It needs a facelift rather than just little patch fixes here and there. The outside lights stayed on right outside the window all night which was annoying.
