• Tanya (9/5): Great value for the money spent! Excellent experience! - Loved the property and the location was close enough to the falls. It was a comfortable walk. The staff were excellent. Both Nikki and Leo were helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was great with a tasty assortment of hot and cold foods. Great value for the price. Lots of light coming through the rooms especially on a sunny day. Another reason to get out and enjoy the property and the amenities close by.

• Karen (8/5): We'll be back! - Excellent except not for vegetarians. There were other options, but some of our group don't eat eggs or sausage. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and want to ensure their guests are well taken care of. The bathtubs are sometimes slippery, it would be a great idea to add grab bars to get in and out. Some of the rooms had shampoo and conditioner, other rooms did not.

• Meredith (7/5): A safe, quaint, homey inn in the perfect location - The staff - Robin & Susan - were AMAZING. They make up for any & all shortcomings of the property. Don't get me wrong, the property is beautiful, but there are some cosmetic repairs needed and upkeep by the owner. The location is excellent with a bus stop literally in front of the house. I also loved that I could have a room that was very large and comfortably accommodated my spouse and one child, who had her own twin bed at the other side of the room. There are a lot of cosmetic repairs that need to be made to the home -such as new blinds, fresh paint on windows, new air window units, etc. The bathroom window was in need of repair - I wouldn't even dare try to open it because it was in such bad shape. These cosmetic repairs wouldn't cost a lot to make, but should be done, right. The mattresses and pillows could be newer and comfier, too. Last, while the towels were nice and plentiful, there is only hand soap in the bathroom. There are no lotions, shampoo, or anything "extra." I haven't stayed in a hotel or inn ever where there was nothing but hand soap.
• Michelle (8/5): It was lovely, no major complaints, but oil the bathroom door hinges & notify guests of unavailable - The room was beautiful, though the photos made it seem like the living room was part of our booking, not a communal space. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. The fireplace was unusable, and a feature we specifically looked for when choosing accommodations. The closet door wasn't latching properly. The bathroom door squeaked and woke the others in the room up when using the washroom at night. Outlet/ lamp on one side of the bed (nearest the door) didn't work. The television menu was in Russian and needed a log in for the various apps, so we just used YouTube as a guest

• Howard (7/5): Quaint and restful place to get away! - The location is excellent! It was quiet yet perfectly located for easy access to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast we very tasty. There were few comfortable places to sit in the room we had. There was no water in the coffee/tea service area ... and only instant coffee - a convenient cup of coffee a must for a relaxing start to our day!

• Elisabeth (6/5): Dringend renovierungsbedürftiges Haus mit guter Lage zu den Falls - Vom Chestnut Inn gelangt man zu Fuß in 30 Minuten entlang des Niagara Rivers zu den Falls. Wenn man die River Road immer in die andere Richtung fährt, ist man in ca 25 Minuten im wunderschönen Ort Niagara on the Lake. Parken ist kostenlos und direkt von dem Haus. Das Haus gehört dringend renoviert. Es ist wunderschön, doch alles ist alt und teilweise nicht mehr funktionsfähig. Das Bett wurde als großes Bett beschrieben, es war jedoch urhoch, dafür sehr schmal und daher nicht bequem. Wir haben 2 Nächte sehr schlecht geschlafen. Außerdem war es im Zimmer trotz kleinem Heizkörper sehr kalt und die zu kleine Decke viel zu dünn. Das inkludierte Frühstück gibt es für alle Gäste zusammen an einem großen Tisch nur um 9 Uhr. Frühstück ist nicht gut, Würstchen und Eier mit harten, aber dafür süßen!! Bagels, leider kein Brot.

• Alexander (1/5): Never again - Didn't like Old and dirty. Broken windows, smells old and smoke . The bed is too high, and matrass is old and too squeaky. Can be heard sound from the hall. Dust all over. Breakfast was prepared without any sanitary safety precautions, no gloves.

Everything that has been written about this house is true and even better. It is a quiet place with a beautiful view from the window. We had access to coffee or tea at any time. The room was very cozy and clean. Every detail of the interior was chosen with love. The breakfast was excellent, with fruits and sweets on the table. If you are a fan of country style, you should definitely visit this house. The only thing that was a bit of a downer was not being able to turn on the fireplace, but that's just a minor inconvenience. I will be staying in this house every time I visit Niagara. Nothing

Our king room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and quiet—I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the large balcony. We were also very glad to find that the Wego bus line has a stop at the curb out front (it’s in fact called the “Bed and Breakfast stop”) and follows River Road to the area of the falls and related attractions. And lastly, we appreciated Robin’s flexibility with regard to our late arrival and her responsiveness in general. Thank you.

• Alex (10/5): - 10/10 stars, cannot recommend this B&B experience in Niagara highly enough. We will absolutely be back, we are singing their praises for the rest of our life - this was a magical stay at a once in a life time bed and breakfast. I cannot be more emphatic over how much we loved our stay. The house, our room, the people… it was everything that makes travel as amazing as it is. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in July. Robin and the entire staff were simply magnificent. The kindest, most generous and warming host and staff anyone could ever ask for. Truly appreciative of their service, we felt like we were coming home every night. The house/property is simply gorgeous. It is an old gorgeous house, with incredibly adorable and comfortable rooms. We had the Rose room. The cleanest at accommodations I’ve experience in years, even compared to high end hotels! The staff provided a communal homemade breakfast every morning for the guests, and the food was hearty and delicious, with a generous spread of pastries fruit and coffee. We will be thinking of this place often, and recommending it to anyone we know coming through the area. We cannot wait to get back!

• Donna (8/5): - The quaint Inn was approx. 1 mile from the falls - which was a nice walk. The breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. The host was rather brief at check-in.
• Julie (6/5): - The first thing you smell when you walk in is an old smoke smell. The workers smoke there even though it’s a non smoking Inn. The main hostess was very grumpy and somewhat stern with all of the people staying there. She was very unprofessional. The bed in my room was a daybed. It was incredibly high. I have never seen one like it. I had to reach over and pull myself up with the bed frame to get in. My friend and I had to wait in the sitting area for two hours for a ride to the airport. She needed to use the restroom, and they refused to let her use a restroom. There isn’t a public restroom there, and they wouldn’t let her use theirs. They were very rude about it. The four of us agreed that we wouldn’t recommend or visit it again.

Mattresses were very good and we slept well despite the proximity to the main Niagara Parks road. Robyn served excellent breakfasts that were a great start to our days. We would definitely recommend.

• Lola (7/5): Welcoming & helpful staff !! - Robin, Susan, & Nicki, the women managing the property, were EXCELLENT - welcoming & friendly and very quick to respond to my texts prior to arrival and also at the property. My room was comfortable and quiet with three large windows overlooking the lovely front lawn & the Niagara Gorge. The bed & pillows were especially comfortable. Flower baskets decorated the property; three tables with comfortable chairs were available to enjoy the spectacular verandah. The Chinese owner does not seem interested in repairing and/or maintaining the property. The blinds in my room were old, broken, and ripped. Only one window had a curtain. The door to the balcony off my room was sealed shut because the wood on the balcony was rotting. The beautiful gazebo on the front lawn is taped off because it too is rotting. DECAY is not a good look.

The bathtub very uncomfortable curtain much too close for washing your body. Can be dangerous if not good balance getting in n out of tub nothing to hold onto. Bathroom also needs a table or counter to keep your toiletries.
