- Peter (9/5): A nice stay - The location was right where we needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant/bar was good food and accommodating. Didn’t like the small charges/add-ons for coffee and breakfast. Would prefer it was included in the price.
- N7977AOkatel (10/5): History and modern times meet at Wellsworth - Great space within our King room, very clean and well appointed. Even with extra pillows! Bed was perfect. Nice and quiet during evening and morning hours. Plenty of communal space for the evening with the pool. Courtyard and Shades lounge, equipped with pool, darts, jenga and multiple tv’s. Breakfast was great, slightly elevated price for buffet. Servers at breakfast were very attentive and pleasant. Checkout was easy and convenient, staff was great.
- Ashley (10/5): It was a very comfortable stay. - Nice and clean, close to restaurants.
- Shirley (10/5): -
- Kathryn (5/5): Beds were comfortable, it was cold the entire time - It was lacking in cleanliness. It was cold everywhere in the hotel It just needed updating, and it was messy
- Michelle (9/5): -
- Judi (9/5): Great place for a quick stop over. - The bed was super comfortable. The room and facility were exceptionally clean and quiet. Front desk personnel were very helpful and welcoming. The room was large. Overall, a great place to stay. No breakfast included, and the restaurant was not open when we needed an early morning meal, but that isn't a big deal as dining options were nearby.
- SHARIC437 (10/5): Good clean quiet - Everything was great. Room comfortable. Food good. Various amenities. But they could get some usable cue sticks for the pool table. They are curvy, taped together or missing tips. And lounge is too dark. But we got a good price for mid April.

- ewanm958 (2/5): Avoid: infrastructure in collapse. - Sorry folks: avoid. This hotel has clearly not been keeping up with maintenance. The rooms are very dated and shabby, fine; but then BOTH the a/c system failed (so that rooms were >80F) **and** there was no hot water because their boiler system failed (so no showers or anything). Ridiculous.
- Donna (2/5): Will not use this Hotel again. - Had no hot water the whole day of April 9, 2026 and the whole day of April, 12, 2026 No hot water for 2 days of our stay..
- Sightsee45505026735 (2/5): Not sanitary - Unfortunately this hotel is very dirty. Splatter on walls, pink slime, black mold, trash on floors upon check in, just to name a few.
- April (10/5): -
- Tking_boston (10/5): Great place to relax - We were there for a quick conference and the setting was perfect. There were lots of little nooks for thinking and planning.

- leighlati (10/5): FIND IT, STAY HERE! You won't be sorry. - Stay here, just do it! You won't be sorry. It's a beautiful gem! The price is very reasonable. I have not a negative thing to say. Bed/pillows are comfortable. Everything is very clean. I would stay here, over the Hilton.
- Taisha (10/5): -
- Brianna (4/5): - close ants
- Cyana (8/5): Overall 7 out of 10 - Nice and quiet Beds had a few stains on them .. rugs could of been vacuumed
- Nicole (6/5): Pleasant but Outdated - Stopped here for a night on a road trip and it was fine. The lobby and common areas were very nice, there was a pool available which is increasingly rare nowadays. The woman that checked us in was very kind and I regret not getting her name to say thank you. Restaurant and Bar weren’t the best but we didn’t have any other options in town as it was later in the evening.
Bed was comfortable. Room could definitely use a deep clean. Carpet was a little beat up. High traffic areas were clean but down in the corners and on the tops of the TV cabinet and the nooks and crannies were all pretty dusty/dirty. Found a hair folded into one of the towels but otherwise, the bed was clean and comfortable and it sufficed for the night. The bar was exceptionally expensive for what they offered and the menu online was not correct so we were disappointed when half the options we were looking at were not actually available. Overall, it was good for what it was but I definitely feel like I should’ve paid maybe a little less. Cable TV, Hair in towel, Old/Dirty Carpeting
- Jose (10/5): Excellent place to Unwind, relax & have a few drinks - Our Favorite Place to stay and unwind. We live the pool, Hot tub pool table & bar. Such a nice place to stay. Staff is always pleasant 😊 No complaints over here. Hotel is always clean.
- Ludivine (8/5): A nice hotel 25mn from Pomfret school - Room was very large and quiet. Beds were comfortable. No shampoo.
Not many parking spaces
- M245WVmichellef (10/5): The Best - What a great hotel! Everything from the staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms and the wonderful food made our stay exceptional
- Fallas segura (10/5): - The people, the swimming pool, everything was great, very comfortable, awesome view The buffet not free. Lol
- Edson (9/5): -
- 499lucianv (10/5): Highly Recommended - Wonderful customer service, accommodating, and great atmosphere. We were very happy with our experience and we will be back!
- Jeffrey (6/5): About the best option in an area that offers very few. - The property is an old optical mill headquarters building where offices have been converted to hotel rooms. Overall it is OK, given the alternative accommodations in the area this is the best value but don’t expect great services. Rooms only made up after the 2nd evenings stay, hotel can be noisy especially rooms on at street side and street level.

- Emco-Rollins (5/5): - Pool was closed the night we stayed walked into puddles of vommit on the floor near front desk ( did get cleaned while we were down there checking in but still.
- Correct (1/5): - Pool and hot tub No microwave in room, horrible basic cable, teenagers running up and down the halls for hours until 11pm
- Kristen (5/5): I found staff nice but areas of the hotel were sloppy and my room was dirty when I exited my room to check out I saw hou - I always love the location where it is. I found my room to be sloppy found beer caps in one of the drawers

- Virginia (8/5): -
- Allyson (10/5): - Cleanliness
- Brittany (4/5): Nice but better on week days for sure - We love this place and always come for the pool hot tub and bar There was so many kids and parents not paying any attention so we got kicked in the pool and they took over the hot tub without any supervision. Also I went to the bathroom near the pool and it was full of teenagers sitting on the sinks and I complained to the staff at the front desk and he did nothing. Won’t go back on a weekend due to parents not even because of the hotel
- Degnan (10/5): - bed was super comfortable and the curtains were essentially black out :)
- Timothy (10/5): It was nice staff all nice and a lot to do - Got a lot to do for just about anyone There nothing I didn’t like
- Emco-Rollins (10/5): - Excellent place all of it
- jennifer (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): -
- emewheels372018 (10/5): Great weekend with friends - Very nice hotel. Indoor pool and fitness area. Only a few miles to Sturbridge Village. A half an hour to the DCU center for shows or Polar Park to see the WOO SOX in Worcester
- Daniella (3/5): -
- probo50 (8/5): good enough experience - Saturday afternoon's sandwich buffet ran quite short on food. We were the last table to eat. No tomatoes, no coleslaw, bread was low, I wanted to make a salad instead of eating a sandwich, but everything was really blown out. Many were irate. I went with the flow.
- Kelli (10/5): - Everything. Enjoyed playing pool and darts at night. Nothing not to like.
- Megan (10/5): Amazing, great staff clean facilities - Plenty to do Everything was great
- Lyonell (4/5): -
- janicejA9030HR (6/5): OK But Not Great - Great front desk staff, clean rooms, decent food options, but not so great restaurant service, and clear signs of severe wear on rugs, furniture, doorways and walls. Worst part was the incredibly rock hard beds. One of my Travel companions even called them more like bouncy rocks than a bed
- Torii (10/5): -
- Nowlan (9/5): -
- Luis (10/5): Great hotel - Bar/restaurant in the lobby and the indoor pool and jacuzzi Water pressure wasn't to good in our room shower
- LoriC133 (6/5): This hotel is just ok - Clean hotel and spacious rooms but there was an awful noise coming from the ceiling ..luckily it stopped at 8 pm but it started again at 8am and woke us up ....lady at the front desk was very rude when we checked in...I was asking her questions and she rudely said "there is a paper in your room with all of that info on it " ...then I asked her if there were any luggage carts and she rudely said "they are all being used" I brought my son to the lobby at 1130 pm to buy him a drink and the young man working made us wait bc he was stocking the cooler instead of just waiting on us and there were people behind us ...the shades lounge is very convenient to have there but the food was subpar and not great and the wait for the food / check etc was very long ..they seemed short staffed ...we had to flag down the waitress for everything ..
- rinkrat (10/5): Great stay - I had "won" a package in a charity auction and had never heard of the hotel or even the city the hotel was in before.
Pleasantly suprised. The hotel was huge. Like Vegas hotel huge. Absolutely stunning pool. It was location in a solarium type structure and also had a decent size hot tub. Unfortunately I didn't have type to use it.
The gym was also very large and well appointed. Free weights, cardio equipment, tons of exercise machines, racquetball and basketball courts (yes, in a hotel) I think it was the biggest gym I have ever seen in a hotel before. I felt guillty as I walk through it on my way to the pub.
Shades Lounge was a very nice experience. A decent wine selection. They don't have a wine list as the selection frequently changes but they were happy to review what they were currently carrying. The bartender also took the time to review some specialty Holiday cocktails they had created which sounded so good I of course had to try one. It was wonderful.
Room was very large with a nice louging chair, desk, mini fridge and coffee maker.
Our view was of a cute little common that was across the street that was filled with holiday decorations and lights. We walked across the street and was very we did because it was little gazebo and little light village with tons of cute cut out animals that were all lit up.
Hotel had a cute courtyard with a fire pit that was lit up with white lights. Would be a cute area to sit in the warmer months.
Hotel was super quiet. Didn't hear any other guests during the night. Almost felt like we had the entire hallway to ourselves.
Visited Salem Cross Inn, Steaming Tender (both very cool restaurants) and Sturbridge Village for their holiday candle light stroll. I would recommend doing this earlier in the day as it is only light by candles at night and would be difficult to walk the paths in the dark.
- Kimberly (10/5): - The decor , the heated pool , the hot tub, the rooms are spacious , and the staff is so nice.
- heidihW4680DQ (10/5): Wonderful - This hotel was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. Tammi at the front desk was so accommodating and kind. We enjoyed food and drinks at the bar. Mel was great. Food and drinks were very good. We would stay here again
- Chazotte (7/5): Cute place, easy access, and great pool - This was a decent sized hotel room. We booked the double queen suite. We went with our family to swim in the pool. The pool was nice, and jacuzzi was a great addition. Hotel is a little older, but a beautiful venue. We went during a cheering competition event. We were unaware of this. There were preteens and teens everywhere well past 10pm running up and down the halls in various forms of teenhood. It was really the only negative part of the experience. Kids making out around every corner at 11pm was kind of wild.
- jilllO4775OI (10/5): Wellsworth hotel - I love this place. I go here at least once a month to be with my husband, or my daughter.
- Theodoss (8/5): I would definitely consider staying at the facility again to use the recreation areas. - The history of the building and what they did with the facility. Breakfast buffet was bad. The quiche and spinach pockets were unique. Could use a small amount of upkeep with a few chairs with turn backs and some wall paper beginning to pull away at the seams. Might want to consider cooking the most of the breakfast items to order.
- GlendaS685 (8/5): Overall a great place to stay. - Tami at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming, professional and addressed concerns. Mel the bartender and Sam were excellent and provided exemplary customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor.
The only complaint/concerns are how low the chairs/couches were in the lobby (except for the hightop table) . The chairs in the breakfast area were very low and uncomfortable. Acouple of people in our party were unable to have breakfast there because there was no other place for them to comfortably sit due to physical disabilities. Also the toilets are very low, even in the handicap stalls however they did have bars to help them stand up.
- David (8/5): - Clean and friendly staff! Absolutely no shower pressure. Fixtures are old and dated with mold on the bathroom tiles. Bed was stiff.
- Liat (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Lima (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Pleasant suprise. - Huge room. Great location for what we were going to do.
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Heidi (10/5): - Große Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, sehr freundliches Personal. Großer Fitnessbereich und großes Hallenschwimmbad.
Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): - This was a way point on our way to Maine. The historic building is cool. The only negative comment I have is that breakfast looked disappointing, so we did not stay.
- Sheri (6/5): Great staff, clean hotel, but broken hot tub. - It was clean and the staff was great! Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working and that was the main attraction for booking this hotel.
- GLORIA A (10/5): A great place to stay for a few days - bed was finenothing
