I had to park rather far away to checkin at the time we chose. I then needed to go back to my car and keep trying to park closer, eventually getting it within 20 meters. However, it was a bank Holiday weekend. P.s check the parking signage, as I was parked on a permit only street at first.

- Jill (9/5): A well run, clean and comfortable Bed&Breakfast hotel in a superb location. - When we arrived and viewed our room we were surprised how small it was despite the sea view which we requested. The management were very helpful and we upgraded to a superior room more spacious suitable for a 3 night stay. The breakfast was excellent and organised. All was good.

- Annamária (10/5): 19.szazadi nyugalom modern köntösben az Északi-tengert kémlelve - Az elhelyezkedése, lehetett a tengerpartot látni a magaslatról. Finom volt a reggeli. Autentikus volt az enteriőr. A tulajdonos nagyon kedves volt. Mindennel meg voltunk elégedve, még úgy is, hogy a negyedikre lift nélkül kellett feljutni 💪 Visszamegyünk az biztos!!! Oh, és csendes volt ez is nagyon tetszett, nem zajongott senki. Nem volt ilyen.

A kedvessège mindenkinek,a kényelem és a felszereltség.Nagyon hangulatos,családias hely és tiszta.Legközelebb is ott foglalok szállást! Nemtudom, hogy csak mi nem találtuk de a közös helységbe jó lenne egy mikrohullámu sütő amiben bármikor tudunk melegíteni ítalt vagy ételt.

- Michael (9/5): Great stay at Mansion House and Scarborough. - Great place to stay and in a great location, coupled with amazing greeting from owner. Staff very attentive and provided good service. Breakfast was very tasty. We will definitely stay again but would upgrade to a room with a Seaview next time. First time in Scarborough for my partner and she just fell in love with the place. For us there was nothing not to like.

That was the third stay at mansion house this room was by far under expectations to be honest. The room was small the double bed seemed small the bathroom was very tight and the shower tiny

- Lynn (10/5): Very comfortable and clean with exceptional breakfast - Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a single to a double room. The room was small but had everything I could possibly need. Every part of the hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the whole breakfast experience is exceptionally good. The young waitresses at breakfast are really pleasant and professional.
- Wayne (10/5): Fantastic guest house, lovely location, and sublime breakfast! - Room was very accommodating with all creature comforts and practical facilities catered for. Cleanliness was excellent and beds very comfortable. It's location was ideal being a short walk to town but far enough away for some peace and serenity. With the Italian gardens just over the road it was nice to be able to pop over and unwind in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was the stand out feature of the stay, I can see why Mansion House has won awards for it! Almost every option catered for with fresh produce and excellent hosting (5*'s). The host couldn't have been more accommodating when we arrived a little early. All in all a lovely place to stay and will certainly be considered when we come back (our little boy had a lovely time!). Thank you. Climbing several flights of stairs after a full day of walking around :-D (just kidding!). I would be very critical if I said car parking, we were lucky and got very close but I could imagine it being tricky at times, although appreciate this is beyond the owners control so consider it's relevance to be pretty low in all honesty.

- Matthew (10/5): A great short family break. So glad we chose this location and this guest house in particular. - The very warm welcome we received from the owner was typical of a high standard such as this. It's the small touches like the welcome drinks that make this guest hours stand out from your run of the mill hotels. The room was very clean on arrival and coffee/tea/etc. was topped up daily. It's no surprise that they have received awards for their breakfast. The service and the quality of the food was terrific with a superb level of choice. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Everything was perfect so I can't suggest any improvements.

- Linda (8/5): Nice accommodation, but wouldn’t stay again - Exceptionally clean , breakfast was very good , lots of choice, honesty bar , hosts were friendly. Room 17 with sea view top of house which we had to endure 63 steps up to the room , every single day ( 7 days stay) which didn’t suit us , due to us both being pensioners, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have mobility issues, we weren’t offered a lower floor at any time , even though there appeared to be vacancies at times during the week.The room did have a lovely view from the window, however the bed was a big disappointment the mattress was very uncomfortable and it felt very lumpy and not the best I didn’t have a decent nights sleep since I had arrived.Breakfast was good , but the service girls were too keen to ask what we wanted for a cooked breakfast while we were still eating our cereal , felt rushed to hurry up and finish .

- Helen (9/5): Fabulous - The property was really lovely exceptionally clean throughout all Staff were so friendly and helpful The room we were in was well equipped comfortable and spotless… only problem was the bathroom it was very small and my husband did struggle in the shower because it was so small… having said that we were made so welcome and enjoyed every minute… we will return and we do recommend

Breakfast - good choice and yummy ✅ Bed comfy ✅ room a good size, comfortable and everything you needed for a good nights stay ✅ Situation - overlooking the cliffs to the North Sea and the Italian gardens ✅ cheeky glass of wine on arrival ✅ ✅ Would definitely recommend!! Nothing!! Well only that my bedroom was on the top floor. Lots of stairs to climb but give me a good work out.

- Cordelia (8/5): - When I booked the room I didn’t realise that it was up six flights of stairs. I have a heart condition - so it was an effort (although there was a chair for me to sit on half way up. The shower room was tiny - so not much room for toiletries etc but I was a travelling solo. I had to lower the welcome tray as it was placed too high for me to reach the kettle (it was placed on top of a chest of drawers and I was cautious about pouring boiling water). The view from the window was fabulous but I think there should have been a blind to protect eyes from the morning sun. The sun was so bright I was totally taken unaware on the first morning. The breakfast and service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I did enjoy the stay and have learned a lot from my stay regarding stairs and what to be aware of when booking further accommodation.
