Llegamos al hotel un rato antes del horario del check in y nos dieron la habitación en el momento. El desayuno estuvo muy bien, completo para quienes no son exigentes.

Breakfast is acceptable for the hotel class. - the elevators are slow and old. One was out of service for the entire day during one of Mc my stat days. • Master (8/5): Хорошо, но грязно - Нужен был недорогой отель на сутки в центре Москвы. Останавливалась в Уланской 4 года назад, гостиница мне в принципе нравится. В одноместном номере эконом есть все необходимое, даже халат и тапочки, и кондиционер (!), и холодильник, но мебель и техника, за исключением холодильника, очень старая. В ванной были ВЕЗДЕ волосы - на раковине, в душевой, на полу. Такое вообще впервые вижу при заселении. Ладно, можно совершить погрешность в виде некачественной уборки на время твоего проживания - я бы знала, что в ванной или где-либо ещё остались именно МОИ волосы. Но чтобы не подготовить номер к приезду нового гостя... Ладно, мне нужно было помыть только голову. Фен поработал несколько заходов по 10 сек, после каждого "подхода" был щелчок-вспышка, и фен умирал. Думала, позвоню на ресепшен, и мне тут же принесут запасной фен. Но... И телефон не отзывался на мои попытки. В пульте от телевизора не работали кнопки переключения каналов, приходилось поочерёдно нажимать 1, 2, 10 и тд. Исправно, но немного шумно работал разве что холодильник. Времени у меня катастрофически не хватало на разрешение моих претензий, поэтому надеюсь, что отзыв передадут в отель. Из плюсов: отличное расположение, вкусный завтрак, включённый в стоимость номера. Очень порадовало то, что в 10.30 (он до 11) ещё был хороший выбор блюд. Аппарат с бесплатными кофе/чаем на входе в отель. И, как я просила, мне действительно дали крайний номер, где было свежо (окно просто не закрывалось плотно)))

It has an incredible breakfast with lots of choices, my room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There was a little fridge in a room, hot water in the foyer and free coffee in the lobby. The only suggestion would be to install the lights above the mirror in the bathroom.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Hotel Ulanskaya saved us! - We came to Moscow for the World Cup and we reserved on a hotel that turned out to be non-existent. After fearing for our lives and wondering at 2:30am we found Ulanskaya and they kindly took us in! The staff was extra nice and made sure we had a great experience, they helped us with some russian words we didn’t understand and our room was cleaned every day. If I go back to Russia, will definitely go back to this hotel!

Ha un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo generale ma in special modo per le camere singole. Ho trovato il letto confortevole e la stanza aveva tutto il necessario per il soggiorno (mini frigo, acqua, armadi ampi, scrivania). La pulizia era giornaliera e buona. В номере правда не работал кондиционер, но я не стремилась его включать, т.как отношусь с подозрением (говорят старые кондиционеры распространяют инфекцию). Завтраки хорошие.Остался один неприятный момент: бармен смотрел с подозрительностью и ему все казалось, что я не имею право на бесплатный завтрак. На 5 день он мне сказал, что у меня не должно быть бесплатного завтрака, пришлось выяснять на ресепшене. Впрочем все прояснилось, но неприятный осадочек остался. В целом отель понравился.

• Michael (10/5): Zentrale Lage, Top Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis - Ich habe zwar wenig Zeit im Hotel verbracht, aber der Eindruck war sehr solide. Das Hotel wurde wohl relativ vor kurzem renoviert bzw. neu eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt: 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der U-Bahn entfernt. Für den Preis kann man kaum was besseres verlangen.

Got off at the nearest subway station and asked a dozen people in the area if they knew the Hotel Ulanskaya on Ulansky Per and nobody had a clue. Finally took a taxi only to find out I was actually standing 300 yards from the hotel! The room was spartan but had everything that was required. The staff were friendly but little English. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!
• africanqueen (8/5): Good hotel for the price - Positives: the price of the room was very affordable. It is very close (100 m) to the metro which is one of the best in the world. Breakfast was included with the room and was good --- coffee, eggs, fresh fruits it satisfied our needs. no complaints with customer service. Room very clean. We would definitely stay there again Negative: Shower was very small and tight and had issues with drainage. if you blast the shower, water did not get drained easily. The trick to use this shower was to run "gently" and you would be fine. luckily we are not very tall people so the shower was ok for us. Curtains were not "black out". at around 530 am, we could "feel" the sun and would wake us up early.

• Alla (4/5): Good location and nothing else! - Shabby hotel with no choice of food for lunch or dinner, poor customer service skills of the staff. The cards do not open the doors and we had to go downstairs to reprogram them 4 times! You have to ask for towels. We had to ask for bed linen and the size provided did not match the size of a sofa bed. The hotel did not warn you they will not be able to register you with migration authorities (obligatory registration for foreigners in Russia) when you are leaving the country. I am well travelled and not picky but our Moscow stay was ruined by our experience in Ulanovskaya. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Noone speaks english, and do not be mistaken, not close to the red square...find somewhere else..I just paid the money, and left...stay away!!!
• Gideon (8/5): Marsha'lling in the Ulanskaya makes happy camper! - We like the room and the friendly staff - it was clean and comfortable and everything went very well with our stay especially with the efficient and considerate service of the front desk staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Consequently, we were pleased to book the Ulanskaya again for an extra 2 days to complete our first-ever trip to Moscow, Russia.
• Arik (8/5): תמורה מעולה למחיר אך יש לשפר תחזוקה - המלון נקי מאוד אך התחזוקה מעט לוקה בחסר. הייתי בחדר אחר שבו המקרר לא ממש קירר, היה חסר מדף במקלחת (היו מחזיקי מדף אך ללא מדף), היה חסר וילון חלקי. אני במלון זה כבר בפעם שנייה ולכן יודע שצריך להתעקש איתם ואז תקבלו חדר משביע רצון. אצלי דאגתי שיעבירו לי מקרר מחדר אחר ומדף במקלחת גם הועבר מחדר אחר. בעיה קשה ישנה בוילונות שאינם אוטמי אור!!! פשוט בחירה אומללה של בד לוילון. עקב חדירת האור מזריחת השמש התעוררתי כל בוקר בשעה 07:00 כשאני בחופשה. שוקל ברצינות לא לחזור למלון זה שוב רק בגלל העניין עם הוילונות. הוייפיי לא משהו והקליטה לא טובה בחלק מהחדרים. יש מתקן מים מינרליים בכל קומה לשימוש חופשי, יש מקרר קטן בחדר שזה פלוס דיר מבחינתי. בגדול אני מאוד אוהב את המלון והמתקנים בו, הוא נמצא במרחק 5 דקות הליכה מ-3 תחנות מטרו של 3 קווים שונים שזה מעולה במוסקבה. ארוחת הבוקר בסיסית אך טובה ומלאה. השירות חביב וסביר. לגמרי תמורה מעולה למחיר!
• Alex (10/5): Highly recommended - Had an excellent stay. Hotel is perfectly located, clean and friendly. The breakfast is generous, the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are made every day. The hotel is two-three minutes walk from a very convenient metro station and is perfectly located in general in the NE of the city. There are a number of fine restaurants all within the immediate vicinity (walking distance) and dinner at the hotel itself is also available.

• Vladimir (8/5): Very basic clean hotel in a good central location - I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in their basic standard double room. Paid an average of $50/night plus taxes and fees, so for the price it was a pretty decent stay. The breakfast bar was included and the food and service at the restaurant was good. People occupying the hotel while I was there were primarily Russian locals from outside Moscow traveling on business. Although the room had a double bed, any additional "guests" would be charged extra. No visitors were allowed in the room after 11 pm. But if you don't plan on having friends visiting in the evening, it is a good and quiet place in a good central location, Boulevard Ring with 3 subway lines are about 1000 feet away. A walk to the Kremlin area takes about 30 minutes...otherwise - 2 short subway stops in about 10 minutes.

• JOAO W (8/5): I recommend - Very good hotel and well located.
• Verified traveler (6/5): No-frills good location - Tiny room good enough for short business stay at a central location with Metro nearby. Service personnel seemed rookies but they really did their honest best efforts so they will get better. Restaurant/breakfast needs much improvement. Within the said expectations, a decent option.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Good hotel - Very good price, clean, very quiet, in nice neighborhood, a few blocks from nice restaurants and coffee shops, 1/4 km from metro that has 3 metro lines running through it, two stops from Red Square
• Dennis (8/5): convenient location close to Kremlin - Difficult to find entrance but this is a utilitarian business hotel next to Lukoil headquarters and subway, walking distance to Kremlin, Red Square, GUM. Staff was lacking in English but pleasant and I was able to get by. Breakfast was an excellent buffet and they had an excellent business lunch at a good price. The room was small and needed updating but was comfortable. Seemed like a good value.
