- Alexandra (10/5): A little gem of a find in Bar Harbour! - This hotel is super cute! Spotlessly clean, and well positioned. But the biggest asset is their staff. Everyone here is so welcoming, friendly and helpful - determined to make your experience memorable. Truly 5 stars! Another thing I will add is free parking, free all day coffee and water and homebaked treats definitely makes guests feel like it is more about the guest experience and less about the money which is unusual when travelling in the US.

- Candace (10/5): Charming and spacious - We had an amazing suite with 2 rooms, each with a king size beds. There was a sitting room and in one and a big windiw with a window seat. Every day they had delicious fresh baked goodies at the front desk. It was about 6 blocks from the main crush of shops and people, so more peaceful. We loved it!

Clean modern bathroom with great hot shower. Functional kitchen. Breakfast was just yogurt, pastries, instant oats and coffee. Nothing. Everything was great.

Super friendly and helpful with all suggestions for things to do, places to eat and sites - The location was perfectly located on the main strip of Bar Harbor and only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park! Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Was a let down from what we expected it to be. - Good location Pictures didn’t show how the rooms actually were. You think you’re getting one thing but it’s another. Had to ask for room service. I wish I could remember her name, but she checked us in an night and made blondies - they were amazing! Absolutely would stay here again and recommend anyone else as well. Its further down from the busy area which is nice and quiet.

There wasn't a closet, just 4 hooks to hang clothes, and a very small dresser. There was no table or desk, and just a small, uncomfortable chair. The bathroom sink had very little space for toiletries. Breakfast was just pastries, instant oatmeal, yogurt, and juices/coffee/tea.

I enjoyed my stay very much. This is a common issue and very minor in the grand scheme of things, but for a person that sleeps on his side, the pillows were too bulky. As I said. A small matter.

- 536aqsak (10/5): A Charming Hidden Gem Right in the Heart of Bar Harbor - Don’t let the unassuming name fool you — Little Fig Hotel is one of those places you stumble upon and immediately feel like you’ve discovered a secret. Tucked right in the middle of town, it somehow manages to feel like a cozy retreat despite being steps from everything Bar Harbor has to offer. The aesthetics are absolutely adorable — think thoughtful, curated decor with a warm, whimsical charm that makes you want to linger. Our two king bedrooms were spotless, the bedding was soft and luxurious, and every little detail in the room felt intentional. It’s the kind of place that actually looks better in person than in photos. What really sets Little Fig apart is the hospitality. Kina was an absolute gem — genuinely welcoming, on top of keeping everything immaculate and organized, and just one of those people who makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a booking. The lobby snacks available all day long were a lovely touch, but the homemade blondies and brownies? Those were legendary. We may have gone back for seconds… okay, thirds. Breakfast is continental, so if you’re expecting a hot spread, adjust your expectations — but honestly, with snacks that good available throughout the day, it was hard to complain. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect stay was the street noise — the sound of trucks and cars through the night was noticeable. That said, after long days hiking through Acadia, we were tired enough that it barely slowed us down. Would absolutely stay here again. If you’re heading to Bar Harbor and want somewhere charming, clean, and full of heart — book Little Fig before someone else snags it! 🌿

The restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Kina (hope I spelled it correctly)at the front desk was super nice and if you are lucky enough to be there on a day she baked her blondies then consider yourself lucky bc they are delicious. I would definitely stay there again. Also, Highly recommend going to see the Sunrise on Cadillac Mountain.

Our room had 2 nice queen beds and was very spacious. They provided an assortment of drinks and goodies through out the stay. Probably some of the best caramel brownies I’ve ever eaten. Everyone there was super nice and helpful when we asked where we should dine. ( the island was “ closed for the season”. KINA, at the front was so much fun and very welcoming. She was very friendly, probably the friendliest person in Bar Harbor ( maybe in Maine?). Not sure I’ll ever make it back there, especially in the winter 🥶… but highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfy homey stay.

- U621QHmr (10/5): You can’t beat Little Fig - The Little Fig is a Bar Harbor treasure. We stay there whenever we come to the area - we couldn’t hope for more. Sarah and the other front desk staff were kind and helpful (and fun to chat with). The rooms are lovely and the mini fridge and microwave come in handy. It is quiet and clean and the fresh baked goods are the cherry on top!

Wasser, Saft, Kaffee und Snacks sind 24 h kostenlos im Hotel zugänglich. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und man kann alles fußläufig von dort erreichen. Ein Aufzug wäre hilfreich, wenn man schweres Gepäck hat.

The brownies that are available at the front desk are to die for!! We had about 4 of them during our stay! 100% recommend this place. Our little cottage was clean and cozy, perfect for this time of the year.

- mreadkc (10/5): Outstanding Hotel Minutes from Acadia National Park - My husband and I spent three nights at the Little Fig Hotel in Bar Harbor, and we couldn’t have been happier. Our room (313) was spacious, with two sitting areas, super clean, and looked like it had been recently updated. It had all the amenities we needed including a small fridge and microwave. We really appreciated the grab-and-go drinks/snacks/breakfast and the baked goods every night were a nice touch. What really made the Little Fig special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, but Kina stood out. She was super helpful and had a great sense of humor. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and welcoming hotel that’s an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a short drive to Acadia National Park, we highly recommend Little Fig.

- Kleo17 (9/5): Home away from home in Bar Harbor - We stayed at the Little Fig hotel for a week in October and loved the place. Cute, quaint and very conveniently located, it is a quick drive to Acadia park, a quick walk to Main street and the pier, and right next to an excellent breakfast place (Jordan restaurant) and lunch place (Aloha). Not that we needed a breakfast place - the breakfast served in the lobby was fully sufficient and we greatly appreciated the round-the-clock availability of tea, coffee, water, juices, yogurts and a great selection of granola bars perfect for hikes. In the afternoons the staff also served baked goodies, from baklava to blueberry bread, some of them made by staff members - we loved the brownies made by Kina! She and other members of the staff were always there to help, answer questions and chat and we always felt very welcome. Our room did not have a closet with hangers but had plenty of drawers and our special request for an extra cot was immediately accommodated. A perfect stay! Nothing. Everything was great!

- I8817CUjohnr (10/5): The Perfect Fall Getaway - My wife, parents, and I had the most beautiful fall getaway in Bar Harbor at Little Fig! The hotel has a perfect location with lovely furnishes and a conveniently included breakfast. It is quaint and has all the character you hope for when booking this kind of location. To make things even better, the staff are personable, helpful, and genuinely kind. We had a great experience with Sarah, Malcom, Skye, and Kina with special conversations in particular with Skye and Kina. We are so grateful that we booked this location for a family vacation and cannot recommend it more highly. It is everything someone might want with a phenomenal team in place to put things over the top in terms of experiences.
- KaitlinC110 (8/5): Charming & Spacious. A hotel I would return to! - The Little Fig was such a charming hotel. The rooms were surprisingly spacious. We had everything we needed and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast snacks. Kiana (one of the front desk gals) was so friendly and helpful and she baked homemade treats everyday which was always a treat to come home to. Great location as well.
- cgc1200 (8/5): Amazing location, modest amenities - The room was clean with a very cute welcome gift of local Bar Harbor goodies. The welcome desk and staff were cute and kind, and you can't beat being walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor. Overall felt very safe. That being said, the bed was small and less comfortable, and we could hear every move of our neighbors. It seems like Bar Harbor is just pricey, but it was a steep price for an otherwise pretty modest stay.

Clean room with a very nice "welcome basket" with Bar Harbor/Maine snacks, and the property felt very safe. Lobby was cute with very kind and helpful staff. Bed was small and not very comfortable. Pretty thin walls/could hear every step, flush, etc. of the neighboring rooms. Felt like a steep price for pretty modest accomodations.

- Virginia (10/5): This was the best way to spend 4 days in Bar Harbor! - We loved that, although it was right downtown, it was quiet. The room had beautiful, big windows that brought in light and views. The bed was super comfortable, the food they provided was excellent. They provided all the coffee one could want. Kina and Malcolm were so friendly and accommodating. I would stay here any time. At first, I thought it was too expensive, but the experience was worth every penny! Nothing!
