- Patrick (8/5): Pleasurable - The room was nice and clean the staff was very friendly and happy and helpful the breakfast was good for the price great as it came with breakfast and the parking for your vehicle was out side your room so I could keep an eye on my motorbike I will stay again if I come back to town very happy

- Bruce (1/5): Not happy Jan - Not much at all The managers attitude, the fact that the room allocated to me had not been cleaned but she had closed the reception early to go out for dinner really made me feel like I had spoiled her evening. The fact that another guest had the same problem makes one wonder how the establishment runs. Will never be staying here again.photos attached to this report are of the original room allocated. There was also no milk provided for the tea/coffee in my replacement room.

- Rodney (9/5): - Nice motel, friendly and helpful owner, easy check in process, great value for money and included breakfast, free WiFi, comfortable and clean room, convenient location. I would definitely stay again. Loud people in the room next door brought their chairs outside and had a loud gathering with another guest, right outside my door, for about 3 hours, before going to the pub and making noise again, when they came back. It's the only reason I'm rating my stay a 9, not a 10. (Not the motel's fault, of course).

- Brianna (8/5): Impressed for a nightstay - As a stop in and needing sleep, this was perfect. Clean. Comfy. Warm as it was getting cold outside for me. Breakfast and coffee in the morning included. Cannot fault this at all. Parking in provided, but cars were in my rooms spot so dont know if that would be an issue if a full house, but I must say the front area has parking on gravel along the main road

- Bernadette (8/5): Great place for what I needed for a sports tournament. Close to everything. - Fantastic staff that would do anything for you. Location was perfect for sports centre. Dated interiors.
- BRIGID CULLEN-WARD (7/5): A pleasant budget friendly stay with very accommodating staff and clean rooms. - Very accommodating reception staff. Although rooms are a bit dated and basic., they were very clean and comfortable. Price for simple accommodation without paying for all the ‘bells & whistles’ was excellent. Overall, the property is well kept and visually pleasant and only a few minutes drive into town. The main downside was noise from adjoining rooms - mainly the plumbing ie sound of what could be the hot water system & showers/taps running. Although this didn’t keep me awake all night I would suggest bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the addition of simple hot food offerings to the breakfast spread ie eggs, beans, bacon would be nice but in saying that, what is currently on offer as part of the accommodation price is adequate enough to get you started for the day.

Well after being told breakfast was only from 0800am not 0700 over the long weekend ...it was not accessible on our first morning at all. At least 6 of us were waiting. No response to intercom no response to mobile number. We had to make other arrangements for breakfast. Room not serviced nor any attempt at service I assume if we had needed that it may have been sorted.

The lady at reception was friendly. I was only there for 1 night and i was by myself so the tiny room suited me just fine but I would probably start feeling a bit claustrophobic after a few nights or if another person was staying with me.

We had to keep the door closed and even this did not keep out the smell of smoke.

Rooms are comfortable and the flat one level access was great for my elderly mum who is vision impaired - hence why I chose the location. The breakfast room is well laid out & stocked, The Female on check in was terribly presented & highly unprofessional - clearly had a rough day & wasn't shy in sharing her frustration. We were told the property has no hot water and nil estimated time for a resolution for that. Less that an ideal when after a long day at AELEC all we wanted was hot showers & a change of clothing. We have stayed at this location before in a Quad Room. I deliberately booked the same Quad Room to allow for my family to be accommodated together with room even if that meant paying extra. . When we entered our room it was just 2 single beds which meant we had no room for my daughter - again was happy to pay extra for that layout. On returning to reception I was informed - despite showing my booking receipt that no Quad were available & was forced to book an additional Queen Room at $110 - pushing the total cost to $250 with no hot water??? For that price I would have chosen a higher rated facility with a more appropriate layout. This mean I had to split the party. I am a full time Carer for my elderly Mother who is vision impaired - she has to stay separately with no overnight supervision which presented a huge safety risk & made for a very stressful stay. Hot Water was returned on the Saturday evening which meant I could assist with showering Mum but was out of order on the Sunday morning again. Would not recommend and will not return despite the convenience of the location to AELEC Highly disappointed and out of pocket

This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has completely eroded my trust in Booking.com. I will not be using or recommending Booking.com again. When I arrived to check in, I was extremely frustrated to be told that there was no booking and no room available, despite Booking.com already taking my money. This situation is completely unacceptable. I paid $170 for accommodation that did not exist and was left with no room on arrival. I am demanding a full refund of the $170 immediately. Outside access for the wheelchair was easy due to the various ramps to the units From a telephone call stated a friend was visiting us in a wheelchair, we would be spending much of our time at the motel. Told access would be easy, as all rooms were on the ground floor, true But to get her to the bathroom, we had to take out the table, two chairs and swing the bed around. As our friend cannot walk, we needed to get the wheelchair close to the bathroom That was disappointing, however we did return all furniture to its original position.
