The hotel truly impressed us with its affordability without compromising on comfort. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a family stay. What stood out most was the courteous and helpful staff who made sure we felt at home throughout our visit. It’s an ideal choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and welcoming place near the airport. Highly recommended!

The reception first misled by providing a smaller dirty room than what was booked. When challenged, they changed to a different room. Still opted to checkout without refund offered. Dirty both hotel n looks like oyo type activity goes on there. Not for families. • rinkud550 (2/5): BE CAREFUL! - BE CAREFUL! This hotel is possibly running a shady scheme of using their good reviews to have customers book a room with them, but on check-in, they direct guests to one of their other hotels under the same management. Some of these other hotels are in quite bad shape, and people would not usually book with them. This happened to us, and we were sent to Hotel Devrana; then during checkout we found another pair of customers that were sent there from Hotel Chanakya's check-in desk. So, they do this regularly and run their entire hotel chain business off of some good reviews for one hotel.
• alanfQ3934BV (2/5): Trying to scam people - Please be careful!! These guys are bad guys at this hotel. I made a booking at Kian Hotel which is joined to this hotel. Upon arrival in my taxi, I was greeted and upon showing my reservation for Kian Hotel I was escorted inside and was told that I must pay for the booking which didn't seem odd as it did say that on my Kian reservation. It was only when I checked my agoda account, when I saw my reservation for Kian had been cancelled, I questioned this at reception where the guy that checked me in began to look a big sheepish. At this point I knew there was something wrong. I went next door, to which I thought was the same Hotel, to question this and the kind Lady at Kian hotel told me that I will be charged for not arriving, when in fact I did but from this scamming hotel next door. I brought this up again at reception and the manager who checked me in (with my Kian hotel reservation) was like it didn't matter that he had try to scam me and told me not to worry as Koan wouldn't charge me for no show, when in fact they have. I understand that this is basic accommodation here but is terrible compared to the hotel I was supposed to stay in. Sheets dirty, I saw kitchen guy climb over breakfast buffet table putting his dirty shoes on the same table they are serving food. Also phone doesn't work in room, ac sometimes works. Bayhroom Sink has a leak on the outlet so used water goes straight on bathroom floor. Please be careful if you decide to stay here.

• Amit2451 (2/5): Don't book room in this hotel - Worst hotel ever. Very rude and abusive staff. Don't book room in this hotel. They will not provide even basic room amenities and will go to the extent to fight with you if you will ask for amenities.
• Kevin (10/5): - The staff was very helpful from the time 6i arrived, and for the modest price, the hotel more than met expectations. They even have an elevator, which is not usually the case in budget hotels. The room was cleaned, the place *did not* smell like smoke, the only noise came from the road, which costs a lot more to get away from near Aerocity, and the white noise of the fan and air conditioner (which kept the room very cool) drowned out most outside noise. I would definitely stay here again on a stop to and from the airport. They were very accommodating, and for the price and location it is a very acceptable value. You are 10m walk from Delhi Metro Aerocity station, and all the amenities around there - not to mention streets and neighborhoods full of great food surrounding. If it's your first visit to India and you're expecting a $100 hotel for $15, do not book and then complain later, this is part of why it's difficult to find options as a foreigner. However, if you're realistic and fair about value, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Mr. Sujay and everyone!

The taste was really authentic and filling. Thanks to Mr. Roshan for great and prompt service. I would definitely recommend the hotel and Ustaad's food to everyone.
• JohnLocke73 (2/5): Do not stay here - This hotel is horrible. Don't ever stay in this place. The rooms are unclean. Bedsheets were dirty and had hairs on them. The bathrooms are soo dirty that you will probably prefer to hold bodily functions until you leave this hotel. The hotel staff is rude and unprofessional. The room service is painfully slow - in bringing the food that is horrible in taste and overpriced. I booked this hotel through Make my Trip and my stay in this hotel was soo bad that I have decided to never again book a hotel through MMT. I am so annoyed with MMT, that they would even list such a horrible hotel for booking.

Food was Very good , Room & Washroom are clean with Gyser facility .Stand on a Proximity of within 500M from Delhi Aerocity Metro station. Paid Taxi service is also available for Early Flight boarding.
• amanami (4/5): Bad attitude, worse service. - I was in delhi for an extensive workshop that would start from 9am till 10pm. So my requirements were extremely basic. Well made clean bed, clean toilet, hot water and well functioning ac. I wasnt looking for exceptional service, tasty food, ambience... So despite reading all the bad reviews and the copy paste replies that includes a standard line which says that these are not their usual standard, we went ahead and booked 2 rooms for ourselves. 1) In terms of accessibility, the location is good but in terms of standards, it is quite shady. 2) The sheets were dirty and looked liked they were not being changed. So got the housekeeping to change it. Anil from housekeeping was the only staff with a smile. The rest were hired from an anger therapy centre. 3) the air conditioning control is with the reception staff which they switch off at their whim and fancy. So when you wake up sweating and fuming, you need to call reception. 4) The staff will hand over a bottle of water to each room and you will surely think that it is complimentary but at the time of checkout, you will be charged 33rs for the same. It is not about the money, it is the intention. 5) the biggest bullies are the ones at the reception. The female staff included. 6) our flight was delayed from 3pm to 8pm so we asked for an extension of 3 hrs. The night staff clearly said that we could for an additional charge of Rs500. The staff that came in the morning asked us to check out. When we told them about extending the stay, they increased the price by another 500. When we tried reasoning out, we were told very blatantly that their staff are not liars which was a direct implication that we were the ones lying. It just left a very bitter taste in our mouths which they later realised would backfire... so at the time of checkout, they wanted to give us back the money for the extension and told us to write a good review, which We refused. It would be unfair and unethical to accept the money and still write about our horrible experience though our real time at the hotel was only to sleep and freshen up. My advice would be for you to land and then look for hotels as the entire street which is about a 6kms stretch has a lot of options.
• nilesh_nagar (10/5): Decent & value for money - Walking distance from aerocity metro close to the airport and public transport. Decent price and hotel. Value for money. Staff is happy to help. I had no problem staying here. Not visible from the main road but board is visible so locating hotel is not an issue. Parking is a problem but hotel staff will arrange it on request.
• Rahul (2/5): - 10pm from airport. They copied my passport and made me sign in their book and then told me that suite wasn’t available and told me to go to hotel next door Hotel Kian. Hotel Kians most expensive room was less than $20 and nasty. He said my choice was to take that room or contact Expedia as I paid through them. After 15 hours of flight, I had no time to deal with someone at customer service. So ended up being at hotel next door. I asked to see manager next day and asked to see what can be done and they said there is nothing they can do. Do not pay more than $15 for Hotel Chanakya Airport Delhi. By the way. There is no hot water. Other reviews seem like they hired someone to write reviews.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty, smelly room. - Check in process was ok but the room was horrible. Everything about the room appeared dirty, especially the bathroom, which had a horrible smell. The shower was between the toilet and the sink and had no separate area or shower curtain. For two people, staying one night, we were only provided with 1 towel and a 1/4 roll of toilet paper. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I ordered something and something else arrived (ordered continental breakfast as per the menu; got only bread-omlette of roadside-stall type) although the menu contained lots of good things. Also, the staff seemed uninterested in their dealing with guests.

One of our neighbor complained about the hygiene and employees behavior. Floor was not clean enough that we can remove or shoes.

The room given to be was perfect in every sense whether it was the bed or the amenities everything was in order and worked to perfection. The only trouble is that the area around the hotel does not offer much entertainment options. The place is good for a short stay and interim stop before your next flight.

Staff was very well trained and were good with english too. They also provided us with good hints about worthwhile places to visit. Breakfast was very good, nothing extraordinary but variety and quality was above expectations.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Shambolic hotel! - Arrived at the hotel very late after long flight at 4am ish, got to the front desk where a man told us we wouldn't be staying there but in the "other part" of the hotel. After a fair walk through a couple car parks and back allies we arrived at a completely different hotel to the one we had booked and handed over to different staff. At this new hotel we where shown to a room with one bed when we had paid for 2 and had few of the facitlites listed in our booking. After challenging this we where told our only other option would be to walk back to the original hotel to enquire but by this time an hour or so had gone since we arrived so we took our single bed. Very bad experiance overall.

This discouraged me to come down to be familiar with the area.Had to call three times to pickup my luggage at check out.Staff is courteous but looks not well trained. Three or four people keep staring at you at the reception desk. Hotel is in dirty lane with lot of rush.Will not recommend .
• deandre (4/5): I wouldn't stay here again. - The manager of this hotel needs some training on how to deal with customers, he literally made my rating go from a 4 to a 2. He will literally try to squeeze every penny he can out of you before you leave. I booked a tour through the hotel and they told me parking, toll, and guide fees would be included, but whenever we went anywhere the driver would asking for parking, toll , and guide fees. We would book taxis through the hotel also at a fee that's expensive compared to what other hotels in the area charged, we found before we left. If you book here it's a cheap option just use the room don't take any other service they have.

They offered to move us to airport link hotel for a day when we complained. Gave us a better room 2nd day but it was still very unclean. Wifi was flaky, no heater , hot water barely available. Its a huge rip off.

The location is the best as it is located next to the airport which makes it convenient everytime I travel to Delhi. They also provide heaters with makes your stay even more comfotable during the Delhi winters.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Needs a feminine touch - The lobby had a smashed glass window, so the first impression was poor. My room was located above a noisy alley and next to the staircase. The comforter had permanent stains on it. The tv volume was on loud and couldn't be decreased. No complimentary water. Wifi was good. When I requested a taxi, it was prepaid, I think too much for 6 km to the airport, two hundred rupees. I had to ask for an itemized receipt after paying with a credit card. It would be ok if staff was better trained to be sensitive to single female travellers and had better quality control in room maintenance.
• Verified traveler (10/5): In & out stay - If you want to spend a night to get over your jetlag or wait out for your next flight while killing the time in a nice and comfortable place then you can head to this place and can leave without having to burn a huge hole in your pocket. There is nothing fancy to the hotel and I found it to be just like any other transit place accommodation. No complains for either the rooms or the service. It worked fine enough for me to have a peaceful and complete rest enough to catch my next flight.
• Richard (10/5): Clean hotel with very good rooms. - I just stayed there for one night.. so it was pretty nice, no disturbance, clean rooms, bathrooms and a cozy bed. Overall a very good experience and I'll be staying there again for sure when I'm in Delhi.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Location is perfect !! - It’s a 5-minute drive from Indira Gandhi International Airport and offers free WiFi. The rooms are nice and comfortable perfect for the short stay intended and the staff support is great at the place and the fact that the location is close to the airport makes it perfect for a transit traveler !!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Clean hotel and rooms. - The best part of the stay at the place apart from the location was the cleanliness factor and I was thoroughly impressed. It was a short stay and gave everything that was perfect for stay right from the clean and comfortable rooms to the perfect staff service and the food. It Is highly recommended.
