Guest Reviews
- Steve (7/5): Nice, convenient, I'd do it again - I like the friendly staff. I like the proximity to the events price changes day-to-day
- Michael (8/5): - check-in was easy, room amenities were nice, shower had nice hot water flow breakfast was a little sparse compared to other "continental" breakfasts
- Sharon (8/5): Great night sleep - I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The only thing I was missing was an outlet by the bed to plug in my phone. The bed was firm and the pillows were good. Very quiet. Was able to get a good cup of coffee and a Danish for breakfast.

- John (8/5): Affordable and clean motel 2 miles from Purdue and reliable Lyft seervice to Purdue by Foxies Lyft. - If visiting Purdue University the Prestige Inn is nice and very affordable budget motel. Also Foxies Lyft is a fantastic Lyft/Uber super reliable service to Purdue University Union Club Hotel. See Her [Stella from Foxies] facebook page.
Now, the room was clean and the heating system [March = winter] was excellent. The refrigerator was excellent. The motel TV met expectations. The breakfast was standard budget motel quality but the coffee, cereal, and juice were provided. The staff was responsive and available 24 hr per day. Next door was a Circle K for food and beverage. The charging outlets [only 2] were problematic and the plugs problematic. One was working of the two. Charge at Purdue University or on the Reindeer shuttle or in a Starbucks,... Tell the motel to check the outlet plugs.
- Jim (6/5): - Easy check in and out. Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. While the room was cleaned well, the furniture was old and had stains on it. The remote control for the tv didn't work--assuming the batteries were old. While a continental breakfast was provided, it was bare bones. Cereal, milk and orange juice.
- Hiromoto Shono (9/5): Great value - The location and the price. The lack of working outlets and AC/Heater noise.
- Adam (9/5): - Friendly staff, convenient location, good value.
- Shane (8/5): -
- Gerald (4/5): Too far off I65. Bathroom was gross. - Nothing We needed something off of I65. This property is 10 minutes off. Big open gap behind sink. Bathroom very cold. Breakfast was minimal.

- Jennifer (6/5): - PS not a luxury hotel, and outdated. The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, room was pretty clean, and the shower had hot water. This hotel worked perfectly for 1 night on a busy, crowded weekend. Needs updating.
- Sushant Kumar Shrivastava (8/5): - I would like to take your breakfast.
- Scott (8/5): -
- Brian (8/5): - I came from Chicago to see a football game, Prestige is closer than any other to the stadium (20 minutes walk or 6 minute drive) and the price is nice.
- arlene (6/5): The Air conditioning was good and we slept well. - there was no refrigerator in our room112.
- Christina (6/5): -
- Nadine (6/5): -
- Matt (5/5): OK - It was quiet. While some reviews mention it is an older motel, the advantage was it didn't have paper-thin walls like some newer hotels. Price was jacked up because there was a home football game at Purdue that weekend. I was just passing through and didn't have to stay in West Lafayette. If I would have realized the price was jacked when I made the reservation, I would have picked a nicer hotel in different town for the same price.
- Sameer Kumar (7/5): Decent for a single night stay - Only cold breakfast is available. This is a decent motel. If you go here without any expectations, you will like it. This is a decent hotel in a such a small town and is good for a night's stay. The bathrooms can be a little better and cleaner. It is manageable for a night's stay and quick stop.
- Muthu (1/5): pathetic - breakfast only has milk and juice. they call it as a breakfast. they will fool you. nothing to like.
- Hannah (5/5): -
- Louis (7/5): - Toilet was loose & bit rocky & looks like front end had cardboard used to prop it
- sharmila (7/5): safe and easy, would stay again - basic roadside motel not a standard hotel. simple cereal breakfast, clean room and toilet, plenty parking right outside front door, great location next to shops restaurants fuel local facilities, helpful friendly service. dining and reception area had no fresh air and smelled quite bad, double beds small for 3, bathroom door jammed.
- Nani (8/5): In all my experience at prestige inn was excellent. - Room is clean and generally in very good condition. Reception was also excellent. very open vicinity, not sure of the level of safety.
- Xinyi (8/5): It worth the money - Location is super convenienct. And car parking is easy. It is next to a gas station. Also all the basic things required is provided except for slipperies Breakfast is super simple, almost no proteins provided except milk. No slipperies provided. But due to the advantage of its price and location, it is still worth.

- arlene (6/5): -
- James (7/5): Good value not expensive - Inexpensive and good value The pillows
- Steven (7/5): This place is clean, cheap, and cheerful. - I appreciated the cleaning after one day, and the staff was nice. I wasn't aware if there was a breakfast included. I appreciated having a microwave, fridge, and TV. The rooms could use some updating (rusty scratches in tub enamel, very loose electrical outlets, dated tile in bathroom). The concrete outside the rooms was very cracked.
- Huiling (9/5): - 地理位置 环境都不错 早歺如果能有牛奶提供就更好了,房间没有牙刷可以理解,但没有拖鞋很不方便。还有卫生间提供的洗护用品,根本挤不出来,形同虚设
- Pravin (10/5): -
- John (4/5): - Clean bed at an affordable cost. Everything is outdated. Ice on walkways. Hard to get in and out on roadways.

- Yazmin (8/5): - La habitación muy limpia, organizada y cómoda. El precio comparado con la comodidad y limpieza está muy bien. Además, la climatización del cuarto muy bien. El desayuno es muy sencillo, todo es de paquete para comer.
- Jeremy (9/5): - The rooms were good size the staff was very friendly it's in a good location The toilet's too close to the wall
- Jeremy (8/5): -

- Patricia (10/5): - Very friendly. Very comfortable.
- Russ (6/5): Spartan, functional, needs a few small tweeks. Nice staff, clean, comfortable, great location. :) - Very clean, and nice Large bathroom. Old school, spartan, but all the essentials were there in the room. Reflected in the low price. We just left and had breakfast on the road. Nice staff, very friendly and courteous. There were three major functions going on in the area. Still reasonably priced for very busy Lafayette Friday night. Phones do not work, wanted to call the desk. Noisy, loud, crude, inconsiderate Neighbors, they also double parked, very loud. TV white noise drowned them out. Nice location, perfect for our needs. Breakfast was really poor. Reflected in the low price. We just left and had breakfast on the road. Beds were comfortable, sheets were a little small. Bedside, needs a little more lighting with charger bases both sides on a small nightstand.
- Kelly (7/5): Pleasant. - Staff was friendly and room was clean. No wifi that I could connect onto and no blankets on bed. Just a sheet and comforter and I never use hotel comforters.
- Paul (10/5): Good - Clean comfortable room. Near Purdue.
- Covenant (6/5): - The breakfast was so poor.Infact I will call it snacking.Remove the word "Continental " from it.Also the bed linen should be white or very light color that can eqsily reveal it cleanliness. Not very dark color that you cantvouch for its cleanliness.
The customer care is warm and courteous. Thanks
- Angela (10/5): Fantastic deal! - The room was very comfortable, clean, convenient, spacious. Big bathroom. We loved the heater in the bathroom, the closet and suitcase racks, had a table and chairs fridge. It was a great deal!
- Tim (8/5): - breakfast was okay
- Erik (8/5): - Good value. Website pics were deceptive. Clean rooms but outside was run down. Said it was a 6 minute walk to Purdue. More like 45
- Zerby (10/5): -
- Chelsea (8/5): - All the posts I read were true, it was a very dated motel, but the room was very clean. Not far from campus.
- Zerby (10/5): -
- Troy (7/5): Not bad for a motel. Definitely run down but pretty clean and that was main thing for us! - Close by Purdue Pillows were extremely thin so bring your own .
- Zerby (10/5): - Close to work.
- robb (8/5): - It was a good value for the weekend.
- Faith (10/5): - As expected. No frills but comfortable and very affordable.
- Michael (6/5): - The place was very clean, but was like a room preserved from the 1960's. The desk was not there for a nunber of times i came in
- Anne-Marie (8/5): Good stay, if you are alone or a couple. Too small for groups. - The room was ok, as well the easy check in. The breakfast room is too small for a group. No lounge area to sit.
- Ryan (10/5): - The staff member that greeted me was very nice. Fast and easy check in and easy to find room. Room is small, but clean and stocked up well enough. TV and air conditioning work great. Would stay again!
- Robert (10/5): - Great room for a low cost. Quick check-in and check-out.
- Lynne (8/5): - A very basic motel - old but clean. We were only there one night.
- Wilfred (10/5): - The owners were very accommodating and friendly. I stayed during a parents weekend at Purdue because they were the only hotel in the area that did not jack their rates up to gouge the parents. There are nicer hotels out there, but The Prestige Inn has earned my business by having honorable business practices.
- Christopher (7/5): -
- Timothy (3/5): Not happy - The second room that we were moved to was wonderful. Comfy and clean. The first of three nights was awful. We didn't realize it until we went to bed, which was around midnight, that we had bed bugs. We didn't stay the night in that room. The next day I told the office about it and took pictures to show them, I asked for a different room and they tried to get me to downgrade from my king room to a queen room and not pay the different since the queen room was cheaper. I said no, and after trying to tell me they didn't have any more king rooms available, they gave me a king room.... Really?? They already tried screwing me out of money by asking me to downgrade, then lie and say that the only room they could give me was a queen? We won't be staying here again, and we stay there often with no problems. Check for bed bugs if you choose to stay here and don't expect a refund if it happens to you. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.
- Zhengang (6/5): - the rooms are old apartment, good for me to have a sleep, but kid thinks too shabby, and do not like to stay. It is during the high time, not much options available, and the price is reasonable. So I do not want to complain. Just a motel
- PRAMOD (2/5): - This place is really bad with really bad customer service and needs to be shut down. I paid a lot on a parents weekend and was surprised to see most of the inn empty and I realized why the moment I stepped in. Strong cleaning agent smells a long with mushy smell made it hard to breathe. I went to the fron office and after ringing multiple times no one shows up. As I was driving off I saw the lady come out. So I told her about the smell and she came and said there is no smell. I told her it's a strong phenyl smell and she lies saying we don't use phenyl. I asked her for another room and she lies saying it's all booked.
I went to the website and saw rooms were still available.
The room has no power outlet next to bed to charge your phone. The hot water pipes are exposed in the closet. The ac/heater has no temp control so you will be very hot or cold if you use it.
Please don't stay here and sleep in your car if you have to.
- Eric (6/5): - This is a situation of getting what you pay for relatively speaking because area hotels are really gouging during university events. Motel is clean but really dated to 70s or before. It’s remarkable it’s still there. Only real complaint is the AC unit is so loud that you have a choice of comfortable temperature or being able to hear anything. However as the walls are thin that was actually ok at times. You’re staying here because nothing else is available or you just can’t justify a $600 Hampton stay.
- Mike (8/5): - was a nice simple room
- San-Yih (8/5): - We left an USB in the room. The host gave us a call to get it back. It is impressive he is responsible.
- James (8/5): -
- Christopher (3/5): Room needs a lot of maintenance and would not pass city inspection - Staff was nice. Good location Microwave plug wasn’t long enough to reach outlet. Electrical hazard in the bathroom. Sunk was too small for the vanity so there is a large gap. Large hole in the closet wall. Stains on carpet
- Jonathon (2/5): - I arrived at 9:55pm and there was a sign in the door that said "be back after 9:30p" the door was locked and nobody would answer the phone
- Tirumaleswararao (6/5): - It was ok for the price we paid. However, breakfast was total trap (just some milk and cereals). Doesn't get clean feeling.
- Daniel (10/5): - I liked the cable TV options and the shower/toiletries
- Katarzyna (9/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Amy (7/5): Good value - Very clean and close to Purdue Nothing
- Bimal (8/5): -
- Yanhui (6/5): Quiet, utlities kind of old. - The flexibity to change the duration of my stay is greatly appreicated. The room is clean in overall, but the faucet head is broken.
- Sachin (8/5): - Given the cost and the quality of this motel exceeded expectations when compared with other motel I stayed in. Room was clean and bathroom/toilet fittings were in good condition. Only issue was the cleanliness of the air conditioner that puffed out a dust cloud when I started it. Need to get those cleaned to prevent dust allergy
- Hayato (4/5): - First, I was shocked when I saw this place. Looked like an old motel. Not what I expected from the photos and reviews. As soon as I opened the door, I smelled typical cheap old motel which I thought I have avoided of reserving. I would have paid more to stay in 'hotel'. The electrical cords are thru open holes in the walls. Exposed plumbing pipes in the closet w/ no doors. The holes in the walls are not sealed. Shouldn't have fire rated seals in wall between the units? The bath tub was nasty so I took a shower at the next stay in a budget hotel which was much nicer and clean. The sink and toilet were okay. The AC worked but thermostat wasn't working. At least we had 'cool' air. One of the chair was broken. The firmness of the bed was fine. The internet was slow so I had to use my hotspot from my phone. I don't know why this motel has better than average rating.
