Guest Reviews
- Sharon (1/5): - Nothing Everything it was absolutely filthy
- Nicholas (1/5): Never again!!! - Location. Owner very helpful and polite Smelt of cigarettes badly. Run down, dirty, beds dirty floor boards in room loose. Shower unusable as temperature full hot or stone cold. Carpets on stairs have dangerous holes in them.
- Anthony (1/5): Dirty, smelled of smoke, dogs barking - Nothing Everything, firstly we booked for 2 nights, 2 rooms, we left after 30 mins, dirty, loud, nothing like any picture, kicked in doors, bust tvs, dirty carpets that we wouldn't let our 3yo take her shoes off, smelled of smoke, seriously don't take kids here, I asked for refund as we was there for less than an hour, and nothing... I'd be embarrassed to say the least, I understand it's a cheap place for people to just sleep, but the mattresses didn't fit any of the beds, they're were faeces in the toilet that hasn't been flushed so obviously not cleaned from the last people in that room, they're eyes some old guy coughing his guts up constantly that sounded like he was just outside the window, but he was in competition with the 3 barking dogs, one was a large one judging by the bark, they seem to all join in Barking every 5 mins, I could go on and on, but what's the point, the pictures tell the story but unfortunately I can only post 4 I took 23.

- Jamie (6/5): Great value for money for somewhere to sleep. - Bathroom was modern and clean, close to South Pier and Pleasure Beach, nice takeaway nearby, close to shops if you needed anything (Premier down the road), car parking nearby (in short, in a good location). TV had a firestick so could watch Netflix and iPlayer. Mattresses were uncomfortable, wallpaper in the room was ripped.
- MA 60 JAGUAR (10/5): - Nice staff pleasent room.
- Kimberley (7/5): - Good value for money friendly staff. feel springs in double bed and bunk bed was metal so everytime someone moved u could here it
- Rafael P Comino (6/5): - Conveniently located, near shops, pier, promenade.
Great value for money. Flushing system a little noisy.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Very friendly hosast, kids loved it! Nothing
- Purtova (8/5): -
- Chloe (2/5): Just don’t bother - Nothing Creepy atmosphere and toilet sounded like a jet engine not only that but the ceiling was covered in mold and the bed was a spring mattress also gave us a room on the top floor up 3 flights of stairs
- Donal (1/5): It was a very bed place I stayed in lovely hotels in Blackpool this place should b closed down do not stay hear - Nothing the beds were full of bed bugs The smell of mold
- sarah (10/5): -
- Janine (10/5): We booked again - Bed was comfortable! Staff were friendly and didn’t Harass just left us to do as we pleased we had a key for entry so property was secure also price was wxtreamly cheap we have booked to come back The head board in room 8
- kimberley (1/5): -
- Amanda (7/5): convenient, warm & secure - canny room for us as a family of 5,
kids all slept well were warm & comfortable
we will be back for december for the illuminations for me personally the matress was too hard on the double bed and the stair carpet could do with being replaced
- Dionne (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🤢 PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN, WOULDN'T PUT A STRAY ANIMAL IN IT NEVER MIND A HUMAN 🤷 - If i could give it a zero I would, the place was an absolute black, mocking, stinking, manky s*******e that should be shut down & both the owner & woman that run it should be absolutely disgusted with themselves. Place was stinking of fags even tho its a no smoking hotel & also stale pee but im guessing that was from the old scabby stinking mattress that was down in the actual lobby, apart from check in we never seen a single person apart from the 1 time I buzzed for them. The room was infested with bedbugs to the point me, my partner & 4 year old daughter packed up & left about 3am & slept in the car on night 3 in a carpark at the end of the road in the wild wind & torrential rain (thankfully the car has heating so we werent left cold) cause I couldn't watch anymore of the horrible wee creatures crawling all over the beds, curtains, carpets, walls & even on the toilet floor but the final straw was when I seen one crawling next to my daughters foot. Spoke to booking.com at 2am the morning it happened to get another accommodation but that was an awful carry on even tho i explained the whole situation to them 3 times & they knew we were in the car with our 4 year old, I've still not heard back from booking.com or the hotel.
Updated with pictures to show the infestation which btw takes week - months to happen & not just 3 days, we did also try contacting the hotel along with booking.com & they have been ignoring both of us (pictures of booking. Literally everything, the only thing the place is fit for is being knocked to the ground.
- Calvin (1/5): -
- Katrina (10/5): - The lady was really friendly and she was nice and polite
- Becky (1/5): Terrible. - N/A We were unable to stay due to the condition of the room. I myself am really not fussy with hotels. I will stay anywhere on the basis it’s just a place to rest for your head for the night! The room was abysmal. Dirty, small, broken furniture, unable to close the window. When we raised our concerns and advised staff we would not be saying we were offered no sort of refund/compensation- despite the fact of travelling with 2 young children.
- Jade (7/5): -
- Samantha (10/5): Nice comfy warm and staff where very welcoming - Nice and clean the staff was fab I had no dislikes
- Mark (10/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): Tv doesn’t work but would say again - Good location Staff very friendly
- Shirley (10/5): Excellent would stay again - Brilliant staff very welcoming Location wasn't great for me but I decided to stay there knowing this
- Katey (7/5): Was an alright stay , would stay again :) - Lady at the front was really lovely !! Toilets were very loud and the beds wasn’t overly comfortable
- Leah (1/5): Shite - N/A Last minute Annie’s and very unhelpful
- Jade (10/5): It was a nice stay. Nothing bad to say. Very good thank you. Would stay again - Spacious room. Ideal for a family of 4. Two children ages 1 & 2
- Edward (7/5): - Good location The steps
- ian (8/5): -
- stephen (6/5): Bargain - Lots better than we expected for the amount we paid Room warm nice shower
- Stefanie (8/5): Loved it and will be back ❤️ - Massive rooms and very comfy beds ❤️ It was a bit chilly ❤️
- Keith (1/5): - The staff where nice after fixing a problem with our room The room was dirty stains on bed and wall and hole in sheet and pillow wasn't worth the money
- Martyn (10/5): Excellent - Short notice booking , couldn't have been more pleased with how helpful they were
- Graham (1/5): Bad especially as they knew about infestation - Location Bed bugs
Prevalent
- Deborah (6/5): -
- Brave Allasty (5/5): Passable - Close to the pleasure beach and easy to find. Could be better if the owners could ensure the room is well cleaned before the next occupant, toilet rolls or shower gels etc available, clean tea cups, kettle. Otherwise close to main attractions.
- Simone (2/5): - As soon as we walked in all i could smell was dogs, they live in the property. The decor was really run down n tired, holes in carpet and damaged doors, walls. The bedroom was not great, we had to put towels over the pillows as the smelt n my children struggled with this. The tv didnt work, wifi didnt work the windows were all taped up with brown tape and the property had damp patches from rain/water damage. However, theres a number of run down propertys in blackpool, we get what we pay for as they say...room was passable for what we paid.
- Katarna (8/5): -
- Kelly (5/5): Great location - Location , friendly owner When anyone flushed the toilet in the building it would make a really loud noise , definitely needs a plumber in to take a look . Smells of smoking really bad .
- Newton (10/5): - We loved everything staff so friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and friendly warm. The effect went in to mske us welcome was 100% special were inreacte with kids has well. Everything
- Smith (8/5): -
- Leoni (1/5): Disappointing & unhygienic. I would avoid completely. - Location was perfect and the staff were friendly. This is the only positive. Room wasn’t ready on time, bunk beds had been repaired with other bits of wood, we were told more had been ordered but had yet to arrive. The whole room was in need of tlc.
The worse part…. The room was completely infested with bed bugs. The woman at the property admitted this after we told them. We were told the room was sprayed the Monday before our stay. The bugs were huge, adult and the bunk beds showed huge infestation signs. We were immediately offered a refund but it was 11pm at night with 4 children & we had no option but to drive 2 hours home as we couldn’t find alternative accommodation due to the lateness and there was an event on in Blackpool. I am waiting to hear back from Booking.com, the accommodation & my insurance.
- Booth (1/5): Disgusting 🤢 - Nothing Where do I start, we was given a room that hadn't been cleaned because the cleaner was elsewhere but had no option but to go in a dirty room that smelt of smoke and dogs
There was mould in the rooms, there was dirty and dust everywhere kettle, bathroom, floors everywhere.
We had 2 rooms and the keys worked on both doors! I have a video of this!
The picture shows a bar and pool table this has now been changed to the owners living space full of dogs
A 1 star is being generous.
Husband was full of bites and son has been vomiting all day obviously cannot prove from here but the place needs shutting down
- Hannah (8/5): - Staff are so lovely and helpful.
- Kelly (7/5): Fab - Was in fab location with good prices, private bathroom and free wifi
- Tina (1/5): awful 🪳 - AVOID AT ALL COSTS🪳
both the owner & woman that run it should be absolutely disgusted with themselves. Place was stinking of fags even tho its a no smoking hotel & also stale pee we had 4 children and when we got bk after watching fireworks the bunk beds were absolutely crawling with bed bugs sheer filth went to complain and another lady had just been moved the same reasons bed bugs, and found in new room when booked on booking.com the reviews where ok wasn't expecting the ritz should ov looked on trip adviser first now after midnight stood on step ov bedbug central trying to contact booking.com searching for somewhere else to stay all fully booked for fireworks youngest child being 4 yrs old walking the streets in hope ov finding somewhere else no hope we had to get a taxi bk home having travelled by train costing us £220 getting home at 4am avoid at all costs honestly the place was closed down i did get a refund a wk later after 4 phone calls
- Sara (1/5): Avoid this hotel - Only the location The whole place was damp , not as advertised in the photos. Room wasn’t ready at 7.45pm when we arrived so had to go out straight away . Plumbing is noisy . Bathroom door stuck and was hard to open . Had to sleep in our clothes to try and keep warm. Window not fitted correctly . Electrical leads hanging . Stains on carpet , holes in stairs . No spoons with mismatched cups and kettle
- Dunn (7/5): - When flushing the toilet it made a loud sound afterwards and it went on for a little
- Stacey (8/5): - Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Location was good, good value for money Hotel needs a little update, and when flushing the toilet it was loud
- catherine (8/5): - Staff very helpful and very friendly. In a great location Quite dated however we didn't pay much and had everything we needed for a one night stay
- Ash (4/5): Cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for - Location was great right opposite south pier, hostess was friendly, welcoming and helpful, checking in & out very easy Room could do with a good scrub, especially the doors and a bit of fresh paint would make this place a lot more comfortable. Bedding smelt of cigarette smoke
- Mark (5/5): - Location, clean bedding and towels, very cheap Springy mattresses, ripped wallpaper, dirty carpets, dirty windows, loud toilets, no spoons for tea and coffee,
Signs of vermine in bathroom light fitting.
- Katy (10/5): -
- shannon (1/5): - Terrible. Got told light in room wasn’t working and could have a full refund , didn’t get told this until we got there. Never got a refund have asked multiple times. Now being ignored
- Iqbal (1/5): Bed bugs!!! - The location is the only thing that was good. It is very close to the south pier. Bed bugs haven!!! Do not book, it is disgusting. They were everywhere and it looks like the owners do not care. Go on trip advisor and you will see more people complain.
- Alan (1/5): Never again. - Only plus point was it was near the promenade. Hotel was filthy and needed a deep clean aswell as redecorating. Although hotel was supposed to be non smoking the whole place stank of smoke. Skirting boards and door facings were missing. Room window didn't properly close When we asked for towels the receptionist brought us a bundle of various sizes that didn't match and needed a good wash. Insects were in the shower which we didn't use and the fhe final straw was when my daughter was woken up by something crawling over her..We had no option but to leave early at 0400 hrs and won't be returning !!!
- Aiyshea Kirstie (10/5): - Very comfortable beds, lovely room and bathroom, very clean. N/A
- Waite (10/5): - Staff were lovely room was clean
- Lesley (1/5): Very poor - The area close to pleasure beach Bit smelly but for the price suppose it was ok sorry but when I seen the bedroom we just dropped our bags so the kids could get the fair. But when I got outside I decided I couldn't stay there it wasn't for me .I had .y pregnant daughter 2kids an 2 infants with me and I wasn't going to risk it we did get a message from the owner saying not to review the house as it was cheap but you still should have standards
- Bennett (10/5): -
- Glenn (3/5): -
- Beth (9/5): Good friendly cheap stay - Great location to the water park, one of the piers and theme park which are located with 10-15 min walk plus 2 carparks right next to the hotel also and good prices too with cctv cameras. A good walk to the main part of blackpool or a very short drive to the carpark. We was greeted straight away on arrival and was very nice and friendly. The room was perfect size for 2 adults and 4 kids . We didn't hear any noises either so was nice and quiet. Had everything we needed for our short stay No issues
- Wayne (1/5): Bed bugs - Nothing. Everything was bad Get given the room key, but the room wasn't done.
Rubbish all over room.
Hotel smelt like cigarette smoke throughout.
Bed bugs in beds
- Caroline (1/5): - The location You could smell smoke and dog wee as walking in. Stains all up the carpet stairs. In the room only 1 towel when went down to ask lady was on phone and held hand up for me to wait didn't get any extra towels in the end. Stains on walls and under the mattresses of the bunks was black mould. Inside kettle was black.
- Rebecca (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, pictures are very misleading. The room are nothing like to pictures - Only good thing was the location It states on all the doors and even the owner send no smoking, you have to go outside. As soon as you opened the front door and the door to your room you could smell stale old smoke and dried pet urine.
- Tracy (9/5): - Location was great , staff really friendly and helpful , very good value for money Needed bit of tlc
- Kerry (8/5): -
- Marie Pierre (7/5): Nuitée insolite - A côté de la plage.
Personnel sympathique et disponible.
Très bien pour une étape, une nuit de passage.
- Colin (1/5): Filthy and won’t be back. - The woman was pleasant enough when i spoke to her and the location was great. We have stayed there before 2 years ago and it was clean but this time the place was really rundown and filthy, we booked 2 rooms and the bunkbeds were all broken and really unsafe for my grandkids to sleep in, top bunk slats were hanging down there was a screw sticking out the ladder. One socket didn’t work and they knew about it and didn’t say anything but hadn’t fixed it, couldn’t use the light in the room that the kids were in as the light was flickering on the first night and still wasn’t fixed or even looked at on the 4th night also in the room the kids were in under the mattress had mouldy food that wasn’t seen until the last day when my daughter was making sure everything was packed.
- Roxanne (7/5): - Comfortable No bin in room
- Emily (9/5): Lovely hotel all u need for the weekend away - Perfect location staff lovely as always room
Just what u need for the weekend NA
- Julie (1/5): Don't part with your money - This looked like an ideal place for us all to stay overnight. Therefore, I booked online and paid straight away. 1 hour later, I received a text message from the owner, saying that the room was damaged and therefore not available !!! I still have not received a refund and don't know how long it will take. Booking.com has been great, to be honest. They helped us find another place and paid the difference in compensation luckily. Thanks guys Paid in full, no room available !!!!
- Tendai (5/5): -
- rebecca (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend as one member of party ended up with bedbugs and had to seek medical attention - Location Unclean
Carpets were not hoovered and dirty
DIY Bunkbeds
Linen old and very thin
- Ashleigh (7/5): Cheap & friendy - Close to the beach, shops and amusement at the south shore, staff very friendly and welcoming Pillows weren’t comfortable, was noisy at night when people flushed there toilets it made a loud noise other than that it was good
- Sandy1377 (3/5): - The room was warm The bathroom was full off long black hair beds mattresses of. The bottom bunk was lop sided at the bottom.
- ron (10/5): -
- Jason (7/5): Great for a short in a great area - Location price and lovely host Musky smell downstairs and although tidy everywhere needed a good wipe down
- Rachael (1/5): - The hotel cancelled on the day but I didn't see the text message until we were already in Blackpool because I was driving
- Alison (7/5): 3 nights - Room was a nice size and close to the sea Decor out dated could of been cleaner
- Jan (1/5): Smelly and uncomfortable. - The bathroom was clean. First of all they cancelled by text on the day but I never got the text. Turned up and advised was cancelled. Then they changed their mind and it free again. The room smelled of smoke. The bed was uncomfortable. Flat pillows. The stair carpet was threadbare and spindles thick with dust.
- Jessica (7/5): - Was very clean beds was nice Nothing everything was worth the price
- Louise (1/5): Hotel from Hell- AVOID, UNHABITABLE - Nothing , we walked in and saw room and left straight away. Disgusted. Hotel was filthy, room wasn't ready. From when we walked in it smelt of dog, stale fag's and drugs. Entrance was dirty and bits all over the floor. Room wasn't ready and lock was broke . Someone was coming to fix later. We were taken to the room upstairs on the right. It wasnt ready for check in, the lady told us she'd not cleaned yet and would have it ready in a couple of hours with the door fixed. The room was trashed. Faeces on a tissue on the floor, bits all over the floor , beds not made, stains on the mattresses and duvets. My family and I felt physically sick. We left straight away, took our luggage and walked out. My husband was sick outside on the pavement and my daughter was wretching. We were all in total shock. How they can call themselves a hotel is beyond me. It was unhygienic and a health hazard.
We went and booked into another hotel.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
- Liam (5/5): -
- Emma (6/5): Cheap and cheerful, just what we needed close to south pier - The beds were really comfy The bathroom floor wasn't very clean
- Kate (1/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Steph B (1/5): - The location The property was dirty, smelled highly of urine and when it didn't smell of urine it smelt of overpowering air freshener obviously used to cover the stench. The rooms were too hot and the radiators could not be turned down, dirty establishment, coffee facilities but no spoons. Very noisy, children got no sleep due to intoxicated, fighting residents. Constant noise through the night, and filthy residence. Would not recommend or return!
- stephanie (3/5): Passible - Staff kind friendly, allowed us to leave our items in room.bed was comfy pillows comfy, loud dog on entry. Safety was brilliant.bunk beds were good
Bathroom in 1 room gorgeous lords of space but shower very little Holes 🕳 in carpets and doors, big crack smashed window 🪟 on outside, as soon as I led in bed 3 bars collapsed so had to sleep otherwise, people smoking 🚬 weed when it clearly says no smoking, people talking on phones up snd down hallways, people tried I door, stains on beds and floor, but destination 2 far away.bunk beds cracked and felt unsafe, in our room 2nd room bathroom very very small toilet didn't stop flushing toilets for 10 min.
- clair (7/5): - Beds
Tea and coffee
Host
- Kinga (1/5): Bed bugs in room 3 - At first everything seemed nice and clean Bed bugs in the room. We only realised after we left as bed bugs bites don't show straight away.
- leedale (5/5): - Location was good I've stayed there 4 times and must say this was the worst room I've had by far
- Lilly (10/5): - Very nice place to stay me my husband and my 3 children enjoyed our stay our room was nice clean and big the owners made us feel welcomed very friendly, will definitely be coming again
- Brodrick (1/5): Can yelled with no notice on a busy weekend leaving us with nowhere to stay - Nothing. The room was cancelled with half an hour before checking in with no pre warning even though they were aware of the issue but didn't say anything because they 'thought' they could fix the appsrant broken toilet Everything about the experience was poor
- Mcleish (3/5): - The noise either side of us kids screaming nearly all night and we had a kid of three who kept in waking up because of the noise
- Linda (8/5): Perfect stay for the night as visiting family in lytham st Anne's - Location is brilliant for south shore room was value for money for our one night stay , did exactly what we needed for night , beds fine and bathroom really good , lovely lady very friendly met us and explained everything we needed to know Some wallpaper coming away from wall a little tlc needed but nothing too bad , was a smell of cigarettes not sure if people were smoking outside and it came through window even though we were on top floor
- Roche (9/5): Would stay again - Everything Some of the people staying there kept laying in the hallways, not the hotels fault or owners though
- Shaun (1/5): - Nothing was filthy How dirty it was
